Show me that Okapi

Okapi is a little flawed, it cuts off awkwardly on a lot of breeds and could probably have done with a bit more of an edge gradient. I’ve seen it used so many neat ways over the years and I have a couple okapis myself. Here’s one!!

7) Who said “I love you” first? and who ends their arguments in a fight with “Because I love you”?

Oof babe this is rough

Karlo was the first to say “I love you”, however it wasn’t romantic. It might not have even been platonic. It was a “Holy shit! Like I love you! I love this!” type of thing. Asher had robbed a store for him, got money for him, got T for him! It was the closest Karlo had gotten to familial acceptance like ever. And it was amazing to have. It was overwhelming and he did love it, he did love Asher, the same sort of way a Lost Boy loves Peter Pan. It’s not real love, but it’s love none the less.

Almost every fight Karlo and Asher get into ends with Asher throwing out the dreaded “Because I love you” or some variation of it. He really does love Karlo, and that’s the problem. He has no concept of healthy anything, and when you’re a murderer for a living, things get intense. A fist might meet a face, but it’s not out of hatred. It’s just out of the intensity of the lives they live. One toe out of line and their whole operation could go to shit. One toe out of line and Karlo could be dead. Doesn’t he get it??? All this, this wanting to take of LS, to run the city, to sell drugs, to have all this money, it is to take care of Karlo. He really does love Karlo!

favourite friendship: Hecc! Lydia and Stiles are best friends  and they deserved their own fuckin’ spin off. Also, Scott who? We don’t know her.

general opinions: Stiles had so much potential, even the writers said so. Shit got fucked, then the ending was kind of boring and predictable. IT’s part of why he’s one of my favorite characters to write. He’s so malleable and so much fits his character without him seeming out of character! He’s so fun to write and I’m excited to get back into the fandom!

Hey Paper, whatever happened in the ole Nuzlocke of yours? Did everyone make it through? Did Happy Max become an Empoleon?

I never finished playing the game. There was zero planning involved beforehand, I drew the comic WHILE I was playing, all at the same time. The game save is still in the same town the comic was left in.

I might finish the game someday, maybe. Don’t know if I’ll finish the comic too. By now it’s been so long time and I’ve kind of mostly forgotten what I was supposed to be doing in the game.

1. I’m sure there’s some sort of Fertery-esque big fluffy boofer that follows her around while she’s home. 2. She’d probably look up to people like Ozpin, powerful fighters in general. Maybe not anyone by name since the world is so big and full of these strong Huntsmen and Huntresses, but she can appreciate a strong fighter when she sees one. Maybe even want to fight them herself.  3. Because kicking is fun.

Haven’t seen you post anything about Beevis and Butthead recently. Also the Drama Queen too. How are the feather dusters?

Bean, Bub and Plof have been rehomed. I haven’t talked about it because it still makes me super sad to think about it.

At my place they had a bigass cage, and a lot of time to fly around, but recently I just haven’t been around enough. I basically live together with my boyfriend 1.5 hours away from home, and in the weekends when I was home they’d be out of the cage, but it just wasn’t enough for me. I love them a lot, but I just couldn’t provide the standard of care I felt was necessary for them anymore, so I started looking for places to rehome them.

They’re in a beautiful bird sanctuary (they got all kinds of birds. From budgies to macaws and cockatoos) in a big ass outside cage with a bunch of new friends and just all around great care.

I haven’t posted about it because it still makes me super sad, like I said. But they’re better off this way. Taking care of 3 exotic birds (even if they’re 2 budgies and a cockatiel) is just not doable if you’re a single student and you wanna do it right, imo. My standard of care is a big cage, 2 hours of flight a day, a balanced diet and plenty of toys and I just couldn’t give them what they needed the last month or two they spent with me.

Do you have a fav style of holo card? I love the way the old school looked compared to the newer cards. The scattered speckle look is more appealing than the shimmer. But that’s just me!

man. this is always such a hard question for me…. i love every type of holo so much, and all.

i’m gonna have to say the rainbow secret rares and the shining pokemon cards from the shining legends set might be the most recent top tiers for me, but the original holos will always have the #1 spot in my heart. partially because they’re so simplistic and pretty and mostly because i’m old and spent so much time staring at them as a kid that i associate them with comfortable feelings. so basically, i’m with you!
