goddddd I LOVE the cover of rodimus holding tailgate who is SO tiny augh its precious

also rlly like the nick roche cover of tyrest looking manic, having just drilled a hole in his head...nice roches art has such a unique energy to it, I love it

oh man, so much going on in the first page...the overlay text of first aid talking to ratchet about ambulon, minimus’s decapitated body, getaway freed in the cell and tailgate’s death timer ticking lower, and then finally ratchet working on poor ambulon

yikes, pharma is such an asshole...ambulon didn't deserve to be caught in the crossfire of all that drama

ooh, time for some backstory on skids (and getaway) - I've always loved stuff like this, bc its kinda ambiguous, since it’s all coming from getaway, and even if most of it is clearly true, there could be omissions or small lies in there...mtmte does a good job leaving space like that sometimes

love that getaway is being noticeably vague about ‘the boss,’ we figure its prowl but its interesting that getaway isn't willing to divulge that even tho its obvious (as rodimus later points out)

I love that we DONT see brainstorm being impacted by the killswitch, even tho he would be as an mto - but from his comments earlier in this arc, we’re kinda supposed to assume he was forged at this point, and we wont hear about his mto backstory til later

ahhh, great issue! this one has a bit less action (at least, until the end), and is more about moving the story forward and explaining a lot that we’ve seen in this arc so far. and gotta say, I love it! I really like all the stuff we learn about this issue, and the character stuff (always fantastic). cant wait for the conclusion!

Every time I wear Baphomet (or any costume that requires an appliance), I get a lot of questions about her, so I'm just going to write up some information and hopefully answer a few of your questions.

I wore Baphomet at Days Of The Dead Atlanta again this year and she was a HUGE success. I'm so thankful for all the positivity that she gets! It makes me so happy that people enjoy seeing her.

She took second place in their The Chaostume Showdown DOTD ATL this year. Thanks for putting on another great show Days of the Dead. And thank you to all the generous vendors and sponsors!!

Baphomet's appliance is a foam latex piece from FX Faces. I highly recommend these guys! They have a great selection of pieces at really affordable prices. They ship them out super fast and their customer service is fantastic.

I adhere my appliances with Pros-Aid and even blend my edges with it as well. She takes about 1-1.5 hours to glue to my face.

She is painted with ShowOffs Body Art / ProAiir Hybrid Makeup. I used my airbrush system from Paasche Airbrush to paint both my appliance and myself. Specifically, I used my Talon and DA400R compressor.

I mixed Proaiir's white and black to get the specific gray shade I wanted and used the black to contour and the white to highlight specific parts of my face and body. I keep my airbrush at 15 PSI to airbrush my face. When airbrushing my neck, arms, and hands, my PSI is around 20-25. She takes about 2-3 hours to paint, that is including the pre-painting I do to just the appliance before I adhere it to my face.

For the gold, I used Mehron NY's gold powder and mixing liquid. For all the little spots, I used a clip brush to apply Mehron's Paradise Paint in black and white.

My secondary horns are Elope Inc's ram horns but repainted.

Even though you can't really see it, I am wearing my cotton 20" CS-345 from Orchard Corset.

These photos were taken by my very patient boyfriend, Alex, who not only helped paint my arms (And did a very good job at it, too!) but also was my handler for the day. Baphomet isn't the easiest costume to wear, unfortunately. My glasses don't fit over the appliance so he had to be my eyes. Since the piece sits on my upper lip, it can make eating and drinking a little difficult. So he did his best to make sure I wasn't hungry or dehydrated. My corset and ram horns made it difficult to get out of the car so he even had to help me exit my vehicle. He really did make wearing Baphomet a lot easier this time. I think I'll keep him around. . . . .
