clearly Logan understand gifts as a love language so imagine him making the others care packages when they’re really really upset - they’re always the same outwardly, simple brown paper wrapping with twine and a small, neat bow, but the insides are catered to each Side:
when Thomas messes up in an audition or doesn’t get the role he wanted, and the others realize Roman’s reaction is more than his usual dramatic lamenting - he locks himself in his room, doesn’t come out to complain or wax tragic poetry about the incident, doesn’t even come down for breakfast - he hears a knock at his door. when he opens it, there’s that little brown box at his feet; in it, he finds a small bag of red velvet-covered cherries, a pretty golden pen, pictures of past roles that Thomas loved and excelled in, and a note with a lyric from one of Roman’s favorite musicals printed in neat handwriting, always something encouraging and comforting. Roman reads them and admits that maybe, just maybe, they’ll bounce back, and everything will be okay.
when Virgil has a bad day - a really bad day, full of memories and mistakes and panic and fatigue - he trudges into his room late at night to find a box already sitting prim on his bed. he opens it, hesitant at first, and pulls out a stress ball, trail mix (with almonds and m&m’s, his favorite), a Polaroid of him and the others smiling and laughing together - and there, folded neatly at the bottom of the pile, is a handwritten letter about how much better the ‘Light Side’ is with Virgil’s presence, how grateful they are to know him as their friend and family. and Virgil lets himself relax.
when it’s been a rough week and Patton’s smiles are forced (and barely even there in the first place), when he’s alone in his room and finally lets himself cry, the door breathes open; Logan pokes his head in, silently sets a small box down on Patton’s dresser, and disappears just as Pat looks up and sees the gift. he shuffles over and picks it up, turns it over in his hands before trudging back to his bed and undoing the bow to open it up. he finds a pair of fuzzy socks, a couple chocolate bars, a little water bottle (with a note that says ‘stay hydrated’ with a small star doodled in the corner), a mug with paw prints all over it, and a picture of a puppy with the message “stay pawsitive!” across the top. and despite the tears still in his eyes, Patton hugs the contents close to his heart, and he smiles.
