Still thinking about how Ishida Sui redrew chapter 1 of Tokyo Ghoul after the series ended and said that he was gonna redraw the whole series with his improved art skills then just never did.

Okay, thank you for explaining your reasoning. Also sorry, I admit I was a bit rude in your previous ask. I’m happy to see that you like the JB translation so much, but unfortunately the answer is still no. 

First of all, if you’re talking about Mangastream, I’m assuming you mean Tokyo Ghoul:re, not the original Tokyo Ghoul which has already been scanlated in full by Twisted Hel Scans, which they did a good job on.

The thing is, scanlating a chapter, let alone 100-something chapters, is not as simple as you expect it to be. You say that you'd just find a Spanish speaker who could translate from the English JB version, but scanlating is not just composed of translators and proofreaders. They are made up of cleaners, redrawers, typesetters, and quality checkers, who have a ton of work cut out for them (especially redrawers, bless their souls) every chapter. If you check the credits page for each chapter, there are usually 5-10 people listed there. The fact that you want these people to spend hundreds of hours out of their busy lives to work on a series that has already been scanlated (and is already licensed in both English and Spanish) for the sake of providing a good Spanish translation is, frankly, selfish and very inconsiderate of them, me included. (This is the reason why I was so annoyed in the previous ask.)

Instead of asking us to do more work, why don’t you initiate it yourself instead? I don’t know how feasible it is to find a Japanese to Spanish translator, but there must be one out there somewhere. Recruit people who would be able to provide a good Spanish translation that can capture the essence of TG. If you’re passionate about this, I’m sure you’ll be able to find someone in the Spanish fandom who will be willing to help you. Good luck!
