Yes, I actually want to write my headcanon/fanfiction on what happened between Hashirama and Madara (the sinister thing, believe me, it’s not nsfw) that made Madara leave. Had like 500 words, but then I was repairing power plug which needed me to turn off the fuses, I forgot to save the file, my computer shut off, so I’ve lost everything. Now I’m personally insulted and won’t write it.

|| What were your feelings on Nawaki dying, when he was supposed to be safe under your leadership?

The Snake Sage would rather not talk about his...feelings on the matter. Though if they could be described in a a word, he would prefer ‘numb’. 

Nawaki’s death had been a miscalculation on his part. The boy wasn’t supposed to die - Orochimaru had made very careful with his Genin team, since it was the first set of lives he had been entrusted with. As a Konoha shinobi, he was nothing if not loyal to the village but his Genin team was his second family after the idiots he called teammates. 

Nawaki wasn’t supposed to die. Despite the fact that it happened during war, despite the fact that Orochimaru had been careful enough to have his team skirt the frontlines rather than risk engaging the enemy directly. 

He should have been more careful - maybe if he had anticipated the traps before Nawaki had jumped in...iie, like I said, it was a miscalculation. One that cost him his faith in humanity and the resilience of human beings. 

Humans are frail creatures, after all. 

Needless to say, the guilt is one of the reasons he still keeps the Senju’s cells in a special, sealed scroll. Nobody, perhaps not even Tsunade, is aware that when he promised to bring her lover and brother back, he wasn’t entirely referring to the Nindaime’s forbidden technique. 

The guilt is a constant thorn prickling the back of his subconscious.
