For those of you who still fondly remember “Crazy” and occasionally say to yourself, “Well, I remember Jiyoon yelling ttarahae! but I don’t know where I was supposed to follow her to,” here’s your answer. She’s released some solo songs under the name Jenyer but PRSNT is her other major project.

This is their most recent single; they released an album earlier this year, and I am very fond of the title track, “Crazy Driver,” and not just because hearing Jiyoon sing “crazy, crazy” makes me nostalgic. It’s a delicious piece of ‘80s pastiche and you should check it out, but it doesn’t have a video or even an official YouTube clip that I can find. I’m less taken with “We’re just a grain of sand,” though I do appreciate Jiyoon’s “blossom, blah blah blossom” coming after the leisurely drop, as if she’s telling us not to take our melancholy too seriously.
