Oh sweet Shakespeare… I normally barely get through the Shakespeare plays that we study at school but King Lear is probably one of my favourites so far, alongside Macbeth which we read last year and I thought it was brilliant! I, on the other hand, did not like Romeo and Juliet at all although the story is quite interesting and tells you what NOT to do in the situation where you fall in love with your family's sworn enemy's only kid. I am also really procrastinating on doing my ISU and do not thank past me for choosing such a hard and long and complicated book in grade 12 english but it also shows, I guess, that I am willing to go a bit above and beyond in my reading choices. Do you like any of Shakespeare's plays? If so, which ones? Have you read King Lear?
