Red canisters swung at either side of the woman as long strides carried her towards the gleaming piece of metal in the driveway. After filling them at the neighbour gas station, both had been pulled carefully from the backseat of her plush sports car. The woman couldn't risk a stain on the custom interior, and thanks to the smell, she'd already had to drive around with the windows down for the next week. Manicured fingers lazily unscrewed the cap of the first after placing them down next to the man's car. Grin on her lips as keys are pulled from the back pocket to unlock the vehicle, pulling open the doors before getting to work, saturate the car in the liquid. Empty canisters hurled at the home's front door, and the loud crack of the plastic connecting to the heavy doors rang out in the otherwise silent neighbourhood.

"Better hurry! Don't want you to miss the show!" And as if to punctuate the sentence, she pulls a matchbook from her sports bra. Grin widened as she heard the front door creak open. "Oh, hi, honey!" She waved at the other before lighting a match and flicking it at its gasoline-soaked interior.

so it ws good? the issue was it was so good. and it was getting so tense and everything was coming to the fore. and then we had a whole 1/4 of an episode about this short film. and truly congrats to wat, he deserves everything. but truly. i feel like it was a cliffhanger because my emotions are still entirely unresolved.

There's some dude (derogatory) on FB who is PISSED people are pricing their farm fresh eggs at $2 and $3 a dozen instead of $4+, saying it's "disrespectful" and "undignified" and "I'm trying to feed my kids" like Sir, you are on a Facebook group page bitching about your neighbors egg prices because your pet chickens aren't earning you a living wage and you think it's your neighbors' fault, you do not have a leg to stand on here wrt dignity.

Also half the answers are like "I give them to friends and family free" or "I donate them to food banks" or "I'm making them affordable to folks who might not otherwise be able to get them now that they're so expensive in the store" and "if you think you're going to turn a profit keeping backyard chickens you have been wildly misled" and so on, and so forth, and I'm so living for it.

and I can tell you right now, he did NOT like my answer of "if you're trying to feed your kids, I hear eggs are edible."

#chickens #like buddy you are never going to actually make a profit #and if by some miracle you do #it's going to be VERY SMALL #Considering the money you put into building or buying a coop #plus feed and bedding and equipment (waterers feeders perches etc) costs #egg cartons and enrichment and gas to go get the feed #the cost you (personally) probably put into building the egg stand you mentioned #a 50lbs bag of feed will feed 12 adult chickens for 8 days #12 chickens generally lay 6-12 eggs per day #usually less in the fall and may even stop in winter #a 50lb bag of feed is usually $12-15 #and you wasted the first 6 months going eggless until they were old enough to lay #and that doesn't factor in oyster shell or anything else you may need to do for them #like worming or treating for coccidia or anything #and doesn't take into account your time #like asjh;dsfkgdh you really thought you were gonna make a buck doing this??? #wank for ts

Hi yeah just thinking about swap aus and how I would do in each of the girls positions. Like with marcy I would probably actually behave pretty similar to marcy though probably mentally break down a bit at being in another world. With Anne I would be dead by day two eaten by a grubhog. Pr have eaten a poisonous mushroom cause I thought it was a dandelion.

With sasha uh my kinda unstable headspace really shows because like I feel like I would have just maybe killed myself after a week or two? Idk why this was my first thought because like I wouldn't I would cave immediately and then die to the herons probably. But like my first thought was "I would probably kill myself from going crazy. Like smash my head in with a brick or slash myself with a sharpened bone and watched as I bled out and died from blood loss."

I'm not actively suicidal just kinda apathetic to my own death?
