anyway, hello, hello, hello, new people! I hope you're not expecting more analyses bc I'm just here to like and reblog shit mainly. I have many feelings, especially for Good Omens rn so pls feel free to message me. I am always up for screaming about it this month.

I have like, 10 pending fics and 2 podfics I should edit for Merlin (my bingo card is suffering with only 2 spots filled)...but well, GO S2 derailed my progress, now I have 2 new GO fic ideas that I'm not even making progress in because I've been drowning myself in reading GO fics instead of writing. welp.

ig we'll see how I feel next week if I can manage to upload a new chapter for my current Merlin WIP or a new fic for GO. I'm actually already halfway done with the Merlin WIP and have everything plotted out. hyperfixation is just a bitch sometimes, not letting me leave Good Omens for a single second to go back dammit

also...I'm a bit worried bc Norizuki Kouhei just backed out of playing Mark in this year's Altar Boyz run...I really hope he's doing okay...

Saiyuki Kagekiden 8 - Oasis ~ Here comes the Sanzo depressed party

After leaving behind the grumpiest member of their travelling party, Goku, Hakkai and Gojyo are all into gloomy and depressed mode. You would think getting rid of the short- and nasty-tempered monk would alleviate their travel mood, but no, it’s actually worst and even Hazel goes into sad mode at times. (No wonder at the end they’re all running back to find their all-important Sanzo XD)

This isn’t exactly the first thing that jumped to my mind when I finally got around to watch Oasis... however the more time passed, the more it became noticeable how much more often melancholic/depressed expressions were popping up on a regular basis, and how heavier the minor tonality was weighing into the songs’ melodies - these were a nice surprise and I didn’t expect to enjoy them as much as I did (for once, the “good” guys weren’t completely outsung by the baddies XD).

That being said, and despite the glaring absence of Nii Sensei/Ukoku  and Karahashi Misturu (his “cameo” still made me laugh to tears), the show is still funny with nice bouts of comedy and insolent breaking-the-4th-wall adlibs. :)

Both the afternoon and the evening performances of the 6th of February are still available on Niconama until the end of the month. The gifs are from the afternoon performance.

Continuing with the Third Musical hype, here’s “C’est la vie”~! It’s actually an original song sung by the original characters for this musical~! The third musical introduced two new characters, Alex and Francis, and they get to sing some songs, too~!  I'm lowkey a Norizuki Kouhei fan so hearing him sing and perform in StarMyuMyu made me cry tears of joy. So, Alex is a director and sort of acts as the boys’ mentor/guardian (Team Otori only at first) while they were in Paris~! He has a pretty interesting and slightly intense personality to watch out for so I think that a lot of people will love him~!

I am alive?? sort of. but not really bc I'm dying over Club Slazy again so I'm back just to scream into the void since I doubt anyone would even read this 😂

apparently my ADHD brain forgot to watch the extras from the 2016 live when I got the DVD years ago?? so now I have and it's all great ohmygod the day 1 and 2 chaos with Kimeru. and the audio commentary with the main cast pffft ちょっとエロすぎるからやめてと言ってたww

also I finally got a blu ray player so I just watched the Luv Slazy II recording from the new blu ray set. ohgod. I am still dying. send help. it's so fucking chaotic, very much on brand with this series. but also this is like the transition between 3rd and 4th. it's short since it's a live, but there IS still some plot involving the main story, unlike with the 2016 live where the main plot was already wrapped up. I did think there was something missing at the start of 4th and apparently it was this bit lmao should have known smh at this series. Miura-sensei's writing holy shit I have no words to express the complexity. like. how??? pls teach me your ways, sensei

on that note, does that mean there was some plot during Luv Slazy I?? CLIE?? pls explain???

also I adore the live band to bits. they were fucking BRILLIANT. and Daichan?? holy shit my heart was not prepared to see him.
