“Black and White Contrast” a rivetra theory

Hi Rivetra fans, actually this is my first post on tumblr and I hope you will like it. Just to say a few words before beginning my rivetra theory, I ship Rivetra sooo hard but I like and respect other ships. Please if you get to see this post and like or share my opinion, an answer would be so cool!

PS. Sorry for my English, I’m not a fluent speaker, but I try my best :) enjoy!

First, basically I called this post ‘Black and White contrast’ because I found out that the relationship between Levi and Petra is like this, a contrast, in many fields.

To show this I will use photos of manga panels, of the anime and Petra’s song, the light of two wings.

Let’s begin with the song. The first opposition we can see is in Levi personality; Petra describes Levi like that “Your sterness always stems from gentleness And I felt a warm light behind those harsh words“, basically she sees his true nature, behind the darkness, there is a light, that’s what she says.

Now the other contrast is between the painful and the happy moments she went through: “ I recall plentry of painful things.. But I made it to where I am , Free of doubts.. Sharing smiles and laughter along the way “

Now she says: “ Tiny feathers gather one by one Forming a white wing Fragile lives are lost one by one Leaving behind a black wing “

That’s when we get to read something with ‘black’ and ‘white’, here she talks about two wings, a black and a white. The white being composed of feathers (analogy with soldiers lives lost one by one), and apparently she talks about a black wing left behind... we’ll get to see more info about it further on. But it seems to be ralted with death, isn’t it?

“ Though a bird may be born to soar across the skies I’m sure it won’t be able to fly well with only one wing But you will shoulder the determination of all that is white and black And guide everyone to great distances beyond the walls “

She says that a bird can’t fly without two wings, so the black and the white ones. And he will ‘shoulder the determination of all that is white and black’, in other words the determination to fight of the deads and the living is something he has to carry on. She is talking to Levi, and says that he is the one to guide everyone beyond the walls,

Then, she finally says before dying:

“Don’t forget that you have the light of dual wings sprouting from your back And if I were to give a name to the light I felt…yes.. it would be… Hope..“

So once again that the light of dual wings (black and white) shows that he carry the spirit of the deads and the living, I repeat this on purpose because you will see that the symbolism of the contrast has not been chosen by chance, but on purpose.

The second other point is that she perceives that light as hope, obviously we understand why, Levi is considered as the humanity’s greatest, so he’s the most expected to save the Eldian people.

Now.. let’s show the black and white contrast elsewhere.

Do a black and a white wings ring a bell?

Yup... exactly. And I’ll prove that they can symbolise Levi and Petra relationship. They can also show many other relationships in the SC but here, and with the song, it takes a different dimension, like thir relationship was like a black and white wing = black -> death, sadness... and white -> light, hope, or life

Petra is dead and Levi is alive,

Petra sees light inside Levi, whereas he grew up on a dark place (underground) and frequented bad people everyday (criminels etc...)

Now let’s focus on the anime...

What do you notice in this passage? This was when they were going to the former Survey Corps HQ with Eren.

Petra’s horse is WHITE and Levi’s is BLACK, here Levi’s one does not seems so black but you can check on other photos in the Internet and you’ll see that he’s actually black, but now because of light and shadow it’s a bit light but whatever.

So, you probably notice that nearly every horse is colored in brown but not Levi’s, Petra’s and Erwin’s. Some other horses are colored in light brown but it’s not like them three, the colors are strikely different. And in the manga the horses were all brown basically, so why this change of color? Not for nothing obviously, the great messages remain in little details..

This photos shows that the horse are basically all brown.

Another contrast is Levi and Petra’s physical appearance, they are obviously different. He is black-haired, she is blond (ginger in the anime but the contrast stays with light color and dark color..) even their eyes in the anime are different but that’s not the essence of the theory, that was just a remark.

Now look at the Petra’s and Levi’s scene when she died and he looked down at her:

Isayama pictured the contrast in dark and light, notice how Levi appears in the light part of the grass and Petra in the dark one, she is dead and he’is alive. And bigger than that, there is also Levi’s Wings of Freedom emblem on his cloack, a double contrast where the white one is in the right and the black one on the left. Petra is on the ground, Levi in the air. They complete each other every time.

The contrast is even more striking in this panel:

The position of the panels for comparison, the position of the heads and eyes, Levi looking down and Petra looking up. The contrast in their hair is also emphcised here. Don’t you notice something else? If no, look at the Wings of Freedom emblem I put...

Yes... Levi is at the left (black wing) and Petra is at the right (black wing)... the analogy is here for those who searched for it.

And once again, their life status, one alive but painfully sad and the other dead but with an unfulfilled dream and she didn’t get the chance to confess to Levi, I quote:

“ And so.. I will die.. believing that.. Oh….how i wish this would last… But…it seems like my time is up… I have…one last thing…..I would like to tell you.. No… Nevermind…It’s Nothing…. “ (Petra’s song)

Let’s continue.

Remember, we said that Petra tought Levi was the hope of humanity’s survival (she says it in her song). Now, did you know that Levi thought exactly the same of her? I will show it to you, and that was basically implied on Petra’s last scene.

We all know how Petra put trust over all other things, work team was very important to her. The sentence that we remember the most of her is “trust us”, in her last scene -- when she and her team were riding horses and the Female Titan was hunting them -- she said that exact sentence to Eren.

PS: It is written in French, but you can check it in English on your own if you want.

And everybody knows that Levi didn’t know if it was the good choice whether to put his trust on his comrades or to just rely on his own strengh. Well, on that day, Levi had a strong proof that he should believe in his comrades.

Here: Petra: “Captain?!”,

Levi: “He’s a real monster, I know that very well, not only because he has Titan abilities... no matter how strong he force with which it is immobilized, no matter how resistant is the cage in whic he is held. Nobody will ever be able to bend his will”

-> So what does Levi say? He considers that Eren will to fight titans can’t be bend, in other words he is like a monster, ready to do anything to kill his enemies. But basically, Levi’s stance is that NOBODY can’t change his mind. He was sure of that.

And guess what happens? Eren hearing that from Levi wanted to prove that he was not a monster, he had enough.

Eren “ I had enough. I don’t want to be treated like a monster...”

And the phrase that Petra told him definitely convinced him to do the choice to trust his new squad.

Now look at Levi’s face... he’s startled by Eren’s decision. Yes, he who was so sure that Eren will transform, Petra’s insistence to trust his team proved Levi wrong. That’s why he was so surprised. That scene and Levi’s expression is even on the anime, if you want to check it out.

Well, nobody before succeeded to do this: make Eren change his mind, he’s usually the one to ignore Mikasa’s advices even if he cares a lot for her. Petra, even if she was not so close to him, actually succeeded this task. This startled Levi. Who could change a monster’s mind? Yes, the one to carry hope for humanity. Actually in the anime, EVERY soldier carries that hope obviously, but in that precise moment, Petra was the hope Levi wanted for humanity.

This reminds us of the song, when she says that she though Levi’s light was hope, actually she was also hope, like every one of her comrades. Now, Petra had that same light, hope.

Oh and remember that panel from Chapter 112:

Yes. “Hope for Humanity’s survival” and beside what character? Petra. Everything is linked lmao, Isayama is a pure genius.

And now that I read this panel alone, it’s like Petra could have said these lines ‘I did it... because I believed he was the hope for humanity’s survival...” in other words, I sacrificed my life for Levi because I thought he was the hope for humanity’s survival. It could fit VERY WELL, I don’t think this is a coincidence because she said the exact same thing in her song...

PS: The Wings of Freedom can represent many pairs in AOT like Erwin and Levi for example, but Petra and Levi formed the wings of freedom too. That’s not a coincidence if Erwin’s horse was also white like Petra’s one, and we know that Erwin convinced Levi to joined the SC the day Ferlan and Isabel died. That day, Levi developed the Ackerbond with Erwin when the latter stated, with his federator charisma, that we can’t get to know the future etc. So Levi had the Ackerbond with Erwin so that’s quite obvious to justify why they can represent the wings of freedom, but what was Petra for Levi apart of a squad member?

Yes, she was special for him whereas he didn’t have the Ackerbond with her, and that’s why she’s even more significant, his blood didn’t play a role in his relationship with her. The only answer I find is, simply, love.

Since you're adopting most of the kids, now I can just invision those TAS characters who wants a family with the MC (Takemaru, Gullinbursti, Temujin, Ophion and etc because I can't remember-) just going straight to heaven from seeing you cooing over the kids like a mother does and they tryna slide into the co-parenting too with you 👀 👀 Would you accept though if they actually asked to take care of the kids with you ?

dfghjkhgfg okay so I MAY have read this one wrong but it was too good of an idea not to roll with lmao. Ended up leaving Ophion out as I ran out of steam but I do hope these turned out okay (also for the record I would absolutely co-parent with Tak and Gull in a heartbeat because who wouldn’t dfghds)

Takemaru

If you could adopt these kids, you’d do it in a heartbeat. You’re not sure what made you come to this conclusion - maybe it’s because seeing the lack of parental figures in their life made you want to take them under your wing, or maybe you just wanted them to be given the same amount of love and support and have someone in their corner who’s willing to support and help them. Whatever the reason, it’s made you a parent magnet, and you’ve become a person who many kids look up to (outside of battle of course - you are not letting them be as reckless as you are), which in turn has just made you more protective of them. Even if it’s just little things, like carrying around snacks for them if they look hungry, helping them with schoolwork, giving them advice when they come to you for help with issues that they’re having - whatever it is, you’re always willing to pitch in to help make their lives just a little bit easier to navigate through.

You’re so used to taking on a parental role you don’t think twice about helping Robinson button up his coat while you’re outside - with the weather taking a turn the last thing you’d do is let him go out without at least keeping warm. You admit that you end up fussing a bit over making sure Robinson’s bundled up, as you just wanted to make sure that he wasn’t going to catch a cold, so you’d paused to make sure he had it buttoned all the way up and had the zip fastened. You didn’t think much about giving him your scarf and gloves either, as Robinson at least seems grateful for the additional warmth when you offer it to him. You’re just finishing up wrapping the scarf around the boy’s shoulders and making sure that he’s doing okay when Takemaru spots what you’re doing.

The oni can’t help but admire how you fit into the role of the loving parent so well, watching you talk with the kid as you loop the two ends of the scarf together and make sure that he’s nice and snug. You smile softly watching Robinson tug up the garment a little higher to protect his cheeks from the cold with a happy expression of his own.

It’s no secret that the thought of starting a family with you has crossed his mind before, and he’s even let it slip around you once or twice, but just seeing how you’ve practically adopted these children and shown them your love and support makes those thoughts come back full force.

What really does him in is the way your expression lights up when you finally notice him, waving him over to come and join the two of you as you straighten up and ruffle Robinson’s hair. You’ve introduced Tak to the kid before, and it’s clear that he’s attached to you with how close he sticks to your side whenever he sees the two of you together - he’s definitely got the protective son vibe down pat. But upon seeing how you beam at the oni as he strides over, Robinson eases up a bit upon seeing how eagerly you greet him, and soon enough the three of you are moving on to enjoy the festivities together.

A lot of the festive stores are still open, with colorful lights bathing the stalls and crowds in a warm, multi-colored glow as everyone moves around. Robinson seems to be enjoying watching everyone pass as the three of you walk around, though Takemaru notices that he keeps trying to get a peek at all of the open stores as they pass, only to keep getting blocked by one person or another ruining his view. It’s around the third time he notices this that Tak leans down and asks the kid if he wants a boost to be the lookout for cool looking stalls; Robinson seems to hesitate for a moment, squeezing your hand as he mulls it over, then Robinson nods, proudly declaring that Tak can leave it to him as the taller man stoops down to help the boy climb up onto his shoulders.

You can’t help but feel a warmth in your chest as the sight of Tak carrying Robinson around on his shoulders, the younger of the two working diligently to look for places to head to next as he tells Takemaru what he sees - but alongside that you can see the wonder and awe in his expression that’s more fitting for his age. Robinson really hasn’t had much of a chance to just be a kid, and your heart swells watching him perched atop Tak’s shoulders. They almost looks like father and son - that thought makes you giggle, but you keep it to yourself for now, instead returning your focus back to the two as Robinson points out something further into the main venue, patting Tak’s head to get the transient’s attention and urging him to move over to where he’s pointing. Not wanting you to get left behind, Tak reaches out for your hand and you slip your hand into his without hesitation, squeezing it tight as you follow along with Robinson’s directions, joking that you want a turn as lookout next and watching Tak’s expression turn a lovely shade of pink when you muse that he could carry the both of you with ease thanks to how strong he is.

Gullinbursti

With how many younger members your guild’s managed to pick up over the course of its founding, it makes sense that as guildmaster you’d take it as your responsibility to keep an eye on them and make sure they’re safe. Or at least, that’s what you tell others when they point out that you’re acting more like a doting parent than a guildmaster - a fact that you’re quickly realizing is true even if you don’t admit it outloud. It doesn’t help that they all look up to you so much either, often tagging along with you whenever you’re going out on guild errands or need help with something. You’re always eager to step in and help them in return - you want to make sure that they’re all safe and having as much fun as they can whenever they’re around, whether that’s helping them with their schoolwork or giving them advice. You wonder if this is how Mr. Mononobe feels about the students - it’s always been a running joke that he’s team dad of the school, taking everyone under his wing and guiding them - but you’ve caught people calling you the team parent of the summoners and it’s always given you pause. It appears you’re not the only one who’s taken notice of you acting parental to some of your younger peers.

You’re helping the kids with some schoolwork, with Kijimuna perched on your lap and R-19 and Agyo flanking on either side, watching diligently as you point out some of the questions Kiji’s struggling on and help him work through it. Usually it would be a handful to get them to concentrate - Kijimuna loves to play and have fun, and more often than not manages to rope the other two into playing with him; however, you’ve managed to get them settled down, and they all look surprisingly focused as they listen to you talk. It’s going a lot better than you thought it would, and in the middle of studying Gull wanders into the room and looks at the scene he’s greeted with. He gives you a curious look but when you wave him to come over he follows the direction without question, taking a seat close to Agyo and watching you continue with the lesson just as intently as the kids are - it’s honestly kind of cute.

Kijimuna and Agyo both end up drifting off mid-way through the studying session, with Kiji having twisted around while you talked to sleep with his face buried into your shoulder, and with Agyo having nodded off against Gull’s side cuddling into his pelt. They look so comfortable you don’t have the heart to wake them, cradling the child close to your chest as you look over at Gull and watch him use an arm to steady Agyo. When Gullinbursti looks up at you he regards you with a perplexed expression, watching you run a hand through Kijimuna’s hair as you close up the books and clear up the mess of pens and pencils, sorting them into a neat pile with a chuckle of how easily these kiddos wear themselves out. You catch him looking at you and quirk a brow, asking him what’s up, and notes out loud that you look so happy whenever you’re taking care of them - much like a parent.

Hearing Gull’s words you get a little bashful but still find yourself smiling fondly as your gaze flickers down to Kijimuna as he mumbles something in his sleep; patting his head you find yourself agreeing with him. Of course you’re happy - you love being there to support them and seeing them grow; it makes you feel proud being around to see them learn about the world around them, it’s almost like they’re your kids. Guess that really does make you feel like a parent, huh?

At your response Gull takes a moment to think, giving you an intense look right before he opens his mouth to respond:

“Master, would more children make you even happier? If so, I would be happy to provide as many as you’d like.”

You flush at the words, and go to quickly correct him that you don’t think that making children is quite the same thing as helping the younger guilds with homework, but mid-sentence R-19 - who’s apparently been awake throughout this whole exchange - chimes in. When he mentions that you have yet to show any signs of pregnancy, and doesn’t understand why Gull made such a comment you just about keel over where you sit. It seems as though your floundering ended up waking Kijimuna up too, as he goes from rubbing his eyes to letting out a loud gasp at the word pregnancy, and now you’ve got an excitable tree spirit on your hands, bouncing around and asking you if there’s really a baby coming to the guild. Right as things can’t get any worse a shrill scream of “A BABY?!” from a now very much awake Agyo has you burying your face into your hands with a groan, already dreading the conversation you’re going to have to have with them before Shiro catches wind of the situation.

Temujin

Ikutoshi sometimes kicks up a fuss about you acting like you’re his parent, but he at least respects that you don’t push the idea - you don’t baby them or look down on them which Ikutoshi respects and Kagatsuchi loves, so it comes as a surprise to very few that you end up practically adopting the pair as time goes on. On more than one occasion you’ve ended up taking on the mentor role with the two of them, helping them out with their training whenever they come up to you to spar - they’re both always eager to test their mettle against you, and you’re eager to teach them what you know. If you can’t stop them from getting into fights, the least you can do is make sure that they go into them prepared.

This is exactly how Temujin comes across you. Temujin usually takes his training sessions outside of the main city, removing the distractions of the bustling world to immerse himself in honing his already impressive skills. And it is here that the two of you end up crossing paths, with you having just finished a sparring session with Ikutoshi and Kagutsuchi that had taken place outside of the dojo. Ikutoshi's sat across from you, sat on a log and working on lacing up his boots as you help Kagutsuchi into his - you don’t really need to help him, but the small acts like that are well worth the smiles and words of thanks that you get from the kid in return. You hear Temujin approach before you see him, tilting your head back as you greet the archer, and noting your surprise at running into him in this area.

You’re expecting him to make some kind of comment - some not-so innocent slip of the tongue like you’re used to so you have a prime reason to leave. What comes out instead is an invitation to join the three of you - it appears as though you’re preparing to make your way back into the city, so he would like to accompany you until then, if only for a little while. His request gives you pause and you purse your lips, mulling the request over; there’s a few beats of silence before you shrug - eh, why not? So long as he doesn’t pull anything you’ll handle his company for a little while. You tilt your head, gesturing for him to take a seat by you as you finish up with Kagusuchi’s boots, and he settles down, folding his arms and watching you as you move.

You may not notice it, but you’re more doting on the children than you think, pausing mid lace-up to fish some snacks you’d prepared out of your bag and handing them to the boys. The expression on your face when you regard them is soft, and it doesn’t take a genius to note that the way you’re treating them is less like an older sibling and more like a protective parent. Kagutsuchi is equally attached to you, and while Ikutoshi seems annoyed on the outset, it isn’t hard to see that he doesn’t entirely hate the way that you treat the two of them. It’s as though watching a parent and child, bringing them out to spar and guiding them as you do so - the thought is amusing to Temujin, and he finds himself entertaining that line of thinking as he continues to watch you. Once you finish tying up both of Kagutsuchi’s shoes the boy jumps to his feet, giving you a beaming smile as he thanks you and you chuckle, ruffling his hair and letting him run over to Ikutoshi as you stand to your feet and spin around to face the wolf. Following your lead, Temujin also rises to stand and he comments on how doting you seem to be with the young boys, a comment that has you raising your brows as you ask him what he means.

As expected, the next words out of Temujin’s mouth have to do with children, specifically his children and how your affinity towards childcare is yet another reason why you’re such a desirable candidate to bear his children. You give him an aghast look, sincerely hoping that the kids at least didn’t hear him say that or you’d kick his ass here and now; but you don’t need to even respond. No sooner do the words leave his mouth, a boot comes sailing over your shoulder and just barely misses nailing the wolf in the side of his head. You turn around to find Ikutoshi still sitting on the same log, mid-way through tying one his boots with the other missing as he bluntly comments that the shoe was too loose and that he might need some help, all the while giving Temujin a pointed stare as he says this.

You’re quick to step in and help him, scooping up the stray boot and jogging over to the boy, kneeling down to help him lace them both back up. Perhaps you’re just happy that Ikutoshi’s letting you help him, or you’re focused on getting the laces tight enough for the boots not to slip off, but you fail to notice the glare Temujin and Ikutoshi share over your shoulder, an unspoken dare for the wolf to just try and pull something like that again - if he wants to get to you, he’s got some protective sons to get through first.

Fate/hollow ataraxia Part 2 - Food is Bliss (Phase 2)

What?! So, Bazett dying is something normal? She dies, he takes her home and she starts breathing again eventually?? Or does it just restart back in this house after they both die? Wow, they can practically never die since they’ll always revive back at the house, unfairrr! Anyway, Avenger huh? I guess he’s Angra Mainyu? Since he sounds like just a culmination of all the hatred and violence, whilst also being someone that’s weak enough that he can’t physically fight and win against other Servants? I guess it’s good that Bazett is his Master then since she’s so great at hand to hand combat~ Did Bazett actually summon two Servants? And the other one was Lancer and that’s why he’s able to stay in this world even though Kotomine is gone? Actually maybe she just made a contract with Lancer? I’m not sure how I feel about Bazett as a character, in a way she’s interesting in that she fights to protect the “correct” way of life, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel like she really cares since she seems to just feel like she needs to do this rather than this is what she wants to do? On the other hand, Avenger definitely has more thoughts and feelings towards things than he lets out with his superficial personality that he shows to kinda hide what’s inside.

Anyway, is that ghost house Shirou went to the place where Bazett and Avenger revive? Omgg hahaha, I love how when Sakura and Shirou had to cook dinner for heaps of people on the weekend, they started early on the brainstorming as to what they should cook, and when they were doing it, Shirou would refer to her as Chef Matou and Sakura would call him Chief Emiya hahahaa, they’re so cute! I think it’s one of the few times you actually get to see Sakura get full on cooking guidance from Shirou rather than the usual where they kinda just help each other out cooking their own thing. I wish we got to see the reactions of everyone eating the persimmon dinner! It would have been fun! I wanted to see the fruits of their efforts~ Oh well. It’s kinda saddening to think but it’s true that above all else, Rider is a monster that can and will eat humans if it comes to it, I mean, in the Fate route etc, it was apparent that she was unnerved over killing and devouring humans after all. As she said, she’s never been a noble spirit like Saber. LOL at Shirou wondering how it could be possible that young Gilgamesh is a nice little boy hahahah. I love their after dinner antics, lmao at Taiga losing her after dinner snacks to Saber through blackjack, she really gambles everything away haha. It was cute how Shirou scolded them🤣

Lmaoo, trust Illya to tease Saber for having a stuffed lion toy and then forcing Shirou to go buy her one too lol. HAHAHA, I love how Shirou teased Mitsuzuri’s little brother (Minori) about liking Sakura and tried to dig why he likes her🤣 Gotta love how much of a spoiled brat Taiga is to knee drop Shirou to play with her when he’s trying to sleep lmao. Honestly though, with the relationship Shirou and Taiga have, I can’t deny that I kinda wanted a Taiga route in FSN haha. Omg, I nearly died laughing at Shinji sulking at the harbour port for appearing only 3 times in the game when Sakura’s appeared so many times hahahahah. It feels like Shirou is the most smitten with Saber after all~ It was so cute when she discussed with him why bras and underwear had to have so many designs lmao. LOL, so it was Rin the troublemaker that told Saber to consult Shirou about it just because she thought it would be funny hahahahha. It was pretty hilarious when she insisted on Shirou accompanying her to the lingerie shop and Shirou ran away, but the icing on the cake was when Sakura and Rider overheard their conversation and Sakura wished her good luck on this quest lmaoo. Btw, I love how Shirou experiments making different snacks and he gets Saber the glutton to try them hahaha, so cute. Omgg Saber’s face enjoying Shirou’s baked sweet potatoes was so precious, she looked so happy🥺🥰 Lmao at Lancer picking up Makidera and them, and even saying his speciality is the javelin throw, I guess he’s not exactly wrong or lying hahahaha. Lancer being a part time florist is definitely a win win situation for him, he gets to pick up girls and earn some money haha!

I quite enjoyed Mitsuzuri’s meeting with Lancer, they got along pretty well due to their interest in martial arts etc, Mitsuzuri was so cuteee! I love how Shirou ended up bringing the party of Saber, Sakura and Rider to help clean Rin’s house hahaha, it’s true that with all her antiques and carpets etc it can be rather difficult by himself, not to mention how large the place is too! HAHAHA when Saber changed into her armour to clean Rin’s house. Lmaooo at Saber thinking all the gym equipment in the basement was what Rin tried to use as a catalyst to summon her but failed, it was so adorable when she started playing around with them all instead of cleaning hahahah, didn’t think Saber would be a bludger!🤣 It was really sweet to see Sakura’s reactions to things around the house, it was so adorable how she talked about Rin giving her the precious handmade ribbon (that’s on her hair) as a parting gift and saying Sakura has to repay it with a compounding interest rate lmao. It’s cute how she wanted Sakura to always feel connected to her through this “debt ”. Awww how cute of Saber to play with the lion plushie and even sleep with it at night!! She’s so cute!! Shirou totally deserved Saber’s wrath for teasing her about it so ruthlessly hahahah. Sakura is so mischievous! She literally just wrote down everything Shirou said in the letter to Rin hahaha, I love Sakura in this, she’s so cute but cunning at the same time hahaha. Omggg how embarrassing for Sakura that Shirou caught her hugging his jacket so lovingly hahahah! So cute though when she got all flustered. It was really thoughtful of her to notice that his button fell off and sewed it back for him.

Aww Rider going to school just to give Sakura and Shirou their lunches (that Sakura forgot) was cute, I also really enjoyed how Shirou ended up buying her food for them to enjoy together on the rooftop, it was really sweet of him. I don’t know, but Saber welcoming Shirou home and thanking him for his hard work at his job was so heartwarming, it really made me think she was such a great girl. I can’t believe this but my love for Rin is going to be at the same level as Saber if this goes on hahaha, Rin come back soon pls. I found it hilarious that Rider is so dissatisfied with bike number two that is mainly used for casual shopping, and really wants to use bike number one which is a racing bike, but Shirou is scared that she’ll be zooming around the neighbourhood like a rocket and refuses, which is very logical!! Lmao, just imagining Rider at her superhuman speed riding on that bike is killing me hahaha. Omg hahahah, that silly drawing of him imagining Rider being chased by the police on the bike and her escaping happily was so funny and cute LOL. Hahahaha, I loved how Rider tried to use her seductive skills to make Shirou bend to her will so she can use the bike, but then Sakura appears overhearing them, so she immediately runs away and leaves Shirou to deal with the misunderstanding hahahah. Honestly though, seeing Saber and Sakura co-operate happily making pie and enjoying the fruits of their efforts was so cute. They used to be rather awkward even though they got along relatively okay, so it’s pretty nice and refreshing to see that if they had the time to bond more, they could actually be so friendly.

I think I’m starting to see how and why some people might like Fate/hollow ataraxia more than the original game, because wow, seeing Sakura grow so much and become the captain of the archery club was so cool. I absolutely loved how resolute and strong she was, and I loved how she scolded Taiga for being a nuisance hahaha. It was so funny yet so cool to see that. And it’s not something sudden too, because Mitsuzuri stayed, supported and guided her into establishing more self confidence in herself into being a worthy captain so I’m glad it all worked out. Although it’s obvious Sakura would be a great captain seeing how she carries herself at the Emiya household haha. I also absolutely loved how she fed Shirou the obanyaki when they went shopping after, and it was honestly so beautiful and heartwarming to see how truly happy Sakura was. Not only is she now able to have a proper life where she’s spending time with people in the club and making friends with others whilst actually playing around doing other activities, she is also able to truly live for herself and not live in fear of anything in the Matou household. It’s so wonderful to see how nothing is holding her back anymore, and honestly this is the best ending for Sakura, or I guess, it’s more like a new beginning for her! I’m so glad they showed all this. Sakura used to think she didn’t have the right to play around and stuff, so seeing her enjoy all that made me feel really satisfied haha.

Confused Caster walking around the shopping district wondering what she should buy to make for dinner was cute haha. HAHAHA, I love how Caster and Sakura became friends because Lancer was trying to pick up Sakura and Caster hates his flippy attitude so she taught him a lesson lol. It was even more hilarious when Sakura subtly kept badmouthing Rin for using Shirou like a servant and Shirou not minding it hahaha, I think it was pretty funny how Shirou didn’t even realise or he ignored the fact that Sakura was talking about him and Rin haha. Omgg snake wine with a snake in it?! Reminds me of the crazy Chinese concoctions hahaha. Anyway, I really loved how persistent but considerate Shirou was into finding out what Rider likes to eat and what she doesn’t eat. I think it was really cool that rather than giving up after she said she doesn’t particularly mind whatever he and Sakura cooks, he instead asked her to come to the kitchen and get her to choose what she would prefer to eat from the ingredients they have. I really love how thoughtful Shirou is in changing his approach several times in order to get Rider to enjoy her food rather than just feel apathetic about it all. Lmao at Saber getting jealous that she doesn’t get to choose even though Shirou asks her what she wants to eat all the time hahaha. LMAO at Saber’s reaction to octopus and not realising she’s been gobbling it up all this time when she ate takoyaki hahahah. I love how through their “fight” about the weird things they eat, Shirou gets to understand a bit more about what Rider actually prefers to eat. Rin is hilarious for making Saber wear the fancy clothes Caster sent to them hahahah, it was so cute how traumatised Saber was hahaha. Shirou imagining Issei in a frilly dress was LOL, that cursed image hahaha. Hahahaha, I love how Saber didn’t give up on eating high class food when Shirou told her they were poor, and instead said that they should raise/make the ingredients themselves so that they could cook it in the future. It was so cute when she started talking about raising ducks and pigs hahhaha. Issei being fond of sweets is cute haha.

I don’t know why but I never thought about Kiritsugu’s grave at all lol! I never thought it would be in the forest at the Ryuudou Temple graveyard though! I wonder if Illya and Saber would ever go visit…but then again, Shirou doesn’t even go so I think it’ll be harder for them. Wow, I didn’t think I needed it, but hearing Kuzuki call Caster his wife and leave her in Shirou’s hands (to learn cooking lmao) was so..amusing LOL. On the other hand, Reikan (Issei’s brother) is a pretty cool guy! He’s chill, full of confidence but also a strict serious guy, I can see why Issei would admire him. He gets along nicely with Taiga since they were classmates so it’s pretty cute. I…feel so sorry for Shirou that he was caught between Otoko/Neko (his part time job boss) and Taiga, they’re monsters… Hmmm, the actual story part is quite short as usual. It was expected that the white hair girl was the one who restarted the holy grail war, but why does she become possessed and have claws come out of her? Poor Shirou dieddd! Is she hiding a monster inside that comes out when it meets Shirou at the wrong time? Hahaha. Anyway, I’m curious about her so I hope we’ll get more story stuff in phase 3.
