I was lucky enough to join my fellow Shrunkenheadmen in creating a Poster for the SHM poster Drive! This year's theme is 90's (and early 2000s hah) Cartoons.

We’ve got Samarai Jack, Danny Phantom, Powerpuff Girls, all the good stuff!  

I ADORE Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and I was extremely hyped to make a poster this year. The poster's this year are AMAZING.

All proceeds go to Butch Hartman's charity Hartman House Watersprings ranch, a charity that helps children in difficult situations providing shelter and education.

Our first assignment is to make a short film introducing ourselves as professionals to our professors and peers. I was horrified about it before because I didn't really know what makes me special. There is of course so many things that I wanted to add and to do differently. But I am happy with this final result. Definitely inspired by Wes Anderson's films and Amelie. This makes me want to make more movies. Directing is fun :)

Tomorrow we go to war.

Tomorrow we're protesting.

Tomorrow we make a stand for what is right....what we deserve.

TOMORROW WE MARCH TO TOWER HALL FOR ANIMATION/ILLUSTRATION STUDENTS EVERYWHERE.

And may i just say....what a privilege it is to be a part of this community.  When we were in that auditorium, listening to the 28 greivances the ShrunkenHeadMen Club had written down and sent to the president of our school....just...that feeling... I know we all felt it.  We're all stepping into this industry together. All of us tomorrow. And we stand together....together. We're marching to tower hall together. We're living the dream our teachers wanted when they decided to rewrite the circulum and change the way they taught starting with our class!! All of us, reguardless of EVERYTHING else in the world, we're a team. We've got each other's backs. And we're all coming together, working together to make a difference.

A difference that if we succeed tomorrow could make the experience of going through the AI program even more incredible!!!

We stand together.
