Creating Memories

Whenever I visit a place, I’ll always build a strong bond with the people or even with some corners of it. All of them are based on the memories that I create. To be honest, it’s always hard for me to leave anything without making a firm relationship on it. Even to a place that I only got to see for a couple hours.

Yesterday, me and some of my school fellas got a chance to visit the beautiful Universitas Pelita Harapan in Karawaci, Tangerang. When I arrived, I already felt that ‘happy feeling’ that I always got whenever I visit a new place. Then, we met our two guides (who I believe are alumnis of UPH) who I like so much for being nice. I love people. If they’re nice then I won’t leave them. I guess that’s somehow weird. I mean, people can take me for granted just because of that. But hey, some people deserve a huge LOVE!

Anyway, the visit was amazing and I got to see a lot of things, like the library, the labs, the student lounge, the dorm and the sport facilities. I really wanted to see the museum but no one in the group likes art so….

When we went back to the bus to go back home, I missed everything immediately. From the buildings and even those people that we met and bumped on our way to go around. I guess that happens because I’m constantly creating memories and I love it. I love to remember things, even the smallest one. I love to be around in new places with new people that I know I’m comfortable with. I love seeing stupid little things that I’ll keep in mind for a long time. And bam, that goes like that. The only thing that makes me happy for leaving something is that the memories will always be alive in my head and it’ll enrich me to be a better person. Memories help you to not to forget things. It takes a piece of the past with you, so that when you look back, you’ll be reminded of who you were and how amazing person you’ve became.
