hi hi hi!!! so i just recently hit 800 n i was going to save this for my 1k celebration, but genuinely i am just full of so much love for everyone that i couldn’t hold myself back from doing this so !!!! appreciation post for mutuals!!! n this is absolutely wild to me, bc ive been on tumblr for over 4 years now, n remade this blog at the end of september to both restart and because i was getting super into mcyt n wanted a blog to focus on that, and the fact that ive grown this much since then is absolutely insane to me!!!

im feeling full of love for all of my mutuals (aka people i consider my friends <3) so!!! have written messages for u all :DD i mostly wrote them for people i talk to a lot/look up to, so pls dont feel bad if i didnt write one for u!!!! pls absolutely follow everyone in this list they are all amazing people n deserve ur follow !!!! obs not a complete list bc bad memory but just. they are all so cool :]

okay first off your writing is SO GOOD!!!!!! but i was wondering, since in most of the works so far some of the other yiga are kinda mean, could we get sooga and/or kohga bonding with a newer recruit? like they’re having a rough time adjusting and it’s just tender and sweet

One, the yiga aren’t exactly mean. It’s levels. See, the foot soldiers are very kind and respectable to Sooga, for his status, and devotion to Kohga. The Blade masters are hard on Sooga because he was once one of them. As such, they’re VERY competitive with one another, and accept nothing less than perfection from one another. The Blade master’s aren’t bad guys, they’re just way more heavy handed. Trust me, if push came to shove, these guys would have Sooga’s back.

And two, there’s actually a mission in aoc that kiiinda has something in those lines. It’s where a yiga member misses home, so you give him veggies to remind him of home (think it gives Kohga an extra heart???), so let’s do it based of that guy!

“Rounds, once more! Let’s go!”

Whenever Sooga wasn’t serving Kohga, he was busy tending towards the soldiers' training. He was busy training the newest recruits, and it was quite a solid lineup so far. Quick, devoted, opportunistic. Just what the clan needed. All but one. The one who seemed to be the most distracted. He was the newest one of the pack, having just joined the clan yesterday. He was slow, he kept tripping over himself, he kept fumbling. It was odd, given the fact that just the day prior, he was near the front of the pack. He tripped up yet again in the course, unable to dodge the obstacles set before him. He was about to get up and try again, when he looked up to see Sooga peering over him.

“Not you. Get up, follow me. Rest of you, follow HIS orders!”

He left the newbies to his own second hand, a man who was close to being Master Kohga’s right hand (long story). The footsoldier stood up, following Sooga. He stayed close to his side, less he got lost in the maze of the base. He then stopped into one of the storage rooms, shutting the door behind them. He looked down at the meager creature before him, and he couldn’t help but scoff. He didn’t look down on him for being on the lower rung of the yiga ladder, but for the fact that he wasn’t giving everything he had to the clan.

“Explain yourself.”

“I don’t, uhm-”

“You will look at me in the face.”

“You mean mask?”

He chuckled, but when Sooga didn’t do the same, he shrunk a bit. He fiddled with his fingers, clearly nervous under such an intense gaze. He went silent. Sooga fought the urge to sigh.

“You are now a member of the Yiga clan. Therefore, your devotion must be unlimited, and unwavering. Unless you are injured, you give all your body has to the clan. Do you understand?”

He messed with his fingers again, and Sooga couldn’t help but notice just how young he was. But a boy, in Sooga’s eyes.

“I’m sorry. I know I said I wanted to join, and I’ve already sworn devotion to Kohga. But I just...I’m distracted.”

“Explain.”

The soldier hugged himself, clearly going into something uncomfortable.

“I...I dunno. I’m used to having a mom, and a dad, and my sister. I’m used to sitting down and having warm meals in my own bed, I miss playing with my friends. I miss my village, I miss the goats, the horses, even the cherry trees. I even missed being called by my own name, Alfo-”

“You do not speak your former name. You learn to look without a face, and to be silent, even when asking for help. You and your team must be in sync, and you could ruin it in your longing. Do you understand?”

He looked up at him, before nodding. Life in the yiga clan was not easy. He too, joined the clan, and felt the confusion. He too, yearned for his home way back when, and even now, he’d turn if he thought he heard someone speak his name. It was rough, especially at this young age. No one was to know of another member's past, aside from Sooga, but from what he gathered, his parents died, and his sister had gone missing. He needed resources, needed a place to stay as he searched for her. It was a noble dream, that much was certain. Sooga wanted to bark at him once more, before his heart seemed to recall what compassion was.

“Look. Perhaps you need independent training, until you grow comfortable with the other’s. I will train you myself.”

“Are you...serious? Really?”

The boy looked damn excited, but he stopped bouncing on his feet the second Sooga cleared his throat. This was going to take some work, it seemed, before this foot soldier could properly represent his clan. Still holding a chipper attitude however, he was sure to make the other aware of how important this offer meant to him.

“You will NOT regret this, Sooga! Not for one-”

He seemed to forget the door was closed, causing him to hit his face against the door, and swear under his breath. Sooga sighed. This was going to be a challenge, for certain.

“Good, good. Again.”

Sooga was surprised how effortless this suddenly seemed to be. The little one started their training with more rants of home, more longing for what was once his life. Sooga, instead of telling him to hush and focus, allowed him to rant. It improved his skills considerably. His feet danced across the floor, his dodge timing was perfect, and although Sooga blocked them, his attacks hit their marks every time. He even managed to dodge one of his attacks, which was rare on someone so low on the yiga clan ladder.

“Right!”

Armed with but a Vicious Sickle, the young one found himself standing toe to toe with Sooga, enough so, that when their weapons locked together, the boy didn’t immediately fall over from his massive weight. Course, Sooga eventually gained the under hand, shoving him, and forcing him to drop his weapon. He looked ready for backlash, cowering as he stood there, when Sooga nodded.

“Nicely done. You lasted far longer than most. Seems as though you just needed to clear your head, young one.”

He bounced a bit on his feet, picking up his weapon and spinning it in his hand, suddenly overflowing with confidence.

“Well I mean...I AM pretty strong when I put my mind to it. Never really got picked on during school. Pretty smart to, I’d sa-ow!”

Not paying attention, he nicked his finger with the blade. He dropped it again, putting his finger in his mouth. Sooga rolled his eyes, leaning down to pick it up, before putting it back in his hand.

“Another rule of the blade. Respect your weapon. It is meant to serve you, but it is useless without the same amount of care. It is a mutual respect. Do you understand?”

He nodded, taking the blade back from his hand, and tucking it back into his belt loop. The boy was young, dumb, and eager to prove himself to his elder. If that didn’t ring any bells. The boy seemed to be done with his finger, and he finally found his voice.

“So, what now? We gonna learn some of the poof stuff? I wanna teleport and stuff!”

“That takes displicine, and concentration. Two things you do not have yet. It’s also why you are not allowed on the field yet.”

“Which is not fair!”

He cried out, following Sooga as they made their way to the dining hall. Most of the clan was happy to survive on mainly bananas, but the boy looked none too interested.

“What’s the matter? You are not hungry?”

“No, I am. I just...I kinda missed the food back from home.”

Sooga scoffed. Figures. Sooga couldn’t blame the poor boy for dwelling so much in the past. Not everyone was like himself, longing to forget his old life.

“Let me guess. You want something like meat stuffed pumpkin.”

Sooga didn’t expect him to gasp, and nudge his arm, clearly excited.

“How did you know!? Can you read minds!? What number am I thinking of!?”

“No, it’s just predictable, given what you told me about your previous life. Bit of a ‘bumpkin’, as I’d put it.”

Sooga chuckled. Maybe it was the fact that he grew up with younger siblings, maybe it was his natural knack for being a caregiver. But regardless, Sooga found himself charmed by this little one, enough to at least not bark and tell him to eat what he was served. Oh, he was soft in the heart, just like Kohga said. Speaking of Kohga-

“Sooga, there you are! Been looking for you!”

The dining hall was abuzz from Master Kohga’s presence. Excitement that the young one hadn’t seemed to fully grasp, like some newbies. Before Kohga could continue, he pointed towards Sooga, as if accusing him of something.

“Did you know he could read minds?!”

Kohga cocked his head to the side, clearly confused.

“What? No he can’t. Love the guy, but he’s stupid.”

“Oh, can YOU read my mind then? What number am I thinking of?”

Kohga folded his arms over his chest, scoffing.

“Easy, 420.”

“....Is this yiga magic? I wanna learn that!!”

Kohga seemed to find him just as amusing, shaking his head.

“This one of the newbies, isn’t he? The one you said you wanted to train personally?”

“Yes, Master Kohga. While his mind races with frivolous things, he does in fact, have some skills. His reflexes are swift, as well as his feet, even amongst the foot soldiers.”

“Am I...skilled enough to get meat stuffed pumpkin?”

Kohga cocked his head to the side, and Sooga had to pull him into a bit of a side huddle.

“He misses his old home, Master Kohga. Not to mention, some variety in their diet COULD do some good in terms or morale.”

Kohga scoffed, arms folded.

“I like this kid, but you can’t sit there and tell me this kid is THAT special, Sooga. I’m not going all the way out there just so he can have special eats.”

“....Please?”

Kohga knew that look in his face. Sooga would NOT let this go, he could tell. He groaned, lightly shaking his head.

“Fine, just. Fine.”

The kid seemed to hear them, and whooped in celebration. Right before his excitement made someone fall over, and drop their bananas everywhere. Kohga sighed.

“I can’t believe I like this kid.”

“Neither can I, Master Kohga.”

They watched him scramble and try to pick everything up, before slipping on one of the peels, starting the mess all over again.

“We’re essentially adopting him, aren’t we?”

“Essentially, Master Kohga.”

“Oh well. Least I can call myself a dilf now.”

i got distracted earlier and forgot to post but im thankful for my mutuals who have helped me time and again, even if it’s in ways you may not know. i appreciate you all so much and i am so grateful for the friends i’ve made here and the small but intimate community cultivated through tumblr.

You lowered the brightness of your screen and scrolled back up again, pinching the screen and zooming on their faces. The only thing that gave Prompto’s current state of mind away was the redness in his eyes; Iggy was clearly stoned, with his eyes almost invisible; while Noct’s cheeky grin-and-thumbs-up combination made your heart flutter a little bit. Leaving the classroom, you replied,

With two paper bags filled with chips, candy, and Ebony, you stepped off the elevator and entered the hallway. You could already smell the dank from there, hearing laughter faintly echoing the corridor. The noise gradually got louder as made your way to the apartment, confirming that they were indeed the laughter of your friends.

After a bit of struggling, you finally managed to ring the doorbell. Obvious shuffling from the other side of the door moved closer to you until a blondie opened the door.

“She’s here!” Prompto yelled out. He looked back at you and noticed the bags you were carrying, taking them off your hands and adding, “And she bought the food, guys!”

You closed the door behind you and followed Prompto into the living room. On the floor sat the other two who appeared in the photo; they were missing an additional person. You stared at each of their obviously stoned faces one by one, adding two and two together until it hit you.

“So,” you grinned, joining their circle and taking the space between Noctis and Ignis. “Does Gladio know you’re smoking his weed?”

Noct chuckled lazily, “Nope, but what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”

Ignis passed you a freshly rolled joint and a lighter. “Spark it?” he offered with a sluggish smile.

“Why thank you, Iggy.”

You took the joint and placed the filter between your lips, leaning forward as Ignis sparked the lighter. You took a puff, then another, and one more until the burn looked even from your end. A deep exhale with a cloud of smoke escaped your lips, adding to the already low visibility of the room. Psychedelic rock music softly blasted from Noct’s speakers on the table as you passed it over to Prompto who was busy digging in.

He grabbed the joint and took a sip of water. “You guys know what,” he inhaled sharply. “I love eating.”

Prompto took another puff, holding it in for a couple seconds before releasing completely. He passed it to Iggy who just opened a can of Ebony. Careful, he took a quick sip from his fountain of youth and followed it with a deep inhale of his perfect roll.

“And I love Ebony.”

The Prince happily accepted Iggy’s joint offer, moving forward to grab it before leaning back on the couch. He stretched out his right leg and fixed his left knee up.

Giggling, he took his first drag of the new joint. “And I love–” He turned to you for a second then quickly looked away, shaking his head. “Lucis!” he quickly finished, exhaling the smoke.

“You always get nationalistic when you’re high,” you pointed out, erupting in laughter with Prompto and Iggy.

Noct joined in and ran a hand through his midnight hair, “It’s because I think the past Kings of Lucis try to speak to me when I’m stoned!”

The roaring got louder with his comment and the joint started another cycle. You took it from Noct and passed it on to Prompto who kept it between his thumb and index fingers.

“Do you guys think the past Kings see us right now?” he asked.

“If they did,” Noct said. “I just wanna say sorry to my great-great-great-grandfather’s grandfather,” he finished off.

Next thing you knew, Noct was already handing the joint to you. Has it been that long already? Or did I space out? Wow, this is some pretty good shit.

Your eyes began to droop, but from the corner of your eye, you could see the Prince watching you take a hit. Unsure of whether it was the weed or just you, you started to become more conscious of your actions as you handed the half-joint over to the marksman. Prompto let it hang on the corner of his lips for a few moments, fixing the snacks you had bought on the table in the middle of your circle.

“... I’m fairly certain His Majesty’s done his fair share of rule breaking,” Ignis chimed in, snapping you back into reality.

Okay, you were transcending your current realm.

You shook your head to look at the three men chatting away. You must’ve been quiet for a while now, considering the fact that you weren’t entirely sure what they were on about.

“King Regis toking? Fuck me, that’d make for one hell of a cover!” Noct exclaimed as he entered a fit of laughter.

Slowly, Iggy exhaled once more and a cloud of smoke appeared above your heads. He tapped Noct’s arm and showed him the remaining of the joint, prompting him to calm down a little bit so he could take his hit.

“Your old man? A stoner?” Prompto reiterated with his thumb under his chin. “I could so picture it, dude!”

“And as it turns out, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” Ignis teased.

“Get off my dick, Iggy,” Noct joked in response, making all of you laugh this time. “And stop trying to sneak vegetables in my food all the damn time. If you like them so much, just eat it yourself!” He puffed out and stretched his arm out to you. “You should roach this,” he suggested with a faint smile quirking up his lips.

“Nah, go ahead,” you offered back. “You’re already holding it.”

“But you just got here!” he retorted, moving his arm up and down to add emphasis to the burning joint. “Those in favor, say I.”

“I!” Prompto and Iggy voted together, raising their right hands in support.

You shrugged, “If you insist.”

You roached what was left of the roll, then killed it on the ashtray on the table. The moment you leaned back on the couch, you felt a tap on your arm and saw Noctis doing the exact same thing he was doing just now.

“Wait, what the fuck?” you said out loud, looking over at the filter of the last joint on the ashtray, then back at the joint Noctis was holding. “Didn’t I just kill one?”

“Dude, that was ages ago,” Prompto answered you as his right hand dove inside a bag of chips.

“No way,” you replied in disbelief.

On your left, Noct refrained himself from chuckling, in turn making Iggy chuckle too. The two of them looked at each other and, unable to control themselves, burst into a mixture of heavy wheezing and loud ha-has.

Your eyes switched from studying Noct and Iggy’s face, bouncing back and forth as you watched them either slap their thigh or clap their hands. The Prince favored the thigh slap more, while the Royal Advisor preferred to clap his leathered hands.

“Ah, you’re so fucking cute when you’re stoned,” Noct blurted out, turning his head to face your blush-mantled cheeks.

You rolled your eyes in a response but you could feel the heat on your face rising. Mockingly, you grabbed the not-so-new joint from his fingers and inhaled. “I swear,” you held your breath. “I just roached the other one.”

“If you did, we wouldn’t be having this conversation, now would we?” Prompto fired back as he pulled his hand out to take the joint.

You paused, “But we were having a totally different conversation before this.”

“Indeed,” Iggy nodded. “Prompto and I best be going.”

“Huh?” you responded. “I just got here, Iggy! Come on, stay a while longer?”

“Just got here?” a voice from below you asked.

You looked down and found Noct’s head resting on your lap, his glassy blue eyes looking straight into yours. Once you began to feel the physicality of your body, you found your right hand unconsciously combing through his hair. When did he lie down?

“Yeah, didn’t we just...?” You pointed over at the overflowing ashtray on the table, spotting the countless filters resting on top of each other. The food was completely devoured, and you realized you actually felt pretty full.

“Holy shit, how stoned are you?” Prompto taunted. “It’s almost midnight and I’m fuckin’ sleepy.”

“Again, you guys don’t have to go,” Noct said. “Just sleep here!”

Iggy and Prompto looked at each other, rolling their eyes at that comment he just made. You stared as the two of them conversed with their eyes, obviously making sure you wouldn’t get the hint.

“Nah, I’d rather sleep on my own bed,” Prompto declined.

“I share the same sentiments,” Iggy nodded, moving his hand up to adjust his glasses. “By the way, Noct, I’m in no mood to drive so I’ll be leaving the Regalia in your hands.”

“Ha,” Noctis scoffed. “I’m a great driver!”

“I meant to say, ‘don’t fuck it up.’” Ignis bit back. “Goodnight, you two.”

"Later!” Prompto called out.

This left you and Noctis’ head on your thighs all alone. You awkwardly continued to play with the softness of his hair, pretending like this was a normal occurrence in your friendship. He attempted to do the same, lightly grazing the thumb on his right hand over your left knee.

Finally, he cleared his throat and broke the silence. “I don’t... I don’t think you’re in the condition to drive,” he stated.

“I-I–”

Was he seriously asking you to sleep there?

“I think I’ll be fine,” you nodded.

“Please, I insist!” he maintained. “If anything terrible happened to you...”

Noct’s voice trailed off but he kept his eyes locked on yours.

You took a deep breath, “Alright. Alright, yeah, sure.”

Okay, he gets it, you’re staying the night. Calm down.

“Cool!” he squeaked, getting up and patting the dust from his cargo pants away. “I’ll... I’ll get the couch ready. You can take my bed,” he generously presented.

“Noct,” you titled your head. “Please, I’ll take the couch. I don’t wanna displace you in your home.”

He scratched the back of his head and aired out a laugh, “It’s no big deal, really!”

Your heart began to beat faster as the seconds passed. Finally, you plucked up the courage and proposed,

“I don’t mind sharing the bed.”

His sea blue eyes grew wide for a moment before he quickly bobbed his head up and down in extreme concurrence. You entered the bedroom behind him, and even though you’ve been in there countless times before, being along with Noctis was pushing your mind into overdrive, your heart into arrest, and your primal want into a need.

As you settled into bed with him, all cleaned up and still quite blazed, you snuggled up to his side and patted his arm in an upward motion. He looked down at you and grinned, lifting his arm up and allowing you to place your head on his shoulder. Tilting your body sideways, you closed your eyes and rested your hand on his chest.

It was a relief to know that his heart was beating just as fast as yours.

“Happy 420,” he said randomly, causing you both to giggle.

“Happy 420, Noct.”

He planted what seemed like a long, overdue kiss on your forehead. Maybe the next time you smoke together, the two of you will finally be vocal about how you feel for each other.

The past 3 years one of those trips was one she went on with her sisters and she’s planning another this year, but isn’t sure if she’ll be able to because I’ve needed more help these past few months due to health reasons and some things only she can help me with because she knows how and I only feel comfortable with her doing. I feel really bad because I don’t want her to have to cancel, she’s really been looking forward to it and I know it’s something she needs for her own wellbeing because she’s been stressed and spread thin having to deal with a lot of things.

rooney - “So...this is going to sound bad, but during my childhood, I spent my summers in France, and whenever we’d take trips to Paris I had this habit of stealing little knick-knacks from different shops...often little tourist-y things, kind of just a challenge for myself to see if I’d get away with it. I always did, and I kept it up throughout my teen years. I know, it’s bad. I lost most of the stuff, but I still have a lot of it and they’re all special to me even though I got them by very immoral means...gimme a break, I was a kid! Oh, and I also really treasure my grand-mere’s family recipes. And my tea garden, of course.”

gianni - “Truthfully, I don’t tend to value material things...I try to minimize my attachment to personal belongings so that I’d be able to get up and go anywhere with a moment’s notice if I wanted to. That being said, however, I do have quite a hefty collection of books that I’d probably miss if they were to perish in some disaster. I also have an incredibly unorganized collection of personal writings that I’d hate to part with...even though I can’t even begin to sort through them all in the first place.”

santi - “letters...a bong shaped like an elephant...but most of the important things stay in my head.”

39. Tell us about one of the times they got injured?

rooney - “When I was five I climbed an apple tree and fell about 10 feet and landed right on my back. It knocked the wind out of me and then an apple fell on my head and I had a bump on my forehead for a month, much to Audrey’s amusement. I’ve also suffered a lot of twisted ankles due to clumsiness.”

gianni - “I used to do a lot of sports in my youth, so injuries were like second nature to me...I must’ve broken every extremity at least once. They probably never healed right, either, because I was never one for resting.”

santi - “just one? well...i got into a pretty bad car accident once. no wait, okay okay, how about the time i wiped out so bad at the skate park that i broke my toe and the bone was literally sticking out? that was pretty good. or the time i broke my...nah nevermind, no one wants to hear about that. just take my word of advice: be careful in the cowgirl position, folks”

58. Do they ever have nightmares? If so, what about?

rooney - “I used to have a recurring nightmare where I’d be in a car that was driving except there was no driver. Every time I’d panic and take the wheel, except I didn’t know how to drive...I don’t remember anything past that, just that every time it happened, I woke up with my heart racing. I probably stopped having those dreams when I actually learned to drive, haha!”

gianni - “I periodically have dreams where I’m sucked into the couch into an alternate dimension. Some of them have turned into nightmares, but most are just bizarre.”

santi - “ha.”

santi - getting caught streaking in boarding school and sub-sequentially losing a bet to drako. or spilling coffee beans all over himself in an attempt to impress a cute waitress at the bakery he worked at 🙃

gianni - when he first met rooney’s parents he had just begun learning spanish and tried to say he was embarrassed for spilling a drink on himself in all his nerves but accidentally used the word “embarazada”, thinking it meant embarrassed. so instead of saying “estoy muy avergonzado” (i am very embarrassed) he said “estoy muy embarazada” (i am very pregnant.) rooney’s dad had a good laugh out of that one.

rooney - most of rooney’s embarrassing moments are borne from her clumsiness. one time in middle school she tripped over thin air in front of her crush and rolled all the way down a hill and got a black eye from hitting her face on a rock at the bottom. she’s beauty she’s grace

lou - lou is one of those people who refuses to be embarrassed because she hates showing weakness. so if something embarrassing happens to her she’ll shrug and brush it off even if she’s secretly dying inside. often she’s always one step ahead, so if anything, she’ll be the one to catch you in the act and embarrass you.

7. Which of their relationships have impacted them most positively?

rooney - i think it goes without saying, gianni. audrey and her parents, and maisie and mars as well because she's learning the ropes of parenting through the way audrey interacts with them. her bffs 5ever, eli and cosmic <3 also idiot boy santi because in a way she is a lot like him, though not as lost. they help each other out when they’re in similar mindsets.

gianni - rooney of course, his parents, his bb boy santi ;-; all of his old dorm mates at boarding school, and his little one on the way (same goes for rooney)

santi - gianni, rooney, avey, his family even though he would fake his death in order to avoid them, his old dorm mates, eli and yes-- even miyu, lion-hearted girl, la pelirrojita, and.............fiona, above all. ;_____;

8. What’s the weirdest thing they’ve ever eaten?

rooney - one time her grandmother made her eat tripe. never again. she also used to eat bugs for money and candy when she was a kid.

gianni - he’ll try literally anything at least once, so he’s eaten a lot of weird shit. one time drako dared him to eat haggis. no ragrets

9. Describe the way that they sleep.

rooney - constant cuddler. she attaches herself to gianni’s body and makes it impossible for him to turn in the middle of the night. it’s okay, he doesn’t mind.

gianni - he spreads out and takes up the entire bed and somehow messes up the sheets and the covers in the process. rooney doesn’t need that much space when she’s constantly spooning him anyway tho

10. What is their favorite food/kind of food?

rooney loooooves egyptian food and middle eastern food. she always looked forward to taking trips to morocco when she lived in spain because they had the best food. she also has a weakness for lebanese cookies. and gianni is a big fan of indian food...but his mama’s lasagna has always been his favorite ;-;

both rooney and gianni are right handed! but gianni is trying to teach himself to be ambidextrous...emphasis on trying.

rooney usually throws a star wars party because her birthday is may 4th. it’s usually her, gianni and santi, but also sometimes eli, miyu and audrey as well. last year they marathonned the OT and played a star wars drinking game (take a shot every time luke whines lmao)

gianni takes his bbys on a camping trip every year for his birthday, as you saw last year hehe

rooney definitely has a sweet tooth. but she has a unique taste in desserts and likes to try new things, especially from different cultures. and if it’s too sweet, she won’t like it. gianni doesn’t really, but he does make an exception every time he visits the wallace’s bakery.

santi definitely prefers hot to cold. he tries to preserve summer for as long as he can. it makes him feel like a phoenix starting anew.

he kind of gets grossed out because it reminds him of that scene in matilda where the fat kid eats the entire chocolate cake. but then he’d probably eat it anyway because hey it’s cake!

santi - NO lmao. well...it fluctuates. it was good for a while...now he’s stuck again.

lou - she wants to be happy but she won’t let herself be because she feels an impending sense of letdown. she always gets let down.

santi is messy as fuck. but we knew that. lou tries to stay as organized as possible, but sometimes she just gets overwhelmed and lives in the mess for a little while.

santi - when you only get like one wonton in your wonton soup, remembering something specific that’s just on the tip of your tongue but never quite getting it, that level of drunk/high where you start to feel yourself coming down and you realize just how lackluster everything is again.

lou - talking in circles, bullshit, repeating herself, family feud episodes that don’t feature steve harvey as the host, dirty dishes and bad reception.

but lou treasures the few baby pictures she has of fiona because she wasn’t able to afford a camera or even a nice phone at the time. ;-;

santi - lobster. he fucking hates lobster. also those cheap chocolates with the cherry inside, blech. also not a fan of mushrooms.

lou - PEEPS. she ate too many one easter as a kid and now she gags at the sight of them. oh and tomatoes.

santi - grey, but not silver. he likes silver.

lou - chartreuse. and most shades of green. she only likes one very specific shade of blue-toned green.

as for lou, she can’t stand the smell of bacon. it’s too overpowering. it’s fine at first but then it gets to be too much, and she doesn’t even care for bacon anyway. also that garbage smell the periodically wafts through the air in the city, especially when you’re driving through new jersey lmao

PETER CROUCH: FA’s decision to fine Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a victory for killjoys

[19459108] How could they sue him? I asked myself that question when I heard Jurgen Klopp received a call from the FA.

I had seen the derby of Merseyside and, since I always have to stay in the camp of Liverpool, I loved what I saw in the last minute.

De Klopp started tearing on the field to jump on Alisson Becker, my first reaction was to burst with laughter.

Spontaneity is one of the many things I like about football. I played in enough derby's to know what to bet.

We beat Everton 3-1 at home and away in my first season in Liverpool and the sound at Anfield was unreal, so it was always uneasy when Divock Origi beat the winner.

Klopp became entangled in the moment, but was that a big deal? I appreciate why Evertonians thought it terrible to see it. To be honest, if I were in the position of Marco Silva, I would have mourned if I had seen the opposition leader gallop that way.

Silva deserves credit for the remaining calm both after the game and in the following days. You saw with Neil Warnock and Nuno Espirito Santo, when Cardiff lost to Wolves last season, how managers can make exceptions to parties and situations can get ugly.

Yet I saw the good side in what Klopp did, I would have been in trouble. I know that the £ 8,000 punishment I received was not exaggerated but still, I do not think it was necessary.

Forget Klopp for a minute and be honest. If the manager of your team would respond that way after you scored an essential goal, you would love it. Do not say you would not do that. We want our managers to feel what we feel and Liverpudlians saw that from Klopp.

The best response I've given & # 39; I've seen it from one of my managers was Stoke's Tony Pulis after my Joe Joe volley ended in 2012. It was obviously the best goal that I've ever scored, but the thing that I remember the most, turned around and saw Tony shaking up and down with his waving baseball cap & # 39; Oh my f *** ing God! & # 39;

He had this big smile on his face – again, just pure enjoyment – while he was walking up and down the sidelines, not really knowing what to do. We play football and watch the moments when absolute happiness gets the upper hand.

There is also something nice for a football player to see his manager respond to a big moment that way. You feel like you are all there and it helps you through the difficult times.

That's why I never pulled my head around those people who score against their former clubs, but show no emotion. What is it all about?

You see someone apologize to supporters who used to play and & # 39; sorry & # 39; found, but it's all for effect. If you're sorry, why would you shoot in the first place?

Klopp quickly accepted his sentence and said he would not do it again. I apologized, but I was happy to read and did not regret his actions. Why would he?

It was passionate and devoted and Arsenal showed those qualities in abundance. Watching how the Gunners develop in the second half of the season will be intriguing.

He is intense but Sol will not portray him as a master

I was born in Macclesfield and have always followed the fate of the local team, so I was very happy that my old friend Sol Campbell got his first job in management at Moss Road. His first league game is on Saturday in Colchester.

Sol is an intense man, but he is meticulous in everything he does. Some people think he will try and get in and out of Macclesfield, but I will look at every detail to maximize his chances of success.

I played with him for both Portsmouth and England but I met him for the first time at Tottenham when I came through the rows. Sol, Les Ferdinand, Steven Carr and Stephen Clemence were always brilliant with academic guys who came and he was an inspiration to us all.

When Sol was in his splendor, it was almost impossible to play against him. He could have played for every team in the world after he left Tottenham but eventually went to Arsenal and was a mainstay in perhaps their biggest team ever. Trust me when I say that he really was that good.

He has made no secret of his ambition to become a manager and fairplay for facing a difficult challenge. Given their current position, the 92nd team in the divisions, is the only way up and I hope that he can help them out of trouble.

It was a joy to watch Manchester City again on Tuesday. I said four weeks ago that I can see them looking undefeated through the season and the chances of that drama will be drastically reduced if they reach Chelsea on Sunday.

The way they saw Watford was so impressive and a man who stood out was Riyad Mahrez. I knew he was a top player in Leicester, but did not see how he would make a difference to the City team after paying £ 60 million for him.

However, he was glorious on Vicarage Road. Like many others who have joined City, his level has risen because of working with Pep Guardiola. Watford is a difficult place to go, but with the exception of the sticky last 10 minutes, they have made it seem right through the sea and I can not see how they will be stopped.

You can only imagine how Liverpool feels. This is the best team I have seen coming from Anfield in 20 years and it looks like they will be short.

Everything has been set up for a huge game between City and Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on January 3rd.

Who caught my eye?

Morgan Gibbs-White. I have spoken to everyone who wants to listen to me since Stoke Wolves played in a preseason-friendly and I will not stop. This young boy plays and passes with the calm of a veteran. He quickly goes to places.

Away from the field I look forward to the next Thursday evening. Liam Gallagher is performing a stripped-up show at the Union Chapel in London and I'm lucky to have a ticket.

Shopping ! Because there was no game in the week of the week, I thought I would try to continue with lists of gifts. How successful I am, however, remains to be seen. Usually I get it hopelessly wrong. What I listen to …

Shawn Mendes worries his social media posts aren’t “good enough”.

And it’s the most relatable news you’ll hear all day.

Shawn Mendes just got REAL about the pressures of social media. On October 1st Shawn opened on Twitter about his struggle with posting online. Shawn started by writing, “Hey, sorry i haven’t been very active on social media lately. Been struggling with it and the last thing i wanna do is post something because i feel like i have to instead of want to you know? I always just want to be 100% real with you guys always!” We’ve all been there. Feeling like you HAVE to post something online can trigger the worst kind of anxiety. It’s clear that the pressures don’t go away when you have millions of followers. Many artists feel the need to post on social media all the time for their fans and also to stay relevant.

Shawn explained his struggle a bit further, admitting he worries that his posts aren’t good enough writing, “Plus i guess if im being honest i dont post a lot because i worry its not “good” enough… whatever that truly means and that’s pretty stupid SOo”. If we could talk to Shawn right now- we would tell him that the TRUTH is always good enough. Fans follow you because they want to get to know the real you. And we love you no matter how often you post on social media.

Of course, Shawn’s fans responded to these posts with a ton of love. One fan named @imhighkeyshawn even encouraged Shawn to take a break saying, “You have been working your a** off for the last few years and you honestly deserve a break, yes meeting your fans and doing music makes you happy but at the same time you’re only 20 years old. You deserve time to yourself… Your health and happiness comes first. We will still be here.”

Shawn noticed the overwhelming support from his fans and responded writing, “just wanted to say hi and that im seeing everything you guys are tweeting and seeing how much youve been supporting the remix and everything i do and i love you and thank you always !!!!”.

Interview with Charlotte Winbolt

I account Charlotte as the main influence for me discovering my love of creating magazines, telling stories and working with interesting women. I interviewed her in my second year for a magazine created for diversity, she was working as a lap dancer in the night and then completing her floristry course in the day, I real thought provoking contrast I thought.

I envisioned that it would be a good idea to create another article with her, but this time make it stronger and better than before. I feel that my skills have improved since then, and I’d like to showcase her story. It also would be nice to see how her life has changed since then, as she is no longer working at the club, but instead running her own floristry business and working in Topshop part time. I desperately want other women to hear Charlottes story, as she is someone that embodies the very essence of an empowering woman. Not many can loose their mother, survive sex work, and then create their own business solely of their own back.

I decided questions that would reflect this, as well as give Charlotte enough space to draw her own ideas. As she’s so busy, we messaged each other back and forth over text and email, and I have organised a date to shoot with her when she’s not working. I’m slightly concerned that this is a little late, as the nearest date she’s available is the 4th of April, will this give me enough time? Should I see if she's free before?? I asked if I could shoot her at her home, as this is where she runs her business, again I have set up a Pinterest board to generate inspiration for this shoot, and so Charlotte knows the direction I am after. I have recieved her answers, but I might her to edit these as she swears a little, but this is something I can decide when I come down to creating the article on InDesign.

1. Hi there Charlotte, for those who don’t know you as well as I do, would you mind briefly describing your story so far?

So basically, I'm a failed art student (hahahahahah Oh god) and retail slave of 5 years. I had a brief stint of working in the ‘nightlife entertainment’ industry, and now I'm training to be a florist.

2. What is it you do exactly, a little birdie tells me you’re quite the flower queen?

I'm trying my hardest to run a small floristry business from home while working a 37.5-hour week, at the moment, so definitely a struggling but motivated flower queen!

3. When I last interviewed you, you were juggling working at the club while completing your floristry training, how has life blossomed since then?

Life has blossomed in the sense that I don't work night and day now; I have so much more time for my own wellbeing which feels fucking wonderful. My relationships with friends are finally great and I'm the healthiest I've ever been, mentally and physically.

4. You’ve also acquired some new beautiful artworks on your body, would you describe what these are, why you got them and the inspiration behind them?

I'm a little bit obsessed with tattoos and a great tattooist has done most of my recent ones, Patrick Bates (Instagram: European.son.420). He hand pokes, which is just a needle and ink as opposed to the traditional way of doing it with a gun. I love the handwritten element of his work, and it feels much less aggressive on your body. Tattoos never used to be personal to me or mean anything, but I think they all do now, I'm inspired by my own mind state as every time I get a new one I'm in a different place. That sounds really fucking pretentious, but it doesn't come from a place of showiness.

5. How is your floristry business flourishing?

I don't know if flourishing is the correct word, because how much can a business really flourish when you work a 37 hour week and you like napping as much as I do haha? It's definitely progressed in the sense that I am doing a few weddings this year, I have plans in the works to do a few workshops this summer.

6. What’re your hopes for 2017, what do you wish to do?

It's as simple as not losing my fucking marbles. I've always struggled with balance my whole life so it's just maintaining that really. In an ideal world I'd like to make enough money from Stem & Petal to work part time in retail, but I think that might be a 2018 pipe dream.

7. With Infinite being Brighton based, what does this city mean to you?

I was on holiday recently, and I couldn't stop telling everyone I met that Brighton is the best city in the whole world. I don't think I realised how much it meant to me until I nearly left 2 years ago for good…like I've met some of the best people ever in Brighton. As much as I hate the tourists and shoosh and the wind, it could be a lot worse. Just means familiarity.

8. Is this somewhere that you feel you could call home?

Yes, definitely.

9. Who or what would you cite as your main inspiration?

This is a really hard question, because it changes daily…probably the people I surround myself with that I genuinely am fully in love with, like all my friends. Quality over quantity is the best decision with friends and I've met some of the purest kindest gentlest people this year. It's when I noticed that I literally had no negative feelings ever towards them that I realised that these people are my soulmates.

I guess I'm inspired by some celebrities, but not on a deep level. I inspire myself too because of all the times I thought ‘fuck I'm not gonna make it to tomorrow’, and whoops here I am? That's super cool, like I did it. So nearly everyone is my main inspiration…sorry I didn't answer that question very well haha.

10. What is your current life motto?

That it's going to be good and I'm only going to thrive more. That happiness being a constant state, is a stupid westernised idea and it's not that simple. Everything is good already, but it's not going to be all the time and it's okay? You're allowed to have bad weeks and basically I need to stop being so hard on myself haha because it only makes me miserable.

11. Do you believe in fate?

I didn't, but I think maybe I do. I don't believe in people using fate as a precursor to them making bad decisions you know? Like not everything is fate, sometimes you just make stupid decisions because you're stupid. But definitely the universe has conspired to bring me the people I have met in the past year

12. How does it feel to be so young, but already achieved so much, with Stem Petal being testament to that?

It feels like a lot of pressure but I think I work better under pressure

13. Lastly, talk me through your favourite flowers (mine are chrysanthemums)

THE HARDEST QUESTION EVER! I fucking love peonies. I'll get married in July just to have a peony wedding. But I also love dahlias, sweet peas, tulips, anenomies and ranunculus. Oh, and roses. Probably daffodils too. All of them really, I think they're fucking wonderful.

I’m not sure if I’m going to include all the interview questions and answers, as upon reflection it is quite lengthy??? I think that once I have the on location photoshoot with Charlotte I’ll be able to decide from there, it definitely makes for an interesting read! I had my Mum and friends read it and they reported how interesting Charlotte is, without even meeting her.
