everything in ghost trick is the fault of a judicial system that relies on making cops desperate for approval and distinction even if that means punishing innocents

ghost trick is actually just about how cops pressure confessions and guilt and that sometimes a little kitty and a dog can fix everything

the importance of showing queers that survived the 80s' aids crisis and reagan and still having so much hope and love to share is exactly the point

roy thought the diamond dogs were stupid -> roy started becoming more emotionally aware and befriending ted -> roy started to be interested in being a diamond dog at least on a casual basis after they comfort him about his insecurities with the photo shoot -> nate betrayed ted by divulging his personal 'weakness' -> maybe roy no longer felt comfortable talking in that setting about his insecurities in case the press found out -> roy and keeley broke up because of roy's insecurities -> roy is more firm on his stance of the diamond dogs are stupid in season 3 -> roy becomes best friends with jamie -> roy continues his emotional awareness journey -> roy communicates his insecurities to keeley and apologizes and presumably they get back together
what i'm getting at is that male friendship and vulnerability is important <3

phoebe: how do i make uncle roy happy for uncle's day?
(proceeds to invite the one person that he's spent years complaining about and only recently started including compliments inbetween "fucking prick" and "fucking muppet")
also phoebe: i bet i can get enough pounds from them cursing on uncle's day to get [insert obnoxious and brightly colored gift to her uncle on his birthday] without him or mum noticing

rewatching doctor who and found this delightful scene from season 6 episode A Good Man Goes to War. i love it almost as much as her "you remind me of my third wife!" when she first meets 12 (which i still believe to be about 13 ok)

a reminder that while we're all hurting a lot and need to band together to get the republicans out of office there exists a website that is all good news and is very helpful with remembering to have some hope

last night i decided to start the switch from windows to debian because fuck windows. i was like. it may require more effort than ubuntu or other linux distros, but i majored in computer science i can figure it out with the help of the internet.
[insert spongebob's 4 hours later image]
i went to bed. woke up at 5:30 am. spent another 2 hours and finally got my bios to recognize the usb as a valid boot. started it up feeling like a genius.

everyone complains about their job and coworkers (me included). however, i just watched a fantastic interaction that gave me so much hope for humanity that i made a tumblr post. so here's to the coworkers, clients, folks, etc. that are on top of their work and commicate any delays and are just all around awesome at making your job easier by doing theirs' well. it may be the bare minimum, but by the paperwork needed and emails sent, they actually do it.
