This ep is absolutely amazing. So freakin thrilled STC picked up the mirrorverse ep and continued the story to a satisfying conclusion. And also mirror Bones at work!!
Today I discovered the wonderful fan TOS series Star Trek Continues and BOY does it slap
Just finished watching The White Iris (e4) and I'm genuinely crying. Was not expecting a Jim emotional whump episode but I am definitely here for that, yes please
Has anyone else watched this? Until today I've never seen anyone post about it.
The lyrics are from the song “Imposter” by Red. I decided to do a gif with Star Trek Continues’ Mirror McCoy (the episode is called “Fairest of them All”) since the TOS episode didn’t give us much of him.
If there are any Star Trek fans who haven't seen this yet, go look it up on youtube. "Star Trek continues" My expectations were low until I watched the first episode. It's an amazing production!
I just found out about "Star Trek Continues" and it's giving me strong emotions. They nailed the costumes and the effects. I'm like 2 minutes into the first episode, and we have Grant Imahara as Sulu onscreen and I'm simultaneously so happy and so sad.
Hey :) Speaking of turnabout intruder reminded me I wanted to ask if you have seen Star Trek continues? It continues right from the end scene of that episode and finishes the 5 year mission.
I blogged/made links for it here
You might really enjoy it :)
I’ve heard of it but never seen it! Thanks for the link! :D
For those of you who despise Modern Day Trek ( or dreck ) here's a review of a wonderful fan production called Star Trek Continues that nails TOS in particular and Star Trek in general in a way that Paramount Plus and JJ Abrams couldn't even fathom!
ST:Continues also proves that TOS is NOT dated, as the same sensibilities works in the 2010s as well!
The only thing that New Trek ever got right was the portrayal of Captain Pike, as played by Bruce Greenwood in the Reboots and Anson Mount in Discovery!
Please, please please please check out ST:Continues if you are a fan of TOS!
You won't regret it!
The critical accolades and awards are well-deserved!
