Hnnng Grovyle ;0; What can I say, you can fit so much emotional trauma into this little lizard. He’s the most capable guy in the game, he fucks up every plan he’s involved in, he’s incredibly kind and caring, he’s also incredibly violent and would shoot first ask questions later, his spirit shines so brightly it makes you wonder why they needed to bring back sunlight to the future. I met this character in 2009 and he changed my whole worldview, completely and utterly rewired my brain. Fantastic creature

7. What's the weirdest thing (character) has done/ would do?

You didn't specify so random Link again... Hibiscus! (the Link from alttp, oos/ooa and la).

The weirdest thing he's done? That's a very long list of experiences to sort through XD Having an entire adventure be a dream was certainly up there though, as was repeatedly traveling back and forth between the past and the present-day. The current multiple-versions-of-yourself-time-traveling-disaster is probably one of the weirdest though. Meeting his successors is weird.

11. What's (character)'s opinion on their Zelda?

Randomly picked a Link again... Kaleidoscope! (Link from plain-old four swords).

Kal is really close with his Zelda, he's her best friend, and they've known each other since they were little. He respects her a great deal, and knows she's going to be an excellent ruler when she's a little older, but he also worries about her a lot ever since the whole Vaati mess. Once got into a bar fight on her account.

20) What clothes/accessories do they steal from each other?

Surge is shameless and will take anything she would actually want to wear that's not already on him, so mostly spare winter clothes like jackets. (Elias is a little taller than her so this will stop as soon as someone tells her "Oh wow you're a perfect fit for Elias' old baby clothes.")

Meanwhile, Surge left behind one of her rings and Elias is just holding on to it for safe keeping and keeps forgetting to mention it, h-honest!

This is such an unpopular answer on here but Thanksgiving! My family makes everything from scratch (next year we're gonna try doing homemade marshmallows for the first time, that's been our last holdout) which is a really fun tradition. I also do Thanksgiving with my immediate family and like three or four guests max, we simply do not invite people we don't like, so even though we do the traditional meal and watch the parade, it isn't really a stereotypical Thanksgiving.

Tri-ominoes tbh. Last time I played with my family I won handily even though I had to keep score at the same time because they always make me keep score.

🏐 sport

Either soccer or baseball! I miss playing soccer but I need a safe space to play casual games and be bad at first as an adult and that like does not exist in America. I keep meaning to get more into baseball because I love the vibes.

Ah yes, my smol bean!!

My first impression of them

Boyd's first appearance was in 'Happy, Birthday, Doofus Drake' (before his backstory and past with Gyro were revealed), so I honestly didn't think about him too much. I thought he was just a robot kid Beaks designed for trending points. But I do remember being absolutely creeped the hell out when his eyes melted right out of their sockets when he turned evil. I do remember feeling a little sad when it showed him sinking to the bottom of Doofus's pool, because he looked so helpless. But for the most part, I was torn between finding him creepy and indifference.

What’s the first thing you think about when thinking about the character?

The father-son bond between him and Gyro that we hardly got to see much of. How much happier I wanted Gyro to be with him in his life, and how much happier Boyd would be too.

Future headcanon

That he and Gyro only continued to grow closer. I also love the idea of Boyd taking over as Duckburg's resident superhero when Fenton retires, and that he stays a kid all his life instead of having 'older' models made for him (and that's partly because I'm a huge fan of the anime/manga character Astro Boy, who enjoys living his life as any other child but also is a superhero when he's not just being a regular kid).

ooh, it took me a minute to think of what my latest adventure was, but I did go to an air show recently! they had a flying circus, with pilots doing cool trick flying, and even a wing walker! it was rad, and I'm definitely going back next year!

I know lots of songs by heart, and my favorite ones are usually Magnetic Fields songs. like Papa Was a Rodeo, All My Little Words, With Whom to Dance, and The Death of Ferdinand de Saussure. 💜

...that being said, I do also know all of the words to Nobody Likes Me by The Northern Boys, as I will sometimes just listen to that song on repeat for fifteen minutes. xD it goes waaay harder than it has any right to

Wind squinted against the driving rain, wishing desperately that he could wipe his soaking bangs out of his face, but he couldn’t spare a hand, his grip on the ship’s wheel already difficult enough in the near-hurricane they were sailing through.

The ship below him suddenly gave a tremendous heave, and Wind cried out as he felt his hands slip off of the sodden wood, the wheel spinning out of control as he went flying towards the edge of the ship.

He heard someone shout his name, but then his head cracked against something hard, and Wind knew no more.

It was just a mention of me writing the fanfic, nothing more. I'm not sure if I'm going to finish it, but if you're curious, it was inspired by the mystery of Olive Specter from Strangetown and all the sims buried in her garden 👀 The Sims 2 lore is surprisingly rich (and Strangetown in particular is pretty whumpy!)

Ooh, team whump's an interesting one! I haven't really written it and I think it's because I mostly write whumpees who can only rely on themselves to survive. I do enjoy many team whump concepts I see, though, especially those in which the whumpee thinks they're on their own but is proven wrong.
