Okay so I’ve already shot off some ideas about Riza and Ed in this headcanon but let’s see with Roy added to the mix. AHEM!

- Clown man has been known to, on occasion, drop on on Ed and Riza’s “lets bitch about romance being overvalued” meetings. His presence evolves it into a drinking game.

- I mean. Riza knew Roy when they were younger. There’s a lotta room for interpretation so my thoughts are that they both were like “sexual attraction? Nah” and thus thought it was normal. Like cool? You too? Must be everyone. This goes on.

- for many, many years

- Roy’s brothel/bar-raised-ass is already desensitized to that kind of stuff anyways so the idea of anything Like That is inundated with everyday life.

- It takes BOTH OF THEM until Hughes has his daughter to figure this out cause they thought locker room talk was all showboating and bullshit... apparently not! What the shit!

- Please. Please I beg. Think about freshly military initated Ed squinting at Riza and Roy like “hum. Hummmmmmmm doth I smell people Like Me?” Not that he know what ‘like him’ means but you kno. Queers can just sense each other

- hi hello i would like to see a Simple Honest conversation between the three of them. No dicking about, no dancing around the topic. Just a clean, honest talk cause they all Get It and its incredibly nice and validating to just Talk About It

- Riza associating physical intimacy with friendships and nothing more. Romance is mostly divorced from that for her.
