My only gripe with Kacy is that they don't go all out with their intimate scenes , like I wanna see ass and hip grabbing, waist squeezing and like pulling each other so close their boobs are pressed up against each other, pushing each other against something, maybe Kate even lifting Lucy up against the wall since she's so tall. We all know how much sex they're having even if they don't show it. I wanna see two women going at it!! I know it's a procedural so they also have to appeal somewhat to the conservative folks but like, you're already breaking the mold with a lesbian couple so why not just have them go all the way? But then I also saw someone say that Yas may not be comfortable with being touched that way, and we're super early in the season so I'm hoping for stuff like that when we see them be more and more established as a couple.

On a related note, I was also hoping for Lucy to slip Kate's pajama top off her shoulders during their couch makeout (in a parallel to Kate slipping Lucy's bomber jacket off her shoulders in the pilot before Lucy stopped everything), or Kate to at least slip her hands under Lucy's shirt to feel her up but it's ok I still have hope for future eps!

Lol anon, this ask made me laugh just cuz the thirst is jumping out 😂 Listen, I don't blame you for wanting to see them quote unquote going at it. I think my own thirsty posts have demonstrated that I would also be happy to see that....but I also just have super different expectations! Like, I was honestly shocked by how far they went with the kiss scenes in 2x01. I thought they were HOT HOT HOT 🥵🔥 They were horizontal in bed in one of them and we literally saw Lucy like MOUNTING Kate in the other one lmao. So to me, for a police procedural on network television, that's going pretty damn far. Also, in comparison to literally everyone else on NCIS: Hawai'i, these two are going AT it! Like, wow, literally no other character is being shown getting even a peck on the lips but Kate is pulling Lucy on top of her??? Twice???

I really don't know if they're going to take their kisses further than what they've done in this first ep. I mean, they might do something with them kissing at a bar or like a callback to the pilot episode kiss (which: sexy, passionate), but I sort of doubt we're gonna get a lot more skin than what we've already gotten or a lot more handsy-ness. Anyway, that's just my opinion! I will certainly be enjoying fanfiction and my imagination to fill in any blanks as necessary lolol

Watching Kacy on screen really gives me the butterflies and smiles. And I’ve figured it’s a lot to with their expressive faces.

The smiles they give to each other are so filled with love. The way their eyes get bright. Both of them. I can’t even explain but it’s something that really shows the love they have for each other and makes it so real.

I love the way Lucy knows she can just be herself with Kate and how Kate navigates between Whistler at work, goofy awkward girlfriend and seductive when it’s the two of them. Cause we know Kate is anxious, and we know Lucy is insecure and then they can just let all that go.

But the way they look at each other, oh the way they do. In this episode alone we get that in like 4 scenes!

They are SO good with the expressions! It feels like that should be the bare minimum, but if you can’t convey emotions without speaking, where do you even go from there? That’s chemistry, right, able to convey your feelings with just a look, appropriate to the characters’ respective personalities, the setting, and the stage of your relationship, with the relief and gratitude of getting to this point. 

And credit to the writing for giving them the time and story to properly showcase it. They got five whole scenes, five!
