MD / MS Admission Process Through Management Quota 2020

Nowadays the MBBS degree graduates are more concerned about completing their post graduate education as the scope for the PG courses are increasing day by day. The student can go for doing either Master of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MD) according to their aspirations. The MD graduates pursue as physicians after the course completion whereas the MS holders work as surgeons as well as physicians in any medical field across the country. The competition for getting admission in top medical colleges for the MD/ MS courses is always tedious as the students are expected to clear the NEET PG examination in order to obtain a seat. The merit list will be created based on the score of the NEET PG examinations and will be called upon for the counseling process. However there are chances of obtaining MD / MS admission through management quota. MCI has approved 5% seats in private institutions and 60% seats in deemed institutions that are to be reserved for the direct MD/ MS admission process 2020. Other than these, the seats that are not filled during the counseling process and the seats of the students who have failed to get admission in required time are all converted into management quota seats. These seats will be filled by the medical institutions itself, thus providing an opportunity for direct admission in PG medical courses. However, the student has to qualify the NEET PG examination with qualifying scores in order to gain a seat in the medical institution under management quota. DMER has released the seat allotment list for UP NEET PG counselling 2020. Candidates can check the result for the first round of NEET PG 2020 counselling by logging into their registered accounts. The counselling for UP NEET PG 2020 will be conducted by Director General, Medical Education and Training, Lucknow. UP NEET PG counselling 2020 will be conducted online in two rounds. Seats left vacant after the conclusion of the second round will be filled in the mop-up round of UP NEET PG 2020 counselling. NEET PG Result 2020 was declared today on the official website of the National Board of Examination (NBE) – natboard.edu.in. The result is available in a PDF format with details of the candidates. The candidates can check their result with roll number.

The NEET PG examination results was conducted for a total of 1200 marks. The cut-off for General/EWS candidates is 366, for General PH candidates – 342, and for OBC/SC/ST candidates, the cut off is 319.

The NEET PG 2020 exam was conducted by National Board of Examinations on January 5, 2020, for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in medical colleges/institutions in India.

NBE will upload the NEET PG 2020 Score Card of each students by February 3,2020. The candidates would be able to access their NEET PG 2020 individual score card from the website once it’s released by the exam authority.
