THIS IS A POSITIVE POST bc i know starting a sentence with this is scary: @rigsbywi your comic is being posted on the SA webcomic thread right now and when i jumped from the pages being posted by the poster back to modern day, it really blew my mind how much your art has developed in the last 4 years. like, i hope this doesn't come off as underhanded because your art has always been like, aspirationally good imo, but in general the current pages are sooooo confident feeling in the style you're developing. the change in how you portray speech bubbles, the change in how you do line work, and the improved lighting are like. that shit's crazy dude. that's what webcomics is ABOUT

It’s a webcomic set in the early 00′s about a group of teenage friends living in a small town. It’s character-driven and focuses on their lives, past and present, and how certain events influence the way they grow as people. I was originally a fan of the author when they were doing their original webcomic, but they took a long break and are now totally making it over as a new thing with the same cast. 

I love S E Case’s art style and I just really love this story and these characters... it’s not very long yet! We are only just getting into chapter 2. So now is a great time to check it out and favorite the page so you can check for updates!

I never post these days, but in the interest of great artists not getting the support they deserve, I wanted add a yelp to the void: This is one of the best webcomics out there (the dialogue, the scenery, the characters...) and deserves all the patrons on patreon.

When I lived in Maybeland, students asked me about high school in the USA. I usually just tried to warn them (as if they didn’t know), it wasn’t Hollywood. S. E. Case breathes a side of modern America into her panels in a way that is bitterly honest, funny, melancholy and compelling. Go read Rigsby,WI and if possible support the author financially too. She’s not asking much and she’s amazing.
