am i the only one who feels like alex(the world ender guy) was kind of a missed oportunity in vide noir? like, he was set up by johnnie to be a badass gang leader just for him to never even appear in the end, we just got a close up to his face scar

i feel like buck's encounter with the psychic would've been way more powerful if it was alex instead. its implied that johnnie and moonbeam had a relationship ig, but its barely even hinted at, and he never even mentions her. but with johnnie and alex, johnnie actually mentions him and speaks highly of his brother, and says alex will help buck if he sees the red cloth that belonged to johnnie

the fact that all that build up led to buck not even TALKING to alex kinda irks me. imagine how much better the payoff would be if alex had received the cloth instead of moonbeam? if we had seen his reaction to johnnie's death? if he would've helped buck like johnnie said he would? if we saw what johnnie implied alex would do to the guys who black brained his brother? idk man i think we were robbed

No I gotta agree on that. Like I LOVED seeing Moonbeam and getting know her as her and having all this new information about her (her being part of the World Enders is still wild to me and I love it) and it’s a good scene and all, but I’m still confused as to why they built up Alex so much, especially since this is the first time we’re hearing about him, and he never even got the chance to speak. If it were Dale I’d be a bit more understanding as we know him already (tho not by much cause I would have loved to see more of Dale). But it’s Alex, whose not only the leader of the World Enders but also Johnnie’s (and Dale’s) brother. I would’ve have loved to, you know, actually meet the guy. Especially with how much build up he got. And I GET IT Lord Huron’s lore is meant to be weird and vague and hard to pin down but like. Didn’t need to tease me like that come on

The only reason I could think of was maybe they needed to get Buck on his own again? Like having this the beginning of a war between the World Enders and Z’Oieasu shown or having Buck work with them consistently might have thrown off the tone. It is supposed to be Buck’s story and his own descent into madness. The whole album has this isolated vibe to me, like being alone in a city of people Hard to get that when there’s other people around, especially a group as lively as the world enders. Or maybe they just wanted to include Moonbeam back into the story again lol

GOD I would have loved to see Moonbeam’s scene with Buck done with Alex. I can only imagine how that scene would’ve played out and his reaction to Johnnie’s death. Contrasting Buck’s scene with Johnnie with Alex’s own personality, the possible dynamics, the anger and grief that could arise…..ough

My thoughts on 13RW Season 4 (SPOILERS)

So I originally wasn’t going to write a review, because if I’m completely honest, I’m still in shock by that finale... but here we go...

Overall, I enjoyed this season a lot more than season 3. This time, we didn’t have Ani’s annoying narration, that weird crap that was Bryce/Ani and that Bryce “redemption” bullshit that the writers shoved down our throats last season, so kudos for that. Too bad the ending fucked everything up.

Now, let’s go character by character:

Jessica: Jessica has always been my favorite character (besides Hannah), so I was really disappointed by her arc this season... if we can call it that. Her reaction to Justin breaking up with her was really immature. I understand that she was hurt, but Justin was right, he wasn’t in a position to be in a relationship and needed to focus on his recovery, so for Jessica to go after the first guy she could find (Diego) to get back at him... it was shitty. Also, what the hell, Jessica? Diego spent the whole season tormenting Clay and defending Tyler’s rapist. Aren’t Clay and Tyler your friends? Why are you sleeping with someone who is messing with people you claim to care about? And please don’t say it’s for “information”, because you clearly liked him, even tho he was an asshole. Once again, the writers made Jessica’s storylines all about boys, first it was Alex and Justin, now it was Justin and Diego. And to give one final “fuck you” to her character, they implied she ended up with Diego. “Ask me in a month”, um, so it’s going to take you a month to get over Justin? Okay, cool.

Clay: I’ve always loved Clay. Always. He’s flawed, he’s stupid, he’s too stubborn... but he cares. I’ll say this tho, he was a complete ASSHOLE towards Justin during that party, and he should have apologized for all those awful things he said, because that shit was NOT okay. I appreciate that he got help, and Dr. Ellman was a fantastic character, but his arc got old real fast. Clay has some fucked up hallucinations, Clay has a breakdown and makes a scene in front of people, Clay claims everything is fine when clearly it’s not. We get it, he thinks he’s Batman and can handle all this shit alone. Well, clearly, he can’t.

Ani: I’ll admit, I actually liked Ani this season. I think it’s because her screentime was reduced (she missed big moments like the camping trip and the shooting drill), and she wasn’t inserting herself in everyone’s business like last season. I appreciate her standing up for her friends against Winston and apologizing to Jessica for sleeping with Bryce, but that NEVER should have happened. It was weird as hell how she kept defending Bryce in s3, insisting he wasn’t a monster (he was a serial rapist who raped your friend, how is that not a monster). Her “explanation” as to why she slept with Bryce was crap. “I was lonely and stupid”, well, aww!! Lots of people are lonely and stupid, but that isn’t an excuse to defend a serial rapist and sleep with him multiple times. And even before she slept with him, she kept hanging out with him, playing poker and laughing like nothing was wrong. Weird as hell. At the end of the day, I still don’t know who Ani is, other than “the girl who liked Bryce and then liked Clay.” I’m 100% grateful that she and Clay broke up, that was never going to work, so I’ll drink to that. It was also annoying how she and Clay took their sweet time to tell the others about Winston. STOP KEEPING SECRETS. I still insist that the writers should have kept Sheri and Ani shouldn’t have existed.

Zach: Seriously, where the hell was Zach’s mom to check on her son? The whole season was basically “oh, look, Zach’s drunk!!” He was a hot mess and all his friends didn’t do shit to help him until the last minute. I know Winston manipulated him, but seriously, telling the enemy that you beat up Bryce?? Not cool, dude. And don’t get me started on that scene where they “implied” he was going to assault that drunk girl. Zach has flaws, sure, but he ISN’T a rapist, and neither is Clay (I’m talking about that weird scene where he hallucinates Bryce encouraging him to assault that girl at the frat house). The writers clearly didn���t give a fuck about Zach. Remember in s2 when he told his mom he had suicidal thoughts?? What happened to that?? I’m glad he came to his senses in the end, but he obviously needed help with his addiction.

Tyler: I felt bad for Tyler because his friends didn’t trust him, but I also sorta get it. He was acting hella shady and I get that the cops told him not to say anything, but... dude, you scared the living hell out of Clay with those guns at the end of s2, how are your friends not going to be suspicious? Like in 13RW fashion, his storyline got dragged for too long, but I think he was right when he called out Clay and Tony about their friendship. I liked his friendship with Estela, that was sweet. But overall Tyler didn’t get that much to do this season. I didn’t like how they made him feel bad about Monty. Monty raped him and belonged in jail, it isn’t Tyler’s fault someone decided to kill him.

Alex: GAY KING. The only character who didn’t annoy me this season (besides Charlie). Bryce and Monty apologists, how are you feeling?? My boy didn’t go to jail like y’all wanted it!! No “justice” for the rapists!! Beautiful, amazing, brilliant. In all seriousness, I wish his crush on Zach had been explained a bit more. I don’t think it came out of nowhere, but it would have been nice to spend more time with it. I don’t know how I feel about the whole thing with Winston, he was a Monty apologist so I didn’t want to see another one of my faves sleeping with a rape apologist, so I’m glad he found out the truth in time. Charlie and Alex were so cute together, I wanted him with Zach, but I can’t bring myself to complain because ALEX GOT A HAPPY ENDING, YAY!! He regretted killing Bryce, but it’s like Zach said “maybe he didn’t deserve to die, but NEITHER DO WE”, and he was right. Alex didn’t deserve to have his whole life ruined over a fucking rapist, so I’m glad he got happiness. I just wish his recovery arc after his suicide attempt had been done better, he’s the only character in the show who is a suicide survivor and they never focused on that. Shame, tbh.

Tony: I don’t have much to say about Tony. He was being hella stubborn about not going to college and staying in town, so I’m glad his dad knocked some sense into him. He got a happy ending and got to see his sister again, so that was nice. Tony always had to deal with so much crap, so I’m happy he ended up happy.

Winston: Now this dude didn’t annoy me as much as I thought he would, but... he was weird. He became obsessed with Monty after meeting him twice, and then obsessed with Alex after dating him for two weeks. What was his reason?? Why did he fall in love so quickly?? I thought we were going to get some backstory to explain his behavior, but we didn’t get shit, except that scene in the first episode with his mom where he seemed like some lonely rich kid. I’m glad he let go of Monty in the end and didn’t ruin Alex’s life, but other than making a bunch of passive-aggressive comments and staring at people, he didn’t do much. The trailer made him seem like some mastermind villain, and in the end... he wasn’t.

Diego: How are you going to spend the whole season calling Clay a psycho/crazy, when you’re out there pulling pranks, beating people up, and defending a rapist?? Check yourself first, Diego. He was so annoying with his “I miss Monty” crap, like how are you going to give a big speech about how great Monty was when Tyler, the guy he raped, was sitting right in front of you??!!  I wish he had faced some consequences for all the shit he did to Clay, like “omg, you brought a knife!!, dude YOU left the knife in there. I’m glad he let things go in the end, but JFC, he was annoying. When Zach told him to suck his dick, I cheered so hard.

Justin: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... HA. I’m laughing because I don’t wanna start crying again. Are the writers fucking serious?? After EVERYTHING they did with Justin, turning him into a better person, making him Clay’s brother, getting him back together with Jessica, EVERYTHING...and he dies?? And even before his death, they needed to torture him one last time and kill off his mom, have Clay and Jessica treat him like shit, and make him feel like nobody wanted him. Wow, what a brilliant idea. The series finale would have been perfect if they hadn’t killed off Justin. He deserved to graduate and live a long, happy life. I think the writers just wanted to have one final tragedy and controversial storyline, so they did this cruel and unnecessary crap. I’m disgusted, tbh.

Bryce and Monty: I’m so, so happy we got ZERO Bryce flashbacks and ZERO Monty flashbacks. FUCK these two rapists. I didn’t feel sorry for either of them, and I hope future shows do better and the humanizing of rapists stops. We already know rapists are human, they aren’t aliens who come from another planet, but the focus needs to be on the VICTIMS. I know they weren’t going to bring back Katherine Langford and Brandon Larracuente for a 5-second cameo, but hallucination!Justin should have been hanging out with Hannah and Jeff, not Bryce. Bryce wasn’t Justin’s brother, he treated him like shit and raped his girlfriend, and the whole “it’s okay to love people who do bad shit” is bullshit. There’s nothing wrong with hating rapists/abusers and bad people in general (like racists, homophobes, etc). Well, at least the two rapists are dead and can never hurt anyone again.

Say whatever you want about Hannah Baker, but this show suffered a HUGE loss when Katherine walked out of that door during her final scene.

They should have sent Bryce’s ass to jail at the end of s2, and the last two seasons should have been about ALL the character’s recoveries, with everyone getting proper characterization, good storylines, and focus on the friendships and family dynamics. The murder mystery and cover-up stuff ended up being really stupid and pointless. The writers prioritized shock value over proper storytelling, and that’s a shame because the cast is really talented, and the characters had the potential to be better than what they actually were.

Goodbye, 13 Reasons Why. I’ll check out the cast’s future projects, but the writers/producers can GTFO.

How I feel about this character

I LOVE HE. He is an angel, he is my son, protect at all costs. I seriously have a lot of respect for his character growth and he’s such a huge goofy sweetheart really (tries so hard to be polite to his seniors even tho he’s bad at it, does things for people without them asking like buying drinks for a rival team and throwing a whole giant party for kuroko’s birthday) plus he’s a kickass baller, boi got them skills and worked really hard for them. I’ll never not gush about this guy tbh, even years after this show stopped being relevant, I’m still in deep and Kagami’s just fantastic 10/10

Alrighty *cracks knuckles* I don’t think his list is as long as the one for Aomine (I ship that boy like a whore we’re talking pages), but I’m still multishipping trash so buckle up.

Akashi (I like the rich boy/city boy dynamic they could have, and the idea of Kagami helping give Akashi the chance to loosen up, while Akashi helps Kagami  become more refined and try new things)

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Tie between Alex and Himuro, I just want these three to be a weird-ass found family that loves each other and gets into all the shenanigans. Tho I guess I lean more toward Himuro, I have a tiiiny bit of trouble shipping him with Kagami romantically as anything but a past flame, but I LOVE their relationship as snarky but soft bros. Those utterly incomprehensible friends who are inseparable, basically family and full of inside jokes and past experiences that bond them and make them who they are.

My unpopular opinion about this character

NOT. 👏  A. 👏  BOTTOM. Idk if this is necessarily an unpopular opinion now (it doesn’t seem to be such a thing anymore), but I used to have some major beef with the way Kagami was represented by the fandom, at least within most of the content I was seeing. Often he was portrayed as this shy/scared blushing virgin stereotype that’s Nothing like how he’s represented in canon. And an exclusive bottom, which… come on. Boy is a switch at most. This was back during peak KNB hype though, I don’t take issue with what I’ve seen from the remaining fandom nowadays. If anything I agree wholeheartedly with the direction fanon Kagami seems to be going, keep it up y’all.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I wish they hadn’t had him fly the fuck off to America in the last game movie, that wasn’t in the script  

Contradicting myself a bit here, but I wish we could have seen more of his time in America and gotten to know more about his friends and family. He comes across as a real lone wolf esp in the beginning of the show, but he seems to have people he likes, or at least some recurring faces, overseas and I’d like to know more about them. Give me more character backstory dammit!

I know you have all been taking your time writing up your opening statements, and I’d definitely take time to rehearse and polish what you have to say. The jurors are eager to hear from you and get an understanding why you deserve to win this game, which took over a month of all of your lives haha.

Jurors, this is what we call Rights of Passage. The final four prepared statements for you guys because you are their Fallen Comrades. Ultimately, without all of you, these guys would not be sitting where they are today. They had to vote out each of you to get to the finals, and this is a post about paying respects for the people who played this game, so without further ado, here we go...

Brett: Tbh I thought we were going to be great allies in this game. Little did I know you didn’t want to play at all. So seeing you get voted out was kinda sad but not at all surprising

Brett: Not really a smart move to drop different names to different people because word gets around and people talk, or so I’ve heard. 

Dylan: Pierre it was sad to see you go. I'll make it up to when this is all over baby.

Bobby: Sorry Josh. I heard of how great of a player and how deadly of a threat you are and went with the decision to eliminate you early. I have a lot of respect for you dude and I’m sure you’ll do big things next game!

Jay: My Boy! You’ll always be my son (Little) and I know we are boys outside of this game. When it came to this game I know I had to do things differently and by sending you home it gave me a new identity. I’m sorry you went so early.

Bobby: I love you bro. I’m sorry it had to end the way it did, I was hoping you would make it to the merge.

Brett: I’m so sorry you went out dude. You really didn’t do anything wrong. I had to lie to save my own ass and I hope you understand that.  

Dylan: I did not see you going home that round. That was a complete shocker

Jay: I really enjoyed getting to know you on my first tribe, and would’ve loved to keep working with you at merge, but sadly that didn’t happen.

19th Place: Alex Resnik:

Brett: You played hard. I caught on to what you were doing. 

Dylan: Buddy I still love u bud. We can chill in the pub when we go back bud 

18th Place: Zach Burruano:

Bobby: You played a great game and went hard at challenges. After the Josh vote,  I wasn’t sure who you were talking to, so you were a target in my eyes. I’ve heard about big moves you’ve made, and I’m excited to see what you’ll do in the future!

Brett: Kind of a shock that you were voted out. I didn’t really expect it

Jay: Dear Jimmy, I was really sad to see you go. You know this is a game and like I said in josh’s post, I had do things differently. You know outside of this game you’re my boy. I’m sorry you were voted out so early. Hopefully Jimmy will let me come to buffalo to get some Tim Hortons and drink Buffalo’s sweet Nectar (Labatt).  

17th Place: Flynn Townsend:

Bobby: Sorry dawg, I knew that you weren’t taking the game very seriously, so you were an easy target. I felt bad placing that vote tho bud. I’m excited to see what you do in the future!

Brett: Completely shocked that you got booted 8-1. Completely did not see that coming 

Jay: You are an amazing kid and I’m excited to see what you end doing in this frat. But for Survivor lol you never talked to me, so that was a reason you went home. 

16th Place: Justin Wooster:

Bobby: Sorry Justin, I wanted to see more of you but eliminating Sam would’ve not been great for me. I’ve heard great things about you though, and I’m excited to play with you in the future!

Brett: I greatly appreciate the fact that you covered for me during the whole incident with my exposed vote. I’m not sure how you did it. 

Dylan: It was a complete mind boggle seeing you go home. You played a hell of a game bud 

Jay: Really sad you were voted out before the merge, we could’ve really done some damage together, but things didn’t work out. If only Gary Jones could help you get of this mess maybe things would be different. 

15th Place: Ethan Konigsberg:

Brett: I’m not sure why you were gunning to get me out since literally day 1. I’m sorry to say the alliance you and I made on day 1 wasn’t real. Also you kinda messed up the story that Johnny told us.

Jay: Tony Soprano the LEGEND was knocked off too early RIP . 

14th Place: Henry Feigen:

Bobby: Henry, the small period that I was on the same tribe as you, I saw you go hard in multiple challenges. I respect your hustle and grind bro. I was sad to see you go. 

Brett: You played a hell of a game. You were just kinda guilty by association. I really would’ve liked to align with you had things gone different.

Dylan: Dad it was very sad seeing you go. I wanted the original plan to happen

Jay: I was really looking forward to working with you and Ryan again once we got to the merge, but sadly that didn’t happen. You were going to do great in this game like you did last year. Hopefully going out early has given time to reflect and most importantly work on your next banger. Can’t wait to talk soon. 

13th Place: Sam Myers:

Bobby: I’m sorry it had to end this way, Sam. You’re right, you are a good competitor but you openly talked with a lot of people which created a target on your back. You were a good ally and I kept my word that I wouldn’t turn on you until the merge. After the merge, however, you were too much of a target and threat to keep around. Love you, bro.

Brett: You know how to play. You know how to play HARD. Your name was being thrown around an awful lot and I just had to vote with the majority. I hope you understand that

Dylan: No hard feelings bud? It is a game and I still love ya. GO BIRDS

Jay: For all the Beef people think you and I have I actually really appreciated you in the game. I had a good time talking to you, but once things hit the fan with everyone, you had to go. I’m excited to talk to you soon and catch up. 

12th Place: Sam Abramson:

Bobby: Sam, I had a great time making some big moves together early in the game. After the merge, however, you had made moves on the other side and you clearly called the shots on your alliance. This created a target on your back and I viewed you the same. You’re a great competitor and a smart player!

Brett: We were great allies, we talked game together, and we schemed together. I was shocked that you were voted out. But after that tribal council I found out why. No hard feelings brother it’s just a game.    

Dylan: You’re from New England. Pats suck. GO BIRDS Super Bowl 52. Come back for real Survivor bud 

Jay: My Guy! You really surprised me with how much knowledge you had for the game. You were so much fun to work with and someone I actually really enjoyed talking to outside of the game. It was great to talk to you on a game level, I do miss you and happy you’re enjoying UMass. Excited to catch up soon. 

11th Place: Tyler Usen:

Bobby: Sorry Tyler, you found yourself on the wrong end of two alliances. You played a really good game and flew under the radar really well. However, as we reached the final 11, you became a target. I enjoyed working with you early and loved the competitiveness you brought to challenges. 

Brett: I’m terribly sorry you were voted out. You were extremely good at the immunity challenges pre-merge and I was threatened by you in that I felt like I couldn’t win against you in the end. I hope you understand and congrats on a great game played! 

Dylan: Giants suck. Go Birds. I am sorry I had to send you home bud. We’ll go at it in Gulag if you want 

Jay: I love you. You’re the fucking man and I’m so sorry about what happened. Shit hit the fan and at the end of the day things just didn’t work out. You played great game and I absolutely loved working together. Can’t wait to catch up soon.   

10th Place: Alex Bramson:

Bobby: Brammy, you played your role well as a guy you can count on for a vote throughout the game. When I found out that you were playing both sides and telling people about my alliance of six however, I had to do what I had to do. Love you buddy. 

Brett: You had a great social game and you played a little like I did. We had each others back throughout this game and my loyalty remained to you. 

Dylan: Brammy Boy I’m sorry but it was because you didn’t show up to tribal

Jay: Outside of this game you’re the man and I’m really going to miss you. Please come to bucks games, and I’ll come to Chicago. Meanwhile, in this game, you barley talked to me. I wish we could’ve had more of a relationship in the game. Maybe that’s my fault, because we could’ve worked really well together. It’s impressive how far you made it with all the votes you were getting each round. I respect it and I hope to see you soon. 

9th Place: RJ Pfleuger:

Bobby: RJ, this one really hurt. However, I had to get rid of your alliance with you, Avi and Goodman to stay in the majority. I’m sorry! Love you bro!

Brett: RJ you DID NOT deserve to get snaked out at all. You were a great player all around and I’m sorry that you ended up getting the boot. 8th: Avi Zucker: Avi! You were a great player, but I was a little suspicious about how the votes panned out when RJ went to jury. Someone flipped and we had no other options. 

Dylan: I didn’t work with you that much. Im sorry bud you played a good game

Jay: You’re my Troy boy for life (BLAH BLAH BLAH). RJ it wasn’t fun seeing you go, I loved talking to you each and every day about the game but also all the bullshit going on in our lives.  This is game and at the end of the day you stood in my way of getting to this point again. It hurt to do it, but I had to. I know after this game will be remain boys, but now I would appreciate it if we can talk soon. 

8th Place: Avi Zucker:

Bobby: Avi, we had a really good run making it late in the game together. I trusted you from the moment we started working together early in the game, and I kept that trust into late in the game. Honestly, when you told Goodman that Ryan was gonna vote for him it hurt my trust a little bit. That choice caused a big problem that I had to clean up by voting out RJ, you and Goodman. I really didn’t wanna see you go, but I couldn’t fully trust you knowing that you worked so closely with Goodman and RJ. I love you bro, you played an excellent game. I’m very sorry It had to end the way it did.

Bobby: I’m sorry bro, I really wish that I could’ve been in the game later with you. However, I knew how much of a threat you were, and you weren’t in my group of 5 with Ryan, Dylan, Jay, Max and I. You played an excellent game and was a great competitor during challenges. I’m sorry it had to end this way, love you bro!

Brett: Goodman you killed it in the endurance challenge in the beginning of this game. I truly did want to work with you till the very end. 

Dylan: Goody I hope you’re not super mad at me. I still love ya and you need to come back for real Survivor too. You played a great game

Jay: There’s nothing I need to say here that you already don’t know. You know how much I love you and you this is a game. We both understood that me or you couldn’t end up in the finals together, and because of that you had to go. You know that you are the best competitor in this game, and from a game standpoint that’s why you had to go. It wasn’t easy voting off a good friend, but I knew I needed to do it to end up in the finals. I know we will be boys after this game and I’m excited to talk to you soon. 

6th Place: Ryan Valentin:

Bobby: Ryan, you truly did live up to the expectations I had of you based on your prior success. You controlled your alliance and kept yourself in the majority the entire game. I saved your ass when I changed my vote last second to Bramson, and that was because I respected your game and wanted to keep you around. You played an excellent game; I can see how you’ve won in the past. I’m excited to play with you in the future. 

Brett: Ryan, Ryan, Ryan. What can I say? It was a hell of a game you played. You won when you had to and ultimately that’s why I was threatened by you. You’re a smart player as well and when you told me that, I took that to heart. 

Dylan: Ryan I was sad seeing you go home. I actually didn’t vote for you because I couldn’t. Come back for real Survivor and We’ll kill it again.

Jay: For someone that came into this game with a huge target on their back I never seen anyone play it off so well. When you came to me wanting to work together I was skeptical at first, but each round the trust kept growing. I loved talking to you all the time and I really got to know you for the Survivor genius you are. I wish you were still with me in this game. Ryan you’re the queen of survivor and I’m so happy we had the opportunity to work together. You’re a legend in this game and I can’t wait to talk soon. 

5th Place: Max Aviles

Bobby: You played a great game bro. You laid low even with a target on your back for most of the game, it was very impressive. Honestly, I trusted you. I just saw you as more of a threat than Brett to win a final four immunity, so I had to do what I had to do. I’m sorry it ended like that, but you played a hell of a game and I enjoyed working with you.

Brett: Aviles, you were another immunity challenge dominator. You were a threat to me in the long run and I hope you understand that I had to vote you out. And by the way, that music video you edited was hella fire! 4th: Dylan Ross: Dylan we were great allies going into the merge. I’m not sure what happened. It was great getting to play this game with you and I had a lot of fun. 

Dylan: It was great working with you before the merge and after. You played a hell of a game and you need to come back for Survivor

Jay: I was sad we never got the opportunity to work together until merge. Once we got there I got a great ally who was so much fun to work with. Contrary to what most people said, you are not a villain, you were actually more of a hero. You were loyal and someone I could rely on through this game. If you were put in my shoes in the situation I was once Ryan left, you would understand how awful I felt writing your name down. I fought for you to stay, but like I told you these people weren’t budging to keep you. I felt terrible and still feel terrible about it. Excited to talk to you soon.

Okay, home from Cage of Death!!  I had a really fun trip! Tiring, but fun. Went to Waffle House, Checkers & Friendly’s to eat over the weekend.. all of which were delicious.  Saw some of the people we usually do at H2O as well as CZW, which was nice. I like that we kinda know people there, at the very least well enough to say hi and have a chat.  H2O’s show was fun, I wish I could make it down to more of them for the sole reason of supporting Tremont & everyone involved (He’s the nicest person ever, seriously. love going and saying hi to him when we’re down).  It was absolutely freezing in the building though XD.  Highlight was probably Maria Manic picking up Ace Romero... that was nuts.   

Went to an unimpressive target, and to canals in Glassboro & Berlin (I actually like Glassboro quite a bit, its cute there). Got some beer and drank it in our hotel room before Ubering over for the show.   Got front row tickets, which was amazing!!  I got a lot of pictures, most of which are probably not to useable because I was trying to watch what was going on lol.  The NWA belt stuff.. I didn’t care about so eh.  I was excited to see Shane Sabre in the pre-show match, as well as Ethan Page against David Starr. Can’t not cheer for the Local (to me) guys. Alex Colon and Conor Claxton (Mr. Claxton), I was a little disappointed that it was so quick... but I get the story behind it so.. FIINE.. plus Danny Havoc made a Cameo appearance so.. yay.  Jimmy Havoc and Jimmy Jacobs. WOW.  I was pretty eh on Jacobs -- haven’t seen a lot of his stuff, just not on the hype train quite yet. I freaking love Jimmy Havoc tho..  It was a good match, I liked it and holy fuck did Jacobs get my attention, i liked his get up, all the theatricality of it. You sir, I am not interested in.  MJF and Janela was nuts, that jump off the balcony.. jesus. Saw MJF leaving later on, hobbling quite badly. Tag match was cool, happy with the outcome but a little sad there were no best boys (stupid injuries). 

The Cage of Death match itself was nuts, I spent a lot of time ducking flying glass. Kudos to the photographers/camera people, and Papagiogio.. poor guy XD.  So much blood, jesus fuck. I’m just glad everyone made it out in one piece. Then the whole GCW invasion thing was TENSE. While watching I wasn’t going ‘is this real or planned’, I was just like ‘holy fuck if anything goes down I’m running’.  It was a little alarming tbh, but maybe thats just my ..not liking realisitc/real confrontation & getting anxious.  BUT I WAS FUCKING INVESTED.  

I had a good time. I enjoyed what was going on in the ring, which was guys murdering each other. That’s all I need. I don’t care about drama, whats changed, if it was better than previous shows, whats going to happen next, etc.  I was in the moment, having fun with what was going on directly in front of me. Cuz who the fuck knows if I’m even gonna be alive for the next show?  just, as in, you never know whats gonna happen so live in the here and now, kinda way. 

but now I’m home! I can sleep and.. look through pictures.

Well, at least it hasn’t been confirmed yet, only heavily implied (honestly Mutsurie has been implied since the Auction arc)…sad thing is that back when Mutsuki was likable I used to kind of ship it. But now…

Ishida, bring Saiko back.

Urie deserves to love someone who truly cares for him and could actually give him a happy, stable life/relationship (because Saiko is totally filling the ‘Sasaki’ role for the Q squad now that Ken’s gone).

Not this murderous angsty yandere who’s very much obsessed with somebody else.

Also, I’m getting a bit tired of Kaneki making everybody’s relationships difficult. First it was Kanae loves Tsukiyama but Tsukiyama loves Kaneki but Kaneki loves Touka, and then Kanae DIED, and now Ishida’s going to replace that with Urie loves Mutsuki but Mutsuki loves Kaneki but Kaneki loves Touka? No.

The only thing worse than that would be Saiko loves Urie but Urie loves Mutsuki but Mutsuki loves Kaneki and so on and so forth… I seriously hope Ishida won’t do that. Not only would it be terrible for my feels, it would also be kind of ridiculous.

Though that freaking centipede was hands down the worst part of this chapter tbh

I’m really, really happy Yoriko’s alive, but this isn’t 100% fluff either because there are three questions I have now:

Since Yoriko appears to have both of her hands, whose hand did Mutsuki show Touka? (I just remembered that Torso cut off Mutsuki’s hands and put a wedding/engagement ring on one of them…ew. This is getting creepy)

Who was it that called Yoriko while she was out shopping?

Do the other two questions have anything to do with how somber Yoriko looks at the wedding, or is that just because of nerves (she does smile later on when throwing her bouquet, but…)?

(And yeah, Urie has known Mutsuki is biologically female since the auction arc: I got confused about this too because of weird translations, but apparently he smelled their blood and realized it was from menstruation and not an injury. For them, Mutuski being AFAB is an ‘I know you know I know’ kind of situation)

-He’s super organized and has a great memory so you can just text him when you’ve lost/can’t remember something (‘Urie, where’s my notebook?’ 'second drawer in ur desk’).

-Though he’s more comfortable with texting, he occasionally leaves short sticky notes for you when he’s busy. Usually it’s serious but maybe not quite flattering stuff like 'there are bags under your eyes. The average human of your age requires at least 7.5 hours of sleep per night' but there’s also the rare, awkwardly sweet note- 'I’ll try to be back soon’,'stay safe’,'Your hair looks nice’ (when you cut it when he was at work and he came home when you were already asleep)

-Cookie’s actually nervous about making this relationship work and the sticky notes were inspired by advice from the internet.

-when it comes to school and studying, he’s extremely impressed with how many things you’re managing to do at once.Though he usually doesn’t express this openly he definitely lets you know when he’s proud of you.

-He helps you with Japanese when you need it.

-in social situations like parties, you usually stick together and don’t talk much to anybody else unless you’re with the other Q squad members (I think I remember you mentioning you’re an introvert?). Though it might not look like it, there’s a lot of banter in these situations and you almost always have fun together.

-Urie secretly likes your 'weird, slightly pervy’ jokes

-He probably has a secret sketchbook with dozens of pictures of you in it. His face when you somehow find it is priceless.

-At some point you turn him into Hamiltrash. When you try to tease him by asking him to rap Guns and Ships, he disappoints you by rapping the whole song perfectly. He also relates to 'The Room Where it Happens’ on a personal level.

-He doesn’t understand your manga/anime obsession. Especially when it comes to Love Live- one day you get him to watch the anime with you and he remains poker-faced the whole time (honestly he looks more interested in playing with your hair than watching the show). Again, thank you so much for being so nice and supportive <333 (I say that a lot, don’t I XD) I actually tried out the watercolors yesterday, and though I messed up my picture by adding too much water (I’ve never actually learned to use watercolors and I started painting with them this month), the paper is actually pretty good! I was right when I guessed it wasn’t really watercolor paper, but it wrinkles much less than my other sketchbooks :D

I don’t really have a bad memory, but I only seem to remember the things I WANT to remember LOL for example, I remember almost everything about my various fandoms, but sometimes I find that I have no idea where I put my glasses when I took them off barely a minute ago (plot twist: they were on the shelf in front of me the whole time and I couldn’t see them because of my terrible eyesight. Yes, this has happened before. Several times, in fact).

The fic 'True and Earnest’ on ao3 is what really made me ship them but still (I totally recommend that fic you get the chance to read it because it’s just perfect. So sweet and beautiful <3 plus, there’s some implied Angelica/Alex at the end so everybody gets to be happy! :D)

I just wanted to ask, are you into the MCU fandom? Because I’m very deep into it…I haven’t watched the Iron Man trilogy or the Guardians of the Galaxy movies yet (though I have the latter on my computer and am planning to watch it soon) but I’ve watched almost all of the Captain America movies and all of the Thor and Avengers movies.

Honestly I have 0 problems shipping Cookie with anyone as long as they’re mentally stable. Hell, I’ll even ship him with Shuu as long as it means Urie would be happy. The amount of suffering in TG is starting to be too much. There is a fine line between ‘a little angst to keep the plot moving’ and ‘bucketful of angst because everyone shall suffer for no particular reason’. 

I read the new chapter myself (I always seem to do after you update me on the happenings hahah) and I am screaming. It’s like Ishida put a huge ‘No happiness allowed’ sign on his desk and looks at it every time he’s thinking of how to advance the plot. Sigh.

Honestly, it’s so heavily implied, I consider it canon. ‘I wasn’t going to come, but then I heard you’d be here’? Come on, Urie would never say that unless he really liked someone. 

Oh, what if Sasaki/Kaneki is Urie’s true love! I mean Saiko=Sasaki and he wanted to see Mutsuki since they might know about Kaneki’s whereabouts… Don’t mind me, I’m just trying to think of something, anything that doesn’t involve Mutsuki/Urie because that has become my ultimate NOTP.  But Saiko/Urie is very attractive…

Everyone loves Kaneki. Ishida lied to us, this is actually some sort of twisted harem/reverse harem manga that’s only full of suffering for the lols. When the end of the manga comes, it’ll turn out this is a stage play/movie/dream and that everyone is Kaneki’s classmates who have a crush on him, but he loves Touka, whilst she doesn’t give two shits about him. Yeah, that’d be a nice end.  Waaait a minute. That implies Urie will die ;-; Nooooooo, come one, the cookie deserves happiness, his life is a big enough shitstain already. 

The love relationships form a centipede. It’s like this a→b→c→d→e→f→g→h→i→j→k→l→m→n→o→Kaneki. 

I was studying biology this morning, and passed the Chilopoda unit. GUESS WHICH BUG WAS THERE. I WAS THIS CLOSE TO SCREAMING OUT LOUD BECAUSE FUCK CENTIPEDES.

b) I checked the panel, and Yoriko didn’t look alarmed or confused when she turned around, so maybe it was a random person she knew? Or someone from the CCG she met before? (what would they be doing in a wedding dress  shop, tho?)

c) I’ll choose to believe it was simply wedding nerves, because if it wasn’t the nervous, it was something else more sinister and there’s already enough suffering.

We all make mistakes when trying something for the first time, so it’s completely normal that you added too much water ^^ Now you know how much you should(n’t) add the next time you draw :p  Ah, that’s great to hear! Now you have somewhere to draw where it won’t be as bad as if you painted on normal paper.

We used to paint a lot with watercolours and temperas in elementary school, and my drawing always ended up being disfigured blobs of colour. So I’m sure yours are perfect ^^

The useless things I usually end up remembering are usually animal facts (and, for some ??? reason, heights and blood types of characters. don’t question it). Here are my proudest goldfish moments: Search for glasses for 15-20 minutes only to realise they were on top of my head all the time. Thinking I lost my ID only for it to be buried deep inside my bad. Finding a fork in my bed (I’m not joking, I somehow managed to leave a fork there for some twisted reason). And my favourite: Being late and looking for my shoe for around 5 mins to realise I already put it on. Yeah, I’m not very smart. 

Yes, Burr is very shippable. Musical Burr, at least. I ship him with Angelica, Eliza, Ham (to some degree) and Lee. Man, that’s a lot of Burr ships.

Well, I'm glad we won again because, surprise surprise, I've been sorta inactive! Woops.... And, I honestly can't wait for merge so I can be with Dom again!

Ok I'm making a newbie alliance and gonna throw next couple comps to make returnees in minority. Going into merge at 12 or 11 have newbie majority 7-5 We want an exciting season right?  Up to F7 -> All Newbies Take all villains to f4  Take me out F4  Simples Probably take Lexi (Rubens girl)out  at f8 Which is why Alex or Julia is going this round Jordan will get blindsided bc idol. Sarah's fucking fake and can't keep her fucking mouth shut Julia's mouth we already discussed where that's at.

So Dom told me he found the idol again but jokes on him, Sarah told me a day ago so oops I'm on to you Dom, sneaky sneaky. We won the challenge, it was basically me who did everything so i feel pretty good about it. Ashley is worried about the other tribe throwing comps to take out the returnees which is scary, idk if its true or not but its worrying. I feel like were swapping tonight and I am praying that Jaiden goes home tonight, like praying. Anyways thats it

Okay what the FUCK is happening. Idk if there is a split or if I'm being lied to. I'm pushing for Dom to go because he told me he has an idol and like, I think he's going to come for me later. I don't know what else to say. If I get voted out, then I'm at peace with myself. Robin has been manipulating this vote very well and I respect her immensely for doing so, but shit will go down tonight if I'm not careful. I'm trying to be careful. God.

So I'm pretty positive that the Returnees apparently have an alliance now. Everybody has been pretty blunt about that. Which is frustrating because I hate when people play the game like that. "Oh yeah, we've played before so lets work together duh duh duh"  Like grow up! That's not how the game should be played. Whatever the case is, I'm making sure tonight's vote is for who I think is most willing to be apart of that group. So I'm stuck between Alex and Julia. I want to trust Alex, I really do. However I can't help think that he's with that group. And if he is, he's MUCH bigger of a threat than Julia. So it's a tough choice, but I think I know what needs to be done....

I've recieved votes at every tribal I've attended smh. I'd love to know to it was that actually voted me. In my mind I believe it's Sarah, but we won't know until the end! I honestly hope that I can make it to merge, or at least a swap, and still have allies. It's not easy being one of the only new kids left.

It was clear Whitney was going home. The way that I see this game (which isn't very heroic of me lol), any paranoia where I know what caused the paranoia is good paranoia. I never made a confessional regarding the Johnny boot. So here's that one. My initial plan was to get Ruben to split the vote 3-3-2; 3 on Johnny, 3 on Jaiden, 2 on whoever those two vote. Then I'd get me/Jaiden/Johnny/Julia to vote for Dom and get him out with his idol.  Then Ruben told Jaiden they weren't splitting the vote, so we tried to do a double split. Ruben was thinking I would be voting for Jaiden, and Johnny would be voting say Ruben, so they'd send a vote my way to get it to tie three ways and get me out 5-1-1-1 if the idol gets played. Then Johnny/I go back to vote out Dom so it's 4-3-1.  Obviously none of that worked and Johnny got out because Jaiden decided to play both sides. I would have respected him if he just straight out voted Johnny or drew rocks with us. But he did worse by telling Dom to play his idol while still voting him out. So now Jaiden fucked up his chances with both groups by playing both sides horribly.

So now I have to play damage control. I take an hour to talk with Dom to apologize for voting him out, and he seems fine? But that's what's awful about it. He shouldn't be this passive about it but he is. I don't trust him as a human being solely because of the way he talks. Well, that and a few other reasons, but I have to go into this whole shit.  Gavin wants to work with me to get out Jordan Pines's group. He's had this plan worked out and it seems great. The best part about it is that Gavin and I don't seem like we'd be a pair. We're on opposing tribes, and we haven't mentioned each other's name to anyone else. That was until today. We played a mini and apparently we talked with each other a bit too much? So Dom went to tell Sarah (which effectively tells Jordan Pines and Julia) that he wants to split up me and Gavin. So I'm extremely spooked about that. It's tearing me apart because Dom told me that we were on good terms but obviously not. And I even confronted him about it, he didn't deny saying my name but he did deny wanting me out.  It's just confusing. The only reason I knew about Dom's idol was because of Gavin. But Dom is blaming Pines's group. Or at least I thought he was. But apparently Dom talks with them consistently despite the fact that they tried to get him out. It's baffling to me, I really don't understand it.  ~~~~~~~~  We lost the challenge today, and I was the only one to work on it. We got a shit score and that is my fault, but what else could I do? They didn't wanna work. I thought they were throwing the challenge to get rid of me (and I still do). Jaiden wants to get out Dom and I don't see it happening. But I want to talk to Ruben about Dom's relationship with Pines, Sarah, Casey, Ashley, etc. Dom knows a lot of these people despite being a new player. He's really dangerous, and it's frightening to me that despite his claims of them working against him he's still working with them.

So I believe that I will be the one going home tonight. Trying to make things easy with a Jaiden vote to calm my nerves and then send me packing. I pray that's not what happens. I've had such a fun time in this game, to go out now right before a potential swap would be devastating.  I'm trying to talk with people, I really am. But at most I can try and flip a vote towards Julia, otherwise Alex's journey is a really short one this time 'round, and it's disappointing. One last confessional before tribal! Jordan Pines may give me his idol so that's exciting. I'd play it on myself obviously. If he doesn't I have to rely on Ruben and Dom and that's frightening for me. I don't trust them a whole lot and just having the idol would be so much better.

Well, I haven't really been able to sit down and record anything for a while, mostly due to midterms and laziness. But since midterms are up and done, and Regan will murder us if we don't do jack, I guess I can inform you my lovely viewer of what has been up with yours truly.  Well, swap was a thing and I got on a tribe with Ashley and Gavin. Everyone seemed willing to mend fences with me after Karen Gate but still... I don't really trust them. Gavin is clearly a lot smarter then I had given him credit for and Ashley is far more resourceful. Any heroes alliance that will be formed after this I will be clearly on the bottom of. So I really do need to expand my options. Speaking of expanding my options... let's talk about my new tribe.  I haven't talked at all to Liam but I know someone is targeting him and I find that hilarious. Seriously who ever did that deserves a fucking medal, that was pretty brilliant. I wish I thought of it, though I would have voted for Jordan because he would likely have the most reaction out of it.  You already know how I feel about Ashley and Gavin, love them but trust them as far as I can throw them.  As for the newbie villains, I get along great with Lexi G. Literally I love her sense of humor and how open she is about her terrible social skills. She is definitely someone I want to work with. Wish she wasn't dead all the time though... I've barely talked to Casey but on the One World Call she seemed pretty okay. I'm not sure if there is a future in us working together but I wouldn't be against. I'm not really sure about their strategic abilities but Lexi seems to be more proactive, as she actively tried to communicate with me during the vote. Casey seems more laid-back. But we've only really had one vote, which was more of a glorified medivac tbh, I'm not sure if any information gathered is worth any salt.  No on to the returnee villains, Sarah and Jordan.  I have the unique distinction as a tumblr survivor player, to be someone who unironically likes Jordan Pines.I appreciate his intelligence and think he is really funny. In most mini games I've been in with him, I was able to work with him successfully. He showed me he had an idol so I think he trusts me as well. The problem is, he is close with Gavin. They played together before and while Jordan has made me aware of this, I'm worried that he would choose him over me if he is put in a situation to chose. I will not retaliate, not now anyway, but should come up with a back up alliance assuming he does do something stupid.  I've played only one game with Sarah and we were never on the same tribe, so I don't really know how she functions. I am planning to go back through old confessionals she made in other games to get a better read on her. Still, I really like talking to her and I think she likes talking to me. She's really nice and plays along with my weird scenarios about murder and black magic. IDK I just want her to be around for along time. Not sure why...

So voting Whitney out was for the best, I hadn't even spoken a word to her so I mean it didn't really mess with any of my plans either way. My tribe is still really chill. Gavin and I are still tight, idk who he is talking to besides me but I trust that I am still his #1 just as he is mine. Jordan seems to want to try and make things work between us for this game, as things didnt go too well for us in the last game we played together. We are also semi working together in Sweden and I think he is really seeing he can trust me which is good.  This challenge with the gifs is kind of tough, I am usually on mobile and sending and getting gifs is usually hard, so I am going to try and help as much as I can storywise, hopefully it will be enlugh for people to not want me gone if we lose. All in all I think I am in an okay place. I am also hoping Alex makes it to merge, cuz hopefully he can also still trust Gavin and I and be willing to work with us.

Okay so this was supposed to be an easy tribal. Lexi, Ruben, Dom, and I have an alliance chat. We had the majority but Dom had to go out and tell Alex everything we said. I don't understand why he would even do that. Alex voted for you last tribal Dom! Why are you suddenly trusting him?!?!?! Dom's not stupid I know that. There's probably some plot that I'm not aware of. I've seen he's very close to the returnees so that brings up suspicions for me. Alex said there is some kind of returnee pact but that he's not part of it. At this point I don't know what to believe. I told Ruben about it and I mentioned possibly changing the target to Dom. It would only make sense to change our votes now that the plan is out and an idol can potentially be played. Ruben insists that we keep our votes locked on Alex. I talked to lexi though and she doesn't agree. I honestly only trust lexi right now. I'm so paranoid. This stress is worse than my first tribal when the vote tied. Im exhausted!!

So i did not  help out with the challenge because  i was not around all day yesterday. The vote went from jaiden, to alex, and now to julia so thats a big ol mess. I could probably be targeted tonight but thats my own fault for literally not talking to anyone. Robin doesnt trust dom anymore as i really dont either since alex knew everything that was said in our alliance chat. I'm only trusting him for ruben sooo. I honestly trust robin the most. so i locked my vote fr julia. lets see how it goes
