Khun would be that subtle overprotective boyfriend 

He’d just kinda silently watch from afar but he’d totally kill anybody who hurt bam in any way, shape, or form

But he’d like be SUPER sweet with bam like

Pet names yall PET NAMES like khun and bam would prob both mutually melt when they call each other pet names

Khun would always help bam with hw and whatnot, let’s pretend bam’s a physics genius cause thats just how i imagine him in modern life, always has trouble with law class (he’s  taking it just for khun so he can understand what khun’s talking about) so khun helps him

Khun would be a super smooth talker, can woo a n y b o d y, exceptional at speeches, captain of speech and debate team

Khun would never admit he’s jealous but like the whole gang would know (except for bam who’s clueless as usual) 

Like bam is friendly with everybody so khun’d just be like ugh screw yall 

But then bam always confides in him and spends a crapload amt of time with him so he knows he’s just doubting himself and he’s mad at himself about it cause he knows bam is loyal to a fault and would never betray him

Sweet fucking Jesus, my sister is a trainwreck.

So let’s hop on back to Winter 2017-18 when my sister starts emo posting on Facebook about being upset/pissed/betrayed etc etc etc which, when I asked her about it, she had told me that her boyfriend had made out with another girl, and had fallen in love with this girl. Okay, so I figure she’s breaking up with him, moving out, and potentially moving back in with out mom with her three-year-old daughter.

Alas, when I ask my sister, she says she’s giving her boyfriend another chance. I warned her that once a cheater, always a cheater, but she disregards my advice, saying that she doesn’t want her daughter to be raised in a broken home. Which like... a father who constant cheats and pisses away any money he comes across is considered “unbroken”??? But whatevs.

Let’s hop forward to April 2018 and my sister admits to my mom that she’s pregnant (due at the end of September 2018). I guess all that makeup sex went unprotected? Though later she admits that she was trying to get pregnant again. My sister says that her boyfriend was totally on board with this and wanted another kid, but my sister is a pathological liar, so who the fuck knows. My guess is that she got pregnant again in the hopes that would force her boyfriend to stay/be faithful.

Let’s hop forward again to July-ish, when my sister again starts emo posting on Facebook, and I assume her relationship has tanked once more. But nothing really comes of it so I assume she forgave her boyfriend and they’re continuing to live in unhappy sin together.

Now let’s hop again to Labor Day 2018 (which is like... September 3rd. Keep in mind she’s due with Baby #2 on September 23rd), and she tells my mom that she needs to move back home because her boyfriend wants to live with “the love of his life” (girlfriend 2.0, as my mom and I call her). So my sister is nine months preggo and moving back into my mom’s basement with her four-year-old daughter.

Now, I don’t particularly mind my sister moving back when she needs help. That’s fine and all. But I take issue with the fact that she just assumes my mom will bail her out of her messes, and the fact that my sister had expressed no gratitude whatsoever about moving back home again with a four-year-old and an eventual newborn. It’s like my sister expects the aid.

All right, so the whole point of my sister moving home again was to help her get back on her feet. She worked at a job that pays $11.50 an hour, so after taxes and crap, she’s only bringing home about $400-450 every week. So that’s roughly $2000 per month. There’s no fuckin way she can afford rent and daycare and all the other expenses that comes with existing. So anyhoo, she moved home to save up her money and find a better-paying job so that she could eventually make it on her own (assuming her ex-boyfriend pays child support).

Let’s hop forward to December 2018. My sister at this point found a slightly better paying job, so that’s good, but it starts at 6am and the daycare doesn’t open until 6:30. So my mom’s on daycare drop-off duty. Which, whatever. I wouldn’t have done that in my mom’s shoes, but I’m not in my mom’s shoes.

Anyhoo, my sister eventually starts visiting her ex-boyfriend’s mom’s house all the time. Which I think it a little weird, but my sister has a decent relationship with her ex-bf’s mom, so fine, whatever. But eventually it was getting to be ridiculous. The mom lives a good 45 minutes away, so my sister is pissing away all this money on gas, and keeping her kids out until 9-ish at night, when my mother has to be the one to get them up the next morning for daycare. My four-year-old niece fucking haaaaaates waking up in the mornings. Hates it. And she’s got enough behavioral issues anyway, so while she should be past the temper-tantrum stage, she’s not.

Anyhoo, my mom goes to drop the kids off at daycare one morning and one of the aids mentions to my mom that my sister’s supposedly-ex-boyfriend has been with her when she’s been picking up the kids lately. Which is fuckin weird.

So my mom confronts my sister about whether she is back together with her boyfriend (and I should mention that a stipulation of my sister moving home again was that if she ever got back together with her boyfriend, she had to find another place to live. She and her boyfriend had lived with us for a year back when my sister had her first kid and it did not go well. Her boyfriend is a lazy, manipulative ass, and this on-again off-again relationship they’d had since Winter 2017-18 is not healthy for my sister at all).

My sister says yeah, they’re back together. She even paid the January rent on the apartment that ex-bf and girlfriend 2.0 are living in! (I think it’s so fuckin weird that my sister wants to get back with her boyfriend even while his new girlfriend is living at the apartment...)

So my mom says that my sister needs to be moved out by January 12th. This conversation happened shortly after Christmas. Well, a day or so before New Year’s Eve, my sister tells my mom that she and her boyfriend are not getting back together after all.

In my opinion, my sister should be forced to move out. She got back together with her boyfriend, even if it was only for like a week. But my mom has the biggest fucking heart in the world, and for some reason has this guilt complex that she wasn’t as good of a mom to my sister as she was to me. Which I don’t know where that came from, but my sister loves to rub it in my mom’s face that my mom did more stuff with me than with my sister.

So my mom lets my sister stay.

Fast-forward to today. My sister is evidently back with her boyfriend. Again. My mom is so upset and adamant that my sister has to move out this time. I’ll believe that when I see it.

So yeah. That has been my life for the past four months. And I’ve left out about half of the story because this post is already so fucking long and my hands are cramping.

I’m just so angry and upset. At my sister for manipulating and using my mom like this. At my mom for bending over backwards to try and help my sister. I’m just furious at everything and everyone, and I hate my sister so much. I hate her for not only fucking up my mom’s life but for fucking up her kids’ lives. My sister is a very lousy and lazy parent, and so is her boyfriend. My four-year-old niece has behavioral issues in part because my sister and her bf refuse to discipline her. And my four-year-old niece isn’t toilet trained yet. That’s fucking ridiculous. She turns five in April! And she can’t piss in a toilet! And my niece has really bad eczema that needs to be treated by a child dermatologist but my sister is too lazy to make appointments for her child. My mother made an appointment for my niece and took her back in December, where she was given a prescription. Well guess what. It’s the middle of January and my sister still hasn’t picked up that fucking prescription.

I’m so exhausted from this whole fucking ordeal and I want to scream at my sister until I’m blue in the face. But it won’t fucking help. Any time my mom or I try to talk to her, all we get are blank stares and shrugged shoulders. My sister needs serious fucking counselling. Though I probably do too. I’ve been considering calling the university’s counselling center and getting myself an appointment to see if it will help me deal with this anger I feel all the time.

Good God this has been exhausting to even write about, and I left out so many details. How on Earth did me and my sister even come from the same sperm and egg pool? This is fucking insane and I feel so bad for my poor mom for putting up with all this shit.

hello i am back lol

I think the last few times I wrote out a blog was when jj was deployed.  tumblr was a really helpful tool for me at that time because it allowed me to be completely vulnerable without having to burden anyone else!

I was looking back at my old posts and it’s so interesting to read where I was back then and to see the progression of how much life changes in such short bursts of time! So here’s just an update for my future self -- warning, it’s not very exciting hahaha

So, since jj returned in dec 2018, it’s honestly been great! We saw 2019 and 2020 as a time to catch up on all the lost time we had in the previous years.  No more exercises, training, or trips away, life actually went back to normal - which was weird.  I look back and think about how we’ve only been in this lifestyle since 2016, but so much can happen within a span of 4-5 years.  I’ve finally graduated from CFCC’s OTA program, which was honestly such a blessing because our class was able to complete our requirements before COVID got really bad.  Well, I should say most of our class.  As of right now, I think only one more person is finishing up their FW II, which is crazy because these days, I find myself thinking about how I was just finishing up HH and transitioning into peds outpatient in FW II exactly one year ago.  

I’ll talk a bit about my FW II experiences.. since they were not the greatest lol.

Home health was really interesting.  I was honestly DREADING it because 1, I don’t like spending long amounts of time in the car and 2, I hate being in the car with just one other person - especially someone I don’t feel100% comfortable with. Also, I wasn’t too fond of the idea of going to people’s homes either.  I think this placement really stretched me and pushed me out of my comfort zone in every aspect.  Looking back now, I genuinely enjoyed the experience for what it was! Would I voluntarily do it again? It depends! (which is a step up from a solid no) 

Our area covered the extremely rural areas of our surrounding counties and it definitely served as a huge culture shock.  But everyone was so sweet and grateful for any help they could get and I will always remember some of the most awesome patients I got to meet.  The negative effects of this rotation mostly came from my supervisor.  She was an awful human being, but thankfully, she was at least a good OTR.  However, that being said, I saw ZERO treatments! Even when I tried to tell my professor, NO ONE LISTENED OR BELIEVED ME.  It was extremely frustrating because I had all of these assignments to do and all of them were about mf interventions.  Anyways, my OTR was untimely, rude, unapologetic, and lacked empathy out of her ass.  I was so ready to be done with her and thankfully, she didn’t ruin HH as an option for me - just wasted my time with her.  If someone could win an award for the amount of countless hours they could talk about themselves, it would be her.  9 hours every day, non-stop, talking about herself and how great she is and her bf. omfg JUST GET ME OUT OF THE CAR

FW II was supposed to be really exciting for me.  I was done with HH and moving onto what I cared about the most and what I really felt passionate about.  Helping children in clinic! It was honestly my dream.  It was a multi-disciplinary site with SLP, PT, and OT. Everyone seemed nice and it just so happens that my OTR at this placement was a former Marine and he and I had a lot in common paper.  Boy, was I in for it.  He turned out to be an extremely narcissistic man who thought the world of only himself.  He shit talked EVERYONE behind their backs, but was extremely fake to their face.  Him and the front office administrator would gossip every moment they got, like they were 13 year old bullies.  He suffered from several TBIs when he was enlisted, so it’s safe to say that his temperament issues and memory loss were definitely a result of those.  But the worst part is, he refused to admit it.  He would shit talk the boss, the PR manager, the PTs, the clients, and just about everyone in between.  And he brought 100% of his personal life into this, which I get if we’re co-workers, that’s fine.  But as your student, I don’t need to know about that kind of crap.  On top of that, I was his first FW II student... lol of course I was.  So he knew nothing about how to help me, guide me, or teach me. Instead of looking at the informational packed my professor handed to him, he puts that in the closet the entire 9 weeks I’m with him and proceeds to continuously throw me under the bus when it came to doing my assignments and treating patients.  Mind you, I didn’t get to treat anyone in HH, so this is now my first real opportunity to start treating patients throughout the entirety of my program.  Safe to say, I was nervous.  But I pulled through and did my best and I forced myself to become really confident really quickly.  I was awesome at it and I was honestly very proud of the practitioner I was striving to be.  He did help me from time to time and I’d like to believe there were moments where he was genuine and tried his best to help me.  But none of those times outweigh the flustercluck that was that clinic.  Anyways, I came out pretty salty about the whole thing, but I didn’t let it ruin my passion for helping children, as that is what I aspire to do in the future.  I made strides with kids my OTR wasn’t able to connect with for months.  And instead of encouraging me and allowing me to fulfill my duty as a student, he re-books them with another therapist and anyone in healthcare knows how that detrimental that process is to their progression and tells me that he’s just trying to be nice and share his case-load with other people.  No, you’re purposefully taking them away from me because you can’t stand the thought of someone being better than you at something.  His pride and arrogance will forever taint my experience there and I have no intention of going back - which is a true shame because I absolutely fell in love with the kids and some of the other therapists there.  Oh well, good riddance to both my HH OTR and my peds OTR.

Luckily through it all, COVID was just beginning and it only delayed my graduation process a few weeks.  I was extremely fortunate to be one of the first few in my class to finish up and start studying for my NNCOT exam!

Studying for my exam was a time and a half.  I honestly had -0% confidence in myself to pass this test.  I knew it was coming, I knew I had to eventually take it.. but time just snuck up on me so quickly and before I realized, it was my time.  I studied for about 3 months, graduating in June and taking my exam in Sept.  I took a short break immediately following graduation and then read an entire 3,000 page textbook, took over 300 pages of notes, and took practice tests and listened to podcasts/watched youtube videos.  It was a lot of information but it was honestly so rewarding to think about how much knowledge I’ve truly gained from these past few years.  Fast forward, Sept 23, 2020 was the day I took my test and it was great! A lot less structured of a process than they make it sound and I was able to complete my exam in about 2 hours and passed a few weeks later! I got my license and everything was great!

For whatever reason, during this time, I felt in my heart that it was time to get another dog.  This topic kept coming up un-provoked in EVERY single conversation we had with others and it just felt right.  Being home now, I was able to spend every day with Teddy, rather than taking him to daycare.  Because of the uncertainties of COVID at the time, I didn’t feel comfortable taking him in, nor did I want to drive if I didn’t have to.  Teddy became extremely depressed, always sleeping in the closet or between the toilet and wall, which are places he goes only when he’s hurt or sick.  I would try to play with him and take him out, but he had lost all motivation to do anything.  It hurt my heart that I couldn’t give him what he wanted or what he needed.  So, after a lot of thought and research, Chester came into our lives! Teddy’s breeder had JUST had a litter of puppies (on the same day I took my exam!) and I figured it was a good time to raise another puppy, since I have the time and no outstanding commitments right now.  We picked him up in Nov, right before Thanksgiving and jj’s brother was in town to help us.  It was a looooong day, 5 hours there and 5 hours back.  I think we got home around 2am, but since then, my life has just been on hold while I raise Chester.

Teddy was not happy at first.  I could tell he was confused and upset that another dog was here.  But over time, they have become much closer and share experiences that has helped him become a better brother.  Chester is a lot of work lol but he’s brought so much joy to all of us and I love him so much.  He’s currently 5 months, losing all his baby teeth, and getting into everything and Teddy has been enjoying the company (in moderation lol).

In regards to our life, we were really hoping to PCS back home summer of 2020, but it didn’t happen.  It was pretty disappointing because we’ve been on the east coast the whole time we’ve been active duty.  A lot of our friends moved either back to their hometowns or to the west coast and it felt really unjustified that we were stuck here, but even so, we are making the most of it.  We would have had to move through COVID and we wouldn’t have gotten Chester, so those are definitely some benefits of staying put.  Since we’re here for a bit, we’ve decided to purchase a house! Our friends down the street are selling theirs and we figured it’d be a good financial idea to start allocating our rent into a cheaper mortgage.  It has a double yard and it’s a bit newer than our current rental.  So we are hoping to move around June! I’m excited, it’s kind of a fresh new start without having to be too big of a move for now.  

Mentally, I’ve been fluctuating.  I have a lot of self-inflicted guilt from not working at the moment.  And yes, I agreed to get Chester and it’s a full-time job to watch him and not have to crate him all day.  I want him to enjoy his puppyhood and I want to be here with him as well, so I do cherish these moments that I can have with both him and Teddy.  However, I just feel like it’s the right thing to do or it’s what I’m supposed to do. I graduate and then I work! But being here, it’s just not the path for me.  Besides, I keep reminding myself that there are no job openings in my immediate area right now anyways.  So for now, I’m just spending my days with the pups and working on keeping the house clean, which does bring me a lot of joy.  I need to learn to enjoy life and not worry about what I’m not doing.  To help myself, I signed up for transcription services again, so hopefully that’ll bring in some money and take up some time.  I think it’s the need to feel productive and I haven’t had that in a while.  But with COVID, I’m sure that’s a very popular feeling.  

I think that’s about it for now, that’s what’s been going with me the past few years! I can’t wait to read this in 2 years and hopefully, I won’t be in the same place lol

But I broke this down into:

card 7(modified): typically this is the “what will connect you” - modified I asked “what did connect you”

Hyena: Fear

Now this is an interesting card for this answer. What connected you was fear, so think of a time you were scared. This is probably when you met this person. Now because you’ve met them in the past, that doesn’t mean you met them recently. It could mean you met them when you were scared on your first day of kingergarden/daycare. It could be that you made eye contact while watching a horror movie at a theatre. It doesn’t mean that you know them well, just that you’ve met. So keep that in mind, but it most likely will be an event that you do remember. So think back to times when you were scared or afraid of something. - have you ever taken a climbing lesson when you were afraid of heights - could have been your instructor?

Hell hath no fury like a “nice guy”

I swear to god.

I have grown up in a tiny tiny town so being friends with a guy is not a new concept to me. They have become family and the idea of just being friends was more than fine with us. I think remembering that time they pooped the sandbox in daycare kind of kills the mood. I guess I lived in a bubble because the minute I and the other girls moved out of our tiny town we found out the hard way that just friends isn’t a thing.

When I went to college in a small town I was friends with a guy but slowly realized he was just talking to me to get to my hotter friends. I get it. I’m no model. I was at my highest weight then and still didn’t really know how to handle my hair. But yeah that was a bit of a hit to the solar plexus.

When I went to film school I hit it off with a super sweet guy. We hung out all the time and I made it perfectly clear I had a boyfriend who already had a moving day set to come live with me. My bf even came up to visit a couple times and met my friends, including nice guy. For a long while it was great. We always made eachother laugh. We would tease eachother kinda like brother and sister. But once it sunk in I wasn’t leaving my boyfriend, suddenly the teasing joke just wouldn’t stop. It went from “Haha you dumb bitch” to “Haha you dumb fucking ugly ass fat bitch”. I would literally stop laughing and say “Dude whats up? You ok?” He would never answer and just have this cold stare with this unconnected smile. We lost contact after a while.

This year I made friends with a guy at work. He was the new guy not only to work but to the city. He was pretty alone and I felt for him. I had been there before. So one day we hung out and had a great time. I thought we were pretty clear on my unavailability. One of the first conversations we had was about me planning my wedding. (In case you were wondering long distance boyfriend did indeed upgrade to live in fiance). We did tease a little but we mostly just had great conversation at work. He seemed cool. I could tell he kind of liked me but I assumed he would get over it over time seeing I was engaged when we met. But alas, just this past week I was goofing around with my coworkers. I was dancing all goofy and suddenly the sliding  door between the customers and the kitchen flew open. Thanks be to god a super chill friend of one of the coworkers was sitting in front row so we played it off and danced for her (we were all nerds the dancing was made to be laughed at). Thankfully the other customers were drunk on the christmas spirit and it made their experience more fun.

I looked over to the coworker friend and there he stood, same steely gaze and disconnected smile. I guess now being a married woman was the final nail in the coffin. The audacity that I would not fuck him after we hung out for one day and conversations during work. The nerve I have had to never really touch him but you know, be in the same area with tits. Maybe I laughed to much. Maybe I stood to close to him. But did I deserve that cruel gaze? 

I maybe a a dumb fat ass ugly ass bitch but I will never be a dumb fat ass ugly ass bitch willing to cheat on her husband for a guy who feels he deserves my sexual attention for hanging out with me one time.

4/1/17 Parenting agreement

Today I had to go over to Josh's to fill out the parenting agreement. We agreed on everything. That part went well. It was hard to look at him for awhile. I'm not gonna lie, I did my make up and tried to look nice. I want him to notice me and see the mistake he made. When we started talking about co-parenting, I started getting emotional. In July, I picture having Owen's bday party along with his baptizism. I imagine having all of Owen's family there. I finally told him this and told him that my bf will not be there and I don't want his gf there. He then admitted they were not together. She apparently broke it off and he told me he didn't know why. I kept asking what kind of woman could she be to date someone who treats women the way he does. He told me he asked her that.  He told his grandma he didn't care that I was dating Shawn. That stung a little. He really doesn't care that someone is with his wife. I keep forgetting he doesn't love me and hasn't in a very very long time, maybe ever to be honest. I imagine in my head taking family pictures with all of us. There is only one picture of all 5 of us. That's all I have of my family too. I told him I'm so mad at him because he doesn't understand how the kids feel. His parents are still together. I know how Natalie feels. She's a lot angrier than I was though. I talked about the difference between co-parenting and parallel parenting. My parents parallel parented and so do him and Alysca. He even brought up the perfect scenario of a good example of co-parenting. Sitting together at the kids events instead of separately like him and Alysca do. I hate how Vanessa is a separate person when she wasn't with us. That is not going to happen. The kids have a family no matter how many houses it has to live in. All of this being said, it just kinda brought up some feelings I have about him. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise. Me and him have always been good when it came to business. We for the most part have always agreed on stuff like that. We sucked at the relationship part of it obviously. But being so civil and in agreement makes me see the small tiny part of him that I love/loved. So for a few hours I thought about what it would be like to have that part of my life back. Living in that house, parenting together, being together. I realized I would make him sell that house and everything in it. I cant imagine him ever touching me again. It would be too painful. Its so easy to forget the things he has done to me in a moment of good memories. But I have to remember he killed me over and over again. When I was crying I told him I know what I did, but when I came back I tried. I really really tired. He told me he was just too stupid to realize. 2 years of dragging my mind through every resource I could get to make it all better and he didn't even notice. All the lies he told me can never be undone. I could never relax enough to trust him. There will come a day when I'm not angry anymore and I might not hate him either but I cant let my momentary reminisce blind me from what he did to me and the kids. There are pieces that are just unforgivable. He held me down and held me back a lot. Shawn is open and forgiving and fights for me. I have a feeling Josh didn't fight his gf to stay. I have wanted someone to fight for me for a long time. He was selfish and only thought of himself. How many times did I say that to him and he didn't listen. His selfishness lost him almost everything. All I can say to him is "What are you going to do" Where is this money gonna come from? How is he going to be able to live. He cant even pay his bills now. I just don't know. People tell me its not my problem but there's still that tiny piece of me that loves him and I don't want him to suffer like that but his family will bail him out of anything.  I had my review at work. A huge part of my issues at work were my personal life getting in the way. When I was on my anti-depressants I just wasn't able to perform the way I would normally. When I was pregnant my co-workers called me a work horse cuz I just kept going. Once I got on the anti-depressants that just kind of stopped. I thought it was because of my home life with Josh. When I got off them my ambition and initiative came back. I actually got a really good work. My boss called me resilient. I just over come everything. I never thought about it but I really do. I have over come everything that has happened to me and I'm actually doing really well with myself. I hate to do this but I compare myself to my sisters. We all had a different upbringing in someway or another but its interesting where we all ended up. Sam probably had the most stable upbringing. Her parents weren't together but her mom was always there supporting her. She prolly has done the worst so far. Dropped out of hs, two baby daddies, porn, drugs, alcohol, and still lives with her mom. Danielle is the second worse. She did graduate, had kids way too early with the worst guy imaginable, no college, shitty jobs, and still lives at home with her crazy abusive mother. I will say she got the relaxed tired version of mom. Me and Katie had the same first decade basically. A mix of abuse, neglect, and instability. We were forced to see things we should never have seen, felt things we should never have felt and were put in very inappropriate situations. The difference is at 12 yo I went and lived with my dad. That's when me and sam's lives collided and became similar and me and katies changed. Katie stayed with mom. She got the super abuse mother and the relaxed tired mother. Shes still messed up but better than the other two. She at least has her own place and a job. She doesn't hold it together the best. I disagree with so many things that she does. But she never had a mother to show her how to be one. I had Sandy. She saved me and helped me become so independent. I don't know why her daughter isn't that way. Maybe being with mom as a kid made me emotionally strong and Sandy made me independent. Sam is an emotional wreckage. I really don't know what happened. But I compare myself to them. I have a career, kids in school and daycare, that go to the dr regularly, who eat balanced diets, I have my shit together, I pay my own bills, I live on my own, I owned a house. Besides kids, no one else has done what I have done. Why? Why is that? I just have a drive about me, a resiliency that keeps me going forward. I'm always striving for more and I feel like that just are comfortable with what they have. Sam is showing progress maybe. She moved away and had a good job. She did just quit that a move back to Durand. Not sure why. Kinda makes me mad how they said Kentucky was so amazing. Even tried to get me to move there and now theyre back. The other thing that is bothering me is I want to tell my dad that sandy is back up I just feel like he'll get his hopes up. But I think he'll be mad at me for not telling him. idk how to deal with that situation yet. I think I feel better now. I had a lot to get off my chest.
