A ⇴ ATTENTION

He likes to subtly pay attention to you more than anything else. If Peniel finds that you’ve caught him paying attention to you, then he’ll get very shy, much preferring to just watch you in his own little world.

B ⇴ BICKER

It’s not something that you do massively, but when you start bickering with one another, it takes a lot for the two of you to stop bickering again. You go back and forth for what feels like forever sometimes as you both remember something that you want to say in the hope that it’ll shut the other up.

C ⇴ COMFORT

Whilst dealing with upset people isn’t exactly a strength of Peniel, he always tries his best to try and cheer you up whenever you’re feeling down or not yourself. He knows the exact way to make you smile, especially after so many years of friendship, Peniel is glued to your side until he sees your smile again.

D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS

Usually, you disagree when you’re both deciding to be good to one another, especially when you want the other person to decide rather than having to make any sort of decision yourself. Peniel would want you to decide, and you’d want Peniel to decide which ultimately led to the two of you falling out as you tried to get the other to listen to you and understand why them making the decision was better.

E ⇴ EARLY YEARS

The two of you just seemed to click almost as soon as you met, almost as if the two of you had been friends for years rather than no time at all. You found yourself warming to Peniel, as he did to you too which made getting to know each other such an easy job for you both. You were sure that being kids helped you both too as you both didn’t care too much about what you did as you got to know each other.

F ⇴ FAMILY

Peniel’s family were always there for you whenever you needed advice or maybe someone to just vent to. His parents especially looked after you a lot, when they sent parcels from home to Peniel in Korea, they always made sure to throw a couple of treats in for you too. They missed you just as much as they missed Peniel at times, your friendship was something that they loved to watch at home too.

G ⇴ GETTING TOGETHER

You did whatever you wanted to do whenever you hung out, never letting anything get in the way or influence your decisions on what you wanted to do together. Most of the time you’d go out somewhere, either for food, to do something physical, or to just catch a movie, whatever took your fancy that day.

H ⇴ HABITS

The two of you had a habit of getting too competitive with one another whenever you did anything. If you went out bowling or something then it would quickly get heated between the two of you as you tried to get bragging rights, and usually get a free meal out of whoever lost the game you played too.

You had plenty of inside jokes between you both, they were something that you both held closely as very personal things to your friendship. You never told anyone about a single one of your inside jokes as they were yours, and memories that only the two of you would only ever really be able to remember.

There weren’t many times when Peniel would get jealous, he tried his best to get along with your friends and humour the few bad apples as much as he possibly could too. Above all else he felt reassured by you constantly that they were all just friends to you and so he tried to be better than any of them who tried to be your best friend by being polite, and hopefully killing them kindness instead.

K ⇴ KICKS

Peniel got a kick out of simply spending as much of his time that he had free with you, that was the thing that he loved the most about having you as his best friend. He didn’t need anything extravagant or super when it came to being your friend, just having you around was more than enough for Peniel.

L ⇴ LOVE

He loved how close the two of you were, the bond that you had together was something that many others noted about you whenever they watched you both side by side together. Everyone could tell that you had been best friends for years by the way that you acted around one another, and they could see too just how special your friendship was and just how much it was something that you both valued.

M ⇴ MEETING

The two of you first met because you grew up in the same neighbourhood and therefore your families spent a lot of time together. Your parents were pretty close and that ended up with you and Peniel becoming pretty close too, spending your evenings together most days when you got home from school.

N ⇴ NONSENSE

He would say and do just about anything when he was with you, Peniel didn’t care about how he seemed or how he acted when he was around you, the chances were you’d probably already seen him at his worst anyway.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Peniel was obsessed with your personality, that was the thing that drew him to you at first, and still made him want to be your best friend after so many years too, it was everything that he ever wanted in a best friend.

P ⇴ PRECIOUS MOMENTS

The moments that meant the most to Peniel were the ones when you got to hang out with your families, just like the old days before you both moved away. He loved just feeling like a kid again and doing all of the things that you used to do all together before you had any responsibilities or worries about things.

Q ⇴ QUESTIONS

You relied on each other for a lot and so whenever you needed help or a bit of advice, you asked each other about it. If there was one person that you were confident that would have the answer, it was the other.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

Together you loved wearing couple things and confusing other people who were around you. You often wore jerseys together or hoodies and left people puzzled as to whether you were dating, loving their faces whenever you assured them that the two of you were in fact just incredibly close best friends.

It never got old for Peniel seeing you in the crowd or knowing that you were cheering him on, he never took it for granted. He always made sure to make the most of it every time that he saw you in the crowd, just in case one day he didn’t spot you.

T ⇴ TRIPS

The first place that you both wanted to go whenever a trip became available was home, there was never any doubt in your minds that when free time came, there was only one flight that you were booking.

U ⇴ ULTIMATE

You were the closest of friends, you had plenty of memories and experiences behind you to always keep you side by side.

Whenever you could you went to each other’s apartments to hang out, you could never get enough of each other. Sometimes you wouldn’t even text and just show up, knowing the other person would let you in.

Whilst giving advice wasn’t the best thing that Peniel could do, he still tried his best to be as helpful as possible when it came to you.

X ⇴ XXXX

One of Peniel’s favourite things to do was tease you with affection, the height difference between you both was something he emphasised especially, often resting his head or his palm on top of your head.

Y ⇴ YOU

You were his constant, Peniel couldn’t remember a time without you with him.

Z ⇴ ZZZ

Together you were very comfortable hanging out with each other, in fact it was rare for there not to be a sleepover at the end of your days of hanging out together as neither of you really wanted to say goodbye.

A ⇴ AFFECTION

If there was one thing that you could always rely on Peniel for, it was affection. He would never turn you away if you needed a hug, although quite often it was him that made the first move and held onto you anyway.

B ⇴ BOYS

The boys adored you, mainly because they could see just how much Peniel adored you. They hated that he was away from his family for so long, but although they could never be replaced, you did a pretty good job, which the boys always appreciated too, knowing that Peniel had someone else looking out for him.

C ⇴ COMFORT

He was a great ear whenever you were going through a hard time, it didn’t matter how big or small your problem was, Peniel never left you to go through it alone. He would sit still, and not say a word until you had finished ranting, and then once you were done, he would give you plenty of advice on what to do next.

D ⇴ DOMESTICATED

You tended to do most of the chores as Peniel was so busy, which was something that he absolutely hated. He tried his best to pull his weight, and so when you’d do his jobs, Peniel would make sure to scold you, reminding you that you needed to rest too. He would try and do the majority of his jobs in the morning so that he could get them done before you noticed him and give you less to come home to at the end of the day too.

E ⇴ ENGAGEMENT

The most important thing for the both of you after you got engaged was letting your families know. Peniel especially was keen to fly home so that he could share the news in person with all of his relatives, to get the chance to see their faces and tell them all about it without a delay like you got on the phone, and in the case of some of his relatives too, finally give him the chance to introduce you to them properly.

F ⇴ FAVOURITE THING

Peniel’s favourite thing about being with you was the comfort that knowing that he always had someone with him brought him. Wherever he was in the world, he knew that he had you by his side, being able to turn to someone whenever he needed them was something that he often missed out on, but whenever he needed you, you were there, which was something that he was incredibly thankful for.

G ⇴ GOING OUT

The two of you were quite social as a couple, you tended to instigate quite a few plans too so that you could catch up with your friends. From time to time, you liked quiet evenings at home, but most of the time the two of you liked to head out, even if it was just the two of you finding something fun to do.

Your honeymoon was far from conventional, mainly because the destination of it was actually home. Actions over words was definitely how Peniel showed you that he loved you. Quite often, he found saying it aloud in front of you a little awkward, and so he much preferred to come home with a gift or organise something nice for the two of you to do as a way of telling you just how much he lovd you.

There are very few times whenever Peniel gets jealous, he trusts a lot of people, especially his friends, and tries a lot of the time to see the good in people. The worst thing for you is that when Peniel does get jealous, he’s able to hide it very well, he can force a smile onto his face and be polite, even when he doesn’t want to be, and so quite a lot of the time when he has jealous moments, they go unnoticed by you.

K ⇴ KIDS

As the two of you began to settle down, the conversation around starting a family became more and more frequent between the two of you. Quite often, Peniel would ask you how you felt about starting a family so that he could make sure that it was still something that you wanted, ensuring that your mind didn’t change.

L ⇴ LAZY DAYS

Your lazy days tended to be more like lazy afternoons with Peniel as he still liked to stick to his routine in the mornings. Once he had been to the gym and ticked off of all of his little jobs for the day, his afternoon would be dedicated to you, but no matter how many times you tried to convince him to give the gym a break for just one day, he would refuse, knowing that he would feel a lot better for it.

The mornings were when Peniel thrived, he loved to wake up early and get started, however, you enjoyed a nice lie in in bed. He tried his best to encourage you to get up with him, but Peniel often knew that he was fighting a losing battle, getting most of his jobs done before you even got out of the bed.

You loved spending time with each other in the evenings once your days were done, it didn’t matter what the two of you or doing, or where you were too, the company of one another was the most important thing.

Peniel was obsessed with how caring you were, he loved knowing that he had someone who would permanently look after him, you were someone who always listened to him, which Peniel loved about you.

The moments that meant the most to Peniel were when you were by his side whilst he talked to his family, or some of his friends from home. He loved it because they always asked about you, and you always asked about them too, often talking to each another as if Peniel wasn’t even in the room with you.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for Peniel, and so quite often he would ask if there was anything that you wanted him to do, more than happy to do anything that you wanted him to, no matter how big or small.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

Although you weren’t always up for it, Peniel loved taking you to the gym with him. He enjoyed making sure that people knew that you were a couple too, refusing to workout alone, finding a way to involve you in everything that he did, whilst also spotting you and cheering you on when you gave something a go too.

S ⇴ SILENCE

You two definitely had your moments when you enjoyed your own space, sometimes the silence was what the two of you needed, especially when you were beginning to get overwhelmed. It wouldn’t usually take long though before one of you came back to the other and tried to pick up a conversation once again.

T ⇴ TIPS & TRICKS

Peniel’s biggest trick for making things work with you was making sure that he was always there for you. He never wanted you to feel as if you were alone, trying his best to support you as much as he possibly could.

Seeing you upset was the worst thing in the world for Peniel, he would stay right by your side until he saw you smiling again.

V ⇴ VISITS

As the two of you continued to settle down more, time with your families was important to you both, and so whenever you had enough time to be able to go and see them, you’d make plans straight away.

Peniel’s one wish that he always had was that you would stay with him, he never wanted to be without you.

Whenever he kissed you, Peniel made sure that you knew just how much he loved you from it. As much as he sometimes would just kiss you, you’d still know buried in the bottom of the kiss was a lot of love for you.

You were his best friend, the two of you relied on one another to get by most of the time.

There’s nothing that you love more than falling asleep in Peniel’s arms, as much as sometimes you don’t want him to go to the gym, the benefits that come when you fall asleep beside him at night are definitely worth it.
