many people have said this before me but i'm sorry i'm just gonna say it again. it's genuinely pretty disheartening when the likes to reblogs ratio of your textposts or random spn crackposts is SO much better than the ratio on your fics or other creations. cause it sort of gets you thinking on some level about if you should just stop posting content that takes hours to make, and only make posts that take like thirty seconds to type. writing or just creating is something everybody does for themselves, but things that get put up on someone's blog are for everyone, aren't they? and if people aren't really into it, then why would creators not just start to wonder what the point is?

i’ve cut so many things (like entire CHAPTERS) from the texting fic and rewritten stuff over and over again so many times that i’ve forgotten what is actually a part of it now. anyway, i am trying to write right now (i queued this for fun so imagine about an entire day before it posts or whatever) and i thought of an EXCELLENT joke that doesn’t work anymore because i cut the exchange that it happened in. i am very sad.
