Here comes my very silly and very unlike-my-style little Bleach fic...

I own nothing except my obsession. Not making any profit. Obviously.

I tried to do something I usually avoid: dialogue and humour. So...yeah. Attempt at humour. Emphasis on attempt. Dialogue heavy. Proceed at your own risk.

To be continued. Hopefully.

(I wrote this during the summer... when I was definitely less depressed than I am now. Trying to cheer myself up with a bit of fanfic.)

“So, how is the boy with the oral sex tattoo?” Lisa asks.

She's lounging on the sofa, reading an abomination about naughty bored office ladies. With a straight face, of course.

Kensei sighs, shrugs and takes a sip of his beer, trying to avoid the subject.

“You've got to hand it to him, he's got balls, to get a tattoo like that on his face.”

Kensei knows he's doomed to have people comment on that forever. And says: “You know why he did it, you damn pervert! He didn't even know what it means in the world of the Living until very recently!”

Kensei would love to be joking...but it's the truth.

“Ayasegawa told him, one night we went out to drink...”

Shinji is now grinning ear to ear. He's just so terribly sorry he missed that.

“It's been the worst case of second-hand embarrassment of my life. Mashiro laughed so much she nearly hollowfied by mistake.”

“Well, and how did he react to the shocking news?” Rose asks, amused, but more composed than his companions.

“He turned as red as a kid hearing about sex for the first time. He kept looking at me, his mouth gaping like a fish, and blushing like a virgin. Unbelievable” he shrugs.

"Oh? And yet, I've heard he's not...exactly a blushing virgin after all..." Shinji hides his smirk behind yet another bottle of wine he's trying to open. It's Rose's turn to be the subject of some juicy gossip now.

"I heard he got quite close to lieutenant Kira after that fucker Aizen showed his true colours... if you get my meaning..."

Kensei nods, "so I heard, too. Shuhei once broke a guy's nose because he'd said something nasty about it."

"How poetic..." Rose is not jealous. He finds it terribly endearing and romantic. If Shinji is trying to... make him say something "unsuitable", it's not working.

"The sad goth and the tattooed punk? Damn, that's hot." Lisa finally raises her head from the manga, suddenly interested in the direction the evening has taken.

"Rose, if Kensei here doesn't make a move, you can start planning a nice menage à trois..."

"Lisa, do you ever stop thinking about sex?"

"I'm just a curious young woman, I have a healthy interest in the pleasures of the flesh..."

"Oh for fuck's sake..."

"You know, Lisa is not wrong..." Shinji is still trying to get Rose to say...something.

But Rose knows his tactics, and is skirting the subject.

"Damnit Hirako, don't enable her!"

"Shut up! You're one to talk, Mr I have a fucking 69 tattooed on my abs..."

"Well, Shinji, what about you? How's it going with your adorable little lieutenant?" Rose finally asks, with a subtle smile, while lighting a cigarette.

Shinji seems surprised, but Rose is perceptive... and knows him well.

"Oh, she gets a bit emotional sometimes, you know, but she is a fierce one. She scolds me all the time." But he doesn’t look annoyed, far from it. He looks entirely all too pleased with himself.

"Momo is a great lieutenant..." Shinji goes on, keeping on safe ground.

"Yeah, she does all your work because you're a lazy bastard."

"I think she's finally happy. All the others say that she's never looked better."

Lisa smirks. "Have you tried anything yet?"

"Who? Me? I'm not like certain degenerate captains who want to fuck their subordinates..." and he blows smoke in Rose's direction.

"Or like that lying snake Ichimaru..." Kensei adds.

"I see the gossip network in the Seireitei is still as efficient as it once was."

"You are all so crass." Rose complains.

“Did you guys hear? Kuchiki and Abarai are officially engaged. They are going to get married soon.”

“What?” Kensei is looking positively astonished.

“Not Byakuya, you idiot. His sister!” Lisa yells.

“Ah, and here I thought that Byakuya was finally going to get laid...” Shinji quips.

“They make a cute couple. It's a pity she's off the market though.”

“Lisa, I thought you liked big boobs.”

“Odd. I could say the same about you, but here you are, drooling after your lieutenant…”

“How do you guys get anything done? You just spend your time trying to bang your subordinates!” Kensei yells.

“Hey, I don't even have a lieutenant yet!”

“Thank the gods for that!”

“Well, you wouldn't even have to try very hard, Kensei. Hisagi is this close to jumping you...” Mashiro adds.

“How do you resist him? He's so handsome. And he literally worships you..."

“It's not like that, Rose. He just...still has to get over the fact that I saved his life when he was a kid.”

“Yeah, right. I saw the way he looks at you...” Shinji smirks.

“He would let you bend him over in front of the entire Gotei 13.”

“Lisa, we don't all read porn 24/7, you know...”

“You should try it then, maybe you wouldn't be so grumpy all the time! Here, smoke this... maybe it will help a bit.”

“Lisa, don't tell me you bought weed from Urahara...”

“No, I bought this from that friend of Ichigo's, the little slick guy who likes milfs.”

Shinji briefly wonders what kind of friends Ichigo has in the world of the Living, after all...

“By the way, Urahara told me that he's been working on a fancy little project on the side… He’s been trying to make drugs that are specifically designed for shinigami.”

“He said he got inspired watching Breaking Bad...” Mashiro adds.

“Of course he did, that smug smartass.”

“He's asked for Akon's collaboration. Captain Kurotsuchi doesn't know. And must absolutely not know. Urahara said he's going to give him a lifetime supply of cigarettes at a special price.”

“You damn pervert! You traumatised my lieutenant!”

Rose is looking kinda sheepish. This time Shinji has a point, actually.

Mashiro is trying her best not to burst out laughing. Lisa looks composed, but...it's just a facade, of course.

And Kensei is the only one who doesn't know what happened, as usual.

“Shinji sent Hinamori to the Third, and she caught Rose sucking Kira off in the middle of the office.”

“Are you out of your fucking mind? What if it wasn't Hinamori? What if...captain Kuchiki was the one to come by? Or, worse, Hitsugaya? Can you imagine that?”

Rose does indeed look a bit guilty.

“Shinji, don't be so hard on Rose! You know poor Kira needs some love and distraction...”

Mashiro gleefully adds: “And also a lot of dick, apparently.”

“Lisa, you're just saying this because you wish it was you!”

“Fair point, you know me well. But it might be...you know, good for you, in the end.”

“What the hell do you mean?”

Lisa smiles conspiratorially. “I know that little Momo has been reading...some interesting things recently.”

“Hinamori is buying porn magazines from you?” Mashiro asks, her eyes as big and round as sake cups.

“Worse! She sends other people, because she's too shy. She sent Matsumoto and Abarai.”

“You must be joking!”

“You know I take porn very seriously, I wouldn't joke about something like this.” And then she goes on: “It's been...interesting. Abarai was fucking mortified. But he didn't want to say no to an old friend who has been through so much. He kept glancing around, like he was afraid his captain could find him there...”

Mashiro, always the lover of juicy and dirty gossip, is very interested. “But what did she want to buy?”

“Oh, you know, pretty light stuff, nothing too explicit. Office romance. Cute, shy secretary who gets it on with the new stylish womanizer boss… Does it ring any bells, Shinji?”

“Go for it, Shinji! It's time to put that tongue piercing of yours to good use!”

🔥 what is your opinion of ichigo as the main protagonist of bleach? as the force that was needed to stop aizen , and then save the three worlds from ywach? does he live up well as a protagonist against his villains?

okay, so -- i'll be the first person to say that kubo isn't a great writer. but - that's only sometimes. his earlier writing in the series, running from chapter one to the end of the invasion of soul society arc is actually pretty fucking good. and there's some other really good writing from him later in the series too! but sometimes his writing is just not that good and that's okay. i saw someone describe kubo once as someone who is a shallow but static writer. he gives some juicy implications of world building but he doesn't go that deep into things. which -- okay. i'm okay with that. i honestly think that kubo's writing can go through highs and lows and i do pick on his writing because it's fun but he has given us some very dynamic characters! and i love it. now, as for ichigo? i mean ... he's a shonen protagonist. i'm not an OP fan; i've tried to read it, repeatedly, and i cannot get over the art style. but i hear great things about it so like i've heard that the writing in it is really solid. but i read naruto and i'm a big fan of MHA and i mean, the thing is is that many shonen protagonists are very similar. ichigo is ... a little unique. he's a protagonist who, at first, doesn't care about protecting people which i think is hilarious. like, naruto and deku and goku come with a lot of need to protect people or to improve themselves and ichigo had none of that. he's a punk and i love him for it. but i also genuinely love seeing him going from "i don't care" to "i want to protect a whole mountainload of people" and his character growth is one of the loveliest things about the series. he never quite loses being a punk ( as we see with the time skip between the end of Deicide and the Lost Agent arc ) and, truthfully, i think that the Lost Agent arc is one of the best moments of showing just how far ichigo has come in his character growth. because, may i remind people, he was ready to kill tsukishima for what he had done to ichigo's friends and family. ichigo didn't kill aizen, he didn't kill grimmjow, ulquiorra died because of the damage he took from ichigo when our strawberry boy went all vasto lorde. but the difference between those fights and how ready ichigo was to take down both tsukishima and ginjo is honestly a little hair-raising for me. i think he's honestly a very human protagonist; he's not perfect. ichigo fucks up. he makes mistakes. he struggles with things and he's stubborn and reads as a teenager. i think that's what makes him stand out a lot to me over a lot of other shonen protagonists. ichigo's a jerk and a punk but he also does care about people. but he's not the kind of person you'd peg as a hero immediately because of his attitude. and i think he absolutely does live up to facing off against aizen and yhwach. ichigo goes from starting the series off from not caring a lot about helping people out, which rukia calls him out on with how he can't pick and choose who to help, but ichigo's response is just that he doesn't want to say he doesn't want to protect everyone. he just wants to protect everyone that he can with his two hands. ichigo is aware he can't save everyone and that's brilliant. and i really love it for him. yhwach and aizen aren't exactly comparable villains in my opinion; of course, my bias is that i adore how my friend eli ( @yhwch ) writes the mustachioed bastard and they make him so engaging and interesting with their own unique spin on him and aizen's motives are definitely complicated and a lot less nihilistic than yhwach's are. but i absolutely think that when it comes down to it? yeah, ichigo does great at being a protagonist. he's very begrudging about the fact that he's been stuck becoming a shinigami daiko ( albeit aizen manipulated ichigo and rukia to meet; matchmaking??? ) but he does come to accept it eventually. ichigo's name can be read as strawberry -- but it can also be read as 'protector' and i just find the fact that ichigo's own traumas in regards to not saving his mother and needing to protect his sisters have shaped him.

in many ways, kubo's made repeated allusions to that and it's well done in my opinion. like -- yes. kubo's not the greatest of writers and his writing suffered a lot in the blood war arc because he was being pushed to get it done thanks to SJ executives. but i think that he wrote ichigo really well and i think that ichigo did well in standing up against aizen and yhwach. we see ichigo have these moments of doubt. we see him questioning himself and his own skills and abilities. it makes ichigo very human to me and while i will always say that kubo's writing could be better? i am ecstatic that he's being given the chance to expand on several things in the blood war that he probably rushed or glossed over. i think that ichigo's just really great tbh. he's a good kid, even if he can be a punk at times!

kubo really had his finger on the pulse of what it is to be a teenager, yknow? again, like all the stuff with orihime’s feelings about ichigo and her feelings about her feelings about ichigo i didn’t appreciate it at the time, but from a distance it really tracks...like as much as reading this is applicable, directly, to me writing better bleach fic and getting a handle on the characters/world, it is also a great lesson in writing teenagers that feel like teenagers. anyway.

so lemme get this straight....ichigo was fighting the manifestation of his shinigami powers, who was holding his physical manifestation, and called out to the manifestation of his quincy powers for aid, using the name of his shinigami powers, and thus his quincy powers made him swap swords with his shinigami powers which made him wield the physical manifestation of his shinigami powers against the metaphysical representation in his mind......is my beer cold yet i need a drink

nnn and the parallels with kenpachi waking up to yachiru and ichigo waking up to bachgetsu....nicely done, kubo. i guess that’s why it had such traction as a fan theory. and yachiru saying ‘that was two on one’ bc ichigo was fighting with ‘zangetsu’ meanwhile yachiru was watching from the sidelines....

i do like that the first captain ichigo holds his own against is kenpachi, who like him does not use kido and has no formal training, relying only on raw strength, no shikai/bankai. his style is really only suited to go up against kenpachi (and kenpachi would hold back to a point as well).

Gonna start off this blog with one of my own personal headcanons for Grimmjow:

Selective Mutism

According to Wikipedia (which is actually a good source for information), Selective Mutism is, “an anxiety disorder in which a person who is normally capable of speech cannot speak in specific situations or to specific people. Selective mutism usually co-exists with shyness or social anxiety. People with selective mutism stay silent even when the consequences of their silence include shame, social ostracism, or punishment.”

Grimmjow is not in any way, shape, or form shy, but I’m certain he has social anxiety (but that’s for another post). I want to focus on key points within the quote. I want to begin with, “a person who is normally capable of speech cannot speak in specific situations or to specific people.” Grimmjow is known for running his mouth. He’s a punk. He fights back against those in authority and people who see themselves (or who he believes is) superior. I don’t particularly think Grimmjow is the talkative type, but he isn’t a wallflower either. He’ll stand up for himself. And if someone is being stupid, he’ll call them out. For instance, when Ulquiorra claimed Ichigo wasn’t a threat. (Reread that scene, and you can tell that Grimmjow is two seconds away from calling Ulquiorra a moron bc YIKES, the emo’s ego is bad.) Ulquiorra is more powerful than him and he isn’t afraid to call him out. He isn’t even afraid to talk back to Tosen, who was superior to all Arrancar and Espada.

Here, we see that Grimmjow has no problems with speaking. He defends himself. He fights back. But within that exact same scene, when Aizen is involved, he’s completely different.

At the beginning of the scene, Grimmjow’s head is slightly lowered and he avoids eye contact with Aizen. He doesn’t even match Aizen’s greeting with his own. When he speaks, it’s one word, and only to Tosen. And when he does speak to Aizen, it’s hardly any words at all.

A small, simple act of defiance. Not long after he starts an argument with Tosen, his defiance and confidence growing until he lashes out after being attacked—however

Grimmjow says nothing. He doesn’t argue. He doesn’t fight back. Not a single word is spoken. Grimmjow isn’t silent under specific conditions, he’s silent around specific people, a.k.a. Aizen.

Here’s another heart-wrenching example of Grimmjow’s selective mutism involving Aizen:

He speaks to Aizen once in this scene, and it takes a moment for him to force it out. And on top of it, Aizen mocks Grimmjow for not speaking. (I also headcanon that Aizen knows of Grimmjow’s condition, and uses it against him often.) To anyone else, Grimmjow says whatever he wanted, but with Aizen, he’s at a loss for words.

As for why Aizen triggers Grimmjow’s mutism, take your pick!

Aizen is unfathomably powerful. He outranks every Espada with ease—it would be stupid not to be afraid of him.

Aizen has control over the Arrancar and high status. He makes a fool out of Grimmjow often to the point that he is a joke to them and not respected. He could easily diminish Grimmjow’s place among the elite.

Aizen reminds Grimmjow of someone from his past human life, and those vibes are so vile and vicious that he automatically falls into a silent state.

(I personally believe it is triggered by intense anxiety or fear of/for a person or persons.)

There are many reasons! Naturally, this is only a headcanon, and there are some flaws, but there’s enough evidence within canon to support the idea. (And I love writing his mutism, honestly.)

Drunk Aizen (and his 2 braincells) wip

My drunk Aizen wip, posted for @catsafarithewriter for all her drunk Aizen needs :) @illmoure you may also enjoy this.

summary - Aizen drunkenly tries to pick up his husband in a bar on a night out with Renji and the pack. Much to the amusement of… everyone. (somewhat heirverse related)

Gin sipped his drink and watched them all. They’d been so welcoming. Honestly he hadn’t really known what to expect, a bunch of rowdy punks maybe? But they’d all shattered his expectations and all been very sweet to him. Even inviting him for drinks at the Wolf Den Tavern. Hell, they’d even said Sousuke could come.

Though Aizen was working late tonight so he’d meet them later. Around seven-ish. Which was… Gin looked at his watch… right about now. Oh, no, wait. That was an hour ago. Oops. Gin sheepishly made his way through the Friday night crowds in search of his partner, who he quickly found searching for him. And… very drunk. “Sousuke?” Gin called to him. And his lover turned around, face breaking into the biggest grin imaginable when he saw him. “Hello, gorgeous,” Sousuke smiled. Putting an arm round his shoulders and kissing him. “Now what’s a beautiful place like you doin’… in a guy like this?”

That earned him some snickering from Renji who’d appeared behind Gin. “See he found the place then huh?” Renji smirked. “And the bar.” Gin’s cheeks flushed a little. But Aizen didn’t stop there. “You must be exhausted, though.” He smirked. “You’ve been running through my mind all day.”

Gin cheeks flushed pinker at that and Renji laughed. “Sousuke…” Gin half groaned. “Listen. My buddies over there,” Aizen whispered in his ear, pointing his thumb over his shoulder to Zaraki, Ikkaku and Yumi at the table behind him, “bet me that I wouldn’t be able to start a conversation with the most beautiful person in the tavern. What should we do with all their money?”

Gin blinked. His face was on fire now. “Uhh… pay your bar tab?” He offered. “Cuz ya clearly got beer goggles on right now - ya know there’s loadsa people better looking than I am.” Aizen made a dismissive gesture and snorted. “Psh. My eyes are fiiiiine.” He slurred. Drink nearly spilling in his hand. “And I think you’re pretty so shuddup.” Renji smirked. “You tell him Aizen.”

Gin glanced at Renji “who’s side’re ya on?” “Yeah. I will.” Aizen said. Then turned to Gin again. “Realll beutful. I hope you know CPR, because you’re’ takin my breath away!” Gin heard the laughter of Zaraki and Co as well as Renji and tried to resist the urge to facepalm.

“Okay let’s go find us a table.” Gin suggested. Steering Sousuke away from the others who would no doubt be snickering about this for days. He and Renji propped the drunken idiot up between them and made their way to a booth. Renji sitting opposite them. Allen drank the rest of his drink and looked at his empty glass. “Why is the rum gone?” He asked sadly. “Barkeep! More rum! I seem to have misplaced mine and I need more!” “I think you’ve had enough for t'day…” Gin said gently. Smiling softly. Really, Aizen had two braincells when he was drunk. “And you didn’t lose it, you drank it.”

“No I lost it.” Aizen answered. Suddenly perking up. “You know what else I lost? My phone number.” And at that he leant against Gin and sighed softly. “Can I have yours?” Renji guffawed and Gin just sighed. Two braincells indeed. “Sousuke we live together. We share the same phone number.”

Renji was losing it. Aizen was using the most hilariously awful pick-up lines on his husband, who was blushing and shaking his head. He watched, stifling his laughter as his former captain unabashedly tried again. “Do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I walk by you again?” Gin shook his head again, wearing an expression that was equal parts frustration and indulgence. “Ya saw me earlier, Sousuke! We need ta get you some water, or yer gonna be hungover t'morrow.”

Renji turned and subtly gestured for his friends to come closer. He saw Gin frown at him, but this was just too good not to share. As they gathered, the oblivious captain of the 5th grinned at Gin. “Your eyes are bluer than the Atlantic ocean. And I don’t mind being lost at sea!” Gin sighed and tapped his forehead on the table. “Sousuke, ya know my eyes’re red.”

Aizen just grinned brightly. “Okay, fine. Lost in the Red Sea, then.” Snickering from their small audience had Renji almost rolling. This was hilarious, yet sweet that Aizen was outlandishly flirting with his partner. It reminded him of how goofily in love he was with his own boyfriend. Speaking of…Byakuya was approaching him with two glasses of Krak'n'Coke, one of their mutual favorite mixed drinks. He wrapped an arm around the noble’s waist and took the offered drink, nodding at Aizen. The bespectacled captain was still dropping lines like bombs, looking proud of himself. “Are you a camera, Gin? Cause every time I look at you, I smile!” Gin sighed, yet his smile was indulgent. “Yeah, like an idiot.” Renji grinned at the smaller Soul Reaper at his side. “Am I that bad when I’m drunk?”

Byakuya smirked over at Gin. “Heavens spare us drunk lovers, hmm?” The silver-haired captain nodded, still smiling. “And horrible pick-up lines.” “I’ll drink to that,” Byakuya said. And he did. “By the way How do you even forget your own phone number?” He asked. “By gettin’ real blotto. Apparently.” Gin answered. “I bet he don’t even remember where he lives either.”

Aizen saw his opportunity and seized it. “Yeah, I can’t remember where I live.” He said, in an attempt to sound pathetic. “Can you take me home and let me spend the night with you? I’ll be really good.” “Sousuke weren’t you listening when I told ya we live together?” “Well no. I was too distracted by how pretty you are.” More giggles. Zaraki howled wit laughter.

Gin wanted to hide under the table. He settled for groaning and covering his face. “Are you quite sure I can’t have your number?” Aizen tried again, the picture of drunken smoothness. “Or how about a kiss instead?” “Sousuke, no.” “Sousuke, yes.” “No.”

Aizen’s face was the picture of disappointment. “Oh.” He said slowly. Thinking for a moment. “Well what about this, then. I say a thing and if I’m wrong you have to kiss me.” Gins face burned. Their small audience grew a little and everyone was whistling and urging him to agree. “Okay. Fine.”

Aizen smirked. Tasting victory. Which also happened to taste like rum. “Alright.” He said deviously. “Kiss me if I’m wrong, but bears don’t exist, right?” Gin sighed, Renji snickered. Everybody laughed. “Am I right or do you have to kiss me?”

Gin groaned. Wondering for a moment if he could convincingly make the argument that bears existing was just a conspiracy theory. Because if he admitted defeat everyone would be laughing at this for weeks. He was just hoping the ground would swallow him when Zaraki’s laughter sounded across the pub. Along with catcalls and wolf whistles. And the chants of “Do it! Do it! Do it!”

Gina sighed. He guessed he had no choice.

My Top Ten Bleach Ships

Requested by Anon :)

I have a lot of Bleach ships, and too many for me to list here! I might make a part 2 in the future, but for now, here is a list of my ten favourite Bleach ships, just as a way for everyone to get to know me. Let’s start with number 10!

10) AiShin (Aizen x Shinji)

Oh, the dynamics between these two! I’m not gonna lie, there is something quite appealing about this ship, but I can’t really explain what it is. Is it the implication that Aizen actually likes Shinji? Is it simply because they just look good together? I honestly don’t know, but I will admit that I like to ship them sometimes.

9) AiIchi (Aizen x Ichigo)

This ship is a guilty pleasure for me, honestly. Again, I can’t really explain why exactly I ship these two, but it just is quite appealing for me. I’ll admit, I also saw some fanart of these two that were quite beautiful and before I knew it, I found myself shipping this in addition to the many other ships I have. But yeah, guilty pleasure.

8) ByaHime (Byakuya x Orihime)

I’ll bet this one is a surprise, isn’t it? Yes, I actually do ship Byakuya and Orihime together sometimes. There’s something so adorable about cold and aloof Byakuya being shipped together with the sweet and cute Orihime, and some fanfictions have definitely helped in my view of this ship! Sure, Orihime may be a bit too quirky, but I can totally see Byakuya slowly growing fond of her and her growing fond of him too. So yeah, I like this ship as well.

7) RenIchi (Renji x Ichigo)

These two are quite shippy in both canon and in the anime fillers, so is it any wonder that I ship them? I already have a headcanon that Ichigo has a small crush on Renji and looks up to him a little bit, and that gradually evolves from an admittedly-adorable crush to a romantic relationship. They’re both strong-willed, incredibly loyal, and they’re total sweethearts despite looking like punks who could kill you. So I definitely ship them a lot!

6) RoseKira (Rose x Kira)

This is such a rare ship but I still love it quite a bit, honestly. I mean, we have Kira, who has been reduced to a shell of his former self from his years serving under Gin, who abused him both mentally and psychologically. Then we have Rose, who is trying to rebuild his former squad after they’ve been shattered by Gin’s betrayal. I can see Rose trying to build a tentative friendship with Kira and gradually getting him to trust him and open up a little, and while Kira is a little reluctant, he slowly starts to trust him again and eventually they fall in love with one another. I do wish this ship had more shippers, I’d love to see more works about the two of them falling in love!

5) IshiNemu (Ishida x Nemu)

Remember back in the Soul Society Arc, when Nemu offered Ishida some antidote for poison after his taxing fight against Kurotsuchi Mayuri? Remember how horrified Ishida was to see Nemu getting kicked around by her own captain and father? For me, this was the beginning of something beautiful. I really adore this ship because both Ishida and Nemu have a few things in common: they both have not-so-good relationships with their fathers, they’re both quite loyal, and they’re both dedicated. And besides, Ishida would be the sweetest boyfriend to Nemu: making her lots of new clothes, taking her out on romantic dates... just imagine it. It’s really sweet.

4) IchiIshi (Ichigo x Ishida)

Yes, I totally ship these two as well. For all of Ishida’s talk about how Quincy and Shinigami are enemies and how he refuses to be associated with the Shinigami, he does not hesitate to get involved and help Ichigo out. And they both have some things in common: they’re loyal, they’ve both lost their moms, and they’d go to hell and back for their friends. Not to mention, they care about each other much more than they’d like to admit, so they just need to hurry up and get together already.

3) RukiHime (Rukia x Orihime)

I adore these two together. Who needs girl hate and rivalry over the same guy when they can just be totally adorable together? Besides, it’s already canon that Rukia and Orihime care about each other quite a bit; hell, Rukia is the one who tells Orihime that she is strong and that she is important! And besides, Rukia literally crawled through her own blood trying to save Orihime. If that’s not shippy, then I don’t know what else it can be. So forget all the Orihime-bashing and Rukia-bashing; let’s let our girls love each other!

2) IchiHime (Ichigo x Orihime)

I know I might lose followers for this, but I absolutely love Ichihime (of course, not as much as my number one ship, but definitely a lot). Ichigo definitely cares a lot about Orihime, and Orihime has always loved Ichigo even before he gained his Shinigami powers. In fact, that moment when Ichigo literally came back to life to protect Orihime when he heard her crying out for him, that just sealed it for me. But there’s also the fact that Ichigo always becomes softer whenever he sees Orihime, he never scowls or frowns around her unless she’s in danger, and there’s also how Orihime is always so reassuring of Ichigo. They complement each other in their own ways and bring out the best in each other, and I’ll never grow tired of seeing them together.

1) ByaRen/RenBya (Renji x Byakuya)

Yes, this is my all-time favourite ship in Bleach. Funny thing, because I always like imagining angsty scenarios for them (then again, I’m a masochist, lol). I’ve always been a sucker for class-difference romances, so this isn’t too big of a surprise for me. I’ve always liked the image of high-class Byakuya falling in love with poor boy Renji, but there’s also the dynamics between them. Not just the class difference, but the fact that Byakuya is a captain and Renji is his lieutenant, so there is a power imbalance, for sure. Even then, Renji is everything that Byakuya needs; he’s passionate, loyal, caring, and a total sweetheart. The fateful hospital scene is what made me start shipping it, honestly, because it really establishes Renji’s loyalty to Byakuya and that he was willing to try and build a proper relationship with him as superior and subordinate. Sure, I think there were some rough patches for the both of them, mainly with Renji still being a little upset about being pinned to the spot with Kido before being nearly sliced and diced by Byakuya’s Bankai while Byakuya feels guilt for how he’d treated Renji up until then, but things worked out in the end and it eventually blossomed into a beautiful romance. Yeah, I’m kind of a romantic at heart.

I had such a nice dream. It involved Bleach, oddly enough even tho I hate that show. It was about Aizen hosting a tournament mortal kombat style with soul reapers vs espada or whatever those people were called. And there were hundreds on each side and I joined with Ash, Misty, and Brock lmao. Anyways, while waiting on our matches, we were just chilling in a restaurant set up by Aizen, since he was a host and all and bruh we had some good ass food. But our first matches would be super easy and low tier enemies, thankfully. It was like a video game where you work your way up the difficulty ladder. Anyways, I fought some guy and he was cool enough and I didn't really wanna be enemies. But the second he lost, Aizen just showed up and punched that man once and he died and I was like damn bruh you ain't gotta do that relax. But then the next match was with this really fucking cute girl!! Like she had an angelic voice and a sharp cane weapon and pink hair (kinda like that poison type chick from pokemon sword and shield actually) and during our fight we were just cool with each other. Like she was all tsundere at first but I was like "Ay just cause you're espada and I'm soul reaper that doesn't mean we have to hate each other." And it was crazy cause we were chilling together in the restaurant beforehand but she was all serious about serving Aizen and shit. So after I beat her, I spared her. Thankfully Aizen wasn't there (there were hundreds of matches at once) so she could flee with her life. But since no one died, we had to have a meeting with Aizen and she was defending me and shit!! Like she was like "bow you're head idiot!" And told Aizen they were sorry for breaking the rules. Thankfully Aizen was tired so he just waved a dismissive hand and left saying "I'm too tired to kill anyone today". It was lucky as fuck too cause he killed the last pair of people at the last meeting. Anyways, we went our ways and I found the girls house at one point, but when I walk inside I just see this guy on the couch yell at me and ask why I'm in his house and I said "uhh sorry I thought this was that girls house." And he just smirked and changed his voice to that of the girls and I was like YOOOOO WHAT :O and he was like ye I dress in drag so what? And I'm like idk you might be trans homie cause you looked hella happier as that girl and he was like "hah yeah right... Oh damn... Oh damn!... Oh damn!!!" Like an epiphany just broke through. So needless to say, I adopted her as a friend and she felt so much happier being in her girly attire and voice and it was just so sweet to have a trans gal pal with me (just gals being pals wink) and at one point we were all chilling together again all happy in the restaurant until this pair of transphobes walked up and started shitting on her for losing the match and saying "he" a bunch so I stood up and I was like "ay bitch you better back up or I'll beat yo ass. Meet me in the ring, fucker." But they backed off and I knew they would. And then she was so grateful and just hugged me and cute gay shit!! But then we went to her dad's house which, I guess was a pyramid? He was an ancient deceased pharaoh that could get out of his sarcophagus and walk around but he was really transphobic too and just put her down at every turn, but then I was like aw hell nah that's yo daughter you better love her or lose her you punk. And so we got in a Pokemon battle, naturally, but we could ban pokemon before hand (kinda like draft pick in league) and so I banned a Jolteon or Raichu idk I can't remember which and he was pissed cause he used electric types and the fight was super close but I won and I flipped him off and bounced with my girl and she, ash, brock, misty, and myself were all just chillin afterwards and enjoying ourselves and I'm just so fucking happy she found friends and was happier for herself like god I'm really happy for this dream transgirl espada I met <3
