When he first saw the surrounding around him, he was quite confused, as he was used to the sounds to zombies lurking, but it was quite peaceful

But when he first saw you, god he was a nervous reck, he didn’t know why exactly but him being around you made him nervous

Despite his nervousness though, he was nice towards you, and he always wanted to make sure you were well

You allowed him to live with you, as you lived alone and was trying to look for something to give you some company

If you tell him what you like and dislike he’d always write it down, so that whenever you were gone for hours at a time (school or work, you choose), he’d try and make you a little gift for you to see once you come home, specifically whatever you said you liked that you had told him

Later as months go by, Edward becomes less nervous, and almost always tries to give you something when you come back home

You had told him that you are transmasc, did that stop him from giving you gifts? No. In matter of fact, that made him give you MORE gifts, with little reasoning behind it

At one point you noticed he became a nervous reck around you again, out of no where, and when you try to talk to him about it he either outright ignores the question or tries to change the topic

One day, instead of all the gifts you kept receiving, you see a card that reads

“Dear [Name], Ich am sorry that I’ve been distant as of recently, but I decided I should tell you, I unfortunately cannot tell you to your face as I might not get mein words across to you correctly, but I’ve recently discovered that Ich had caught feelings towards you, that Ich haven’t felt towards anyone before. Although I do hope you feel the same, I understand why if you don’t, and all I hope is that our relationship doesn’t change because of this. From, Edward Richtofen”

You gave this man a hug, he needs one, and reassured him that, despite the age gap, you felt the same, which made him the happiest man ever
