I just finished watching "A Good Man Goes To War" and, while crying bc I remembered River's life with the Doctor (the backwards meetings) and cackling like crazy after the "The Doctor Returns... IN LET'S KILL HITLER" I can't help but imagine their life afterwards

! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IT'S THE FURTHEST I'VE WATCHED SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FUTURE !

So, with the quartet of Amy & Rory being married, River being their daughter and our Space Boi being (in the future) her husband, I imagine a pretty wholesome family life while they travel in the TARDIS, which is miserable for the Doctor.

Like, Rory saying something that the Doctor finds stupid and corrects/objects/insults him, Rory blurts out "I'M YOUR FATHER IN LAW GODDAMMIT! " Which shocks them both. They look at each other like " ??? Did I/you seriously said that?" broken by River's "You tell 'im Dad".

Or, the Doctor having a minor disagreement over something, when Doctor says something like "Can't believe I married you! What happens in the future that I sank to this level?" and while River is used to it and is ready to spit some venom Amy rushes in and slaps the Doctor "DON'T YOU DARE INSULT MY BABY LIKE THAT!!" and Rory standing in the distance "No man can touch my baby girl. (TM)"

I just think it's hilarious , Amy and Rory acting like super overprotective parents of a child that is way older than them (at the moment), River getting all smirky and Doctor considering of dropping them in the Jurassic Period.

Doing some research for the Tropius trainer thing I mentioned to you a while back, and I'm wondering what kinds of in-universe Tumblr posts might be made in a gameverse Pokemon world if a talking Tropius made the news? I'm not very well versed in Tumblr culture, so I was wondering if you'd have some advice.

Ooh, I love to think about social media in the Pokemon universe, but it's also difficult because I have to balance my interpretation of the Pokemon universe as a kinder, fairer and more just world than ours, against the brain worms that social media gives people.

A few types of people you would probably find posting about the "talking Tropius who is also a Pokemon Trainer" news:

-Person who thinks it's gotta be a hoax

-Person who's thoroughly convinced it's a hoax and is trying to explain how these videos must be doctored in a very self-righteous tone but doesn't actually know what they're talking about. Anyone with functioning knowledge of CGI/video editing/etc knows they're full of it and tries to correct them, but the OP keeps trying to engage them in long-drawn out arguments, and everyone else is watching in amusement as the post slowly devolves.

-Person from some obscure subculture (that everyone else thought left the site long ago) posting the most unhinged takes. I would in this case like to think it's someone who bought in way too hard to Team Plasma and is going off about how humanity and Pokemon Trainer culture have so thoroughly poisoned the world that now even Pokemon themselves have been corrupted and deluded by the Trainer's cruel and barbaric way of thinking. Everyone else tells them to fuck off because they're not taking this shit from someone who's still stanning the terrorist cult that tried to send Unova into a second ice age a few years back.

-Person with anxiety who's now afraid that all Pokemon can secretly talk and that their own Pokemon have the capacity to go around telling all of the embarrassing things that their trainer has said around them.

-Person who claims to have had a talking Pokemon in their family but they didn't get on the news for it so why should this fuckin Tropius--

-Person who really really loves Tropius and is thrilled to finally have an excuse to infodump all about their favorite Pokemon.

-the memes:

"i tried the gym challenge a couple years back and flunked out by the second gym and here's someone who doesn't even have thumbs doing way better than i ever did, not sure that's fair tbh"

"if all pokemon can secretly actually talk, I'm thinking about how my purrloin has been in the room every time I've explained the plot of some bad tv show that I never actually watched, so I really just hope whenever I let him out on his own, he's going around accosting random people by yelling at them about the D*stiel confession in the Paldean dub"

(you don't have to answer if you don't want to) but i was curious how you found out you had adhd? esp since you mentioned being singaporean cause like i also grew up in sg and like barely anybody (gov, school, ect) mentioned adhd stuff growing up and tbh i feel like i only saw it in tv and stuff so im curious? also no yeah adhd is a struggle but i know you can do it you're like the sexiest girlboss blogger i know :DDDD

essentially i had a breakdown when i was 15 and i was skipping school so much (i would go one day and skip the next for instance) for mental health reasons i was also addicted to spn at the time like i mean u know my hyperfixation and well i will say that while i would read spn fanfiction and go through the dash when i skipped school it was also not the reason i skipped school like it was just... id just get dressed for school and then something in me would stop halfway and id go back to be and i was getting so much detention and i was suspended multiple times (IN SCHOOL SUSPENSION IS SO BAD THEY MAKE U SIT OUT IN THE OPEN IN FRONT OF THE GENERAL OFFICE AND STUDY ALL DAY LIKE DAMN COOL I DONT EVEN GET TO LEARN THE TIME I COME TO SCHOOL EXCELLENT SYSTEM GUYS) and yeah i remember running to one of my mom's friends house (it was a 2 minute walk away) to sit nearby and secretly use the wifi bc my mom turned the wifi off at our house thinking it would somehow make me more well behaved and she took my phone away and locked it in her drawer so i learnt to pick locks and one time i hid it and she got mad and screamed and got violent etc she had like a friend install something on my computer so i couldn't use it and i just... found a way to remove it somehow anyway um i did not respond well to my freedom being restricted but the adhd diagnosis thing happened bc one day i broke down in a doctor's office bc i was so sick of lying to get doctors letters (sometimes i wouldn't even take the effort to go and just let them suspend me) and my father had stopped speaking to me and didn't visit me for ages as punishment for my school skipping ways (my parents r divorced) anyway lo and behold i begged for help i thought i was depressed and i got an appointment w a mental health person and i was diagnosed for adhd (which came as a shock to me) (in hindsight it should never have been a shock) and well my school was threatening to expel me but after they found out i had adhd my principal was like huh... what are u and i was like i got this thing called medication im gonna try and take it and i pinky promise i will try and come to school more and well a bunch of my family members got all up in hands and refused to believe i had adhd so they brainwashed my mom who believed i had adhd at first (the doctor told her i had it) to thinking adhd wasn't even real and i had this tutor who took a 5 minute adhd test ANSWERED IT FOR ME WITHOUT CONSULTING ME and claimed to my mom that he had proved i didn't have adhd to this day my mother still does not really acknowledge the fact that i have adhd and when my dad found out i got diagnosed he looked up stuff on adhd and began to claim "my adhd is worse than yours!" and years later brainwashed himself into thinking he got me adhd help (so i reminded him that i broke down in a doctors office and got a diagnosis that he wasn't even there for and he thankfully believed me bc he knows my long term memory is really fucking good)

also they put my sister on adhd meds and years later she confessed to me she didn't even think she needed help for adhd "i think i could have adhd but its nowhere near as bad as yours" and well . well. all i will say is that this is the very long version of "i had Problems in school that snowballed and exploded in my face because no one cared until it was too late"

Wait b4 I get into that, idk how familiar you are with creepypasta (im assuming at least a little bit bc you asked this lol) but just to be safe: Creepypastas are internet horror stories, they're (imo) usually pretty sucky bc they're all written by 12yos, but whatever the fandom never sticks with Canon anyway. There's also the SlenderMansion AU (very popular, you've probably seen fanart of it) where the pastas all live together. Whos there depends in the person i guess? So for me its: Tim/Masky, Brian/Hoodie, Slender, Toby, Ben, Jeff, EJ, Jane, LJ, Smile Dog, Sally, and my parame Simon. Sometimes Jason & Slender's brothers are there, too.

I mostly daydream about Tim/Masky being my dad. and also Brian/Hoodie, being my other dad. They are Married <3

Tim is your typical tired dad, I guess? Him & Brian work for Slender with Toby (who've they also mentally adopted as their son/brother). Brian worries about everyone (he has anxiety) and is generally a mother hen ngl. Since I also mentioned Toby here (+ I want all the proxies together), he's a chaotic lil shithead but knows when to pull it together for serious situations. A more realistic version of the popular fanon, I guess.

If Tim is a Tired Dad then Slender is a Tired Grandpa <3 /j. He's the one that actually runs things & makes sure the pastas don't murder each other, especially Jeff & Jane. Its also hard to tell if he genuinely cares about the pastas or not - an elderitch being with no face is pretty good at hiding its true emotions, shocker ‐ but he does tolerate them living in his house, so. Probably? He secretly wants to be a dad let him have this.

Jeff.....has actually chilled out. Like. A Lot. I'm still toying with the idea of if he murdered his older brother, Liu, yet. Because if he didn't, then Liu would be a detective; but if he did, then Simon (my parame) would be able to see Liu (they're the para i mentioned that can see ghosts) & fix their relationship so Liu can move on. ANYWAY, personality-wise, he's still an ass but now its like. A Funny Asshole. Probably bc he spends to much time with LJ. He's also the primary caretaker of Smile Dog (he's a "family dog", but also Jeff's Dog, u know?).

Jane has also chilled out. In the sense that she isn't trying to murder Jeff on sight anymore. After some talking (and encouragement from Slender), they've decided to call it a truce (?) and more or less ignore each others existence unless necessary. It works surprisingly well.

Sally is. just a lil 8yo baby we love her <3. She's also the only child living at the mansion & kind of likes it that way. She likes being the only Baby so all the attention is on her 💖

EJ is the mansions doctor! He was turned into a Demon before finishing med school, but Slender has plenty of medical books and its EJ's Special Inerest (listen....idc at this point. they all have adhd and/or autism. fight me) so he learned everything pretty quickly, which is good because its. a bunch of murders living together. What do you think happens daily.

I don't daydream about LJ that much idk why I listed him but yeah he's There he Does Things.

I'd talk about Simon but I've gone on long enough, that's like. a whole other post lmao.

Ten/Rose was just ... 👌 Nothing really came close to that, and I love that they had such a special bond. I'm with you on River. I liked her at the beginning, but then they made her storyline way too confusing then it needed to be and I stopped caring 😅 I really liked Amy and Rory though, even if they didn't have the best episodes to shine sometimes. - CC 🦊

I was a bit put off by the whole storyline that amy was more in love with the doctor than with rory but the show redeemed itself in that aspect later on. also i wanna give martha a shoutout cause she’s always forgotten but she was such a fierce companion!

yeah christmas was quieter but i was just happy that i could be with my closest family members. and yes! the christmas lights and decorations are so nice!! idk how it is where you live but here in germany most people don’t go all out with the decorations but here and there you’ll find one house that’s just decked in lights and santas and reindeer and it’s very amusing to see that house light up the entire neighbourhood 😂

damn, that’s a tough question... i already have difficulties thinking of gifts for my loved ones 😅 ok so jc would get a hug, just like a very long and tight and loving hug. he needs that and then maybe also a stress relief ball so he can take out his anger issues on that instead of on the ppl that he actually secretly loves.

lwj would get a gift card for a nice massage. the cold pond isn’t doing it anymore my dude, just relax and let wwx spoil you for once maybe?? jyl and wq should get a one week spa retreat because they deserve to be left in peace!! just for a little while... and wn SHOULD get a puppy but bc wwx is scared of dogs and wn would rather give away the puppy than stop being friends with wwx he gets a kitten (disclaimer: please DO NOT give away animals as presents!!) and also some makeup maybe cause he wants to experiment with it. that’s all i can think of right now 😅 what about your gift ideas for the characters, CC?
