Designing some skin for the lil’ shit. Mainly for fun and for personal preferences because obviously this thing definitely does not suit a game set in the Heian period.

QZGS and Onmyoji for the meme!

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): this is so hard I love them all... but I think it has to be the master gremlin himself, ye xiu
scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): qiu fei!!! qiu fei!!!! eternally seventeen qiu fei!!!
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): nobody is underappreciated in my HEART ok so this category is invalid... but I guess lin jingyan?
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week): nobody is obscure in my heart... wu xuefeng!
poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): tang hao worlds redemption arc/tangle trashfire GO
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): look I don't think I'm ever going to stop making jokes about mr second place so, zhang jiale I am very very sorry but also it is very very funny
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell): nobody deserves superhell in qzgs, even liu hao can be redeemed. not via catboys, though.
and for onmyo:
blorbo: susabi, next scrunkly: taishakuten! I will protect him. just not in duel. and not in fic. and not in court. scrimblo bimblo: susabi is underappreciated :( he still only has like five loading screens and it's criminal the sp miketsu illustrations have never been sold glup shitto: s-susabi............ poor little meow meow: yorimitsu is problematic and controversial and pathetic over onikiri so I strongly believe he is the poor little meow meow, actually horse plinko: tormenting onikiri IS fun actually he doesnt deserve the trauma but it is So Fun and I like the mess it leaves behind eeby deeby: the person who greenlit sp menreiki and sp yamakaze's kit. with my sincerest, sincerest regards, fuck you

Very sorry to say that there will be no guide for the upcoming Kawazaru Super Oniou / Uber event on this blog or the Onmyoji wiki. I, wiki admin Tenseki, currently don't have enough time or energy atm to make one.
You can, however, refer to the SP Yamakaze Super Oniou / Uber guide for recommended teams on this blog or the wiki. Even though some of the teams might be a bit outdated, they can still be useful if you're missing some of the more recent SSR/SP shiki.
If you want to search for videos of super oniou / uber teams, use the following 2 search terms on youtube and bilibili: "超鬼王" or "川猿超鬼王". To sort search results by newest on bilibili, select the "最新发布" option.
Update
Due to giving myself an extended break to focus on school, there will also be no guides for the first half of this year.

Onmyoji Headcanons pt 1
Part 1 because I know I’ll be doing more of these
SSRs
Out of all of them, only Tamamo-no-Mae bothers to follow current trends. Catch Shuten and the lot wearing the same old robes a thousand years later while Tamamo strolls down the catwalk during Paris fashion week.
Susabi has met his frog self.
(Rumors say he brought it to Takaharamagara and almost made it the patron god of adoration.)
(Miketsu loves it.)
Out of all the spirits, Shishio is the hardest to find. He and Yamakaze are acquainted if only for their shared habitat, so the only way you’ll catch a glimpse of him is to ask Yamakaze, and that’s only if Yamakaze doesn’t immediately tear your face off for intruding on his forest.
Lord Arakawa and Ootengu meet up once a month to complain about discuss their grievances with bureaucracy.
Shuten used to join them, but ever since he lost his memories the state of Mount Ōe has sharply deteriorated from “yeah he knows what he’s doing” to “there’s paperwork piled in every corner of Shuten’s home, it’s been three days since he’s slept, and every time he blinks there’s an imprint of words imprinted on his eyelids.”
Otakemaru has a pet turtle that sits on his shoulder whenever he plans his conquests. He claims it’s a good luck charm, and at this point Kujira is too tired to disagree.
If there’s one thing they all agree on, it’s to protect Kaguya at all costs.
Ootengu has the softest hair, followed closely by Shishio. But you’ll never get close enough to check.
Put Shuten and Shiranui together, and chaos will erupt. Shiranui may not look the part, but she’s got a killer alcohol tolerance and enough stubbornness to rival Ibaraki.
Yoto-hime met Onikiri once during their shared time under the Minamoto Clan. Once they were freed, they met again and spent the night complaining talking about Minamoto no Yorimitsu.
Hana (or Kachōfūgetsu) is the de facto therapist for the spirit world. You often can find Onikiri at her home, falling asleep to the sound of her birds and nightmares chased away by her cool hands on his forehead.
On the flip side, she has arm-wrestled Shuten and won, so don’t underestimate her.
To the rest of the spirit world, Ibaraki Doji is a terrifying force of nature, capable of destroying forests and wrecking entire villages with a single sweep of his demonic arm. Unpredictable, foul-tempered, anyone who gets on his bad side will most likely cease to exist.
Which is why it surprised no one when he was finally tamed by the most powerful spirit of the generation. Who else to curb one of the greatest oni in the world but the greatest?
Put Shuten and Orochi in close proximity, and Shuten will immediately clam up and refuse to move, while Orochi pretends that Shuten doesn’t exist.
Some people chalk it up the natural animosity between the demon king and a (fallen) god. Others aren’t so sure.
Bonus: SPs
SP Ibaraki is how he appeared when he challenged Shuten for the first time, and it’s his natural form.
Ibaraki only changed his appearance after he made a smaller spirit cry with his resting bitch face and Shuten grabbed him by the horn and demanded that he apologize.
During his younger years, Lord Arakawa fought everyone. Otakemaru was the least of it.
Tamamo-no-Mae, Shuten, Yuki-doji, even Menreiki.
Even though he acts all cool and collected now, the older spirits know exactly what kind of spitfire youth he used to be, and they’ll never let him live it down, especially since he scolds Kingyo for being too “battle-hungry.”
Tamamo-no-Mae? The ultimate mom.
SP Tamamo-no-Mae? The cool aunt you wish you had.

Shadow of the Abyss: Demon Domain Event
Tumblr media
A week-long Boss Challenge event. It's pretty much the same as the Sealand recap event - Illusion Boss Trial: Sealand. It serves as a prologue for the next big event that will coincide with the release of the new SSR Taishakuten.
*Important Note: Quite a few noticeable changes have been made to the General skills in the live version of this event. And due to time constraints, this guide cannot be updated to reflect those changes. So please keep this in mind when reading the Skills and Recommended Teams sections.
Bosses:
Exploring the Abyss
Fight a 3 round boss to farm EXP Scrolls needed to upgrade the generals. There are 3 difficulties, costs 6 AP to do and there's no time limit. Can be challenged 20 times per day.
Demonic God Boss Challenges
Fight a boss within a 24 hour period. On every second day, a boss will be available, they can only be challenged 3 times per day, costs 20 AP to do and there's a 3-minute, timer. Despite the 3 challenge limit, there is a practice mode. You can do practice mode as many times as you want but your score for damage dealt will not be recorded and will not count towards ranking. The fight itself is like day 7 of a boss defense/vanquish in super oniou/uber events. In other words, the bosses cannot be KO'd so you're goal is to simply do as much damage as possible within the time limit.
There is guild ranking. Ranking is based on total damage dealt to all the bosses by the top 40 players of a guild.
Generals:
In this event, your onmyouji will be replaced by SP Shuten (days 1-2), SP Ibaraki (days 3-4) and Yorimitsu (days 5-6). They all have 5 skills - a normal attack, a special attack and 3 passives. The skills for SP Shuten and SP Iba are not exactly the same as their regular ones so make sure you read them carefully before using them. Only the passive skills can be swapped out.
Levels and stats are automatically increased by obtaining EXP Scrolls from explore bosses. Skills are upgraded by 1 for every 10 levels. The upgrades are shared with your guild. So to max out the skills, your guild must farm the explore zones to max out their levels.
Levels for the generals are not shared. So when the generals change after day 2 and 4, your guild needs to level them up again.
Skills
Rough translations of the event skills can be viewed in the wiki version of this guide.
Tumblr media
Rewards:
Guild Ranking
The rewards for guild ranking are;
Top 10 guilds: 3 new guild cosmetics (guild border, advert border, background for the member list), 1 blue summon ticket, 200 guild feats, 10000 guild medals, 60mil guild gold
Top 11-30 guilds: 2 new guild cosmetics (advert border, background for the member list), 150 guild feats, 8000 guild medals, 35mil guild gold
Top 31-100 guilds: 1 new guild cosmetic (background for the member list), 100 guild feats, 5000 guild medals, 20mil guild gold
Guild gold is a CN only feature and will be omitted for TW/JP and GL servers.
Quests
Every day there will be 4 daily quests and a bunch of general quests. Basically just need to participate in the event every day.
Rewards for the daily quests are; 10k gold, 20 orochi scales, 20 mochi, a 4* EXP soul, a demon parade ticket, a soul shop refresh ticket, 20 guild feats and a random 6* soul.
Notable rewards for the overall quests are; 2 icon frames (1 still and 1 animated), 150 jade, a black daruma, a 5* white daruma, 300 AP and a lot of gold.
Recommended Teams:
Should you want additional recommendations, search the terms "深渊暗影" (explore bosses) or "魔神征伐" (boss challenges) on bilibili. Also strongly recommend looking through the links in the resource section of the wiki version of this guide.
Explore
Tumblr media
While your guild's generals are completely unlevelled, it's a safe choice to stick to using the 1st listed team. Other teams may rely on the generals being above level 25.
If you choose to use the kyoukotsu SP Iba team for days 3-4, he will need around 140 SPD. While Senhime and Enmusubi just need to be faster than the general SP Iba. However, if you use Yama Usagi as well, you can forget about that SPD requirement.
Depending on how levelled Yorimitsu is on days 5-6, you might need a DPS to clean up any remaining enemies. If not, just bring along some other random shiki.
Boss Challenge
The following teams are the top ones used on CN test server.
Tumblr media
For the first boss, recommend equipping SP Shuten with the 2nd passive and set him to only use normal attacks. Kiyohime's 2-set isn't too important but she does need as much HIT as possible to freeze the Akashita, the boss and 2 other enemies have extremely high RES so don't worry about freezing them. Could also try using Dawn Fairy on her instead. If you don't have SP Tama or Kinnara, then use a strong multi-hit DPS (eg; Takiyasha, Suzuka) with Shadow + tsuchigumo. For CN players who have Nezuko, you can swap Sasori out for her.
The 2nd boss is a netherworld gate type, ie the boss will take very little damage and when all 5 minions are KO'd a new wave of them will be immediately summoned. Recommend equipping SP Iba with the 3rd passive and set him to only use normal attacks. The boss/enemies can hit rather hard, and frequently if you're not careful, so to deal with that you'll need to adjust Enmusubi's soul set/stats. Can do this by giving her Tree Spirit so her heals are stronger and/or giving her more SPD to heal more frequently. Again, for CN players who have Nezuko, you can swap Youkinshi out for her.
The 3rd boss is absolutely annoying. Best way to deal with it is to just abuse Yorimitsu's 3rd passive with the standard 4 Yama Usagi frozen time team or a double Youkinshi team. Keep in mind that with the latter team, it requires you to do a whole lot of targeting so the 2 Youkinshi can constantly give each other new turns. Alternatively, you can use the SP Ootake team instead. SP Ootake is used solely to prevent the boss/enemies from co-oping.
There's also a 3rd possible team for the 3rd boss - the 2nd passive + SP Yamakaze + Shiranui team. This team has a few soul set/stat requirements; SPD-HP-HP Soul Edge or Soultaker set with as much SPD as possible for SP Yamakaze, a broken set crit DMG set with full crit for Shiranui, a SPD-HP-HP Dawn Fairy or Soultaker set with +100 SPD for Kachou, +100 SPD for both Ushi and Kosode. SP Yamakaze, Kachou and Yorimitsu should all be set to use normal attacks.
