Thoughts on William not attending the World Cup final? The video is was cute but it would be great if the boys also joined the video to show that it’s not only little girls they watch the women’s World Cup 😔
Disappointing but not exactly unexpected.
His video perfectly highlights the whole issue with him not going: Him treating the women different than he would have the men.
He wants us to believe he also couldn't have been arsed to do his job as president of the FA and fly out to Australia had it been the men playing the biggest possible final in international football. Personally gonna need to do some stretches before believing that but alright, let's say that was the truth. Would a video in support of the men's team also only feature Charlotte and not at least also George who we know is a football fan? Given that the only kid he's actually ever taken to see either of the NT's (the men) play is George, I somehow doubt it.
So even in Willy's half-assed attempt at saying "LOOK! I'm NOT treating the women any different than the men!"... he's treating them different than he would the men 🤡 Either by using Charlotte as a token, #girlpower, which we've progressed past like 5 years ago, or inadvertently revealing that George watches the men's team but not the women's team = that in the Wales household, they differentiate between the men and women and don't just support ENGLAND making it to a final 🫠
Don't know what disturbs me the most: Wilhelm's own obtuseness or the fact that he has NO ONE (0) in his staff capable of helping him comprehend that he is being obtuse.

300 Followers GiveAway
Some of you might remember card giveaways I’ve done in the past. Well I ordered another card lot and got over 300 followers so… IT’S TIME AGAIN!
There are 200 cards in this giveaway! The plan is to do “repacks” of 8 cards each, no repeats per pack. Cards are randomized but no two packs are the same. First 25 people to comment with their favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! character (any series!) get a “repack”.
Rules:
Only one entry per person.
I’m editing how entries work this time. You can either: leave a comment on the post with your favorite character OR you can reblog the post with #participant and #[favorite character]. Likes still do not count as entries.
Cards will be sent out when 25 people have commented.
Must be willing to give me a mailing address.
Can live anywhere in the world.
Not affiliated with Tumblr in any way. If you reblog, please DO NOT tag as #giveaway.
Ask/Message @setokaibaisgxtra if you have any questions!
Please boost, thank you! (If you boost, I’ll sketch you something. If you want a specific character drawn for you tag #boost or #signal boost and #[favorite character])
I will mail them with no charge to you but I will leave my ko-fi link here in case you want to donate to future giveaways.

William made sure to meet the Lionesses after they came third at the World Cup in 2015 so it's literally incorrect that he "does the bare minimum" for the girls but continue hating on William for no reason..
know a fence but considering that we’re talking about a person who attends aston villa matches, fa cup finals and men’s nt matches on the regular, i can’t do jack shit with “aCTUALLY one time he bothered to commend the women’s nt for taking home bronze at the most prestigious international football competition in the world (!!!!!!!) so he’s actually the biggest supporter of women’s football and you’re just a h8er” bc newsflash it doesn’t work like that my friend. and i’m not saying he should be out there supporting just any random team, i’m saying he could attend the women’s nt’s matches, the women’s fa cup final on par with how he support the men. what i am also saying is that the actual men’s team he does support has a women’s team as well so pls do me a favour and @ me the day he shows up for an aston villa ladies match and watch me become his biggest stan in pure respect of him supporting a second division women’s team
england has one of the most vibrant football cultures in europe but they also possibly have the most abhorrent lack of respect for women’s football in europe and the day william starts actually doing something to break down that general disrespect is the day it will be incorrect that he only does the bare minimum
and this goes for basically every royal who has their head fully enveloped in the Sports™ not just william

exactly! it’s inexcusable and shows how little he (and the rest of the royals who pull this shit) care about women

I need to rant a little and I think you'll understand, like I was watching tv and they were talking about how the English people and the English press think William and Kate aren't doing enough things and that Elizabeth is so old but still doing way more than them and I'm like?? She is the queen?? And they are not even the next in line of succession? I think they do enough tbh (sorry for the rant haha but I wanna know your opinion on this!)
Well, I think the real issue has been William. I think it’s legitimate to criticise him for ballsing around with that ridiculous second “gap year” he took – only to continue doing what he did before. It was pathetic, such a genuinely terrible decision. Like, it was so dumb that I’m still completely gobsmacked by it. Right now, I think he has got the drift. Both he and Kate have raised their workload and I think that’s great. Would them (and William in particular) going full-time be great? It would be more than great but this is a decent step along the way. I still, however, think it’s laughable that William somehow thinks there’s something ambiguous about the term “full-time royal” but yeah.
So tl;dr: I do think there’s room for improvement, I still don’t think they fully understand how important the impact they have and the media attention they get can be in terms of putting focus on social issues – regardless of William only being third in the line of succession to the throne. Also let’s not delude ourselves into thinking that being a royal somehow is tough work. But I do think they have improved and if they continually expand their work load, I don’t think it’s a problem at this point.

LMAO, sam, Zelia! They are just flowers! William seems the kind of man that can bear the thought to wear something pick because "pink is for girls!!!". I love Daniel, he doesn't give a fuck about that and happily carries Victoria's flowers. (This has been a Daniel appreciation post) xD
I think it’s pathetic. I love William as much as the next girl but yiKES. Yikes, yikes, yikes. And honestly, what’s most disturbing to me is watching people do crazy mental gymnastics to somehow justify this repeated and apparently inherent sexism of his. When people are like “it’s just a bouquet of flowers, it’s NOT THAT DEEP”… Yes. Yes, it is that deep. Especially when you add it to his repeated comments about Charlotte being oh-so “ladylike”. Because this is a perfect example of the very inherent veiled misogyny that exists in our society. A fear of (what fragile, sad manbabies perceive as) the feminine. “Oh, no, I can’t be seen carrying a bouquet of flowers because I’m a big manly man”. It’s not ok and I’d wish that even his most passionate supporters had enough self-awareness to actually call him out on this. I mean, hey, I, too, have a special place in my heart for William but no. No. Don’t justify, don’t romanticise that kind of behaviour.

Charles rarely goes to church and hasn't spent Easter with the queen or the royals in a long time. So why does Richard only complain about William? Lmao. He complains there aren't any good story's to write about on the royals, when in fact there are, but he only likes Kate, William, and Harry and forgets the others exsist
It’s so dumb. SO DUMB. If you’ve been following my blog for only a short amount of time, you’ll know that I don’t shy away from criticising William, Catherine or any royal when it’s due. There’s a line between giving them reasonable criticism and just talking shit about them for no reason, and RP crossed that line long time ago. He’s just acting like a whiny pissbaby at this point but admittedly, I find his tantrums hilarious.

re what you wrote on twitter: it is not just a matter of intrusion of will and kate and the kids privacy taking unauthorized photos of george and charlotte is HARASMENT and the paparazzi guilty of this should be shot
Here’s the thing: unauthorised pictures are a pain in the ass but come with the territory. Whether George and Charlotte’s daddy-o likes it or not, they are public people, there’s a public interest in them and there will be as long as they’re members of the BRF. Yes, having long lens cameras up your arse must suck and I’m really not arguing that harassment or stalking (which, newsflash, this is not) should be tolerated, but let’s be proportional here – weighed up against all the benefits of being a royal it’s really not that bad (and frankly, as someone coming from a working class home where it sometimes has been really tough to make ends meet, it offends me so deeply that people are victimising them, this is SUCH an ignorant first world problem).
These pictures are what we make them out to be. No one’s forcing you to look at them. If they offend you so much, just don’t look at them. Simple as that. By looking at them, YOU add to the public interest, YOU contribute to the demand of these pictures and YOU are a part of the problem.
In regards to a possible solution to this problem: whenever it’s suggested that William and Catherine use the same approach to the press as e.g. Victoria and Daniel, it’s commonly argued that the BRF is in a league for itself compared to other royal families (I don’t necessarily disagree with that) and thus it wouldn’t work (that, on the other hand, I really disagree with). But come the fuck on now, let us not pretend that they’re even trying. William isn’t taking any constructive measures to prevent these unauthorised pictures from being taken besides making The World’s Lousiest PR-Dude® Jason write a bitter-sounding letter in which he objects to it. They could try releasing KP authorised pictures every now and then. We’ve gone roughly three months now without new pictures of the children – in the span of these three months, unauthorised pictures haven’t happened and considering the immense public interest, that’s really quite impressive. So let’s ask ourselves: what can we derive from this? If William and Catherine release a picture or two once every second or third month, the demand for unauthorised pictures might not be as big and more importantly, unauthorised pictures wouldn’t be justified (which they arguably are now). If it doesn’t work, no big deal, they can just scrap it. Try something new. What bothers me is that they aren’t even trying. William is just moaning about normality and intrusion of privacy. It also bothers me that these new pictures have triggered comments such as, “it’ll just cause William and Catherine to withdraw the children even more” (paraphrasing like a mother fucker) because NO. Just no. That’s really the WORST IMAGINABLE reaction to this. Because a reaction like that will cause the press to get even crazier and the hunt to be even more brutal.
And lastly, I love George and Charlotte as much as the next girl but sorry, not fucking sorry, I’m not going to lose sleep because unauthorised pictures have been taken of two ridiculously privileged children when there are Syrian refugee children who die in pursuit of reaching a country safe from war. When there are children out there who live below the poverty line. When there are children who struggle just to get something to eat every day. No offence but your sense of reality is completely astray (and I’m just going to ignore that last part because wOW).

you're not a royal but you act like an expert of royals
Oh, so you can’t be a doctor unless you’re ill? What are you talking about? A “full-time royal”, a royal who does royal engagements full-time, IT’S LITERALLY THE LEAST AMBIGUOUS TERM OUT THERE. I’ll go out on a ledge and say that, uhm, no, you do not have to be a royal to know that.

Wait what's this about William? Sorry, I've been offline all day and I'm a bit late to the party
Oh, it’s not from today – I’m the one who’s late to the party – it’s the air ambulance crap again. It’s a strange truth/rumour thing because it’s coming from Niraj Tanna who is a known ass-kisser of them. So yeah, as far as I know there is no official confirmation, and it could be lies but there’s also a great possibility that it’s true.

Hello sorry if this is like a stupid question or observation though. Is doing a lesser number of public engagements good or bad? And maybe the reason why the prince William dude is doing lesser engagements is because of a new baby? Sorry.
Hi! It’s not stupid at all – there are no such things as stupid questions :)
That pretty much depends on where in the line of succession you are and/or whether you have a proper job next to your public engagements (e.g. when William was in the RAF). I think it’s staggering that the 2nd in line to the throne has less public engagements than the 33rd and 23rd in line to the throne. And don’t even begin to mention the fact that he isn’t certain yet as to whether he wants to become a full-time working royal already. That’s just my opinion though, I'm not British so I technically couldn't care less. I like William and Catherine, but it is healthy to be critical of your faves.
As for using George being the reason why he doesn’t step up his game – I’m sure that’s what he’s using as an excuse. That he “needs to find a balance between being a royal and a father”. And he only needs to look at the various European royal families to know that it is PERFECTLY manageable to be a full-time working royal AND be a great parent.

what do you think of william wanting to get back into flying?
On one hand, William is “only” second in line to the throne. There is a tendency to compare William and Catherine to Frederik and Mary, Victoria and Daniel, Felipe and Letizia etc. but the truth is that they aren’t at the same “level” in the line of succession and can’t be expected to do the same amount of work as the others do.
When that is said though, I think it is time for William to adjust to his future. That was one of the reasons why he stopped at the RAF – to get a more present role as a public person. He has been coddled and sheltered enough, now it is time for him to come out of his shell and show his face to the public, that’s royalty 101.
On that subject, I think William has a severe problem. I might get shit for saying this but I don’t really care all that much (sorry not sorry, come at me bro), but William has a sad tendency to come off as a spoilt sourpuss who would much rather live a quiet life with his wife and son – to an extend where he seems extremely bothered at the idea that he should become a full-time working royal and step up his game. To some extend his desire for normality is an entirely understandable desire but also a non-acceptable wish for someone in his position. You can’t have your cake and eat it too and if he doesn’t step up his game soon, he’ll realise that the hard way. Neither the public nor the press will continue to be overbearing with him (or Catherine for that matter, they need to watch their vacation game).
I have been rambling for a few paragraphs now but the bottom line is: I think it would be very unwise of William to pursue more flying in the future. His time as a full-time working royal has come and he must adjust to that. I don’t doubt he will – I will be severely surprised should HM grant him permission to go around and play Mr 39th-in-line-of-succession for a few more years because that will just add fuel to the already quite hefty flames surrounding his persona.
