Okay, so there's another fandom that I'm currently into that I don't recall ever revealing to you all through my content. I decided today to draw my favorite character from said fandom as a break from a project that I'm working on, so here it is, Daddy Long Legs from Poppy Playtime casually going to "work". 😂

I know he hasn't made a physical appearance within any of the games other than posters & cutouts, but I'm the kind of person who will look at a background character or a not so popular companion from a video game or something & instantly just fall in love with them. If I met this man, I kid you not, I would pick him up bridal style & bust him out of that factory no matter what stood in my way. Catnap I would run you over with my camo boots. 🤣

escaped au; before playtime co closed down, the toys just steal one of the employees' mini van and fucking dip for a road trip and no one notices a thing until both the news of the missing van from said employee and the select few toys and experiments that somehow escaped from the confines of the underground lab a few hours later.

Like i imagine them just having a dysfunctional family road trip. Mommy driving the van while Daddy sits in the passenger seat trying to calm everyone down while also people watching. their Baby and Poppy just sitting in baby seats that was already inside the van that they just decided to use instead of taking them out. Bunzo sitting in-between the child seats, quietly clapping his cymbals in rhythm with the radio with Boogie Bot sitting beside him trying to dance despite the lack of room. Both Candy and Catbee laying on the floor surrounded in stolen candy wrappers with Daisy trying to eat some crackers. Huggy, Kissy and the mini wuggies just managing themselves out with beef jerkey with both Bron and PJ Pug a pllier hanging their head out the window like dogs, scaring passers-by because holy shit that a dinosaur?!

You expect nothing else from me other than this mental image.

A fun dark poppy playtime theory I have

Daddy long legs isn’t seen cause he was separated from mommy for being much more violent. The scientists couldn’t handle him so they put him in a part of the factory mommy couldn’t get to him.

Then when the hour joy happened he was too broken, too feral and the scientists did something to make him even more unhinged than mommy ( maybe baby died or was killed and he witnessed it)

But even if this isn’t true….its a fun dark crack theory.

Or a new fun thing to add to a mini au.

1) Luci and Snatcher as adorable worms again, I like drawing worms ^^

2) Attempted to draw Snatcher after so long and...I still need more work on him.

3) Luci and Robin with THAT song from My Singing Monsters (Is it cold outside? (Look at the stars)) as it relates to both of them ^^

4) Soooo... Remember Mushy Gushy? He has a dad, Daddy Long Legs, now known as Richard in my bestie @iloveminecraft55​’s Poppy Playtime AU.

5) @awkwardgoatroleplayingartist​‘s​ Chikin Nuggit OC, Red Velvet the Platypus because they’re adorable ^^

6) I made Agnes Angora for another character by @awkwardgoatroleplayingartist​, both characters are inspired by Studio Killers’ song, All Men Are Pigs.

7) I lied, there is TSP stuff I wanted to share but don’t know where to put it ^^;

But here is an AU where Chronicle gets the CorvidCorruption that turns them from a giant chicken to a more giant crow, because something happened to Stanley and they blamed themselves for that. Don’t worry, Stanley comes back. ^^

8) And this was inspired by a story I wrote before I drew SkipButton!Charles, but the point was that while Charles is a sweetheart, he did leave Stanley in the Parable for 7 years before returning for Ultra Deluxe.

9) I got this LCD writing tablet as a way to doodle, take a picture and erase when I don’t have the time to draw on paper or in Clip Studio. Been a while since I drew Giftbox ^^;;

10) Speaking of Giftbox, I drew her again as requested by my older sis, Glady, for my birthday. I might post the timelapse one day on here or on YouTube ^^

11) I’ve drawn eyes during the first years when I started drawing, and I still got it ^^.

12) At work, I drew when I can, these are the doodles I’ve done before I stopped...

Yep! Inside of the factory is like a weird little town or city for the toys that dwell within, so interaction between toys in different parts of the building is very frequent.

As for their interactions with the children, that will be elaborated on in a future post :3c

so fun fact, the escaped au picked up traction. Guess it's time for me to place flexible points about it

Mommy runs off coffee while Daddy runs off tea, everyone else either hates the smell or the taste of both so they don’t usually worry about their drinks being stolen.

Poppy hates being in the child's seat and thinks she doesn’t need it very early on. Bunzo has to keep her in place so she doesn’t fly off into the back of the passenger seat. Baby Long-Legs however is perfectly content with the situation and doesn’t crack a fuss.

Mommy and Daddy usually drive and take turns. They let Huggy drive one time and they quickly realised that the doll’s foot can’t push hard enough on the breaks and almost caused a crash, They never let both Huggy and Kissy drive now. 

Kissy ironically likes veggie burgers and both Huggy and the mini wuggies don’t see the appeal. 

Bunzo likes to sit in the playgrounds in parks and fast food joints. Very much in his element.

The van’s keys were still in the van when they stole it. They didn’t even need to hotwire it.

Candy Cat gets carsick and usually spends their time laying on the floor while Catbee tries to comfort them with M&Ms. 

They all don’t like sleeping in the car, so they often try getting a motel or they sleep under the stars. Have you tried sleeping in a car while stuck in the same spot, the toys don’t

The mini wuggies like to hide away from people; they are used to their tunnels at Playtime co and usually steal empty toilet and paper towel rolls from motels and convenience stores to recreate that feeling. Sometimes they sleep and roll around in them.

Everyone likes fast food. They are usually found in fast-food restaurants at night, often staying for a couple of hours before leaving again. However, they are willing to tip and clean up after themselves. 

PJ doesn’t usually talk, he very much sounds like the cutout but it's rare for him to talk regardless. He is also very cuddly and loves attention.

Bron is a large toy like Huggy and PJ, however, is slow as he is heavy.

Poppy actually enjoys water, it sparks joy. For Baby Long-Legs though, not so much. You can imagine how difficult it would be to bathe a very elastic baby, but their parents get the job done by being elastic themselves. they just need to dry off afterwards.

PJ met a lovely stray pug that was affectionally named Meatball one time. they meet every so often and they get along.

Both Mommy and Daddy's relationship on the outside may appear to be that of a couple threating a divorce over each other's heads but its quite the opposite. They're quite loving towards each other and the other toys. They just hate each other's driving.

They stole a credit card, and commit tax evasion
