Hey Ruroken comunity, so long! I am a little scared of watching the new anime and not liking it as much as the old one. Does it still have blood? Did they change the characters? Is the plot "cleaned" for kids?
One of the things I loved most about the anime was the maturity with which things were handled, without babying the audience and yet not jumping into gory detail.

Hahaha I remember the first time I found out he was actually around his 30s when I was still following the old anime series for Rurouni Kenshin back in the 90s. I was really surprised. And Kaoru is 17 I believe around this time.
But maaan... This brings back so many fond memories. I'm so happy they remade this anime. This was one of my childhood faves and Kenshin was one of my anime crushes back then ☺️
