I got the sorayama x 44 shirt today!!

I ordered it in large and it’s basically a dress 😭 mb tho i assumed their large wasn’t that long™️ despite reading the sizing 700 times 😹. The shirt feels nicer than the other merch shirts ive ordered from US. It’s tropical weather-friendlier bc it’s 100% cotton.

It took me a month and a half to receive it (I live in Southeast Asia) but that’s expected from where I am. If you’re not 8ft tall I’d recommend getting a small or medium!

Plus44World Thoughts/Analysis

I’m sure it will come as a surprise to no one that I am watching Lewis Hamilton’s Plus44World merch shop intently.

He’s giving me Taylor Swift Easter Egg vibes here and honestly? I’m here for it.

So I put on my Taylor Swift Easter Egg Tin Foil Hat™️ and this is my first thoughts on what is queueing up to be his second merch drop.

The post:

With a Japanese flag emoji as the caption, my first thoughts are two things:

1. The merch drop with coincide with the Japanese GP weekend

2. The merch will be influenced and inspired by the Japanese culture

I’m guessing if 1 is true, then 2 will be true too.

The Actual Picture:

I had wondered (hoped maybe) that maybe there was some sort of clue left as far as the picture that he had posted but a reverse image search tells me that this picture is a pretty popular stock photo.

The original was likely created around 1833 by an artist named Katsushika Hokusai and it was originally a woodblock oban print. The British Museum describes it as a "View of Mt Fuji across Sagami Bay, between trunks of cherry trees dotted hills at Goten-yama above Shinagawa: Samurai and ordinary townspeople with children, picnicking and cavorting under blossoms, taking refreshment at temporary tea-stalls."

So I'm not sure that there is much value in the actual picture that was posted other than the Japanese imagery.

WTF does 'Everything' mean?

I wish I had a clue.

But I just had this fleeting thought that somehow Lewis' answer of 'everything' is tied to the PFP change from a neon yellow background to a rainbow background? How that might relate, I have no idea but I'm just tossing it out there in case, later on, we can connect the rainbow to something.

Other Thoughts:

I am incredibly interested in the Plus44World drops because really, Lewis doesn't have to do merch drops like this. He could very easily just drop the merch on his own page and still make a TON of money.

I do wonder if there is some sort of bigger endgame here that he hasn't revealed to us yet which will explain why he is choosing to do this the way that he is.

I'll probably keep updating this as we figure out more/he posts more but in the meantime, what do you guys make of all of it? What do you think 'everything' means?
