To the lovely KH blog that I follow that asked why Kingdom Hearts is trending, I would like you to know just how much of my hate you have. I looked up what's recent on the Kingdom Hearts tag and you know what I found?
The earth shattering certainty that not only is Soriku canon but is also an allegory using Jungian psychology to perfectly illustrate the need to accept and find balance with oneself. And that, contrary to all my prior held beliefs that Sora is pure cinnamon bun levels of light and purity, I should have trusted the openings, the games, and the keyblade masters Terra and Aqua who state that it's Riku that guided them to destiny islands and also implying that Sora may be a big darkness villain at some point.
Don't even get me started on Roxas, or how I never put together that "Kairi arrived on the night of a meteor shower" means that Namine COULDN'T have been replacing Kairi in the memory she gave to Sora and Repliku in CoM about the promise to always protect her.
So, once again. To that lovely blog who asked the question that sent me down this rabbit hole 2 HOURS AGO!!!! Thank you.

Don't really do the whole writing prompts thing but, after all the ones I've seen filling my head with ideas it's the one I didn't see that got my attention. There are so many miscommunication prompts based on the love square, I mean look at these two/four it's basically their entire dynamic. Ones where Chat Noir doesn't realise him and LB are dating, ones where Marinette is sure Adrien can't like her in THAT way while he's signing every note with love hearts and doodling her name in everything he owns. It's so easy.
But I now propose the opposite. An Adrien who knows EXACTLY why Marinette started stuttering after the umbrella scene. An Adrien who sits through the confession to Buttercup because all this worry is clearly stressing her out. An Adrien who is perfectly aware that Marinette doesn't hate him during Puppeteer 2 but did NOT expect that kiss to screw with him as much as it did. An Adrien who cares for Marinette dearly, knows the meaning behind every blush or stammer, but can't give her what she needs because of his love for Ladybug. An Adrien that plays dumb because it's the only thing he can do to not embarrass her further.

I know it goes beyond saying at this point (and yes I mean beyond and not without) but Union Cross and Dark Road did something so amazing that I don't think I've ever seen pulled off successfully in other games. Making an OC canon.
Now I bring this up because I just got done rewatching some old reaction videos if a let's player who is my gold standard of commentary, voice over and ad libs. Nicob. Just gotten to the part where the darkness reveals itself and my mind flashed forward a bit.
Before I go on did anyone else forget that the Master of Masters used the leaders, specifically Ventus, as sacrificial lambs? The darkness says it picked Ven because that's what it saw in the Book of Prophecies. We later find out that the MoM was well aware someone was watching over his shoulder and write what would eventually screw the darkness over. Part of which involved controlling Ventus.
Anyway my initial point. In most games where you have an OC trying to fit into established canon you get two responses "OMG I'm with all my favourite characters doing amazing stuff!" Or, the one that I'm saddened people experience, "why am I this random no name faceless person? Let me be the hero!" (Not sure if that says something about people with "main character syndrome" or if it's just the difference between liking the characters or the story/violence.)
The kingdom hearts mobile game though? Sidestepped this perfectly. At first it was so far in the past it didn't really matter how canon we were, besides there were a bunch of other characters that we'd never met before that were just rife with new potential theories. But eventually it ends and, having just come off KH3 where Xehanort puts his heart into everyone? The clips off the upcoming dark Road lead everyone to the same conclusion. "Our created character is Xehanort? Wow we screwed up, should never have chosen reincarnation.
Fast forward a couple of months and we are going through Dark Road, rolling our eyes whenever Xehanort brings up memories or lessons from union cross. Like "we get it, we know what you're thinking about, we're having the same thought. This is just like what happened in Union Cross, we did play the same game after all."
And then what happens? We get to the end of the game having been told how empathic Xehanort is the entire time and... Nomura pulls the damn rug out from under us. "Oh don't be silly, you didn't become Xehanort that would be ridiculous. Instead you're just the one raising him on destiny islands and may be important in missing link."
Just like that everyone accepted it. "Oh thank God we aren't Xehanort." "Another KH game it looks so good for mobile!" And none of these reactions, or at least none that I saw, were the incredibly valid "wait. We raised Xehanort? Wow we REALLY screwed something up."

Okay it took a while, and devolved from a story you could read while listening to the song, to a story inspired by the song. But I still like it. My earlier post still stands btw, if you can guess the song/animatic that is behind this story you can force me to make a gacha video for Faybon for it. If you wanted to, you don't HAVE to do that.a
He could feel the darkness pounding away at the mask he wore. He could practically hear the flapping of the Akuma wings echoing inside his brain as he struggled to calm his breathing. He'd pulled away from everyone the moment the thoughts started. It was easy, nobody ever noticed when he disappeared, he'd done it too often for them to be concerned anymore. He had found a spot to be alone and collapsed to the ground, burying his face into his knees. He was used to being on his own, he couldn't operate if he didn't have this peace.
Pushing the darkness back he tried to think of his friends, the bubbling Rose as she smiled just to see him participating. He thought of the kids at the orphanage, living and laughing and him being there to help them enjoy it as much as possible.
“Yet who can say they'd be any different if you weren't here? The timeline must stay the same, remember?”
Just like that his throat tightened and he struggled to swallow, he needed a drink, why did he always think like this? Why couldn't he enjoy this happiness? Why did he always come back to what Bunnyx had told him? That an entire life had already been lived by all those people and she had seen it. Nothing had changed, she had made sure of that with all her interference… and once again the anger hit.
Sure future Alix had said she never regretted bringing him back here. That she enjoyed the time with him explaining what other timelines with him had become, that she'd correct things a million more times if it meant he would stay with the rest of their friends. She was doing so much for him when she didn't have to. When he messed everything up because he thought he knew better than the time traveler. That he could fix things if he just had a Miraculous or if he let himself get akumatised or if he confronted Gabriel to get him to look after Adrien better.
Still… he wished he could have kept Talli… he'd have promised to never use her powers if he could have just had someone to talk to. Someone he could vent to, who he could be honest with about everything. Seeing the little kwami, forced into being as yet another one of ShadowMoths ploys to get his wish… had made his heart ache. He could only imagine how that timelines version of him felt as he took her in, named her, cared for her and kept her safe. His first secret… even as Ladybug asked him to keep a lookout should he spot anything he had kept the Miraculous covered.
Bunnyx had shown him all that and more. How Talli had begged him to hand her over to Ladybug once they realised her powers were incomplete. How she couldn't keep him safe while transformed… he'd just smiled. He was finally able to help in a way only he could. He could take over for Ladybug or Chat without Shadow Moth ever noticing, thus keeping their identities safe. He could pretend to be any of the other Miraculous holders even if Ladybug couldn't get away to grab them. Any pain was worth it if he could help them, that's all he’d ever wanted…
Then he pushed it too far. Pushed ShadowMoth too far. Being backed into a corner the purple villain did the only thing he could think of, he created a sentimonster whose sole purpose was to beat Ladybug and Chat Noir. Then he akumatised it to give it all the limitless power it could need. Destroying the object did nothing at that point, its power stretched beyond that now, it crossed into Bunnyx’s realm and every possible timeline it could before she shut it down. All to anchor itself… To win she had to reset time again, go back before ShadowMoth got the idea to create Talli because that's as far back as the akumatised sentibeast had gotten.
But the moment she opened a burrow it was there… so that version of me went to stop it. He pushed Talli well past the limit…. Which meant there was no protection from what the beast did. Again and again he transformed to hold it back until Bunnyx hit reset… and being unable to see what that version had done to himself was the only thing Bunnyx had been grateful for… if even having powers meant he couldn't make a difference without it all going terribly wrong then why did he keep trying? Why did he keep putting himself out there when his own darkness became so hard to hold back? One slip up and he'd become an Akuma impossible to stop… he knew that… Bunnyx had shown him how that had happened many times before.
“You okay there little paradox?” Speaking of time travelers… Faybon sighed and lifted up his head more than ready to see the redhead’s teasing grin beneath her bunny ears. What he hadn't expected was to see the vast whiteness that was the burrow surrounding him. “You seemed like you needed a little space.” She said, smiling more softly than he ever recalled her doing before.
With the fear of an Akuma no longer hovering above his head the mask he was wearing broke. The hateful feelings swarming now that he was in the place outside of time, the place that proved just how little his wants mattered. “Why Alix? Why me? Why do all this for someone who’s not supposed to be here.” His voice cracked as he said it. “It's not like I'm close to present you, so you don't get anything out of it.”
“Fluff. Counterclockwise.” He looked up as the transformation ended, staring at the future form of his classmate as all the windows around them went still. “There is a method to my madness you know.” She said as she took a seat next to him, leaning against the blank wall that didn't really seem to be there. “My powers are a last resort for a reason, I don't normally get do overs if something goes wrong, I'm not like Viperion. Sure I can reverse damage and change the timeline but what I saw? What I experienced? It all gets erased, I'm the only one who remembers it all.”
“And?” Faybon asked slowly, eyes widening in surprise as she handed the pocket watch over to him.
“Take it from me, I know exactly what type of misery you're going through, being unable to change things for the better because there is a timeline I have to stick to.” For the first time Faybon could ever remember Alix looked vulnerable. She looked scared. Sure he’d seen Bunnyx look like that when he was shown the events of Chat Blanc but Alix herself? Was completely new to him. “I've just had several more years to grow numb to it.”
“That can't be healthy…” he said softly, still not taking the Miraculous from her.
“No… it's not. But I have to keep going. I have to keep the timeline on track.” She tried to smile but Faybon had been around enough girls on the verge of crying to see the tears she was holding back. “And every time I need to change things it's because you have to help your friends and I get hit with that same regret that I can't let it happen.” She held out the watch more earnestly this time. “I won't undo what I did with you Faybon, I can't be the only one remembering the type of person you are. I couldn't bear to talk to minibug or kitten Noir and have them suddenly not know your name.” She swallowed and Faybon knew she was feeling the same tightness in her throat as he had. “But if you did it? If you went back right before I dropped you off and placed yourself somewhere else? In some other time? I'd forget too.”
Reaching out he took the watch from her and saw her slump down further, but it wasn't from relief. “You never answered my question Alix. Why do you go through all this for me?” He asked as he stood up.
“Because you reminded me that time is just a bunch of pit stops. That you could keep the end destination the same while still making the journey more bearable.” Alix took a deep breath and looked up at him. “That if we get caught up in what we can't change we stop trying to see what we can, and at that point why even bother living.”
While Faybon understood the sentiment there was something about her smile that seemed… odd. “Who gave you that advice?” He asked, taking a shot in the dark.
She chuckled and gave him a smirk. “You did. The first time I came back to undo a timeline you'd made.” Her smirk widened at his shock. “You were quick to agree once you saw what had happened, the relationships between everyone were all types of messed up. But you just shrugged and said you'd try something else.” She continued before he could voice his thoughts. “I’d done so much to try and make it work, before finally accepting that it couldn't, that hearing you say that kind of made me snap. I was so stressed out that you'd hate me and want nothing to do with me and here you were saying you'd just mess up something else?”
“I take it there's a reason I don't remember this?” Faybon asked as he passed the Miraculous between his hands, thankful that Fluff had stayed quiet so far.
“You waited until I calmed down and then gave me the advice I just gave you. After which you told me to go back earlier so you wouldn't remember the conversation.” Now Faybon was really confused, it was rare when he asked for his memory to be erased. Even rarer for Bunnyx to agree. “You said it was because you didn’t want to remember the timeline I showed you,” she smirked again and stood up while pointing over his shoulder, “it's why I kept you from that window over there.” He didn't bother to look. “But I think we both know that wasn't the actual reason was it?” Alix’s voice softened again and Faybon realised just how big a weight had been placed on her shoulders with the Miraculous.
He didn't hesitate in answering her. “If I had known you felt like that I would never have let myself breakdown like I just did.” He said firmly. “Knowing there's a chance you could see it as you peered through the timelines I would have kept to myself even harder. The last thing I'd want to do is cause you any more pain.” Faybon took one more glance down at the Miraculous before handing it back to her. “I think we both can get a little too lost in our heads. So what do you say we push past our faults and imagined monsters and keep being the bad asses we are?”
Alix chuckled before transforming again. “Oh I agree one of us is awesome. But both?”
Rolling his eyes, Faybon turned to the window he came in from, his fears and worries laid to rest for now. “If I kept you on track all these messed up timelines later I think I must have done something right don't you?” He asked as he waited for her to open it up so he could step through.
Always needing the last word Bunnyx's voice carried through the burrow just before it closed. “Like I said, I agree with you, go cause some more trouble king.”
Faybon stared at the wall where the burrow had been in shock before he started to laugh. He’d thought of Bunnyx as overbearing many times before but he couldn't deny having also felt safe. Having someone who would always be there for you was something special, he just hoped she knew the reverse was also true. Shaking his head he returned to his friends, humming a little tune to himself.

Okay. So something amazing (read: positively insane and I hate it) is happening with my post season 5 fic that has never happened with my writing before. Normally I'm of one of two minds when it comes to writing. I have a basic scenario and I just really want to throw a bunch of different events in regardless of how they'd fit together or how much sense they'd make (which is why I quickly pick up a time loop idea, spin it around a few times and then chuck it away because I know I'll never want to put it all down. Yes I have a plot bunny where Faybon gets groundhog day'd *coughs* month *cough* but you'll never see it.)
The second is generally what my longer running stories operate on. I have a start in mind, I have an end in mind and I take forever trying to meet all the tourist destinations along the way. Now a while ago I joked about how I needed to move the entire route because of a stray thought I had. It happens, that's normal, I'm a slave to my creative urges no biggie.
No, the problem is what JUST happened. Where my brain just went "hey you know that big twist ending you had that I already made twistier? How it basically goes like this?" *Brain proceeds to list our all the story beats that lead to the big twist.*
Me: "yeah, I admit it's a neater twist. What about it?"
Brain: "and you know how you're about to write another story beat of that right this moment?"
Me, suddenly a little worried: "Yeah?"
Brain: "well what if the story beat DIDN'T go like that and instead THIS *presents new idea* was the big ending twist."
Me, extremely thankful that I haven't written anything that would contradict this yet: "oh this is going to screw so many things up..." *Starts writing with that new ending in mind.*

In the meantime.
Have this little one off I wrote a while ago regarding the alliance rings and why I think they're ridiculous when given the context of what this show has already shown is capable with regards to scientific advancement. Story under the cut.
"I told my daddy I had to have one as soon as it came out." Chloe was showing off the new Alliance ring that had just come out. They were a lot cheaper than most people had expected for being such a technological leap. "It has everything you could ever need." The class had no choice but to sit and listen to her. "Please Alliance. What's on my schedule today?"
After she asked, the hologram of Adrien appeared next to an image of a to do list. "You have a manicure at 4:30 pm followed by a planned shopping trip." It really did sound like the real thing.
"That's right, I nearly forgot I switched shifts today, that would have been embarrassing." Everyone turned towards the back to see Faybon staring at his phone, seeming to ignore Chloe completely.
Chloe scoffed in annoyance before carrying on. "It has an in-built GPS and a step counter."
"Oh I didn't realise I could cut through that alleyway, that would shave around 300 steps off of my commute." Faybon cut in again, almost innocently, as people around him started to snicker.
Chloe was glaring at him now, not that he seemed to notice. "It also allows you to play games."
The entire class turned as one to look at Faybon who seemed quite disappointed. "Darn I forgot to update Miraculous Crush yesterday, guess I'll do it now." The laughter was getting louder now.
"Best of all, it allows me to see my Adrikins whenever I want." Even as Chloe finished her sentence a phone started ringing.
Adrien pulled it out of his pocket and then turned back. "Something wrong Faybon?" Even he had a hard time keeping the smile off of his face.
"Sorry Adrien." The boy in question said looking up. "The face time on my phone has been a little wonky. I just wanted to double check." Only then did he look towards the front. "Oh hey Chloe." He said as if he'd just noticed her. "Is that the new Alliance ring? What does it do?" The whole room erupted in laughter then. Even Sabrina had a hard time holding back her giggles.
"Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous." Chloe stormed out in anger and nobody was shocked when she reappeared later, akumatised. Nearly everyone agreed that it was worth it though.

*deep traumatic sigh*
Okay guys... I think it's time I introduced you to someone...
I'd like you all to meet Caleb Talont. My first OC, the basis for pretty much every OC that followed and my first foray into fanfiction. He was basically what I came up with before I got over my childish bashing and "fix all the problems" phase. The cool edgy guy with the powers of darkness yet is still kind and lovable. I'll admit it. He was a Mary Sue. I won't call him a self-insert, I started a story with a self-insert premise and oh boy did I quickly learn I should not be trusted with power.
But hold a wand to my head and threaten the killing curse? I might admit that Caleb is who I wanted to be. Past tense. I'm in a better place but Caleb is still the dark moody mofo he is. I don't blame him, I put him through hell.
Why am I bringing him up now? Well I was 13 when I first came up with Caleb, at least that's when my first post of him was, considering how obsessed I was with fanfiction before that point? And how many times I remember throwing him into Winx and WITCH? I may have been even younger. I mention how young I was to bring up how long it's been. I haven't touched Harry Potter fanfiction in what feels like decades. I haven't seen any of the original movies or reread the books in what I know has been a decade.
So, when I tell you, that seeing a SuperCarlinsBrothers video asking whether or not the Marauder's Map can lie? Well... I hope you'll believe when I say I did not expect that part of my brain, Caleb Talont himself, to wake from his coma and go "hold my butterbeer. I've got this."
I really, REALLY, like giving magic logical analysis and breakdowns. Not in a "magic is science we don't understand" type of bull that lead to stories where muggles proved they couldn't be trusted with the knowledge of magic existing, kind of way. But in a "it's all around us, it follows general trends and here are some guidelines to make using it easier but it's magic. The skys the limit just don't go too nuts too quickly okay?" Kind of way.
One way is "it's physics with extra laws." The other is "rotate your wand like this? Fire. Flick it like this? Water. Okay now watch what I can do without the wand."
I know what I find more fun. Magic should be poetry. It should be art. Sure it has a rhythm and some kind of structure but it doesn't NEED to."
Anyway. With that done. I will not be restarting any Caleb stories or moving them to AO3. I am however now open for any Harry Potter views debates or opinions you can throw at me.
I still have not watched the CarlinBros video by the way.

Posted an interlude instead of a next chapter because I realised how good I am at building stuff up if I give myself room to do it. Now I am stuck thinking of the best way to start the next chapter because I used the build up planned for the start of the next chapter at the start of the interlude.
... Nevermind just got an idea. Thank you all for the help. Will ask again in future.

Wow people feed on salt
Im just going to put this out there, there are much better blogs to follow for your dose of ml salt, TA based or otherwise. I've already said once that I don't want my blog to be salt focused so unless there are any more big moments I just need to comment on I doubt there will be much from me in that regard.
On the flipside I will still do my best to defend Chloe for what she was originally, Zoe for what she could have been, and Marinette for being a lonely girl thrown into the role of hero... All while ignoring Alya because bias is a real hard thing to move passed and she did not make a good first impression on me.
I've given my piece on Zoe before but maybe I should dedicate some time to Chloe. Maybe a story of two.

Oh son of a... I'm trying to sleep here brain!
Anyway. I just got a brainwave about Felix and how he could possibly go from the evil little psycho we saw in Felix, to the same type of traitorous Psycho in Strike Back, to what is more or less a decent antihero in emotion and Pretension. I think Ive figured it out. He's not changing sides or becoming nicer, he's relaxing. What do I mean?
Well let's look at his first appearance? He's cold, insults all of Adrien's friends and is willing to side with HawkMoth over a piece of jewellery. Something everyone just thought to be the ring his mother wanted at the time, which seriously? Lady has some guts demanding he hand over his wedding ring a year after she thought her sister died. However you look back with the assumption that he knows about the peacock miraculous at this time? Then that's clearly what he's after. It makes a lot more sense too since we see how easy it is for him to just steal the ring right of Gabriel's finger.
So what's the deal with him and Adrien's friends? Initially you could see it as him being like Lila and seeking to cut his cousin off from everyone but if you consider how rude he is to Chloe? I think his actual reasoning becomes a bit clearer. Felix cares about his cousin that much we know, he's willing to undo his first win against Gabriel and Ladybug simply because Adrien is upset at him. He wants his cousin to be happy but Felix's methods are just a little too extreme. So, in order to make sure Adrien isnt being used by any of his other friends like he's being used as a sentimonster, Felix yells at them. Anyone who ditches Adrien clearly wasn't really a friend and anyone who stays is worthy to remain in his perfect world.
This is where the next part of Felix's overall plan needs explaining and, if I'm in anyway right? Is actually kind of genius. So really quickly let's go through Felix's goals again okay? Goal one, make sure no sentimonsters can be used and abused. Goal two, make sure neither his or Adrien's life is in danger from another holder of the peacock, goal three, make sure Adrien, and later Kagami, are not held prisoner by someone holding their amok. Now the first two can be solved pretty easily by getting his hands on the Miraculous which he tries and eventually accomplishes on his third attempt. His last goal? Can only succeed if Kagami and Adrien hold their own amok or if the people who do have it are no longer a problem. We saw this in emotion. But if the sad and indignant teen we saw at the end of Emotion and beginning of pretension is the real Felix then why was he so cold and distant to begin with?
I think there are two potential answers for this. The first is that he didn't want any distractions while trying to complete his mission so he just brushed everyone off. The second? I think shows just how much like Gabriel Felix is. I think he always planned to get rid of his, whether through the wish or by his own hands. Likewise I think he always intended to make a world where him and his cousin could be free. It wouldn't matter at that point if Adrien was happy with Felix or not, so long as Adrien was actually happy. But I'll come back to this in a bit.
Next we have the betrayal of ladybug, something that, in retrospect, wasn't entirely necessary. As Flairmiddable he offered Gabriel the ring and the rest of the Miraculous for the Peacock. He hands over the ring and receives the peacock before he uses the power of the dog to fetch the yoyo. At that point he could have fled, there was no reason to hold up his end of the bargain anymore and Felix seems like the type who would go back on his word if necessary. However, here's where I think the genius comes in. In handing over the Miraculous Felix guarantees two things. The first is that Gabriel will have so much power that he wont need the peacock and instead will refocus on Ladybug and Chat Noir. The second thing? He keeps Ladybug and Chat Noir desperate to get the miraculous back and unable to dedicate to much time to him. With one move he gets his enemies to focus solely on each other and leave him alone to plan. He makes himself the lesser threat.
This brings us back to emotion and we see the finale of Felix's plan play out. Yes he wanted to make a wish using the miraculous but it wasn't essential. He'd already succeeded in wiping out everyone who may have been an obstacle. Plus he knows about Gabriel's hideout. Who's to say he didn't plan on going to retrieve the other miraculous once Adrien and Kagami warmed up to the idea? If he thought he'd only need a month before he could get them back then I can understand why he'd give them up in the first place, the ends justify the means and all that. Just like how Gabriel thinks.
However, as we all saw, Felix realised something in emotion. Even if he had been able to bring Marinette Adrien would still be upset with him, even if he explained everything. That's when Felix understands, he may have been alright getting what he wanted at any cost, freeing Adrien by wiping out all who would use him, but because if that cost, what he wants won't happen. What's the point in making Adrien happy by cleansing the world if doing so is guaranteed to make Adrien miserable? So he does what Gabriel should have done in Evolution. He steps back, gives up on what he strove so hard for, and undoes all the damage he caused.
After that, and seeing what Marinette was willing to do for Adrien, I think Felix switches gears. He believes Adrien will be safe, happy and brave with Marinette by his side, so he follows after the other sentichild that seems to be struggling with that a bit more. To... Mixed results.

Okay Fine!
I guess I'm reading Drowning in plain sight by @buggachat now. Not like I was trying to avoid it because the kitty has suffered enough but it seems like I have no choice since it keeps popping up on my Dash!

Brain storm!
Guys, something just hit me. Something I am amazed I never considered before and, if accurate, may actually make Gabriel a bit more redeemable. He won't be because he's still evil and insane but... Still.
Anyway, the wish. What are the things we all know, for certain, about it? Well first we know it requires the fusion of the ladybug and black cat miraculous. Whether it triggers immediately after the fusion takes place, requires a chant, or something else entirely, we have no idea.
Secondly, we know it requires an equal exchange. Master Fu tells us in Robustus that if Markov were to become real someone else would lose their humanity. Ladybug tells Chat in passion that the cost would be equal to the reward.
Ephemeral taught us three things. That making a wish requires the entire universe to be destroyed and recreated, that Kwami's remember the event and that it has at least happened once before (as indicated by the "not again" when they saw the light.)
Now we know Gabriel desires the first and doesn't seem to care about the other facts, he may not even know about the last two. We know the wish operates under the law of equivalent exchange thanks to Master Fu, despite never being an official guardian he has held the post for over a century and a half so I think we can trust him, so any positive wish must have a negative outcome as well to balance it. Therefore bringing Emilie back to life would mean someone else has to die.
Now, here's my question. What if Gabriel wished to take Emilie's place? Sass makes the comparison to rewriting your notes in blue instead of red and, as stated, someone would have to become inhuman for a robot to be human. At no point have we been told that the cascade effect of a wish applies. That anything else changed would need balanced as well. Sure there'd be no more HawkMoth but that doesn't mean someone else gets their hands on Nooru, just that he ends up staying in the safe as Emelie and Nathalie raise Adrien. No HawkMoth means no Mayura which means Nathalie wouldn't be sick. Somebody else wouldn't get sick suddenly because, as far as we know, that's not how this works.

Okay so out of curiosity I also looked at Amelie's name which simply means to work. No surprise but Emilie means to strive. Then I looked at Graham de Vanily. While Graham can mean grey house or gravely homestead vanily doesn't seem to have a readily available meaning. You could either equate it to vanity or vanilla for all I know. However since Amelie is a lady it might just mean the house of Vanily. Which I suppose you could judge as either the house of the vain or the house of the plain depending on which Vanily you choose.
More interesting is the name Felix got from his father Colt Fathom. Now most people would see Colt and think of the gun or a young horse. However it also has a Latin origin of lame which I think is an understatement for Felix's father. Then we get Fathom which, while being a measurement of depth could also mean understanding. Felix Fathom translates to lucky understanding. If that's not a hand wave on how he found out about being a sentimonster I don't know what is.
Oh and Agreste means rustic by the way. So I'd say that says a lot about Gabi's starting life huh? Although that would make Adrien Agreste Rich rustic which... Doesn't quite make sense. Then again he does have more middle names but the only one we know is Athanase which means.... Immortal.... Seriously? Dear kwamis Gabriel have some restraint!

Okay trying to sleep in the middle of an episode was not a good idea. To put things in perspective Yor has only just been introduced and has only now met Loid. He called her pretty and I've paused it where the subtitles say her line is "does that mean..." No matter what she says next I am going to lose my goddamn mind because Yor is so innocent and naive despite being a cold hearted killer it is unbearable. Seriously, how can Anya take so much after her mother despite not having even met the woman yet?

Oh as for the other thing I realised. Plagg wiped out the dinosaurs. The inevitable question this brings up? What the hell was he eating? There sure as hell weren't any cheese makers or sugar refiners in the time of the dinosaurs. I mean there is the obvious follow up of whether you can actually blame a kwami for using its power without a holder if there's nobody around to be a holder, I mean what came first? The Miraculous or the kwamis? Anyway. Since Tikki and Plagg have clearly both existed long before their preferred foodstuffs I would like to reiterate my previously held opinion.
The idea that Kwami's can't fall in love is absolute crap. If they can obsess over a foodstuff that didn't exist for 90% of their lifetime and grow more attached to a holder in less than a year than they did with their previous holders? Of course that's focused more on Plagg then Tikki but still. They sure as hell can fall in love.
So yes, I don't care if they're little magical creatures with the powers of gods, like love and hate are all emotions they can clearly experience. Cutting out romance just because Tikki said they couldn't? I call bull.

A pattern.
Not sure if anyone else has noticed this (they probably have) or if I'm completely off base (I very well might be) but the pornbots seem to operate on a schedule. As someone who has one blog opened in the app and the other in browser I think Ive seen this enough to be confident about it. Whenever I get a notification that a bot has followed me on the app, I can check the browser and see that one has followed me there too.
Now I'm not sure what this means for Tumblr getting rid of them but at least I know now that if I get followed on one account but not on another? Chances are it's not a bot.
