Once Light meets you, he thinks that you’re an interesting person. Your optimism and analytical thinking is a nice change of pace compared to the tedium and doldrum of daily life. While that sort of combination is rare and a bit of an oxymoron, he appreciates that you can find the more positive aspects of life even when the world is rotting from the inside out. 

Like you, Light is a bit of a dreamer. Perhaps together the both of you can create a world that is better for future generations? As for selfishness… Well, everyone can be selfish every so often and Light can relate. There are just some things that you have to have and he can’t cast too much judgment. 

Overall, Light is an attentive and considerate partner. He may be childish at times, but he is a great support and even better person to stand behind if you ever get in trouble.
