doyoung x gn!reader | wc : 0.4k words | content : possible grammar and spelling mistakes, lowercase intended, highschool au, flirting | loki's lines : inspired by real life lmao >_< talking about this with minie made me realise how cool this would be as a short drabble fsdjhgj *sigh* life of a writer who is oh-so-single

piano. a sound that never failed to make you smile. there was something about pianos that calmed you, so you couldn’t help but be drawn to the sound when someone was playing.

the familiar tune of a popular song filled your ears, and being a musical child growing up, you couldn’t help but hum along quietly.

the humming soon became singing under your breath, but you stopped as soon as you started, not wanting anyone to draw any attention.

but as soon as your singing stopped, the piano melody came to a halt as well. you looked to see if the person had left the seat, only to see them staring back at you.

kim doyoung; the most talented person in your grade.

of course, he was the one playing the piano, you should’ve known. there was nothing kim doyoung couldn’t do — he was so full of talent. from being class president to the captain of the dance club, there was so much he could do.

“huh?” you looked around, wondering if anyone was bothered by the piano, but no one seemed to pay attention. “why’d you stop playing?” you asked, meeting his gaze.

doyoung shrugged. “because you stopped singing,” he answered, as if it was the most obvious answer.

you laughed, taking his words light-heartedly, gesturing him to continue playing. and he did. you stood next to him by the piano, singing along quietly as he played.

doyoung scooted to the side, patting the seat next to him for you to sit. so i can hear your singing better, he said. you complied, a smile on your face as you listened to the sweet melody.

“how long have you been playing?” you asked, quite curious about the oh-so-talented kim doyoung.

the male pondered over the question for a while, furrowing his brows. “ever since i was six,” he replied.

“have you played for any events?”

“nope. i’d really like to play at a wedding, though.”

you were so full of questions, and for someone like doyoung, who usually asked instead of answering, he appreciated your curiosity. you two were pretty sure your class had to practice for an upcoming assembly, but no one seemed to be bothered.

and that only meant you got to ask more questions, and doyoung got to answer them.

“maybe one day, if we are still in touch, that is …” you trailed off, a pout on your face as you thought about your words. “… maybe you can play at my wedding.” you grinned.

he tilted his head in response, seeming to think about your offer. “but i can’t stand next to you and play the piano, can i?” he inquired, breaking into a laugh as he watched the way you looked confused for a split-second before it dawned on you.

kim doyoung. his laugh was a sound that brought a smile to your face. there was something about kim doyoung that enchanted you, and you couldn’t help but be drawn to him.

my take on the red string of fate and how soulmates may suffer consequences from actions in their past lives. if you like slow shit that takes its time to build the atmosphere, i recommend this one because it felt like i took forever to get the simplest points across :D it was a fic where i wanted to draw a ‘what happened’ reaction from the audience rather than tying up everything in the end.

sci-fi, post-apocalyptic world where best friends get split up and try to find their way back to each other. i wrote this in action-movie structure, and it reads that way too. fleshed out world and i have been told that it’s really immersive too! not much to say without giving anything away :3

nothing special, really. just a personal favorite bc i’ve never been able to give justice to my own emotions better than i did in this fic. it’s about friendships and those that gnaw on the strings that keep two people tethered. 

roger rabbit — lee minho.

minho gets suspended and walks the line between that and expulsion, his friends want to save him but how? that’s the gist of it. a writing experiment (and my personal favorite), a story told from seven povs.

checkmate — ot8.

young, dumb, broke high school kids make stupid decisions on impulse. thriller fic about the aforementioned friend group in roger rabbit.

hi anon!! honestly i don’t really see a lottt of active writers for treasure but ravenori and acaiasahi have a ton of works, and i’ve seen some from trsrina as well! those authors write more drabbles/reactions though, not that it’s a bad thing but i’m not totally sure if that’s what you’re looking for. if you’re hoping for longer fics i’m afraid i can’t really help you cause i can’t think of any active accounts for that 💔 if it helps in any way, i plan on being an active writer! i just haven’t posted anything because im working on a really long fic right now but maybe i should post shorter stuff in the meantime LOLL but anyways thanks so much for coming to me and i hope i could help!!

“poor thing. imagine having to deal with your own boyfriend trying to flirt with you?”

hyunsuk snickered, turning away as you looked at him with a subtle glare before training your eyes on jihoon, who was laughing away with no care.

“y/n is probably getting flashbacks to the day they first met,” the younger male spoke, only laughing harder when you slapped his arm. “what?!”

“wait, what?” jaehyuk raised his brow in question. “what happened when they first met?”

you rolled your eyes playfully, gesturing towards the male who sat in front of you, doing his best at looking at you with a ‘sexy’ gaze. “pretty much this. this idiot was drunk, and he tried flirting with me–” you were cut off by an overly excited jihoon, unable to keep the rest of it to himself.

“–before he puked all over her. it was quite the sight,” he continued, laughing. “not the prettiest sight, but an entertaining one, for sure.”

jaehyuk looked confused, staring at your boyfriend before looking back at you. “you agreed to date him after that?” he checked, unsure if he was missing something. “even after he barfed on you? damn, i could never.”

“i didn’t think i could either, but what can i say? it’s the kim junkyu effect.”

the drunken male in front of you perked up at the mention of his name, the corners of his lips tilting upwards as he looked at you. “yep, kim junkyu, that’s my name! don’t overuse it.” he clicked his tongue, causing you to heave a hopeless sigh.

“please, stop. i’m losing my last brain cell as we speak.”

“it doesn’t matter what you lose, because at the end of the day, i’m yours — so who’s the winner here?”

your mouth fell open at your boyfriend’s words, turning to his friends, wondering which of them taught him to speak like that. but seeing their shocked expressions, especially jihoon’s, you realized it was really your junkyu trying to hit you up to the best of his abilities.

“so …” junkyu dragged, resting his face on his hands as he looked at you. “does this mean i can take you out on a date?” he asked, cracking a shy smile, which made your insides melt a little.

“well, i got good news and bad news for you.”

the brunet blinked slowly, trying to register your words before a small frown came on his face as he nodded. “what’s the bad news?” he looked worried for you, making your heart swell at his unintended cuteness.

“well, the bad news is that i have a boyfriend,” you answered, getting snickers from the others as they witnessed how you expertly handled your drunken boyfriend.

junkyu’s brows furrowed as he frowned even more. “then what’s the good news?” he inquired, observing you intently as you reached out with your hands.

“the good news is …” you smiled to yourself, softly pinching his flushed cheeks as you responded. “… you are my boyfriend, idiot.” junkyu tilted his head in confusion before a drunken smile adorned his face.

“well, what a pleasant surprise. that’s certainly some good news.”

i haven’t been feeling the best mentally and overall have just lost my passion. i’ve had writers block for a couple months now and i just lack the motivation i used to have. i have a lot of things going on in my life and time isn’t something i have much of anymore. so with that said i’m going on hiatus. this isn’t a permanent hiatus in any way- i will pop back in every once in a while, but for a while, i just won’t be active.
