it is to me very grandpa of yoichi to refer to the successors of OfA using the ‘-kun’ honorific. yagi-kun, he says to the literal spirit/consciousness that towers over him and is visually on fire. shinomori-kun, he says to the young/old sage who probably lived longer than yoichi did and ALSO towers over him.

also something of note: banjo says ‘shinomori-san’, and shinomori refers him to ‘banjo’, so i feel justified in thinking that shinomori thinks of banjo fondly and banjo’s still miffed about his one night stand having the villainous version of an STI.

anyways someone find me a chart of how everyone refers to one another, i’m pretty sure izuku’s still in the ‘All Might’ zone.

JANUARY: New Year's Resolution to draw a panel per chapter from the manga was short-lived. Can you BELIEVE I got to the Gran Torino internship and then just. Stopped. OTL

FEBRUARY: One for All Starter Pokemon AU beats out my other posts because I'm pretty sure it's my #1 liked/reblogged of the year.

MARCH: It's not a year without @/thisauthorisscreaming's Anachronism. It just isn't.

APRIL: That's a personal favorite. Full-color and full-body? With a warm palette overlay? WAHOO

MAY: Censor Torino can be found earlier than 2023, but it was really in 2023 that he was noticed. A controversial presence... appreciated and despised in turn.

JUNE: This was like, All Might's YEAR. Comeback of the century, and I finally did something for his birthday, haha.

JULY: That outfit meme... Completed while I was catsitting, and I had to use an old version of CSP on my old laptop to do it.

AUGUST: Getting that flashback chapter with Young Might and Nana revived me ten times over.

SEPTEMBER: Deaged at Dagobah AU (that AU where All Might gets deaged during Izuku's training montage) started back in, what, January? I think I'll try developing it into a real wip later, but I'll force myself to finish ghost!nana first.

OCTOBER: The epic high of getting proof that Torino survives to see the war he failed to prevent, and then the epic low of panicking over All Might's fate...

NOVEMBER: Another personal favorite. Hrmhgh. Art posting dropped off around this point because I'm in grad school! But look how handsome he is!!!

DECEMBER: Manifesting Nanahiko content in '24. Surely there's a chance.

terrible question. short answer no. that old man is unkillable. unfortunately, the sheer fact that kotarou somehow raised a sacrificial lamb (horrible parallel to what sorahiko must have believed toshinori was during u.a., before all might proved him wrong) will make sorahiko wish he was dead.

Do you think everything that happened with Tenko and his family could've been prevented if Torino had permission to keep an eye on Kotaro? One day Torino spots Kotaro speaking with a man who gives the most absolute rancid vibes he hasn't felt since being face to face with AFO to which he begins to put two and two together.

I mean, personally speaking, of course I'd love for Torino to actually have that narrative weight and be the "For Want Of A Nail" trope in Kotarou's life. Torino could absolutely be a helicopter parent if given half a chance. In this scenario, though, he's just, what, checking in every so often? Maybe not even face-to-face?

Torino's not clocking red flags until he overhears the first genuine anti-hero sentiment from Kotarou, who's actually been really good about repressing his anti-hero feelings to avoid negative attention from peers.
