Hello! I Just wanted to let you know that I LOVED the published ver. of "Don't Shoot the Messenger". And I was so excited to hear that Dale and Sana's story might get published too.

At first I was really unsure about getting the book, as I didn't want to be disappointed if the changes made didn't translate well compared to the original. BUT YOU KNOCKED MY EXPECTATIONS RIGHT OUT OF THE WATER!! IT WAS SO GOOD!!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I'm so excited for your future projects. And I wish you luck on your future publishing endeavours because I will be buying all future published books by you. And no one can stop me haha >:D

I also wanted to ask if there's a chance that any of your other previous works will also be published? Of course it's a huge effort of time and resources to publish something. But I do hold out hope that I might one day hold Heshi's story in my hands because truthfully it's such a comfort to me and I go back to it periodically to reread. I love that snakey boi. NO PRESSURE THO. If that's not in the cards, just the fact that it exists as a story is wonderful. Thank you so much for all the writing you do.

Dale and Sana's story definitely will be self-published,its just a matter of when. it's also probably gonna get more tweaks than DSM due to the length and the way the story evolved over 2 years lol

As for previous short stories that getting published, the answer is yes, i do have plans to publish them as well, they're just a lower priority for multiple reasons. firstly, me and everyone wants NWWD the most so its #1.

For 'Finally Woken' i actually already have the first 2 chapters converted to 3rd POV, however, its shorter than DSM and so would cost nearly as much to have edited but would sell for less (and amazon will try to tell me the spine is too narrow lol) so my current thoughts are to bundle it with 'Selfish' (helpfully already in 3rd person) and make a Naga Novella (called like 'Tangled Up in Tails' or something lol) with both of them in it so i can release it priced similarly to DSM.

For 'Sacrifice', i actually have plans to make that a 5 novella series about different forgotten deities returning to the same town, with 'Sacrifice' likely being offered as a cheaper, first book about a month or so before the second is published to get people into the series. the rest of the novellas would likely not go up on tumblr/AO3 at all and would only be published. i'd like to use this hypothetical series to see how that sort of model would work for me. i've planned out the 5 novellas to some extent but nothings really written yet besides 'Sacrifice'. as a complete project, its very low on my list after everything i'll b posting here and NWWD publishing, so since 'Sacrifice' is tied to that, its not likely to get published anytime soon.

For 'Snapped', i'd likely do something similar to 'Finally Woken' - write another short Sci-Fi/Alien story and bundle them together for publishing. However, i dont currently have anything written that would work so that's also a low priority evn if 'Snapped' is already 3rd POV.

I'm really excited to self-publish my work, but its expensive and what I've made from DSM has come nowhere close to covering my costs and likely won't. the only good thing is basically all the costs are up-front so its easy to jsut keep the books out there and making money when ppl buy it. i have a good job and am happy to spend my money to get my work out there and hope over time self-publishing will break-even, but that will take years at a minimum so it'll be slow going in the beginning.

my goal is to get everything self-published so it'll just be a matter of time - i too want to hold a copy of Heshi's story in my hands lol

Hi... I'm feel very depressed... Why?😟

This month wasn't so lucky. My old hard drive (that contains all of my files including my precious artworks, files, videos, etc.) will soon be dead, then my life is completely silent.😟😔😭

As of now, I don't have the earnings for paying the disk recovery store to save my hard drive & I'm still desperately finding a job in the middle of the pandemic. My apologies for my emotion, I don't think that I would not continue my tech & misc. item topics until I'm completely cured of frown condition.😟

• So here we are, I'm going to do an audio test to hear what audio quality for ZNT's R620 earphone using my PC & my recent mobile smartphone (the Honor 8C) for this final topic. First off, I bring out my trusty Ugreen female to male 2-meter audio cable & see will it compare to the straight-up plug from the ZNT earphone itself.

• My paper dolls ask me will they try it for them? Umm... I don't know, but will see? I guess.

My Keweisi USB Multifunctional Tester review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Sept 14th, 2022]

(1st & 2nd Images) Alright, so for this final part, I’m testing out my Keweisi USB multifunctional tester with three functional devices. My 20000mAh Romoss power bank had dried out the energy juices, so now it’s time to charge up! Well, I would say an “unofficial” charging test, but, this is Keweisi’s USB multifunctional tester we’re talking about. 🙂⚡🔋⏱️

• Okay so, to get this working test, I plug my Huawei USB wall charger before the multifunctional tester. Once the two combined, the tester lit showing the stats in rainbow color fonts. Nice! And then my two remaining tools to plug in. I should plug the USB type A first before hitting the power bank w/ my message USB type C cable. Once all set up, the tester is now timing and other parameters. And according to that, my Huawei USB wall charger is a 2A or 2 Amperes, which is a fast charger (if not certified as Quick Charge 3.0 technology ❌⚡🚅). (Please see 3rd & 4th images ↓).

10. at what point in the process do you come up with titles, and how easy or hard is that for you?

If it's a song, it's easy; I use the title or the lyrics. (Though with my TS Drarry Official Series, I stick to just song titles, which is a rule that I personally sometimes want to break but there are 10 fics now and I don't want to have an odd one out).

If it's not based on a song, it's usually harder. I let the title come to me whenever it does, and sometimes I end up literally just using the first one that comes to mind bc I gotta put SOMETHING into AO3 lol. I recently posted a drabble on Tumblr where the title is literally just. A bunch of ?s. Because I didn't know what to say lol.

42. describe the aesthetic of a story in 5 words.

I'm a Libra and therefore incapable of making decisions so I did a random number generator LOL. It came out with "Oryx & Stag" which is one of my personal favorite ficlets.

The aesthetic in 5 words: wistful, glittering, innocent, cathartic, and hopeful.

Okay for the 3rd wildcard I did *another* random number generator and came up with:

47. what story are you most proud of?

I'm a little torn. I *want* to say my Wireless bc of how long I spent agonizing over it. But ultimately, I gotta go with my love, my Favorite Child, my beloved "this is me trying."

The response to this fic is some of the most meaningful I've gotten. I am completely touched by how this little 12k fic resonated with people, because it's very raw and real for me. SO so so much of it is based on my life and real lived experiences, and it helped me through a time when life was so uncertain and I felt so stuck. I think

hi! this may be a pretty long ask so I'm sorry in advance and pls ignore me if you want lol, but I saw your recent bucky posts and I just agree so much with what you said, and this "the way bucky's story was mistreated is emotionally draining" i feel that on a spiritual level 😓 I've been trying to talk about bucky's story in tfatws with a friend and she has had to stop me in the middle of ranting to ask if I was ok/suggest we change the subject for a bit because it gets me so upset sometimes and i just feel wrung out trying to make sense of it. when I first watched the show, after it ended i felt so so sad and i didn't understand why. i was sitting there like, it's a happy ending mostly, bucky and sam look happy, so why do i feel heartbroken?? and i really think it's bucky's entire story, and the big gaping hole that is steve and how they try to handle that by not handling it at all and just having people tell bucky to move on or that steve doesn't matter, when it doesn't make sense. even if you only see friendship between them, they were the most important people in each other's lives and steve's part in bucky's life informed who bucky is as a character, as a person. having them just try to basically sweep that under a rug and tell bucky to just move on feels so wrong to me. also, I kind of feel like it's almost framed as a breakup? which is funny bc marvel was so desperate to downplay stucky lol. idk. sorry that's off topic with your posts and I'm just ranting in your ask box now ugh. i just hadn't really seen anyone else on tumblr talking about the problems with bucky's story until i followed you so it's really nice to see other people have some of the same thought processes/feelings about it. so i just wanted to say that I love seeing your perspective, and your metas are amazing and so interesting, I spent all day thinking about the (bio)mechanics of bucky's arm after your arm meta! anyways, I hope you have a good day/night and I'm sorry for the rambling, like I said feel free to ignore this or only respond to the parts you want lol I understand not wanting to go to deep into tfatws stuff and drain yourself 💞

I have many things I’m unhappy about with Bucky’s depiction in TFATWS, but you’re absolutely right that one of the major gaping holes is the avoidance of mentioning Steve. The series and the MCU is afraid to talk about the particulars of Steve’s absence, because:

a) they will have to acknowledge that what EG!Steve did was actually really shitty because not only did he leave Bucky completely stranded out of time (when he himself spent like 4 movies bemoaning this very sense of alienation), he dumped his burden on Sam without discussing with him, and he also left the Avengers completely leaderless. He is the only unifying force left in the Avengers, yet he just high key bails on all his friends to dance with a girl who he knew would have moved on.

b) they will also have to acknowledge that Bucky and Sam are entitled to feel upset and maybe even annoyed at his decision. I know we get told that Steve and Bucky ��already had that talk off screen” but just because Bucky didn’t blast Steve on screen doesn’t mean he’s happy with Steve’s decision. We also never see Sam deal with the aftermath of what Steve chose to do. Sure, the story covers his hesitancy about being "Captain America", but it avoids addressing how Steve's selfish decision, which had massive personal ramifications for Sam, affected what Sam feels about Steve.

c) they will also have to address how his decision was completely OOC, because even if you take Bucky out of the equation, Steve has moved on. He’s had time to move on, he has a found family now, and he has a mission and Steve never walks away from a mission. Other people have written amazing metas on why EG!Steve is not Steve, so I won't rehash it here.

I’m not surprised that MCU put its head between its legs and refused to even touch on that subject because to actually lay it out in the open will not only ruin the image of their golden boy for non-Steve fans (most Steve fans already hate EG!Steve), but it will also have to address the hot pile of crap that EG created.

In a way, because of the way they’ve bungled EG!Steve, I’m actually kind of vindictively glad that Sam told Bucky to stop letting Steve dictate what he believes in. EG!Steve is not worth Bucky’s (or Sam’s) grief or respect. EG!Steve is certainly not the same Steve who broke through 70 years of mental conditioning on 3 separate occasions (okay fine the 3rd time was the helicopter breaking Bucky out but the biceps flex definitely helped).

But had Steve disappeared from their lives in any other manner, both Sam and Bucky deserved to have screen time dedicated to their grief, and not just them trying to manage the traumas of side characters. Steve was everything Bucky had to anchor him to the identity that isn’t the Winter Soldier. Sam gave up everything, including his livelihood and home and family, to support Steve. Legit I’m more upset about how Sam has been left out of this emotional journey than Bucky but I digress.

So yeah, I think my beef(s) with the series isn't that it didn't address the grief, because I think if I had to watch Bucky (or Sam) really mourn Steve's loss I would have HATED EG!Steve just that much more; but the way they've simplified both Bucky's and Sam's complex past experiences into something so...conveniently fixable.
