After chasing Scaramouche like a little child playing tag you finally manage to catch up to him, he was now resting under a tree catching his breath "What fuck was that for Scara?!" he giggles giving you a smirk "Why so angry? Admit it was quite fun to see you shouting like an angry mother while chasing me" You begrudgingly sat beside him still feeling a bit angry at him "Awh c'mon [Name] you can't be mad at me for having some fun" "You're such a brat" you say kissing his cheek "I'm your brat then" he say turning away hiding his flustered face from you, the sunset perfectly captured the shape of his face leaving you in awe. You felt a warm feeling in your heart knowing that you were able to change Scaramouche even if he did still have some of his bad habits and mean attitude. He was different with you unlike before he was a frozen cold home with a sealed shut door, it was rare moments like this that he is showing the him that you can only see.

You gentle wrap your arms around Scaramouche and pulled him into your arms giving him a tight hug, he was caught off guard but reciprocated, you felt him squeeze you tight. No one has ever hugged him but he wouldn't let anyone hug him except you. You knew moments like these were precious to him because he hated the idea of relationships like this being too afraid to be abandoned or seen as a monster but as much as you both hate it you will one day slip away from his arms but he promised to you if there was a way to keep you here forever he would do anything for it. But you both don't think about it so much anymore.

You just promised him that you'll spend all of your hours, days, months, years, decades and life with him and only him.

The wanderer next to you stares blankly at the rising sun, he seems lost in thought you note. The wanderer next to you sits in a field of flowers, he lays down relaxing his mind "You were right about how comfortable this is" You grin while you lay next to him "I won't find my heart again but like you said maybe making one for myself won't be so bad after all" you smile brightly looking at the clouds in the sky. The wanderer felt a soft feeling in his heart like a dandelion being swept away by the wind.

The wanderer next to you stares at the moons reflection in the water while you stare at the moon above "We set sail tonight back to Sumeru, I hope you made your time here in Inazuma worth it my wanderer friend" He silently nods still staring at the water, you hear him take a heavy and deep sigh "I would like to ask you something" His tone was blank you couldn't read his emotions at all "Go on" he looks up to face you, his hands finds yours and intertwines his fingers with yours, you felt confused "What if you found your heart a long time ago but you were too blind to know?" you were puzzled but immediately realize "Well I suggest getting glasses dear" He turns away and giggles "You and your ridiculous comments" You smile before he slowly leans in to give you a small and quick kiss, he looks away covering his flustered figure, you give him a toothy smile before kiss him on the cheek "I truly need glasses for searching just for it to be right in front of me all along".

You had arrived at the forest thinking maybe you should just hide and quickly report to Nahida knowing very well he probably still holds a huge grudge on you.

The huge glowing mushrooms were perfect for hiding but your feet had minds of their own, attempting to hide away from Scara wasn't really easy when he knows you well enough to remember your patterns. He sat down and decides to drag you out of your hiding. "I know you've been following me, as much as I love when people see me worthy to stalk I would rather not be stalked by you, [Name]" You felt both anger and defeat and come out of one of the huge mushrooms to reveal yourself to Scara, he had a smirk on his face plastered across his face, it made you even more angry "I've barely even said anything and you look like you already want me dead" You heavily sigh and just took a deep breath not letting him get under your skin again, he laughed "So are you here to finish me off?" The glowing mushrooms perfectly illuminated both your figures, you both ironically formed a heart shadow. From afar Nahida giggles seeing both of you, she was happy to see that her little plan worked in the end.

You heard loud and clear outside of Scara's office, you weren't shocked nor surprise because he was always like this since you both became an official couple. You heavily sigh while think of why you decided to choose the loud and sleep deprived gamer for a boyfriend but all those thoughts came to a halt when you heard his room open. "Agh these new overwatch players make me lose my mind" you giggle walking towards him to give him a hug "It's ok my little angry gamer boy" you jokingly patted him on the head while laughing, he grabs your wrist causing you to stop patting him "Yeah right little, your so called angry little gamer boy just got 8 play of the games in a row" you weren't as shocked but still acted like you were "Oh wow! My gamer bf is so cool!" he already knows you're acting but still gives you a small laugh.

Scara decides to go downstairs to the gas station with you for a quick monster run. "When will you drink something other than monster Scara?" you question him as you walk in the store while holding hands "Maybe right now, what drink do you like? Going home right after felt a bit boring to both of you and Scara so you thought about going to one of those grass fields near a park you both know. You both sat down on top of a hill and watch cars pass by and stare at the stars. "You know going outside like this is pretty rare, now that you took up gaming and streaming more seriously" you sigh as you lean on Scara's shoulder, he felt quite guilty for not spending enough time with you cause him to fall silent, you notice "Oh shit I'm sorry I didn't mean it to make you feel guilty or anything I was just pointing it out" you quickly retracted your words now feeling guilty for making him feel guilty "No no it's fine I should've noticed I haven't been paying attention to you" before you could protest again he cuts you off "I should make a schedule and have some special days with you and only you" you felt guilty for making him do something like that but also the other side of you felt happy and excited for those times.

Now back at home you put the drinks one by one in the fridge while Scara gets ready for bed. You both are now sitting together in bed watching a movie in an attempt to fall asleep, "Seriously what is up with clowns and smiling" Scara annoyed that half of the entire horror movies he has watch so far have either been a clown killer or something to do with smiling, you laugh at his antics while gradually falling asleep on him, he notices that you slept first and decides to turn off the TV and kiss your forehead good night.

Out of no where.

K4ni is an artist that is very centered around metallic and electric stuff but all of a sudden he decided to released a quite soft, sweet and sentimental song and no one really knows who it's for, well except for Kazuha.

The song in question was very different from his other iconic songs, this was meaningful and loving, even his friends had no idea why he would release a song like this. Of course there was something or in this case someone behind the release of this song and it was just an ordinary florist assistant.

Now that it's been confirmed everyone just needed to find out who it was.

Kazuha was driving to work as usual but today was special, he attentively listen to the radio because Scara texted him really early in the morning just to tell him to listen to the radio on his way to work. He was curios because he never asked before Kazuha just listens because he already knew about the song but this time was abrupt he never said anything about releasing a song to him. As Kazuha parks his car the radio announces Scara's song.

"Now that you all have shared your spookiest stories with us why don't we play a very special song by K4ni, this song is really different from his regular style of music and it has really got twitter going crazy. This is Futariboshi by K4ni"

Kazuha silently sit in his car as he heard the guitar play, it surprised him to hear an acoustic because it would always start with a drum or electric guitar, then he heard Scara's voice, they weren't kidding when they said it was very different from his other songs. The lyrics were beautiful and Kazuha had notice that some of the lyrics were the things he had wrote when he went abroad for a tour. His heart fluttered just like the time they first kissed. Kazuha fully knew that Scara would only play these kind of songs with him but this was the only time he would release one and didn't tell him. The more he focused on the lyrics the more it felt like Scara was talking to him as if he was right beside him. The blush was very obvious at this point and he had fear he couldn't go to work with his face looking like this. The guitar now gradually and softly fading away Kazuha felt like he was about to either cry or needed to call Scara right now. He just decided to go to work but he was gonna wear headphones the entire day just to listen to the song while he works.

Scara on the other hand was giggling while he drinks his coffee in his studio as he reads notification after notification of his friends and twitter specifically questioning his new song. But while giggling at his fandom go crazy he was also more than excited to hear what the beloved person he mentioned in the song thinks of it. Every hour that passes he checked his phone or the clock if it was already time for Kazuha to go home but ultimately he gave up and just walked there early. He watched from afar in a small park bench just watching and counting as cars come by just desperately wanting to walk in and just embrace the assistant botanist tightly never letting go till his last breath.

At last it was finally time for Kazuha to lock up and Scara was jumping up and down like a child walking down the stairs on Christmas eve. Kazuha unaware that Scara had even come to pick him up walks up to his car to see Scara already standing near the car door, Kazuha's eyes widen but immediately soften seeing Scara. Now driving home in the car Scara had plugged his phone into the aux and played the song but this one was the other version that he can only hear, it was just Scara's unfiltered voice and the guitar, his heart was beating fast again, Scara leaned his head on Kazuha's shoulder as it played softly humming along.

At this moment Kazuha felt like he was the most loved and cared for person in the world, he could never ask for anything more than this, It didn't matter if the world didn't know him as long as the person he loved the most knew him, he was content.

Loud screams were heard from outside the stadium. Fireworks went off as music was heard. A familiar guitar was heard by the one and only Alatus.

"HOLY SHIT [NAME]" your best friend screams while they profusely shook and hit you "God [bsf] relax.." they stops hitting you and stares at you for a moment "Relax? RELAX?! [NAME] I AM AT AN ALATUS CONCERT AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE CA-" They shout before they were interrupted by a voice and it was none other than-

"Hello Liyue! Did ya miss me?" Alatus with a tight turtle neck walks on stage with his famous red guitar. Your best friend now twice as excited than a moment is practically about to explode at any moment. The music starts then he strums his guitar to the beat. His electric guitar sent shivers own your spine, it was your first Alatus concert since your best friend was suppose to go with their partner but they had a family emergency before the concert, they couldn't just let front tickets go to waste.

Alatus starts walking around the stage and ironically he stops at your side of the stadium, seeing him up close you quickly understood why your best friend liked him so much. His teal highlights and amber eyes clash with the red guitar in a good way. Ironically too that you were probably the only person in that side of the stadium without a hair cut similar to his or have the iconic hightlight in your hair, it was that obvious that Alatus saw you from the stage even with the lights flashing infront of him. He gave you a smile making it more obvious that he was looking at you which your best friend notices. "[NAME] ALATUS JUST SMILED AT YOU WTF?!?!?!" they looked at you with jaws wide open.

A little fast forward to the last song of the night Alatus hasn't stepped on stage for 5 minutes before he quickly jogging onto stage "So sorry everyone almost fell asleep on my chair" he lightly giggles before everyone started screaming again as the music started again. He finally finishes the finale.

"Well after this fun night all things must come to an end. Wrap up and good night Liyue! I'll see you in a bit" he bows and waves before walking off. You and your best friend now exhausted get ready to leave, your best friend exits first since they had to meet up with their partner and you lived close to the stadium anyways.

You decided not to go home since the night was still felt pretty young at you haven't had some hot coco in a while. As soon as you walk in you heard a familiar song playing softly in the small cafe. You sat in the corner of the cafe near the big glass window, you check your phone while you drink your hot beverage, you noticed someone sat infront of you, they wore a hat and a mask like they were hiding from someone, you didn't really mind but then he spoke.

"So how was tonight's concert?" That familiar voice shook you, you wanted to scream but didn't want to draw attention for his own safety, your eyes just widen as you stare at him "Uh it was great really great but um why are you here? like you know alone?" he takes his mask off "Is it really that bad for artist to be out and about without bodyguards?" he sarcastically replies, you were still in awe that THE Alatus was right in front of you having a conversation with you, if your best friend was here they'd flip. "It was great chatting with you [name]" he pauses before he- "Wait! before I forget here's my number, try your best not to accidently leak it mkay?" he puts his mask back on before waving and leaving the cafe the moment he stepped out the door you sighed heavily.

You stand infront of the company that Xiao is working for tightly gripping your bag with sweaty palms "Well you only live once [name]" you say before taking a deep breath and walk inside.

Before you could even ask anything to the receptionist you saw Xiangling and a brown haired girl "[name]! omg right on time Xiao is waiting for you in the recording studio!" she says before quickly running off. You didn't even know where the recording room is.

After asking around you finally reached the studio, as you opened the door you immediately heard Xiao's iconic guitar, he was playing something soft, very different from what you heard at the concert. You quietly step in and close the door but in an attempt to not disturb him he saw you anyways "[name]! morning, I hope the timing isn't to early for you" he gets up from the chair he was sitting on and guides you to the cafeteria since he did say to come hungry.

You both are now eating some salad and chatting away before you both were interrupted by- "Good morning Xiao and good morning to Xiao's friend too" a tall man with long brown hair greets both of you "Ah good morning mister Zhongli, [name] this is Zhongli, Zhongli this is [name]" you wave at Zhongli and he waves at you "Well I shouldn't disturb you two further. Have a good day" He walks up to leave "Uh now that we've eaten lets go practice shall we?" Xiao gets ready to leave and you follow suit.

"Now that we're here could you show me a sample?" Xiao asks while tuning his guitar. You hesitate for a moment but give in. You pick up the drum sticks and sit down, taking a deep breath you decide to play good 4 u by olivia rodrigo. Xiao watches you attentively, he felt your emotion each time you struck the drum. You finished the song and turn to look at Xiao "So how did I do? pretty good I bet" you chuckle "You did amazing" He says as he walks closer to you with his guitar "Why don't we do one together this time?" you agree and decide what song you wanted to play.

Until I found you

While Xiao sings he couldn't help but stare at you and take a closer look at you, he knows nothing about you and neither do you know anything about him besides his music career. You on the other hand knew he was staring and tried your hardest not to go tomato on him.

You both played a few more songs and recorded some samples he might use in the future, he decides on going back to the cafe with you. When you both arrive he was wearing his mask and hat like last time and you both sat somewhere secluded for his safety. You both chatted for a while as you drink your beverages. Now it was pretty late and you say your farewells.

The next day he invited you to go to an amusement park near the beach with him, you were quite intrigued that he would ask you of all people but you didn't question it. "Xiao!" the teal haired man lifts his head from his phone "Oh [name] you arrived earlier than I thought" you noticed he wasn't wearing his disguised and ask, "Oh I only wear my disguised in the big city but somewhere like this isn't so bad, besides no one here knows my real name except you" he giggles "Well let's try a ride if you aren't scared" "Bring it on Xiao". Turns out trying out every roller coaster in the park was a big mistake since you felt like the entire world was spinning and so is Xiao, "I think I'm gonna vomit" you say as you hold your mouth "Me- hmph! -too.." You both went out and cooled off and decided to walk it off on the beach. You and Xiao walk bare foot on the sand and chat with eachother the rest of the day. the moon was already up and you both decide to go home but you had other plans "Hey Xiao! Race you to the car!" You sprinted as Xiao chases you but he had no energy from today but then all of a sudden when he stopped to look at your smile from a distance it struck him. He finally caught up with you "Hey [name] why don't I take a picture of you infront of the beach, the lighting seems nice" you were yet again intrigued but this time you asked "Hm? why me? shouldn't I be taking a picture of you?" Xiao was smart so he responds with- "Before I became a star I wanted to be a photographer so let me pursue my real dreams at least once" you were pretty surprised but brushed it off, he takes a picture of you facing the moon and you finally get into your car and say your goodbye, the moment you drive off he looks at the picture again and suddenly felt his heart beats fast but he very much knows why.

After that practice you and Xiao got a bit closer and you both had practice for 2 weeks and surprisingly your best friend hasn't figure out that you've been practicing with Alatus. Xiao hasn't figured out his feelings for you either.

4:12 am

"[NAME]! [NAME]! YOU GOTTA WAKE UP" you jump out your bed almost kicking your best friend in the face "Holy shit what do you want this early?!" The lyrics were loud and clear to you but the thing that struck out from the rest was the drums, it was the sample you made for him, your heart was racing and your face was heating up, the entire song was a confession and the picture too. After the song ended you explained to your best friend the short version and sprinted to the cafe in your pajamas. You spotted Xiao outside the cafe "ah [name] I-" you hug him tightly, so tight he was practically gasping "Xiao you little- I- When did you-" he places his hand on your mouth "Slow down, I realized it when we went to that park together that photo I took of you" You hide your face in the crook of his shoulder and hug his waist "I like you but not as Alatus but Xiao" his eyes widened and he blushed and blushed hard he hugs you back and kisses your cheek "So did you like the song?" Kazuha x GN!reader, angst to fluff

"Kazuha are you sure you don't want me to come with you?"

Beidou attempts to convince Kazuha one last time if she could help him but he refuses like always. "Beidou I'll be fine, beside this is something I must do alone." He sternly responds to Beidou. "Well if that's what you insist then I won't get in your way kid." Kazuha waves to the captain of the Crux before leaving the dock making his way to Higi Village.

Kazuha had gotten a letter from an unknown sender about how to re-kindle his friend's vision, he knew that something was off but he didn't want to give up trying to re-kindle it after what happened when he deflected that strike from the Raiden Shogun, he just had to try.

"[Name]! Please don't leave! I promise I can change!"

Your mother pleads you from leaving. "I told you I can't just keep letting you ruin my life by keeping me in here, I got my vision months ago so you can't keep me in here anymore." you coldly answer her. "I'm begging Yn! please I don't have anyone anymore!" she ran to hug you but you dodge her arms causing her to fall. "Then go bother someone else, go ahead and tell everyone I'm selfish and cruel." you walk past her, you gave her a glare before leaving her silently crying.

Your mother never loved you, she just needed someone to bring her inside the house when she's drunk. You use to have siblings but all of them have already left it's either because they had ran away or your father took them, you were the unlucky one to be left with your mother, you live far from the city but you were determine to start a new life as a wanderer just like you always dreamed of with your siblings.

Kazuha arrived at Higi village with hesitation, the winds felt uneasy, it almost felt like a warning but he still had to try. He enters the village, it was quiet and abandon, the letter stated that they would be inside the third house near the small bridge. He saw a drop of blood near the entrance of the house, he gripped his sword, cautiously. He peeks his head inside to see a man in a pool of blood, Kazuha rushes to the man. "N-no, K-" the man coughs out blood. "No don't talk We can still save you-" he pushes Kazuha away. "No! those g-guys the-they are after y-" he coughs once again but this time he mumbled and bled out, Kazuha heard foot steps from behind him. "Finally I get to meet the famous Kaedehara Kazuha." he smelled the stench of the Tenryou Commission reeking the surrounding. "The Vision hunt decree is over why are you still after me?" The soldier scoffs. "Why need a reason to go after someone? Half of Tenryou despises you, why not just finish the job and go see your little friend in hell?" Kazuha unsheathed his sword. "Do not put my dear friend's name in that filthy mouth of yours".

Passing by Higi village was a blessing to you. Your legs were killing you plus the sun was already going down but as you enter you felt a strong gust of wind almost making you fall, you quickly find where it came from to see a house destroyed and Tenryou soldiers cut in half and bloody to the brink of death you heard someone groan inside the house, you look into the house to see a man with white hair holding a huge gash in his torso. You rush to his side "Oh god, hey! I won't hurt you don't worry" You gently take his hand away to examine the gash, he was silent, most likely preventing himself from passing out. "Ok there should be a house with some kind of medicine" you rip some fabric of your sleeve and wrap it around the gash to stop any further bleeding, he hissed as you carry him on your back. You search house to house and find a small medicinal hut. You put the man down on the small bed, you find some crushed up onikabuto and bandages, right after you remove the cloth you put on the gash earlier, you quickly apply the onikabuto's on the gash, he let out a loud groan. "Oh I'm sorry! I forgot that it would hurt…" you briefly apologize to him before tightly wrapping the bandages on him, you suggest him to rest while you keep watch. "Thank you, for treating my wound" he thanks you as you watch out from the window. "No need to thank me but could you tell me what happened there earlier if you don't mind.." he takes a deep breath as he recalls what happened.

3 more soldiers enter the house cornering Kazuha, It was him and Kagotsurube Isshin. "Say hi to your dear friend for us in hell hm?", 2 of the soldiers charge first from both side, Kazuha dodges the left soldier while he slashed right one from the leg. Another one charges Kazuha head on, He pushes himself up with his vision to plunge his sword from the back but he fails to notice the blabber mouth he was just talking to was gone from his line of site, he turns to block the attack but he wasn't fast enough. The soldier's sword slashed Kazuha's torso, Kazuha infused his sword with anemo creating a powerful slash cutting the soldier in half and house, the other 3 suffered the blow now bleeding heavily. Kazuha's exhaustion causing him to fall back against the wall.

"So you were ambushed by Tenryou soldiers? but why?" You gave Kazuha a concerned look as you walk up to him to sit next to him. "They just hold grudges against me" He sighs. "Oh wait I almost forgot what's your name?" "Kazuha, Kaedehara Kazuha" "oh well I'm Yn Nakamura it's nice to meet you" you gave him a small smile. "I've heard about a Kaedehara somewhere, I remember seeing a bounty poster about you." "Yes but my arrest warrent has been lifted after the Vision hunt decree" your eyes widened. "Oh the decree is over?" "yes for a while now" you sigh heavily. "I've been in that damned house for so long I didn't even know the decree was over" you bit your lip in anger, "You aren't a traveler?" "No I just left today, I'm planning to leave for Liyue but I live far from the city" he offers his hand to you. "Well if that's the case why don't I join you in your travel then you join me in mine?" "Deal but after we take those bandages off in a few days".

EIGHT: forget the umbrella

"Ugh great, just great" You rub your temples in frustration while Xiao pats your back in an attempt to comfort you. "Your apartment isn't that far from the bakery just run it I guess?" Xiao wasn't the best at ideas but you really had no other choice, "If I get sick I'm blaming it on everyone" you say before getting up to go outside. You open the door to see the pouring rain, you took a deep breath but before you could take a step in the rain someone called out your name.

"Wait! Yn!" you turn to see the last person you wanted to see right now. It was Thoma running towards you with an umbrella, "Don't you dare run in the rain without an umbrella, I don't want you getting sick..." He gives you a small pout as he hands you his umbrella, "But Thoma what about you? I don't want you getting sick either!" you push the umbrella away, He held your arm with some force but not so tightly. "Fine then wait here for a sec I'll just get some bread for Ayato and we can walk together to the estate" You gave in as you take the umbrella while you wait outside, on the other hand Xiao has got a surprise for the ynma shippers.

You were patiently waiting for Thoma outside the bakery, you notice Xiao was on his phone, you were about to check your phone but you heard the door open. "Sorry if I took a bit long!" He held the handle of the umbrella while you were still holding it, causing you to hold hands but you didn't pull away even if you mind was telling you to let go. He walked close to you to avoid getting wet, but he was way to close to the point he might hear your heart beating fast.

You both arrived at estate and from the corner of your eye you saw Ayato with something that looks like binoculars but he quickly disappeared once you turn your head to look. "You should stay till the rain stops since it looks like the rain might get heavier" Thoma gesturing you to come inside, you accept the offer just because you didn't have any other option. Besides who wouldn't want to be in their crush's house?

You were now sitting on the couch while wearing some hand-me-downs Thoma gave you. You were watching a romance movie with Kamisatos while Thoma makes some sandwiches for you all.

"Ok why in the hell would she even fly across the world for a guy who won't even treat her better than her boy bestfriend?!" Ayato screams at the TV while Ayaka giggles at her brother's angry state. "Well maybe if you were that in love you would understand, Ayato." Thoma walks in with the sandwiches in his hands. "Ok for one I have been in love Thoma second you can't speak for me while still being in love with-" Ayaka pushes her bother off the couch while Thoma sits down on the edge of the couch beside you, ignoring the fact that at any moment he might fall on you.

"Yes! oh my god finally after an hour they kissed, ugh I can't do this anymore! I'm going to bed early." "Yeah right going to bed early-" "SHUT UP!" Ayato quickly exists to his room while you and Thoma were giggling at the chaotic twins. "Agh the movie is done I'm kinda tired, you guys can use the TV" Ayaka yawns as she slowly gets up and retreats to her room. "Well so you remember that anime I told you about?" "Yeah Horimiya?".

It's been about 5 minutes and Thoma is still on the edge of the couch, you both were focused on the TV that Thoma didn't notice he was about to fall. "Hey you know you're kinda like Hori you know" "Just because a character cleans doesn't always mean it's m- Ah!" Thoma lost his balance in no time, he fell head first into your lap, you practically jumped when you felt his hair on your lap, He didn't notice it was your lap at first but then when he turned his head he saw your torso, he looked up in horror to see your red-ish face. "Ah! I'm so so so so sorry!" He apologize while quickly getting off your lap, he ran behind couch in an attempt to hide his face but we both already know you saw his flustered face.

It's been a painful 6 minutes and you two are still recovering from a moment ago. You decided to break the silence and stand up to approach Thoma behind the couch. You saw him curled up in a ball so you couldn't see his face but you could tell he was embarrassed. You plopped yourself beside him. "So um.." your words clogged up in your throat, you had to stop this back and forth of awkward moments and not acknowledge them. "Do you hate me?" Your world stopped. "What?" "I asked if you hated me." You turn to look at Thoma to see a cold expression on his face. "Why would you think that? Of course I don't!" "Then why do you always seem to run away or avoid me everytime something...embarrassing happens between us?" Your words seem to just disappear from your mind. He was right, why did you avoid him so many times when you obviously had feelings for him. "It's late we should call it a day" He stood up to go to his room but you grabbed his hand. "Wait!" you sigh before you let go of his hand. "I don't hate you Thoma....It's just that everytime you make my heart skip a beat my mind goes hay wire and I end up avoiding you..." "You're such an idiot." "Wha- hmph!" You fell on the floor as you felt a pair of lips on yours. It was Thoma. Wait- IT WAS THOMA'S LIPS. Your eyes widen but the longer you two stayed connected the more you relaxed and eased into the feeling, you caress his cheek while he wraps his arms around your neck. The kiss wasn't long neither was it short but it was perfect. "So does that mean?..." you giggle as you part.

"why did it have to be like this rex lapis?" you curse your archon with tears in your eyes, your mother who just ran away with another rich drunkard, your father who is now in jail for robbery and your sister who just passed away from an untreated disease, all of this happened in a span of just 2 weeks, you cried and have been mourning for days and nights, everything was falling apart, your friends in different nations and no one was there for you but one kind soul you could say that has been watching you from a far.

Just another night crying at wuwang hill, you couldn't careless about the ghost stories of this place but the quiet was perfect for you. Your sobs quietly echo through the forest but you hear light footsteps, you quickly wipe your tears away and look around seeing nothing, you sigh shaking the paranoia and calming down, but then as you calm down you saw a boy with teal hair sitting next to you, you didn't jump or feel scared of him, he was quite beautiful you thought then he spoke "crying here disturbs rouge spirits, I suggest hiding your hide tears for they feed of your sadness" he hands you a mask "this should keep you safe" you didn't take it at first but then- "do not worry about me, you mortals are more prone than us adepti" you were quite shook hearing the word adepti, you asked yourself why an adeptus was helping you, you've always heard if an adeptus was in your presence you were eternally blessed. "Why are you helping me?" you ask, how selfish but you couldn't careless if a spirit possesses you, your life has fallen apart already so why still live? "Mortals don't understand how fragile they really are, your lives are short and cruel why end it so fast if you have great ambitions?" his voice was raspy as he lectures you, you found it comforting in a way, at least someone wants you to live, you start to tear up again he notices this time putting the mask on you gently, "If you seek physical comfort I can only hold your hand" you cry more hearing something you've wanted to hear for a long time, you reach for his hand and he intertwines his fingers with yours, you sob to your hearts content as the adeptus boy silently holds your hand. After a while you stop crying and take the mask off your face, wiping your tears you let go of the boy's hand and ask "So what is your name?" "Xiao, Adeptus Xiao".

THREE: It was an accident I swear!

You arrive at the Kamisato estate after running back to your apartment for a quick outfit change, it was huge more bigger than you expected you thought you would get lost quickly but you saw thoma waiting for you near the gate, "you're here, I know you would get lost from how big the estate is so I'll be your tour guide for today!" he gives you a bright smile and guides you to the backyard, you also saw his laptop on a small table, "you could've just used your phone for the stream" you chuckle "you already know that I'm more better at the laptop than my phone, cmon don't you remember that cooking stream" you starting giggling as you recall the last time he used his phone for a stream, thoma pouts as you try and hold your laughter "yeah yeah don't even dare bring it up again yn" he playfully crosses his arms, "ok ok fine lets get to decorating already" he nods and shows you where the boxes of the decoration were as he sets up his stream. "Hi chat!" thoma shows his signature sunshine smile as he tries to greet his entire chat and thank donations as they come and go, "I'm with yn right now! say hi yn" you wave from a far while you were preparing a ladder, "yn is gonna do the banners while I'll be doing the flower arrangements".

After about an hour or less into decorating thoma is already done with the flower arrangements while you were still going up and down the ladder, while you were up the ladder thoma was just chatting with his viewers since there is only one ladder and as much as he wanted to help you wouldn't allow him, "What I'm saying is Itto shouldn't even be near a kitchen unless someone is supervising him like he's some child", you chuckle at thoma's silly rants, how cute you thought but all of a sudden the ladder was getting a bit unstable the more you go up and down then of course worst case scenario happens and while you were up the ladder it was slowly leaning forward unfortunately you didn't notice right away. "Yeah of course I'll be doing a cooking stream with noelle soon if I can, wait be right back I'll just get some water" thoma jogs to get some water and the moment he starts drinking he saw the ladder leaning and so did you. "oh shit" you felt it lean but it was too late to go down but you just prayed the grass was soft enough not to give you a concussion, you fell off the ladder of course, you were expecting to black out and wake up in a bed or something but nope not on thoma's watch. "Yn!" he dropped the water bottle not caring if it spilled or anything and ran to catch you, he catches you in his arms but your weight causes him to fall backwards, you were now on top of thoma making the perfect thumbnail for xingqiu's ynma video.

You heard thoma's heart beating as fast as yours, both of you had red faces and butterflies in your stomach, you quickly roll off thoma while he quickly runs to stream to turn it off, "wait why did you-" "I'll do an apology tweet later what matters is are you ok?" your heart was still pounding but you manage to nod without blurting out anything embarrassing, "good but let's um g-go inside" he stutters still blushing and sweating not from how hot it is outside but from what just happened. You go inside internally screaming to yourself while thoma was still outside fixing the small mess you two made, after cleaning up he returns and shows you to the bathroom to check for any bruises or cuts on you and himself, the whole 10 minutes was a painful and awkward silence, on his side was worrying about how you feel but you on the other hand stared at him the whole time wanting to get kiss him or something, it was honestly the hardest 10 minutes of your life, thoma breaks the silence by suggesting you to go home for now "let's meet up at the hideout tomorrow night if that's ok?" you nod and take your things to leave, thoma escorts you to the gate and waves good bye to you, doubts flooded your thoughts thinking if thoma might hate you or something but thoma now inside the house screamed and squalled while on the floor rolling over but of course happy moments come to an end and the doubts flood his mind as well. You both hoped that you wouldn't hate each other or feel uncomfortable after the accident.

"Thoma! ayaka and I are back!" it was 1:54 am, ayato puts down all the shopping bags while ayaka looks for thoma, "thoma!!" before you know it ayato finds thoma slumped in the back of the kitchen counter, "hey thoma are you ok?" "I'm fine something just happened and I'm having some doubts" ayaka and ayato look at eachother and approach thoma "hey you could tell us" thoma slowly explains what happened, "so you think that she'll feel uncomfortable when she sees you again?" "yeah..." "are you sure it was an accident or did you you know make it-" "Ayato!" ayaka hits her brother's shoulder "alright I'm sorry I'm sorry" ayato sighs at the same time as ayaka, they give thoma some advice and they all go head to bed.

Conversations like those happen all the time when you and thoma are cuddling together, you could talk about anything to thoma, he was like your diary more than a lover at times.

You two can never get enough of each other's cute interest rambles, thoma is mostly the one that rambles on and on about his interest while you listen in awe seeing his eyes sparkle. Most of the time you secretly order merch of some show or movie he likes, as much as he loves you for it he always seems to say not to spend anything on him.
