Alright, I'm 16 years old and I am FUCKING STUPID. A bunch of older (male) teens are snorting pixie sticks up their nose like drugs. I get convinced (not exactly peer pressure but like I definitely Wanted To Fit In) to join in.

Snorting powder up your nose hurts. Like. I know this probably seems obvious if you've ever gotten dirt or dust in your nose but snorting shit hurts. Espc like. A fucking pixie stick. Anyway I somehow did not get a nosebleed and also unfortunately did not make any friends (I use first person pronoun I/i here but it was one of the system's former hosts) and went on to drop out of school and get my GED at the end of the year (10th grade, idk the outside US equiv but you have 2 more years of school after 10th is over since it goes up to 12). This becomes a semi-funny story to share with people years down the line, the one positive outcome of this dumbass fucking decision.

about a month ago i made a fb post going into detail abt how i feel like many aspects of myself contribute to never having felt entirely human, like being neurodivergent and aroace

someone commented with reassurance that i am human and i know they meant well but. it really bothered me? i never said feeling nonhuman was inherently a bad thing, it's just i sometimes feel frustrated trying to navigate a world that clearly wasn't designed for me.

at my core, i absolutely do not think i am human. nobody else in our system is entirely human, either. and that's okay with us.

It’s so nice to see us finally settle down on the multiple fronters and get one, maybe two at a time (as of like.. 2 days, haha). Individuality is something we’ve been working on and discussing a lot recently. It’s just.. Nice to come back and see what someone else has saved, their messages to friends, making the best of their situation. There’s hardships, there’s setbacks, but being able to come back and see someone, say, trying to design a fursuit, testing out their art skills, becoming their own person, it’s like a breath of fresh air. A “we’re gonna make it after all” relief.

Excited to start my in-system transition. I'm taking things slowly to feel less like I'm cheating re: being able to change my appearance at will, but I've started myself out with some of the basics- longer hair, small boobs, et cetera. I'm still debating the between-the-legs part of transition (I like my dick! I want to keep it!) but I'm happy with everything else.

Noct and I have decided to try for another kid. Magically or traditionally conceived, we've decided it'll be me to have the kid this time around. It's just safer for Noct, his health is bad especially in headspace.

The kids and my family are adjusting well to the transition, as are our friends and partner(s). I'm... Really relieved.

It feels good to be myself, finally, after lifetimes.
