WELCOME BACK! This first week of work has been exhausting because it’s been a lot of time spent on and off hours preparing everything. Between work and my kiddo not falling asleep until 10:30 at night (thanks to nap time at preschool!), I haven’t really had much me time? Hobbies have been entirely non-existent this week. But I’m hoping things will start to stabilize over the next few weeks once I’ve gotten situated with everything…..

Heh, another late response from me cuz life is crazy, but thank you! I'm really hoping things mellow out work-wise at least, once I get situated. It's a lot of work upfront that's leaked into my personal life at night because my in-office hours are nearly completely filled up with doing therapy. So familiarizing myself with my clients' files and their lesson plans, updating my calendars, creating spreadsheets for report due dates, etc... it all happens off-hours. Once I'm familiar with it all and have everything organized though, my evenings will free up because that initial leg work will be done (which will make my work later on much easier... hopefully). As for the kiddo... that's a tough one. Either make him wake up early with me (like 6am) and hope he's tired enough to fall asleep earlier (even with a nap during the day) or just let him stay up until 10:30 every night and go to bed with him. He's pretty chill in the evening, so I can do my thing on my computer usually while he plays and watches stuff on his iPad - but it's not as good as the uninterrupted time I'd get when he's asleep.

It is what it is! Life is like this sometimes... everything seems to happen at once. Just gotta take things in stride and figure them out a little bit at a time.
