Poppy gets a Meltan wallpaper! It's small, it's cute, and while AIdrés knows that it's not technically a 'baby' pokemon - it's a bit of squishy, semi-solid metal with a hexagonal nut on top - it's easily anthropomorphised and can be perceived as one. He's certain that Poppy will appreciate this choice.

Unfortunately he is lacking a lot of information on where Meltan live native, so he couldn't actually advise anyone on how or where to go about catching one.

“She confuses the fuck out of me. Look, I try. I make an effort to get on her good side. I ignore the looks she gives me when I hug her boyfriend or stand in the same vicinity of him. I want to like her, I want to at the very least stop being so fake nice to her and try and get to know her. Poppy seems like a chill person - with everyone eles. And I know she is nice and smiles but there is something there that bugs me. You can tell when someone is being real and when they aren’t. So how is it possible that she is both fake and real with me at times? That shit is confusing. Hate me or like me. I honestly don’t care which you choose but could you just decied already. I’m getting whiplash from all of this back and forth with her. It’s fucking annoying.”

3. What is the worst pain they’ve ever experienced?

as a somewhat rebellious young teen, eli spent hours every week locked in heated arguments with his tyrannically militant father— over anything. his school uniform’s tie wasn’t straight. his hair, nearly shaved off entirely, was too messy. he ate too slowly. he ate too quickly. 

the memory is vague, but if forced to recall he may describe the feeling of a vice grip against the back of his neck, or the impact of concrete against his forehead— though he couldn’t tell you about the thirty seconds spent unconscious, or the scream that emitted from his mother from the top of the basement stairs. on the rare occasions in which he does return home, he unconsciously avoids them.

now the scar is nearly gone— but if you run your fingers through his hair, you may feel a little ridge on the back of his head, right at the slope of his crown.

5. List 3 fears; one “surface level” fear, one “repressed” fear, and one “deep dark” fear.

eli knew a guy once— a POW— who came back with horror stories about some “crazy fucks” pretending to bury him alive so he’d spill some intel. he still shivers when he thinks about that one for too long.

slightly below the surface, he is only semi-aware of his fear of his father. when asked, he may praise the man– particularly his impressive military career-- and he may even make off-hand comments like he did what he had to, but… still, there are those moments when he wakes up in the middle of the night, freezing cold sweat dripping down his back, as another memory floats up to the surface.

the fear that eli himself isn’t even aware of is his all-encompassing fear of losing autonomy. he grasps onto whatever he can in order to feel as though he has any sense of power— even if it brings him closer and closer to the label tyrant. 

one, brave therapist attempted to pointed out the connection between these layers, prompting eli to cancel all future appointments. the nightmares worsened severely after that.

11. Do they have any vices?

eli loves himself a good drink and has been known around the vasile house to carry a mug of scotch.

It’s no secret that Richie loves his family very much, so much so that he’s willing to date someone just because his older sister made an off hand comment, so much so that he’s pretty chill with the fact that his older brother almost burned his room down, and all that. His siblings and his cousins are all he has left and he’ll go down with the ship when it comes to it. Anyway, hc is sometimes he calls Amelia ‘mom’ to make fun of her, but really, he just doesn’t respect anyone else at such a high regard. She’s their leader, their captain, and he doesn’t like to dwell about his parents too much so if anyone asks, Amelia’s ‘mom.’

💩 for a ridiculous headcanon

Richie has a small scar on the underside of his chin. It’s barely visible but if somebody does notice, he likes to say that he got it after a bar brawl. In reality, he got it after a drunken binge in college where he wandered into an  empty playground. He tried jumping off the swing set and while he tried to get back on his feet, it smacked right back on his face.

10. greatest regret?

Hana’s greatest regret is not being able to keep her loved ones safe from harm. in a sense she feels useless sometimes.  Chaeyoungs greatest regret though is not being able to protect her eldest brother.

Nope. both hana and chaeyoung have never been married before. though they both do want to get married.

30. are they religious or spiritual?

while hana is not religious, she does go to church sometimes. whereas chaeyoung is a christian. ever since she was a kid, she had been going to church every sunday and even joined the youth group at the church she went too.
