*sigh* Yes I did, during high school. He was the only one (as in never again with someone else. He was SOMETHING ELSE). He ended up with my friend instead. It was kinda messy 😂
They broke up right before graduation though.
Now, three years later, I teach Art while he teaches PE at the same high school we graduated from as a side-job apart from college.
When I knew we both teach I was like...
What the fuck? Yes, what the fuck.
Point is, yes I have. Kinda still is?? Idk. I'm pretty fucking confused at this time hhhhhhh
think part of the reason I love loz is that it allows me to indulge my urge to explore ruins, finding treasure. and also have a sword. the sword is good too.
What I really love about the Vees + Angel dynamic is that if Angel does get redeemed or even just finds a way out of his contract, they are FUCKED and they don't even know it. They don't get it.
Angel is, most likely, their top earner. He's famous as shit, won accolades for his work, and judging by the way his face is the only non-Vee mug pasted on their building's lobby, he's the real breadwinner here. Trends come and go but Angel Dust is fucking here to stay. Yet none of them really seem to take that into account. Sure, Velvette + Vox work to keep him under Val's abusive control, what with the perfume + cameras in his room, but the question of "if sinners CAN be redeemed, and Angel is the poster boy for that hotel, what does that mean for us?" never gets addressed. They are all so short-sighted in their dickishness, so fucking petty, that the only thing they give a shit about is (a) Alastor being back + (b) Angel pissing off Val for daring to leave the studio + daring to have someone who gives a shit about him vouch for him at the studio. Your empire is a house of cards, Angel is the bottom corner of the pyramid, and every little temper tantrum thrown is a gust of wind. I am literally waiting with the popcorn to see it tumble
when you read a fic that gives you a hyper-specific whump scenario that you know would either A.) take forever to find in another story or B.) hasn't been written at all so the obvious conclusion is that you have to write it yourself
If you could have a storyline for chai what would it be ?
i might disappoint you nonny 😅
lita uses the mafia as flavoring for Phayu and Prapai, seemingly with the intent of more sexy, more dangerous, and/or more alluring. which is ridiculous. mafias don't exist in dramas to make the characters sexy. mafias exist in dramas to give pretty boys trauma and make my faves cry.
i think lita writers intended for the semi-legal street racing to be hot, but what i see is Pakin's recruiting grounds. just look at the rules: no violence allowed, bet anything from money to people, don't. tell. anyone.
no violence...enforced by violence and threats of death
bet anything from money to people -> what will you risk, what do you value, how do you treat your 'possessions'
don't tell anyone -> the most important and most obvious rule. why would Pakin give a shit about anyone knowing? the races are an open secret. he shuts down highways. this rule exists so that he knows who might be capable of keeping his other secrets.
the street races are designed to attract reckless young men who come from families with money, influence, and power. they give Pakin not only a lot of information on who might be useful to him later, but also leverage. any consequences from illegal street racing is unlikely to stick to these boys--which is why they think they're safe. but now Pakin not only knows a lot more dirt on them than they do him, but he's also the person they call when they're in trouble (see Phayu, see Prapai)
and Chai's his right hand man. he's the face of the races.
now, there are a lot of character quirks about Chai that i immensely enjoy. as i said in a previous post, the fact that his wardrobe includes zebra print shirts delights me endlessly. him trying to keep his customer service voice in place when the guy calls him a lackey is hilarious. when Rain ordered the mafia men to wait so that he could get a few kicks in on his kidnapper, my first reaction was to text tortoise "Phayu is Pakin's favorite, but Rain is Chai's." and i do think Chai genuinely likes both of them, and i like the idea of Rain sometimes chilling with Chai during the races.
i just don't think it will be enough.
Pakin got two big fish during lita canon--he sort of already had Phayu, given that Phayu works on his bikes and organizes his races, but now Phayu owes him a favor for his men scaring off Rain's kidnapper. and then there's the even bigger fish Prapai, who's the heir to an international corporation, filthy rich, and has shown discretion, loyalty, and drive as one of the top racers--and now owes Pakin a favor and can be threatened with conspiracy for murder. Pakin doesn't care about these two staying around in his races as much as he cares about the fact that he has a hold over them now. one of the main faces holding that power over them will be Chai, and Chai will always be Pakin's man first, Phayu and Rain's friend second.
these boys need to find a way to get away from the races and all these mafia men stat.
Does Momo know what happened to Ogi's old human friend?
If not did Ogi or anyone ever told him?
At first he was unaware of it, but after finding out, he felt sorry and wanted to make up. Ogi of course was still angry at that point and used her cudgel to beat Momo. The little mon then tried to explain to Ogi that it had not been his intention to kill her human partner, as he had no idea what exactly had transpired that night. He only cared about the masks.
Ogi at first didn´t wanted to believe this but after Okidogi and the others confirmed what happened, Ogi started to understand. She still was angry but she decided to give Momo a chance to make up for his past crimes.
(you gave me a heart attack changing your username i couldn’t find you ;w;)
Here are your gifts !
I love these 2 ships so I had my fun with the supernatural prompt !! I was like 4 drawings into the whole elves AU when i realized maybe you meant a more modern setting like with vampires and everything so i rushed a 5th one just to be sure- im a clown i know
Context : Kirino is a nymph (flower & water, symbol waterlily) who meets a human boy (Shindou) and takes him home to his parents who are respectively a wood elf (Kaze) and a dark elf (Fudou) !
I hope you like it :(;゙゚'ω゚'): and i wish you a great day and even better holidays !!
also big thanks to @ina11secretsakka2022 for hosting this event 💖
Woo hello 🎬!! I kept all of your ask here -- I put it like this for my own easy scrolling, but no way am I cutting any of this, it's so perfect AH
Oughhhhgh Haruka getting more confident from hanging out with everyone and getting such positive feedback… I’d imagine the back to back innocent verdict and night of compliments would do wonders for his psyche ;-; And same for Muu and Amane! Minus the inno verdict, but the sudden influx of explicit compliments and acknowledgement of “hey, that was fucked up what they did to you, okay?” I wonder if there’s any awkwardness since After Pain directly follows Bring it On, but I like to imagine Fuuta and Muu have a deeper talk about things in private (and maybe Muu hesitantly mentions her involvement with Rei in preparation for INMF…)
Damn, who’s going to give the sex talk to the kids after Yuno’s vide-- Shidou. Sidou does. Without hesitation. They have to stop him because no one wants to hear it and everyone there already understands the basics.I love the idea of she, Mahiru, Muu, and designer Mikoto chatting about everyone’s fashion sense (I can imagine them poking fun at Fuuta’s tracksuit and Shidou’s patterned shirts.) And planning shopping trips that include everyone!!! Amane and Kotoko are given no choice in the matter, and a lot of the guys are genuinely interested in coming along.
Awww, I love the thought of Haruka getting into a “boy” interest with Fuuta and Mikoto -- he never knew what it was like to have brothers but he’s really enjoying it <3 (Also I’m cracking up over Fuuta trying desperately to convince them “it’s not cringe!!!”)
ASDFSDF Mappi just straight up sobbing and Mikoto handing her tissues 😂 But yes, she also gets choked up during Magic and Amane can’t figure out why. This begins the adults’ efforts to get her out of whatever situation she’s currently in (which Jackalope was already half-working on, but is definitely spurred on by several angry almost-murderers demanding he get it done now.)
I do like that idea of Red more comfortable with showing skin than Blue. (I know people are very emotional about the stalker theory, but I personally never took it in a harmful way. I always enjoyed how it was a symbol of stripping away everything else until you’re left with your true, whole self.) So I like to think that Blue feels too exposed, but Red/Green are the ones who pitched it in a symbolic sense!
I’m losing my mind at Kotoko/Kazui/Red talking about sparring. Everyone else is like “hell yeah, let’s see it!” and Shidou just sitting there like “you all are going to be the death of me. You are NOT fighting.” Because I really want to think about it happening, I’ll say they manage to sneak away at least once and nearly break a prop in the process, to which even Jackalope shuts them down.
I think they all manage to get pretty serious again by the time T2 rolls around, but the hiatus is filled with a lot of sweet moments and healing conversations between everyone. Also, making so many plans for the future helps keep them sane when some of the project immersion gets a bit too real. Whenever they start realizing they might be condemned for their actions and worried that they’re too broken/they’re life is ruined, they come back to those plans and relax a bit.
Absolutely no pressure, but I would love to hear your T2 thoughts! 👀👀👀 I’m so incredibly grateful you’ve taken the time to share your ideas -- from the very beginning this au has been a big collaboration, so it’s super fun bouncing ideas around :D
Oh I love when people take the metaphor of "losing pieces of yourself" in a somewhat literal context because it can create such gorgeous imagery. I liked the dash cosmic horror involved with Arceus as well as the more grounded idea of hastily patching an open wound. And the visual of then having to deal with it after like a back alley patch job. So wonderful. Do you have any more plans with this concept?
YEAH I LIKE IT TOO HSKJSH and yesss exactly re: the mixing of the cosmic/Higher Power aspects of arceus and the lake trio, combined with the extremely real & grounded imagery of being stabbed and bleeding through your shirt and then getting haphazardly sewn back up. theres just something about it.
i think everything involving arceus especially feels abstracted to the point of only being vaguely real—it's the backstage of the universe, occupied by a higher being that humans are barely capable of processing. it's mind-bending and holy and beautiful... and then it cuts a piece of your chest out with its fucking hoof. it's not even delicate about it, which would, at least, bring the two worlds together to the point of being sort of compatible. if it carefully and delicately excised that portion of your heart. but no, it just impales you, and leaves golden shrapnel embedded in your chest, and you're left there dripping blood on the pristine white tile. it's brutal and uncaring just as much as it is sacred. yknow, like a primal force of nature.
in terms of future plans... there's nothing solid rn but obviously there's a TON of potential in the idea of mental/spiritual fuckery being represented as physical violence. for that specific snippet, i think that the physical wound isn't necessarily visible in reality (though there might still be blood on the front and back of his shirt to mark where it was? i'm undecided) but there is some kind of Mark left on the skin. maybe red gemstone-like stitches to show where the lake trio tried to fix things. and then if he ever returns to a more metaphysical space (like, in dreams, or if the gods ever try to talk to him again) it'll still be there, since it's a wound still left on his soul.
additionally, wrt translating btwn mental/spiritual and physical, i think that ever trying to remember what he's forgotten is like picking at the healing wound. it's not good, is what i'm saying, and has the potential to do further damage. that's also part of what mesprit was concerned about, since in cutting the "ragged edges" off to stitch it closed, it was worried that they were just taking even more away. this all gets very conceptual very fast and i'm also rambling hkjhskjsh point is it's all very unfun for ingo there
such a terrific buildup. every player gets a touch on the ball except vicario and commits to the press. push and run football, the same attacking philosophy arthur rowe, one of our own, coined and gave the world is now back at the core of this tottenham team. that’s simply evident in the way maddison (twice!) and udogie pass the ball and immediately go forward to attack the free space off the ball, opening up attacking channels splendidly. how’s that for total football!
