A vacation to remember

|OPEN Starter| It was a rare thing for him to take time off let alone a proper vacation and yet here he was, getting onto a cruise boat for a trip and going to be off work for a few weeks. At least he had his computer if he was really needed but he wasn’t trying to do much work. He had his bags with him and loaded up into the lobby before making his way to the lobby he could get his room assignment.

Suite 78B. He had a nicer suite to go to and would have a better view out his windows. King sized bed with a sitting room and bathroom. There was a small kitchenette since he’d have main meals in the dining rooms or enjoy them sent to him if he wanted. The wine and sweet tray welcoming him was a gift from the company that was paying for his trip, he chuckled slightly. “Bet they hope this will earn them a favor with me in the next buisness meeting” He mumbled before grabbing his phone and Ids, going to get a tour of the ship so he knew where to go later. Stepping out he nearly walked into someone else. “Ah, I’m so sorry” He caught the other by the arm to keep them from falling. “Are you alright?”

The sun tanned fingers wrapping around the expanse of the brandy he had been nursing. James Fraser was unable to stop the smile that pulled at his lips once the woman with long tressees struggled with the buckle of her saddle along the flank of a mare who seemed to be snorting incredulous at the woman. He hadn’t seen her face though the highlander was honor bound to help anyone particularly a lady in distress. The redhead tried not to spook her by crunching the leaves to loudly though siddling up in silence did not seem any better. After all, her reaction to the dancing sun’s rays and world weary gaze at the world around them. A scott would be one with the world around them. Still, her much smaller form fiddling with little to no accuracy was more amusing then anything else. “Miss, not that you are not capable, but I happen to be the one in charge of the horses back at the camp. I can come to your aid. Not that you are incapable though you have been fighting with that leather for a good hour now. A homing beacon for everyone in a hundred mile radius.”

The day is coming to an end , and i am tired.”

Nikolai rolled his eyes with fond dramatics as he leaned back like a cat against his chair. Undignified in it’s elegance like the prince turned privateer. Even now dressed to the nine’s in this grand room of the palace he called home, a glass of bourbon still swirled in his hands. Ivory fingers wrapped around the soft weight of the glass taking in the figure in front of him. “Don’t be so surprised. You can take a man off the seas, but the waters are still part of him. Besides, how else could I have gotten through that meeting.”

Harwin had been cleaning his blade when the kiss of a warm shadow ran across his back. A smile tugging at the sides of his mouth as he had an idea of just who was walking behind him by the sureness of her feet as they attempted to sneak upon them. Moon light dancing across the ground alighting a small shadow. The wind catching on fabric as it did the curls that momentarily executed the life of his vision. Yet, he would let her keep her masterminded mission by taking care of the steel that was already an acceptable state. A visitor he was quite happy to enjoy the company of. “We might have to work on your plans of attack. Someone as fierce and beautiful as you should certainly have the capabilites to defend herself- or at least cut her strings. What made you seek me out at midnight?”
