Did some portraits for a bunch of Superverse characters because I kinda like how that worked out for my SW ocs. I was going to draw them masked/in their suits as well, but unfortunately IRL stuff came up so I can't push my wrist on arts.

As for the 15 characters, they're a bit of a random assortment, based on which ones had some form of portraits established. Some have a decent amount of thought put into them already (the top five (aka The Unbroken), Liz, Emil, Riley to some extent) whereas others are very much work-in-progress (Harper and Rafael, Adie), and others are barely more than a concept (Lara, Luna, Vulpine). Plus, of these fifteen Mink is the only villain, which says a lot about my ongoing problem of making too many heroes and not enough villains for them to fight, lol.

A bunch of Fusemons I've been picking away at over the past month, for the same project as these guys from last year. Again, the goal was for them to look like cohesive designs that could stand on their own, and not just "Pokemon A with bits from Pokemon B".

This year I drew about 3 things and nothing else because wrist injuries suck. If you stick this one behind last year's entry you can track exactly how devastating the past 1.5 year have been for my ability to art. I'm having such a good time 👍 (/s)

APRIL: [sketches one & sketches two] Couple of sketches of my FR dragons. MAY: [Spire Climber]Mermay (all 9 days of it), but I also did this WIP and I felt it deserved calling out as the Only (non-pixel) shaded work I did this year, so. Tied for most productive month with March. JUNE: [FR adopts] All I did this month. But, to be fair, I had wrist surgery at the end of May and that sucked. JULY: yeah, these aren't posted anywhere because I wanted to finish more of them first. That, uh, never happened. Whoops! AUGUST: [Fusemon sprites] Three sets of Fusemons done for a personal project, at the start of the month. And then my wrist got worse again so... :/

went diving in my old files for... reasons (didn't find what I was looking for anyhow), but I came across this old character design from 2017 (according to the files, anyhow). She was labeled as Zeta but in lowercase so I guess I was undecided on the name? I suppose she was an old take on Gamma's counterpart, but it's very funny that I ended up going, well... pretty much exact opposite (in differentiating her from Gamma, anyway). For contrast, here's my concept sketch from last year:

Couple of Fusemon I sprited over the last few days for a personal project. Nowhere near done but I lost steam so I'm gonna leave it at this for a bit, figured I might as well post these guys. They're Electric/Flying, Rock/Ghost, and Poison/Flying, in turn.
