So ito nga, tanghaling tapat nag-iinit ang ulo ko potangena.

While cooking lunch, binati ni Jade yung pagkakaayos nung ulam don sa plate, ang sosyal daw ang plating. Sabi ko naman, mana yan sya kay Olibya, gusto maganda yung plating ng food. 

Aba itong si butsoy e bumanat ba naman na “nangni nangni kayo e iniwan nyo naman.” Tapos parang minimick pa nya yung sinabi ni Olibya noon na “matutumba ako, matutumba ako!”

PUTANGINA! Na-trigger ako siszt pero mas pinili kong kumalma kasi una, baka mareactivate ang kamalditahan ko at baka mabastos ko sya ng de oras. At pangalawa, baka mapalayas kami, hindi ko pa afford ang mangupahan ngayon. 

For context - yung senaryong sinasabi nya ay yung one time na kakatapos lang maligo ni Olibya. Since alagain nga yung matanda, nag-tulong kami ni Khloe sa pag-aasikaso. Like ito, after maligo, ako ang magtatayo sa kanya mula doon sa silya, tatapisan ko ng towel ang katawan at aalalayan palabas ng cr. Si Khloe naman, sasalubungin nya ang lola nya sa labas ng pinto para alalayan papasok sa kwarto habang nililigpit ko yung pinagliguan ng matanda doon sa banyo. 

Nagulat kasi ako nung sumigaw si Olibya non na “matutumba ako, matutumba ako!” kaya dali akong pumunta sa kwarto, e andon itong si Lucifer sa may kainan, so narinig nya. Pagpasok ko sa kwarto, oki naman sila, paupo na sya higaan non nung nadatnan ko sila saying binitawan daw sya ni Khloe. In Khloe’s defense, hindi nya naman daw binitawan, inalis nya lang yung isa nyang kamay para alisin yung mga nakaharang sa uupuan ng lola nya habang pero hindi nya fully binitawan talaga, hawak parin nya yung braso sa isa nyang kamay.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always reminded my daughter na mag-focus lang sa lola nya lalo na kapag naglalakad. Hello my daughter was 11 at that time, may isip na, so alam na nya yung ginagawa nya.

Some people will say, hindi ko alam yung totoong nangyari dahil hindi ko naman nakita. Bitch knowing my mom, I know she was just exaggerating kasi she was a fucking manipulative sadgurl. No hate sa nanay ko pero ganon sya, manipulative narcissist. 

Kahit sa akin ganon sya e, aalalayan kong lumakad tapos sasabihin sayo na wag syang kaladkarin at matutumba sya, like sis as in katabi ko sya habang naglalakad, like walking side by side, so asan ang pagkaladkad?

So yun nga, going back kay lucifer, edi narinig nga nya yung sigaw ni Olibya, alam naman nyang bata yung umaalalay e bakit hindi sya tumulong? Like duh. Tapos gagamitin nya yon against me? 

Iritang irita na ako sa kanya. Akala mo kung sinong napaka-husay, e kung bugbugin naman yung anak, kulang nalang patayin nya. Dapat tinuloy na ni lola Len nung sinabi nyang magpapa-barangay sya. 

Regarless kung ano pa ang nangyari that day, nawalan parin ako ng nanay but that doesn’t mean na nagpabaya ako. Yung trabaho ko pa nga yung napabayaan ko e diba, nawalan ako ng trabaho dahil sa pag-aalaga sa taong inaakala nyang pinabayaan ko. Like putangina bitch it was just so rude that I cried. 

Like putangina bitch I wanna fucking move out so bad. Hindi sila nakakatulong sa mental health ko. What’s the sense of having all these therapies and meds kung panay ganito naman ang mga nakakasama mo.

I was shocked to learn from my sister-in-law that med school, and uni in general, in Australia (I reckon it’s the same in the US and UK?) study only 4-5 subjects in one term/semester. And that’s a full load already! 🤯😮 But she was more shocked to know that a full load here in the Philippines (med school and uni in general as well) comprises of about 7-9 subjects per semester? Like whoa 🤯

That’s why I keep wondering how med students abroad still has time for a bit of self-care time and leisure while here I just get to choose if I would rather eat or sleep in my free time 😭
