[ID: Digital drawing of Hollyleaf and Leafpool from Warriors. The drawing is the scene where Hollyleaf demands that Leafpool eat deathberries. In the center of the image sit the deathberries which illuminate the background and the cats in a bright red light. Hollyleaf is yelling at Leafpool, motioning to the berries with her claws. Hollyleaf's head is turned downwards with her wide eyes Leafpool looks on with a tired, almost apathetic gaze. She sits neatly. End ID]
Hollyleaf you're being goofy but not in a silly way :/

Ahhhh designs based off of this post. TLDR your typical HawkLeaf Three AU.
Design Notes under the cut
-Leafpool is a beanpole to me, tall and lithe. You poke her and she crumbles to dust. I also saw a design of her with three white paws on here that was captioned “Squirrelflight took one of her socks” and that’s adorable so I’m stealing it. Sad Girl i love her
-Hawkfrost was supposed to look like a cold brown but he just looks gray. Oops. Ah well. Tried to give him like mid twenties bad boy energy idk if it’s coming through. Love his stupid goatee. Here I imagine he has more depth and maybe was actually friends with Leafpaw before the daddy issues kicked in, idk.
-Lionblaze is huge and got his dad’s bulk, white marks, and stripes... and hair I guess. He’s kinda just the same because I always imagined he got everything from Leafpool in canon, just threw more Hawk in there.
-Hollyleaf probably shouldn’t be a black cat, idk cat genetics and tbh I don’t really care about that lol. But also.... I love black cats so I wanna keep her the same. My excuse is that she looks like great grandma Leopardfoot. Also she probably throws them all for a loop while trying to find their bio parents.
-Jayfeather obviously changed the most lol. I always thought Sasha was a siamese cat, but apparently she isn’t. I don’t care about canon though, so in this she is and Jay takes after her. Added the feathers as an homage, but I don’t think his prefix would be Jay- at all. Maybe another bird? Tempted to give him -frost as a suffix as well but uh, after seeing him try to kill her dad, I don’t think Leafpool would wanna name her son after Hawkfrost at all.

Mayor Fireheart and Secretary Sandstorm.
I drew these on my phone with my finger, so please excuse the quality 😭 I’m a big fan of white firestar with the red, fiery tips, so that’s the design i went with. Leafpool takes after Sandstorm more, but only in physical appearance.
Instead of Greystripe, I imagine Mayor Fireheart would give the deputy position to Sandstorm instead. He would hope that Squirrelflight would gain interest in the position as well, but he’s happy with Leafpool being the town’s doctor. He was great friends with the town’s former doctor, Cinderpelt, and is glad that his daughter could take her place.
Sandstorm is proud of both of her daughters, and is helping Squirrelflight with her relationship problems. (Cough, Brambleclaw) She is closer with Squirrelflight because their personalities are very similar. However, she feels that Leafpool has become very estranged after becoming Thundertown’s doctor…

Just a question, why do you hate Leafpool so much?
Ok so I don’t hate Leafpool, but looking at what I captioned her design with two and a half years ago, I can totally see why you would think that I do. Let’s write a response to it because I’m bored and I have the time.
On the contrary, I think Leafpool is surprisingly well-written in terms of her internal and external conflicts, and I appreciate that her romance with Crowfeather was at least well developed (for warriors). But many of my problems with her lie in the way that she treats Squirrelflight and by some extension, Crowfeather.
She seems have a real problem with holding herself accountable for her mistakes. In Leafpool’s Wish, she asks for Squirrelflight’s support in keeping the secret and exhibitions to the Moonpool etc. and Squirrel is always willing to back her up. However, Squirrel expresses that she doesn’t want to take the kits and lie to her mate, family and clan. Leafpool could not give a rat’s about Squirrelflight’s feelings, and with Yellowfang, pressure Squirrelflight to take the kits all throughout the book. Yellowfang takes it to the point that she tells Squirrelflight that she’s barren and can never have kits of her own; NOT ONLY IS THIS AN AWFUL THING TO SAY BUT WE KNOW THIS TO BE A LIE. And Leafpool just weaponises Yellowfang’s manipulation to have things work out in her favour.
Any interactions with Crowfeather beyond their little escapade are always Leafpool saying “We can’t be a thing anymore”, and Crowfeather just being like “yeah, I know”, sending Leafpool into this rage of “how are you move on, who is Nightcloud etc etc” even though she broke up with him. She seems literally incapable of moving on and does everything in her power to bring it up when Crow is just trying gain his  clanmates respect again.
So yeah, I find Leafpool to be irritating and I don’t like that the authors excuse her behaviour.

Ashfur’s Revenge - Novella - Chapter One
Next Chapter
This novella is inspired by @dark-rose-designs ’s post. The timeline is a little bit changed, not too much to notice, but it is different. Consider this an AU if you will, but I tried to make it as close to the canon books as possible (with a few changes to fill in some gaps). The biggest time difference is that I made Brambleclaw deputy in like Starlight/Twilight instead of Sunset.
If anyone wants notes on my version of these characters, please feel free to ask.
Ashfur’s paws dragged. He barely had the energy to move, let alone follow after the rest of his clan. Where even was his clan? He lifted his head, trying to find any member of his clan within the mass of cats before him. His heart lurched. Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw walked side-by-side, the two of them leading the group alongside Crowfeather and Tawnypelt.
He stuttered in his steps. Tawnypelt’s beautiful tortoiseshell coat shimmering in the pale sunlight, Crowfeather’s long legs keeping stride with Brambleclaw’s broad shoulders who's happy gaze was fixed on Squirrelpaw. Squirrelpaw, who’s dark ginger pelt shone with a StarClan like presence. Ashfur felt sick. He wanted nothing more than to ask to walk with the group, but knew that he would not be welcomed. The four of them had formed a bond far stronger than anything he could ever hope to imagine.
The clans froze, the prophecy cats looking out over a ridge. Ashfur felt a wave of relief, maybe they were finally home. The four cats raced down into their new territory. Ashfur padded forward, standing next to Cloudtail, who looked equally as tired. “We’re finally home.”
Cloudtail grunted in agreement, his pelt ruffled and legs swaying as they awaited the command to follow the four cats. Squirrelpaw leaped up onto a tree stump, beckoning the other cats with her tail.
In a collective group, all four clans streamed down the ridge, collecting below the four. Firestar made his way to the front of the pack, leaping up next to Squirrelpaw and silencing the four clans with the flick of his tail. Ashfur looked up, gazing longingly at Squirrelpaw who was none the wiser to his look.
“It is with great pleasure that I can announce that we have found our new home! I would like to welcome each clan to the lake with a ceremony long overdue,” the ginger leader turned to look at his daughter.
He’s going to make her into a warrior! Ashfur felt a glow of pride grow in his chest. She’s wanted this for ages.
“Squirrelpaw, it is time,” Firestar addressed, holding his head higher. Squirrelpaw’s pelt fluffed out with excitement. “I Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Squirrelpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?”
“I do,” Her voice was as steady as ever, eyes bright and determined.
“Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Squirrelpaw, from this moment you will be known as Squirrelflight. StarClan honors your courage and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan.”
Everyone began to cheer her name, Ashfur trying his best to be the loudest out of everyone. This was more than just a warrior ceremony, this was the first time StarClan was being addressed at their new territories. Ashfur looked over, seeing even warriors of ShadowClan looking pleased with Squirrelflight’s ceremony.
Blackstar dipped his head to Squirrelflight and then addressed everyone, telling them that they would settle here by the lake for the night and in the morning everyone would go out to find their respective territories.
Ashfur turned to face everyone, trying to pick Squirrelflight out of the mass of cats. He pushed his way, making his way over to her, “Congratulations Squirrelflight!”
Squirrelflight smiled at him, her bright green eyes brimming with happiness, “Thank you Ashfur. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time.”
Ashfur playfully shoved her with a shoulder, resting his tail gently on her flank, “No one deserves it more than you,” he purred.
From the crowd came Brambleclaw, his amber eyes gleaming. The moment Squirrelflight saw him he moved away from Ashfur to go towards him. The two warriors nuzzled their heads against one another, their tails intertwining. Ashfur felt his heart break. A sudden pain piercing his chest and spreading throughout his body. He couldn’t deny the happiness in her eyes. He made her happy. What does he have that I don’t?
Ashfur let his tail hit the ground with an audible thump. He stalked away from the couple, noticing Leafpaw looking at him with forgiveness. Ashfur made no move to go over to the medicine cat. He let himself be swept into the mass of cats settling down to sleep and layer down next to two cats smelling of RiverClan. Ashfur sighed and wrapped his tail over his eyes.
A few days had passed. The sun rose and fell and Ashfur felt no better. ThunderClan had found a new camp, borders had been set, but Ashfur could not bring himself to participate in building the clan.
Firestar emerged from his den that was nestled nicely below the new highrock. His ginger pelt looked freshly groomed and shone just like fire in the sunlight. Ashfur couldn’t look at his leader as he called out for a clan meeting. Firestar had the same green eyes as Squirrelflight.
Speaking of... Ashfur saw her walk out of the makeshift warriors’ den and make her way over to Brambleclaw. The pair sat next to each other, pelts brushing. Ashfur dug his claws into the dirt, trying his best not to glare at them.
Firestar looked upset as he looked down on his clan, his gaze flickering over to Leafpool as the medicine cat stepped out of his den. “ThunderClan!” Firestar began, “I do not say these words lightly, but I think it is time to accept the passing of Graystripe.”
Graystripe...dead? Ashfur flicked his ear. A murmur of grief passed through ThunderClan.
“It is time to pick a new deputy. ThunderClan needs someone to help guide it. I say these words before the spirits of our ancestors, and Graystripe's spirit, wherever it may be, may hear and approve my choice. Brambleclaw will be the new deputy of ThunderClan,” Firestar’s voice shook, but he looked as determined and sure as ever as he named Brambleclaw.
Brambleclaw! Ashfur felt another wave of nausea crash over him. He blocked out all of the clan’s protests until a realization hit him, “Why should he be deputy if he hasn’t had an apprentice!” He yowled, standing to his paws.
Even Brambleclaw noted his own lack of an apprentice. Firestar flicked his tail to silence his clan, “I am aware of this. Once Daisy’s kits are of age Brambleclaw will mentor Berrykit. Leafpaw has had a sign, and it is in my best interest, and ThunderClan’s best interest to make Brambleclaw our new deputy.”
“How do we know Leafpool isn’t lying? Isn’t it odd that Squirrelflight is Brambleclaw’s mate, and Squirrelflight is Leafpool’s sister? It’s very convenient that she had a sign about Brambleclaw just now, isn’t it?” Ashfur called out, the fur on his spine bristling. Squirrelflight looked at him with betrayal. Ashfur tried to not let it get to him.
“Say that to my face, foxdung!” Squirrelflight bared her teeth and Ashfur felt a chill run through his body. Would he really have to fight the cat he loved?
Brambleclaw ran forward and grabbed Squirrelflight by her scruff, dragging her back. He whispered something to her and Ashfur felt bile rise up in his throat.
“Leafpool is a wise and honest cat. For what purpose would she have to lie?” Brackenfur retorted, glaring at Ashfur.
“My decision is final. I know that Brambleclaw is young, but he has an experience that few cats have had. He is brave and loyal and I know that he will prove himself to be a wonderful deputy,” Firestar dismissed his clan and any other notions that Brambleclaw shouldn’t be deputy.
Ashfur shot a final look of hatred at Brambleclaw before slinking away into the warriors’ den.
Brambleclaw was organizing hunting patrols. Ashfur sat off, clawing absentmindedly at the dirt. His pelt had grown dull and shaggy in the past two weeks, his ribs starting to show through the clumps of fur. “Ashfur! Will you lead a hunting patrol?” the deputy called to him.
Ashfur looked up in surprise, but Brambleclaw held his gaze evenly. Ashfur nodded and called to his apprentice, Birchpaw, and Thornclaw. The three toms left through the gorse tunnel, with Ashfur shooting another seething look towards Brambleclaw.
Ashfur sent Birchpaw to hunt with Thornclaw, saying that he wanted to hunt alone. He walked off, thankful that Thornclaw was always happy to help with Birchpaw. Ashfur sat by himself near the base of a tree, ignoring every sign of prey that surrounded him.
What did I do to lose her? I don’t understand why she chose him over me! I would’ve given her the world. Brambleclaw is the son of a murderer! Ashfur winced at his own thoughts. Brambleclaw wasn’t his father and everyone knew that. Ashfur could clearly see that Brambleclaw had proven himself to be a loyal ThunderClan member long ago.
He thought back to his apprentice days. Playing with Tawnypaw and Bramblepaw outside the old apprentices’ den. Tawnypaw’s beautiful eyes looking at him with a sense of equality. Tawnypaw never looked at me like fresh-kill. The gray warrior sighed, maybe he still had some feelings for the ShadowClan warrior. But now his heart belonged to Squirrelflight. Not Tawnypelt and not Brambleclaw — even if he couldn’t deny what once was.
“The clan will notice if I don’t bring back any prey,” Ashfur muttered to himself, heaving to his paws. He flexed his claws into the soil and tasted the air.
His technique was sloppy though. With only two mice to count for his hunting efforts, he would have to come up with a good excuse, this forest was full of prey. Even his own apprentice had done better than him. “Very good Birchpaw,” Ashfur praised. His apprentice purred around his thick squirrel.
“You okay Ashfur? Usually you’re an amazing hunter,” Thornclaw looked him over with concern.
“Just not used to these woods yet. Give me another moon and I’ll be bringing back enough prey for the whole clan,” Ashfur joked, fluffing up his pelt to hopefully remove Thornclaw’s gaze from him.
Thornclaw nodded, his eyes still holding a question, but the golden tom said nothing else. Thank StarClan. Ashfur thought. He picked up his catch and beckoned for the other two to follow him back to camp.

Warriors Tag
Original from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW2xOJX9Wzo
This was created by butterflyidentity and I thought this was a cool thing. So I decide to put this on tumbler with the blessing from butterflyidentity
1. How did you get into Warriors?
I got into Warriors when I was in middle school and I was looking for a book to read at Walmart. Where I found and brought the book Fire and Ice. I love it but I was confused about well a lot of things, so then I got Into the Wild. And that’s hook on Warriors and I give the Erin's all of my money.
2. Favorite Arc
Here comes the hate because my favorite is Power of Three.  I like the characters and the mystery of the new prophecy. There also a big theme of family that I like during this arc and I find really enjoyable. ^^
3. Favorite Book (excluding mangas, super editions, novellas)
More hate that may come my way because my favorite book is the Last Hope. The like that clan's version of heaven and hell fights with living. Also, Firestar’s and Tigerstar’s character arcs finally come full circle. In fact, a lot of character development come full circle. Which one the reasons I like it.
4. Favorite Super Edition, Novella, or Manga
Tallstar’s Revenge, mostly because it took me by surprise how good it was. See the thing is when these Super Editions come out I was more looking forward to Bluestar's Prophecy and Crookedstar’s Promise then Tallstar’s one. But when I read I was surprised. I didn’t know that problems that Tallstar had were pretty new to the series and the character was so likable.
5. Favorite Clan
SKYCLAN! SKYCLAN!
Yeah I know they’re silly and they live so far away from the clans that they barely interact with them. But I don’t care. They’re so different from the clans that I actually like reading their books. And now they actually back into the plot in the new arc. :D
6. Favorite Character
Oh, that’s the hard question. My favorites are Yellowfang, Squirrelflight, Hollyleaf, Sharpclaw, Hawkwing, and Alderheart. Now you might be thinking that’s a weird list of cats. Well let me explain:
Yellowfang like her because I like her backstory and her personally. It was rare back in the day(still) that a mother will go fight against her son that was rotten to the core. What she goes through and still could keep it together was so incepting. And her death was so sad especially after she said she wanted her son to be more like Fireheart.
As for Squirrelflight she just makes me happy. She also has really nice character development in the series. She went from being an annoying apprentice to one of the best Thunderclan deputies.
Hollyleaf I like for character development. Like the other main characters in Warrior at the time were always the good guys and they don’t do no wrong. Sure Bambleclaw had that arc with his father but it kinda seems out of place. Hollyleaf it’s the character I feel that a ‘grey’ character. Like she really only cares about her clan, family, and the warrior code.
Sharpclaw I like because he’s really good deputy and warrior to his clan. Even if that’s going against his leader but like Firestar, he just wants what best for his clan.
Hawkwing I feel like have really good development from his book. He went from hot-head to a really good clam deputy. It actually both funny and inspiring.
7. Least Favorite Character
Beside villains that you're supposed to hate like Tigerstar and Darktail. But while I don’t hate him, I dislike Ashfur. Just the whole realized that he went mad because Squirrelflight didn’t want to be his mate. And no, Squirrelflight didn’t lead him on. She just wanted to be a friend but Ashfur didn’t want that. So he tries to kill her kits and got into to Starclan because fans were sad by his death. This just rubs me in all the wrong places...
8. Most Aesthetically Pleasing Cat
That depends on how you draw them because there are no official designs. But if we going off what the guide tells us then I like Tawnypelt design, and Ashfur.
9. Favorite Leader
This is easy Leafstar, Bluestar, Tallstar, and Mistystar. Just because I feel like those leaders are really good because they always trying to make the decisions but always second guesses themselves. But they willing to take charge.
10. Favorite Villain
Well you see I like a villain who is either complex or ‘fun’ And really not one of them are really fun or that complex. They try with Tigerstar’s past and Breezepelt’s relationship with his father. But Breezepelt was not hurting his father but his mother and friend. Who he actually like.  And Tigerstar made a really good one in his book, there were these voices in his head and his father left him a very young age. When I heard about I was going billet!  Then we find out later that it was Mapleshade that was doing that to Tigerstar. That was huge disappoint with me.
So I guess the only villain I like is the new one Darktail. He shows a lot of promise of tricking both Shadowclan and Skyclan into trusting him. Hopefully, this villain won’t disappointed.
11. Favorite Medicine Cat
Yellowfang. Her backstory, her character development, and her relationship were work really well. But when in POT and OOTS she a bit of bitch. But overall I like her because of her flaws and her death was one of the saddest one in the series.
12. Overrated Character
I have to say Breezepelt. Just the fandom always making excuses for him for all the bad things he was done.
13. Underrated Character
I think Dovewing. Like if you look at the Warrior fandom she doesn't have much love as Ivypool. Plus I feel she gets a lot of hate for all the wrong reasons. People like her for the woobie. The jersey sister instead of brave cat that spy on the Dark Forest.
14. Favorite Minor Character
Sorreltail and Ferncloud. I like mother characters.
15. Favorite Pairing
Firestar and Sandstorm, and Bramblestar and Squirrelflight. I feel like their relationship was developing more realistic. Then the side characters have hints and then later boom kits, without actually character development.
16. Least Favorite Pairing
Crowfeather and Leafpool. They were to act like teenagers that think they know the true meaning of love but don’t. And it’s no wonder it falls apart like it did.
17. Favorite Friendship
Got to hand to Graystripe and Firestar. They have been through everything together. In fact, I ship sometimes.
18. Favorite Moment
Oh boy, this was a hard question. There are a lot of great moments in the Warrior series. But I think the ending the Sunset was really good. It was like the first really bad ending for a Warrior arc. The Last Hope was actually really good. Everything comes together at the end and the huge epic battle between Starclan, Place of No Stars, and the clans were really good. So yeah, those two are my favorite.
19. Most Tragic Death
Stonefur, Yellowfang, and Hollyleaf. All three deaths I didn’t see coming. All deaths were beloved characters from both story and the fans. All death could be been avoided at one point. Even in case of Hollyleaf and Yellowfang would have to kill Ivypool and Bramblekit would have died. So yeah, those stuck with me.
20. Favorite Battle / Fight Scene
The battle between the Dark Forest vs The Four Clans and Starclan. Great action, drama, and nice set off for some of the characters.
