SO THAT FUCKIN. That fuckin au i mentioned where p03 was built by a scientist who wanted a kid- I made a bunch of fluffy doodles with them. Enjoy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, they were separated for over two decades, so of course there were a lot of tears when they reunited :]
Tumblr media
Baby P03 also had two pet ferrets
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I've also decided that it'd be cute if G0lly was P03's kid. He built her based on his own father's blueprints and she was originally intended to be his sister, but that didn't work out according to plan.
Tumblr media
Also, bonus Leshy :]

Cult of the Lamb/Inscryption Crossover
Aka Hard-drive AU
The Lamb
The Lamb is a freelance software developer. They were hired by a mysterious organization called TOWW. They don't know anything about the organization besides the fact they pay well and they want a job done. The task? They are to investigate a floppy drive and hack into the code in order to discover any hidden secrets. It seems like an easy enough task until they discover the characters in-game are sentient and the things that are hidden on the disc might should stay that way.
Leshy
Leshy is the Scrybe of Beasts. A generally chaotic being, he likes to toy with the Lamb but mostly just wants them to play with him. He's very fond of games, however the Lamb learns that the game they are presented with is not the true game and there are other characters hidden within the cards. The Lamb beats Leshy in a game and manages to revert the game world back to its true state, revealing the other scrybes and unknowingly stepping closer to ending everything.
Heket
Heket is the Scrybe of Technology. She is a fearsome creature and is generally cruel and sarcastic, berating the Lamb as well as her fellow scrybes. Her cards are decent, not great not terrible, but the boss mechanic can present quite a challenge, especially if the Lamb has a powerful deck and is unable to defeat her before their cards change sides.
Kallamar
Kallamar is the Scrybe of Magic and is one of if not the most challenging bosses the Lamb faces. His decks are very rng based, moreso than with the other scrybes, which means it can take several attempts to defeat him and frequently leaves the Lamb frustrated anytime they have to deal with him. He's a coward and often warns the Lamb to close the game and go no further, begging them to turn back before they destroy everything.
Shamura
Shamura is the Scrybe of the Dead. A charismatic and cheerful being, they like to give riddles and have the Lamb perform puzzles in addition to the primary gameplay. They are one of the Lamb's favorite scrybes to visit, not just because they have the best cards, but they're also just very fun to be around and tend to give great advice. They can seem a bit flighty though, and while nice, they are not to be trifled with, making for an extremely challenging boss fight. They have the gift of prophecy, though the Lamb doesn't learn that till much later, and is working towards a hidden agenda that not even the other scrybes know about.
Narinder aka The Old Data
The Old Data is some code hidden deep within the game files. This is what TOWW has hired the Lamb to uncover. By converting the game back to its original format, the Lamb has made it easier for The Old Data to come through and influence the world, signs of his presence appearing in hidden corners of the map. If all of the scrybes are defeated, the game will break and The Old Data will become free, leading to disastrous consequences.
The Witnesses
This is a singular being that appears in a different form depending on which part of the map you're in, matching the scrybe that rules the area. They are a neutral being, incredibly aware of both the real world and the dangers of The Old Data, but understand how fickle the Lamb as a player is, offering warnings but not stopping them as they proceed.
Focalor
A minor npc the Lamb encounters in Shamura's domain, he was once a real world being just like the Lamb before dying and being reincarnated as an NPC within the game. While his code limits him and his abilities to interact within the game, he is still sentient. He was a developer at TOWW and originally discovered what was hidden within the game. He decided to alter the game into the format the Lamb originally sees, binding the scrybes onto playing cards and leaving Leshy in charge of things since he was the least likely to protest and cause problems. Though he didn't like Focalor's plan, he went along with it since he genuinely liked Focalor and really just likes having fun. Focalor also threatened to alter the game without getting Leshy's opinion on design and mechanics so might as well go along with it. He was sad that Focalor died but is glad that he's in the game. Shamura has a soft spot for Focalor, finding him charming albeit foolish, and Heket just likes making fun of him.

Forrest Family
Platonic Leshy + Subordinates
Reader is always gn unless stated otherwise
[Author’s Note: I totally forgot I had this blog 😭 basically in this au Leshy and all of his subordinates exist in the real world. Y/n gets two loving families in this and I am considering making several parts of this au because you don’t meet everyone in this oneshot]
[⚠️Small mentions of death but no one actually dies, reader almost drowns but is okay in the end]
No one could ignore the sound of a crying baby, not even the strange entities that resided within the woods.
The Trader was the one who found you wedged between a car seat and pieces of dented metal. The car must have fell from the mountain roads. Miraculously, there was not a single scratch on your tiny body. There were two figures in the front row seats but The Trader could hardly see them through the rubble.
The only thing she can see is the fussy baby strapped in a car seat. The car seat had a name sewed onto the top of the fabric. “Y/n…” She mumbles tentatively.
Assuming that your parents didn’t survive the crash, she scooped you up into her arms and took you to the heart of the forest where the Scrybe of Beasts lived along with his subordinates. The entities in this forest had questionable morals but even they knew that a baby couldn’t be left to die. They couldn’t leave the forest and there were no campsites to drop you off safely so the only option they had was to raise you.
Not everyone was open to the idea but you ended up winning their hearts quickly.
What they didn’t know was that your parents were alive, simply knocked out from the harsh collision. They were lucky enough to have cellphone service and were able to call for help. They were fine with injuries that could easily be treated. The worse wounds your parents suffered was when they found out their child wasn’t in the backseat. Your car seat was found unbuckled but you were too young to know how to free yourself and even if you did you wouldn’t be able to go very far with your limited mobility.
A mystery like this was all over the news as the grieving parents dealt with interviews and interrogations that only rubbed salt in the wound. Despite this tragedy, your parents were able to work through it and stay together.
Seven years later you were found by an explorer in the woods who found you feeding seeds to the small creatures of the woodlands. Seeing this child alone and away from civilization, they left the woods with you and called the police. That day you were safely returned to your biological family but your forest family had lost you. They knew that this was a good thing and that is why they let you go despite being close enough to see what was happening.
As much as they loved you, you needed to be with people, with your original family. That night the woods was quiet. It was void of any joyful giggles and the little pitter patter of you running around playing games.
When you were found no one expected you to be in such good condition. The clothes on your back kept you warm and your nails were neatly clipped. You even knew how to read, write, speak, and do some simple math. Everyone was grateful that you were safe and sound but everyone was curious as to how a child could be in such good condition despite being in the woods for seven years.
You couldn’t have gotten this way by yourself meaning that someone took care of you. When you were asked about who you were with in this woods you told people everything.
You told them about your three uncles: The goofy one who had a cute dog and was always looking for gold, the one who always fished and taught you not to be scared of the water, and the one who frequently set up traps in the forest that would hum melodies that lulled you to sleep. Then you told them about your aunt who had a peculiar hairstyle who loved card games. You even told them about your two older siblings, Luke and Kaycee who resembled two people who went missing in the same forest you spent your years in.
The last person they heard about was your Forest Father who you described to be a man with animal legs covered in twigs and leaves. He watched over everyone and loved to play games in his cabin.
Despite being unnerved, most people brushed it off as you having an active imagination. These people had to exist but surely they didn’t have the inhuman features you spoke of. The people who raised you were a mystery to everyone but with you found safe the case was closed and you were now going to live a normal life with the family you should have always been with.
You ended up living in a good home and reconnecting with your parents as well as making friends. Then you grew up into a healthy adult with a job and a small place.
Yet you still remembered your forest family, that’s why you were here.
You knew if you told anyone, especially your family they would freak out so this was something you did without telling anyone. You aren’t sure why but lately the mystery behind your forest family happened to be eating away at you. You wondered if they truly looked so strange or if you just didn’t remember things correctly because you were a child.
You needed answers for yourself and thus you’re in the forest where you spent a chunk of your childhood. Despite it being so long ago, you still knew how to walk these trails. The smell of the dirt and ferns was comforting to you. Even if you didn’t find the people you were looking for it was still nice to be here. The family you remember might not even be in the woods anymore.
Then you spotted something that made you freeze. You took a step back and then crouched down to look at it. It almost looked like a statue of a frog made with metal and screws. You tapped its head and its shape suddenly changed into a bear trap which you made stumble back in alarm. Dirt coated the trap and there wasn’t a single speck of rust which means that this trap has to be new! And if it is that means that your forest family was still here! You remember how your uncle Trapper would make these strange looking frog traps to lure in animals.
With a newfound sense of determination you continued onward. You wondered how your forrest family would react when they saw you again. You hope that they’re as nice as you remember them being. You hope they want to see you.
It wasn’t very long until you faced another obstacle in your path, a body of water that stretched out across the land. It would take too long to find where the water stops. If you wanted to continue on your best bet would be to cross the water. You looked down into the water but you couldn’t gage how deep it was, the water was too murky. You would just have to take a chance, you were a strong swimmer though so you should be okay if the water is deep.
You walk to the edge, looking at your own reflection as you tried to hype yourself up. You had gone so far that there was no point in turning back. It was just a little bit of water.
One foot cautiously dips into the water. It doesn’t seem that deep! With more confidence, your other foot submerges itself in the water and sinks slightly under the mud. You begin to wade in the water, taking things one step at a time. At least the current isn’t very strong.
You’re halfway across but with your next step, the ground seemingly disappears under you. In an instant, your head is swept beneath the water. You don’t have enough time to take a breath and your limbs flail around as you try to swim but your backpack weights you down. In your panic the only thing you do is thrash around like an animal as the dirty water gets in your nose and eyes. You don’t even consider that your backpack is the one keeping you trapped within the water.
Just when you think it’s hopeless, you feel something tugging you up by your shirt and in a flash you’re back above the water. You let out a few coughs as you rubbed the dirt out of your eyes. When your vision cleared you looked up at the one who had saved you. It was a large man with a fishing rod in his with a comically large fishing hook on it. You look at the man’s green tinted skin and the fins on his head with disbelief. He looked exactly how you remembered.
“Uncle Angler!” You were the first to break the little staring match you two were having. Despite being cold and tired you stood up and hugged him. “Y/n Fish.” His voice lacked any inflection but you still knew how to read him even after all these years and you knew he was happy to see you too given the way his arms engulfed you. It was a strange hug but he made you feel safe and secure.
After a few moments both of you take a step back but you’re still looking up at him with a smile. “I’m so glad to see you! Do you know where the others are?”
“We’re close. I can lead.” He says as he picks up a few buckets of fish to take with him. You go to grab one in order to help you out but he gives you a look. The Angler doesn’t want you carrying such a heavy bucket after going through so much. His pace is slow which makes him easier to keep up with. He’s as big as you remember but also just as gentle. You don’t mind walking back with him in silence. The Angler had always been a man of few words and as a kid you two would sit together and fish in silence which taught you remarkable of patience.
The walk isn’t too long but you’re still exhausted. It was a long drive to get here, and then a long walk, and then almost becoming a meal for The Angler’s great whites. But it’s all worth it, especially when you see the figure in the clearing. Some would find him scary. He’s a tall figure whose body is adorned with plant life. A deer-like leg kicks at the dirt behind him. He holds an old fashioned camera in his hands.
As you and The Angler approach he looks over at the direction where he hears the snapping of twigs and dry leaves. Both of you stare each other. His eyes becoming luminous orange spirals as he comprehends what he’s seeing. And in a moment, both of you run at each other. Your backpack is discarded to the ground without another thought and whatever Leshy was going to take a picture of is long forgotten.
His limbs are lanky but incredibly strong. You feel like a child again being held like this. You rest your head against his shoulder and inhale the familiar scent of greenery that never withered or decayed.
“You came back.” He whispers those words faintly but you still hear them. You knew that this might be emotional and yet you’re overwhelmed by your feelings in the best way possible.
“Of course I did.” Your breathing is shaking but you still let out a small laugh. “You’re all my family too and I’ll always want you guys to be apart of my life.” You wipe your nose on your sleeve and sniffle.
This feels like the greatest thing that could ever happen, to have two families who love and care for you even if it’s in different ways.
It’s saddening that you can’t allow your biological family to meet your forrest family but you’re happy to have them both. You’re happy to live a boring, technology filled civilian life as well an exciting one in the woods filled with magic and mystery.
You have the best of both worlds.

Okay, this was an idea I shared with my friend a while ago and I wanted to write it out. So you know how P03 turns into a stoat right? What if P03 had an established S/O (Who isn’t a challenger mind you) before Act 1 and while they’re looking for him, they stumble upon Leshy and get turned into a stoat too? Don’t worry, the ask prompts are still in progress. It’s just going to take me a while to get to everyone because there’s like 11 asks and 7 of them are for 3 or more people. I might make multiple stories of this and you all are more than welcome to request something with the ask prompts with this idea of mine. Imma call this Au, ‘The second stoat card Au’.  Anyways I hope you enjoy, and have a good rest of your day/night!
-A Mysterious Transformation-
“P03? Are you out here?” You called out as you stumbled across leaf strewn ground, pushing past against low hanging pine branches. You had been looking for your beloved Scrybe, P03, who had mysteriously gone missing without a trace.
While your fellow coworkers continued their work in the factory, you decided to go looking for him. It wasn’t like him to leave the factory unannounced, let alone for extended periods of time. You tried to set your worries aside as you continued forward. However that residing fear sat in your gut like a led weight.
“P03? Come on, answer me!” You called out again, desperation made your chest ache. Your ears pricked at the sound of rushing water in the distance, maybe Leshy has an idea as to where he went? You set off into the direction of Leshy’s cabin, hopefully you will find some trace of your lover there.
The last thing you saw was a flash of white. You had lost against Leshy in a round of Inscryption, however what he had said beforehand didn’t sit right with you. “Although I have significant doubts that you will use the Old Data for your own personal gain, I am not willing to risk it to be in someone’s hands whom that bot trusts.” What Leshy had meant by that was beyond you, but you didn’t really have any time to think about it. Once you had woken up from the effects of the flash, you were still in Leshy’s cabin.
However things were different, you were lying face up towards the ceiling and you were inside a compact space. You tried looking around, but considering your position, it was difficult. '`Finally awake huh?” said a voice above you. You looked to see a white stoat right above you, it’s pale eyes staring into you. That voice sounded so familiar. No it couldn’t be him, could it? “Here let me help you out.” It said as it grabbed you by the back of the neck and pulled you out of the compacted space.
You turned to look at what you were stuck in, it was one of Leshy’s beast cards. You were puzzled, how did you get into one of his beast cards? You looked at the name of the card. ‘Stoat’ it read, upon reading this you looked down at where your feet would be, but instead you saw two paws, all too similar to a stoat.
“Pretty sure there aren’t any other Scrybes around here, or have I just been gone that long?” The stoat spoke, ears flattening slightly. “I’m assuming you’re not sure how you ended up like this either?” You said, trying to see if Leshy was anywhere nearby. He didn’t seem to be on the other side of the table.
The stoat huffed, “Well, that stinking beast certainly has something to do with it, that’s for sure.” It muttered, then it paused. “Wait…” it said, a mixed expression of horror and disbelief on its small face. “S-S/O? Wh-What are you doing here?! I thought you would’ve stayed at the factory!” The stoat spoke frantically. All of your worried thoughts came crashing down on you, it’s him. It’s really him.
P03 was the stoat standing in front of you at this very moment. You felt yourself rush forward and the next you knew you were nuzzling against P03’s white, fluffy chest. “I-I was worried, so I came looking for you.” You murmured. You felt P03 rest his head on top of yours, “You’re too kind for your own good, you know that?” it said, its fur ruffling against a sudden chill in the cabin. You stayed silent, unsure of what to say. “Stoat? Is there another talking card?” Called a voice from below the table.
P03 pulled away and scampered off to the edge of the table, you followed close behind him. “Yes Stink Bug, there is.” P03 announced with his gaze flicking from you and back to the stink bug on the cabin floor. “There’s more talking cards? Are all the cards like this?” You asked, more questions swarming your mind by the second. P03 shook his head, “No, not all of the cards are like this. It’s just us four.” You tilted your head to one side, “Four?” As if on cue, a wolf with a scarred eye emerged from the darkness and joined the stink bug beneath the table. Well this was certainly going to be quite the situation.
—- I will make multiple stories of this, don’t worry about it ending on a cliffhanger.

~doot’s blog directory~
welcome to my fanart blog! glad to have you ^^ i’ve done stuff for a few fandoms over the years, so if you’re looking for something specific here is a directory of all my major fandom projects, sorted by how recent they are!
Inscryption:
OLD_FOLKS HOME: my human AU fanfic wherein all the Scrybes live in a modern-day retirement home; updates ~every 3 weeks
Digital Affection: a musical storyboard retelling the events of inscryption, but through the lens of magnificus and p03 having romantic feelings for each other throughout
Art tags: #retyrement au (also #p03ficus is my po3/mag ship tag)
Deltarune:
i’ve not done much for deltarune, but i’m still pretty proud of my spamton jon arbuckle AMV parody lol
Shovel Knight:
Le Moteur et L’ingenieur: my completed tinker x propeller knight shipfic! i have a tinkerpeller oneshot up on ao3 as well ^^
Art tags: #tinkerpeller is my ship tag for tinker/prop
=====
I am taking commissions! Here is my commission sheet with prices, and a link straight to my ko-fi if you'd just like to drop me a few bucks
i have an ao3 account, and a youtube channel where i crosspost my storyboards! you can find my ao3 here and my youtube here
I also have a couple other semi-relevant fandoms that i’m either not as involved in or am probably not returning to, which i’ll put under the cut for posterity so this post isn’t miles long lol; thanks so much for checking out my page! hope you enjoy your stay ^^
Homestuck/Intermission:
i’m kind of in hibernation with the homestuck intermission, it never truly leaves me lol
Felts of other Manors: a collection of alternate versions of the felt based around the other aspects, as well as other board games in the same vein as billiards; you can still find them under my #feltsofothermanors tag
Super Mega Humanstuck Felt Mystery Angst Bonanza: my truly ancient metatextual parody fanfic featuring the humanized cast of the intermission; i wrote it in high school so it’s rough as hell, but if you want a good laugh i still think it’s a great 2015 time capsule
Cuphead
in my high school days, i drew a lot of cuphead AU stuff on deviantart; in the years since i’ve started college i’ve fallen out of interest with it (and with deviantart), so this is properly a posterity inclusion
Null and Void: my human AU fanfic that posits the idea that cuphead’s bosses were human prior to their contracts, and covers the post-canon implications of all that; written in the fandom’s prime, so there’s a lot of fanon names and since-disproven headcanons lol; as of writing this it’s both the longest and most-read of all my fanfics, so i’m still kinda proud of it! probably won’t be returning to the concept though (UPDATE: OFH has long surpassed this one in both length and popularity lmao)
alright that ought to be everything, seeya for reals!

Incredulous (Inscryption × Miraculous crossover)
This spawned from the idea of 'what if the main characters of inscryption were each given a miraculous?' [Except I'm indecisive so the Scrybes get two options]
I'm sorry. 'Magical girl brain' won. Behold the ramblings.
-—- Grimora -—-
Cat (Cataclysm) [Chatilly]
Is it stereotypical to give the scrybe of the dead the miraculous of destruction? Yes but I think it works well for her! Also the name comes from the Chantilly-Tiffany breed of cat.
Grimora seems to have a more aloof and carefree attitude compared to the others but knows when to get serious when the situation calls for it.
Butterfly (Akumatization) [Purple Empress]
I think of all the scrybes, Grimora would have the most to do with the theme of 'transformation'. In act 2 during her battle she changes the challenger's cards to undead ones. Plus sometimes butterflies are associated with death.
-—- P03 -—-
Peacock (Amokization) [P3AF0WL]
P03 doesn't seem like the type to be attune with emotions compared to it's fellow scrybes and I think that makes for a good challenge when creating and controlling Amoks.
I didn't give him the butterfly instead because I feel like P03 would prefer a more direct control over and underlings, less variables to worry about.
Mouse (Multitude) [WIR3L3SS]
Again P03 strikes me as the type to depend mainly on itself so giving it the mouse would be a more direct form of that idea. Could also allow him to talk to the uberbots face to face but don't count on it.
-—- Leshy -—-
Snake (Second Chance) [The Serpent]
Overall Leshy was the hardest to assign a miraculous to for some reason that I can't understand. His hero names are based on the naming convention of his subordinates.
Initially I decided on giving Leshy the snake because 'ouroboros' but then I started to think about how act 1 kinda resembles a time loop he has complete control over that the player must break out of.
Ox (Resistance) [The Bovine]
Leshy just gives me 'unstoppable' vibes I guess. The ox's ability prevents the user from being affected by another's ability or attack which kinda reminds me of the starvation cards.
-—- Magnificus -—-
Goat (Genesis) [Landrace]
The Goat's weapon is a paintbrush but that's not the reason I initially chose this one for Mags. According to the miraculous wiki the Goat's ability is to create 'a mundane object that the hero must use to defeat the villain'
His precognition ability (if kept alongside the miraculous) would allow him to figure out the best tool for the job similar to that of 'lucky charm'.
Rooster (Sublimation) [Silkie]
Sublimation grants the user the ability to choose any superpower they desire. Magnificus seems like the type to try and limit himself when coming up with a power.
-—- Luke -—-
Ladybug (Lucky Charm) [LuckyBug]
Despite this AU sharing no storyline similarities with miraculous I still think it'd be nice to have a ladybug holder as our protagonist.
Known as the 'Lucky Carder', Luke would be most fitting for the ladybug role but I also think over the role fits well because as it fits with the actual game of inscryption; making the right moves at the right time with just a touch of randomness and fortune.
-—-
It's called Incredulous [meaning to be unwilling or unable to believe something] because I kinda thought it'd be a good way of combining both titles 👉👈
I imagine the story would go about the same way as Inscryption canon; Luke finds the ladybug miraculous after the previous holder (Kaycee) vanishes and its up to him to defeat The Serpent who's trying to collect the miraculous for some mysterious reason.

Okay so, since I’m not sure if it’ll ever get fully written, my fic/au idea goes like this:
Act 1 starts off based on @randomgamefan’s excellent Playtester AU, since I’m a sucker for the whole “protagonist gets sucked into media” premise. (In this one, Luke’s an only child after the death of his sister and doesn’t have much contact with his family.) Luke’s computer crashed and G0lly’s upload failed, but one rushed copy did manage to be created on Luke’s computer, a sort of imperfect cut and paste of the original Inscryption; all that remains on the floppy is the OLD_DATA… but that doesn’t mean the copy is free of it. Luke wakes up generally confused, meets the Scrybes, and finds out he’s in the game... or part of him at least, according to Grimora.
(He was never shot. When he viewed the OLD_DATA, he couldn’t eject the floppy in time and it took his mind, leaving his body comatose and crashing the computer. Since he never called the press, Amanda wasn’t alerted for the last resort and she took the disk and his evidence once the house was empty.)
He tries to help out, but what little working relationships the Scrybes had before are completely shot through now, and the damage to the game, a mysterious illness, and other strange occurences aren’t helping matters. Cue some detective work while trying to play peacekeeper, filler slice of life, a massive battle with the source of the illness, and finding out how to get Luke back into the real world. Outside the Scrybes’ knowledge, during the process of getting him home, Luke tries to bring them with him by focusing on all his encounters with them.
Act 2 is where things gets fun and where the idea for this whole thing originated! Luke wakes up from his coma and rushes home once he’s discharged. He finds his house neatly ransacked but empty, until he checks the floppy disk drive and finds four official-looking Inscryption card-game cards depicting a three-legged stoat, a face-marked stinkbug, a one-eyed wolf, and a moss-covered grizzly bear… and they can talk (P03 is so pissed about being a stoat again and it wants everyone to know it; Leshy is living the dream). More than that, they find out that the Scrybes can exit their cards as the beast they’re depicted as during the daytime, and assume their true forms during the night. After fixing the computer, the rest of the game’s characters can all still be interacted with and use the floppy drive to interact with the real world (though with a time limit).
I call it the Roommate AU! This part is basically funny slice of life, small conflicts, and relationship building, while also setting up the pieces for Act 3. Including but not limited to:
- Trying to keep a frequently-wandering Leshy out of sight of the neighbors before they call animal control
- Stoat-P03 using a Roomba as transportation
- Luke waking up to find Grimora holding a seance in his living room and immediately going back to bed
- Decorating Magnificus like a Christmas tree
- Found family and the requisite angst and comfort that comes with it
Act 3 is where everything comes together for one last big conflict that requires all that built-up trust and teamwork to overcome. The details of said conflict are still up in the air, but would likely include GameFuna really coming after Luke after one too many close calls rather than being the looming but indulgent threat from the previous act, making a true Inscryption game using all of the Scrybes’ expertise, and other things.
There we go! I’m currently writing some bits and pieces, but for now it’s just ideas. I’ll probably post some drawings/snippets if people are interested. Feel free to ask me about it!

Please, explain the third act of the game to someone who only knows inscryption through your blog
(maybe that'll help with the ava au!)
HMM! Good idea!
God knows ACT 3 is incomprehensible if you just look at my blog alskglsjs
Spoilers for ACT 3 under the Read More!
Okay so ACT 3 is similar in style to ACT 1. It's a 3D environment in first person perspective, only this time, its P03 who's in charge. As such, everything is stylized like its game! The big game mechanic changes are the use of Energy Cards rather than Beast cards, the introduction of 5 lanes instead of 4 lanes, and that this game mode is no longer a roguelike but more like Dark Souls where if you die, you drop your robobucks and get sent back to your last checkpoint. Theres also the inclusion of Mox Gems but that's later in the game.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(I just took these images from google but they give the general vibe of this section)
The basic gist of it is that at the end of ACT 2, P03 hijacks the game and using bits of the OLD_DATA (a messed up and evil thing buried beneath the code of the game) it takes over in the same way as Leshy did. Now P03 is in charge and it has a job for you. You need to play its game and complete "The Great Transcendence"! What is the "Great Transcendence"? Oh, you'll see.
Just like in ACT 2, there are 4 areas of the game board to visit. Each one is themed after one of the 4 Scrybes and each has a themed Uberbot as that section's miniboss. If you've seen drawings of a bot named G0lly, that's where she comes from!
Just like in ACT 1, in ACT 3 after the battery of the holographic board dies, it will allow you to stand up from the table and move around its factory for the rest of the game. You can solve puzzles and find secrets and stuff. Eventually, one of the cameras is mysteriously broken and P03 sends you to go fix it.
As it turns out, instead of turning its fellow Scrybes into cards, P03 just locks them in the basement of its facility. Which I find incredibly funny because it's only locked by a "Are You A Robot" Captcha. The 3 Scrybes are pissed. They warn you that P03 is going to far with its "Great Transcendence" and that it must be stopped. They task you to keep the bot distracted while they escape and put an end to P03's rule.
And you do. You play through the rest of P03's game and when you head back to the start to begin the "Great Transcendence", P03 reveals that it was all a ruse to use your computer to upload Inscryption to the Steam store. That way millions of people will be able to play the game and P03 would be in charge of most of them.
It begins the "Great Transcendence" and well...
Tumblr media
The Scrybes fulfill on their promise to stop P03 and Leshy and Magnificus urge you to use the "New Game" option to reset the game. Grimora on the other hand has a different plan. Using the file access folder (from the Uberbot Archivist fight) she gives you to option to delete the game. And you do.
Which leads us into The Epilogue. Which I'm not gonna explain in this post because this is already getting kinda long.
This is the bare bones basic plot of ACT 3 but I hope it was helpful! Theres a lot more nuance and details in this ACT but for sake of time, thats about all is needed for now.
For my Animation vs Inscryption needs, I think writing this out has definitely helped! I think I have a much clearer picture on how ACT 3 with the Stick Figures would go!
Thank you for this ask Anon!

have some funny thoughts
inscryption spoilers
i don't know if im the only one who's thought this, but it seems like in order for a scrybe to take power they have to battle the challenger. probably because, idk, all of their power is in cards, and cards have to be played to be used.
taking this into account, i raise you this au idea: luke carder dies to gamefuna before finishing act 2, and before any scrybe can get their hands on the old data. all of them are stuck in the base game and at this point are equals. they don't interact at first but a while passes and y'know being on a disk is a little boring so they slowly become friends. society on the islands improves.
idk i think it'd make a great albeit wacky slice of life with a side of mystery. like gravity falls! also probably best in comic or cartoon format. just a lil idea :]

I COULD write down the actual story to my MotS AU, but I could ALSO just TLK-ify them and then tell you absolutely nothing

How does the timeline work in the scientist au? You mentioned that P03 was separated from their dad so how does that happen? Why don't they reunite sooner? Is it because of scrybe duties or something else? Do any of the other scrybes also have relatives or is P03's dad the main focus?
Sorry for so many questions, I'm just a very curious soul lmao
OH, I'LL GLADLY RAMBLE ABOUT IT. Honestly, the only reason I didn't explain this earlier because I sometimes feel kinda embarrassed about my AUs and ideas djfhfj
So, the AU is called Mystery of the Scrybe and it's actually an AU for my OC, but I'll just focus on P03 here. So first, worldbuilding;
There are two continents that. I am still very much developing. I actually auto-generated a map for it and I wish I altered it a bit more but my potato laptop was having a stroke everytime I wanted to alter something so this is all I've got:
Tumblr media
P03 was originally from the larger continent on the right, I'll explain how he got to the other one in a hot second. Anyway, there are actually more than 4 scrybes and they are generally seen as leaders of their communities, are long-living (not actually immortal but close enough) and usually have some sort of power/ability or two relating to what they're the scrybe of. They're way less common on the continent/culture P03 originated from.
So with that down; P03's father is Dr Howard Cook, a brilliant engineer employed by some big corporation. He worked at a lab in a rural area with his colleague Dr Jonathan Johnson and two assistants, Ludwig Lovelace and Clark Harris. Howard was well-off and content in his life; he was a middle-aged man who never really considered starting a family with anyone (acearo rights babyyy) but always wanted to be a father. He eventually decided he really did want a child, but for whatever reason instead of adopting a child he decided to make it instead.
P03 started as a simple AI on a computer that Howard developed with time and made it so that P03 would learn and develop on its own with time. And Jon helped made them, though very reluctantly. Aside from Howard, Clark was the first one to get attached to P03, even when it was a simple AI on a computer, since he's a big sweetheart and it wasn't hard for him to see P03 on the same level as a human child. Then Howard and Jonathan eventually developed a place-holder humanoid body for P03 that it could use to interact with the world. They taught him how to walk and use his hands, and stuff like that, and gave him a LED mask for a face. It was hard for P03 to replicate human speech and expressions at first, so for the time being it would display text on it's face to communicate. Ludwig was the next one to get attached to the little robot, though he showed affection in his own kind of distant way. But seeing P03 behave like a little kid would did make the last two eventually get sold on the idea of this, and they helped raise him. Clark even made P03 a sweater, saying he was worried they'd get cold even when it was explained to him that P03 couldn't perceive temperatures (he's a little dumb but he's got the spirit 💜). P03 very quickly came to consider the other three to be its family too, calling them its uncles.
It was when P03 was about the age of a 12-year-old child that the word of Howard's secret project got out. His employers reasoned that since P03 was developed by him in their lab then it belonged to them and tried to pressure Howard into handing the robot over, while the local people weren't too keen on this pretty isolated weird scientist playing god by creating sentient AIs in their town and wanted to get rid of P03. So, Howard decided it'd be best if they switched locations, for P03's safety, but as they were preparing to leave they were caught off-guard by an angry mob. Howard told his three friends to take P03, some essential things like the blueprints for a future bot he wanted to create (G0lly), and go while he would distract the angry townsfolk. They got a considerable distance away when the three decided they couldn't just let Howard die and needed to get back to him, so they hid P03 and told him to stay put while they went to get his father. That pretty much saved Howard's life, as he was seriously injured, which would leave him disabled for the rest of his life.
But as you can imagine, P03, being a scared kid, did not stay put. I am still unsure about what exactly happened, but he got lost and his caretakers couldn't find him again. After months they concluded P03 was either dead or got kidnapped, and they couldn't do anything. Howard was devastated. He retired early and faked his own death and moved away for his own safety. His three friends did the same and lived with him, eventually taking the roles of his caregivers as his disability and age eventually started getting to him.
Meantime, P03 somehow managed to survive by himself, and eventually made it across the sea to the new continent. He didn't know how to go back home, and part of him was scared to even go back, worried that he might find his family dead or the people that wanted to hurt him would get him. But his dad designed him to learn and develop by himself, so he did, and he started upgrading himself with time. He managed to survive on his own for some years before eventually taking residency in Bottopia, which is a city of its own in this AU, and eventually started training under the resident scrybes there (the uberbots). The three helped it upgrade its body into a more and more human-looking model, just as it wanted, and it actually took traits from his father and uncles to design itself.
But living in Bottopia never quite felt right and eventually, P03 decided to leave to find a place where he'd belong and maybe even become a scrybe in the meantime. Eventually, it decided it'd be a good idea to construct that bot its father was once working on as it still had the blueprints. G0lly was originally designed to be its sibling, and P03 planned to keep it that way, but it did not go according to plan at all. Naturally, being her only caregiver, G0lly started seeing P03 as a parental figure, who eventually relented and accepted his role as her father. He was a bit nervous about it at first, suddenly being very afraid of making any mistakes and fretting over G0lly more than he should; he did prepare himself to raise his sibling, but being a parent instead somehow hit him differently and he wasn't mentally prepared for that. He did eventually come to care for her in a parental way and he mellowed out with time.
He eventually arrived at the archipelago and challenged the three scrybes there. He originally didn't plan to stay there, but they seemed like kind people, the place was nice and G0lly seemed to like it so in the end, he decided to stay there, and the other three scrybes gladly welcomed them as one of their own. They actually helped raise G0lly afterwards, often taking care of her while P03 was working on constructing his factory and bots (who were designed based on its uncles because it's a sappy bastard).
25+ years after the incident that separated him from his family; by this point, P03 has settled in the archipelago and is content there. G0lly was all grown up and became a scrybe of her own, now residing in Bottopia (which P03 was happy about since he trusted she'd be safe with his old friends). P03 would eventually confide in his fellow scrybes and partner about what happened over two decades ago and that partly why he never went back was because he was afraid that he'd find his family dead. But he got bullied convinced by others to go find his father anyway. So, they did, they packed up their old things and set off for a few months.
When he arrived in his hometown, he heard that his father was dead, which obviously devastated him but he still hoped that he could at least find his uncles. Eventually, they found out where they lived and went there. It was an old mansion in the middle of the forest in mountains, far far away from any major cities.
Because of all the shit that went down, they did not take well to unexpected visitors, and Howard's old friends were determined to protect him (after all, they already failed him once and felt the need to make up for losing his kid). So, you can imagine they did not take well to some stranger walking onto their property. All of them obviously aged in the two decades and P03 looked nothing like they did as a child, so none of them recognised each other and this misunderstanding very quickly turned violent.
Howard actually came outside to check out what the fuck was all that ruckus about. Thankfully, he spotted the bag P03 dropped during its attempts at not getting shot by a maniac with a shotgun and the old man immediately recognised the items inside. He tells them to quiet down and then very sternly asks P03 where he'd get these. P03 stumbles over his words for a second, he's still recoiling from almost getting hit in the face with a crowbar (Jon has a mean swing for a twink), but he finally composes himself and goes "It's from my dad and uncles, they gave me these when I was a kid. I'm just looking for them." And at that, they all immediately stop and just look at him in a mix of shock and confusion. Howard's voice breaks as he chokes out "P03?" And the bot blinks in surprise, "How do you know my-" but then it hits them; that voice sounded awfully familiar, older, rougher yet still familiar. "Dad?"
P03 runs up to him and the two embrace, sobbing loudly, just happy to see each other again. After a long while, Howard finally lets his kid go, and P03 immediately goes to hug their uncles. The 5 of them go inside and talk for a long while. P03 finds out that his dad was actually diagnosed with cancer lately and was considered not treating it, but now that P03 is here that thought immediately went out the window; they decide that Howard will sell his house and he and P03's uncles will come live with P03. They don't know how well cancer will respond to treatment, but worst case scenario at least the two of them will get a few months together before Howard passes away.
And that's pretty much where the story's at; P03's family live in the town close to his factory and he comes to visit them every day. G0lly also eventually gets introduced to them.

I dont think you did either, would you like to share this SCP au with the class?
AIGHT LETS GO THEN
The 4 scrybes are all senior researchers, all anomalous in their own right. They have a long history together and are constantly at each other's throats. For some ungodly reason, somebody higher up thought it was a good idea to make all four of them work in the same facility. Chaos ensues.
Kaycee is the guard at that facility and Luke is the newly hired janitor. They make quick friends and their favourite hobby is watching the 4 squabble like little kids.
P03:
A sentient parasitic computer chip. Once attached (usually to the back of the neck but other methods are viable as well) it infiltrates the nervous system and seizes control of the body. Once detached, the host is completely braindead.
Either an ex-employee of Anderson Robotics or Prometheus Labs, Inc. Can't decide yet. Now employed by the Foundation.
Very much of the opinion that robots are superior beings and finds the organic life distasteful
In the process of trying to build itself a fully functioning robot body. The higher-ups know of this but don't care as long as it does its job and does it well and doesn't endanger the general public or its coworkers in its pursuit for the new body.
Specialises in the research of all sorts of technological anomalies. A glorified IT guy, really. It will help you if you broke your computer but be an asshole about it and berate you the entire time.
Magnificus:
Deer College graduate, ex-anartist, now (begrudgingly) works for the Foundation
Specialises in anomalous art (duh)
Dabbles in Thaumatology as well though the results are...dubious. Don't ever try to criticise his work though, be it his spells or art, or he'll give you hell at work.
Definitely has an inflated sense of ego.
Grimora:
Site director (god help her)
Functionally dead. A walking corpse.
Her undead status was caused by some sort of incident at work, though she refuses to tell what it was (and every time you ask her she's gonna come up with some weird, over-the-top story) and everybody who might have been present during that time is long dead by now.
Yeah, corpses don't age, so ironically enough she's technically both dead and immortal. She's very old, though refuses to say how old. Her past is shrouded in mystery. It's all classified so good luck trying to dig up any dirt on her, you won't succeed.
Leshy:
Technically dead. Covered in plants and dirt. He might still walk and his heart might beat, but the earth knows where he belongs and is trying to reclaim what's rightfully its.
Possibly the result of the same incident that killed Grimora, but both refuse to elaborate on that fact.
Keeps eluding to being a forest deity or some sort of spirit, but nobody truly knows if he's saying the truth or not. Wouldn't be the weirdest thing to happen here.
Works some administrative job, possibly a department head, because Leshy in formal wear cracks me tf up.
Luke:
Literally just a guy
Why is he here
Either very unlucky or very lucky. Keeps getting into weird, dangerous situations yet comes out mostly unharmed.
Some people are starting to suspect that he might be anomalous because of it because What The Fuck Man
Kaycee:
Just a guard working at Grimora's facility
Buddies with the senior staff (mostly Leshy and Grimora) but only to listen to the gossip between them and enjoy the bullshit going down from a safe distance
Work buddies with two other guards, Royal and Swayer
I was originally thinking about making Leshy an Ethics Committee Laison (yes girl, employ a rude murderous guy to make sure human rights aren't being violated (too much) 💜) but I think I might give that role to somebody else? They'd have their job cut out for them with these 4

Second stoat card au? 👀
Yeah! Second stoat card au!
Basic gist of it is, P03's partner tries to find P03 after he mysteriously goes missing. Searching over the isles, they stumble into Leshy's domain to see if he knew anything of P03's disappearance. Leshy challenges P03's partner to a card duel while they're there and they lose, which results in Leshy turning them into a card.
However, when this happens, P03's partner doesn't turn into death card. They turn into a stoat card. P03 finds them and once they wake up both of them realize who the other is and start to panic. Then they find the stink bug and stunted wolf and general chaos ensues afterward.
During this time, the reader is locked away like the other Scrybes are, keeping both P03 and the reader separated for a long time. (The separation part is actually really angsty.) Once they do reunite after being alone for so long, both parties are overjoyed to finally see the other alright (for the most part).
In the end, they defeat Leshy and manage to return home where they can live in peace for a while. Before the Great Transcendence that we all know and love./lh
But yeah, that's a basic summary of the 'Second stoat card Au'
