Okay what’s really cool about Eleanor and Chidi being on earth is that they are finally completely on the same level. Like Chidi’s still the teacher, but he’s completely aware of his own failings and knows that he needs to be better just like Eleanor does. They’re both helping each other in a way that’s more explicit than it ever was in the Bad Place, even after they found out the truth (especially because this Eleanor is already a way better person than she was at the beginning of any of the reboots). It’s just really interesting to see, and I’m very much a fan of the new dynamic.

Season 2 of the good place could be a bit iffy, especially the premiere, but season 3 looks so promising! I love Simone, she’s a brilliant addition to the cast and I’m looking forward to seeing more about her, Chidi and Eleanor’s friendship is pure and Tahani continues to be amazing. Janet just gets better and better- her trying to see the judge and Michael as her mum and dad was just comedy gold and I loved her questions about Jason, I’ve such a soft spot for the two of them together. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Eleanor and Tahani, I love that for once they’ve been introduced on the same level without the class differences they had in the first two series and seem to have a solid connection from moment one. The ending was just brilliant, Adam Scott is a comedy genius and more screen time for him can only be a good thing. Him becoming part of the group will sure make for an interesting dynamic!
