I really loved your paper! Reading it as an NDN in the US it was really educative on the history and some traditions of the Red River Métis, as well as history I wasn't aware of previously. I think i started following you shortly after you finishes your cart and seeing all the other works you've created or written has been such a joy to see.

The way you kind of laugh at some things and poke fun at aspects of the settler-colonial mindset is such fun to see. As is your frank honesty that being Métis is complicated and in many ways ugly. I can understand that as a mixed Eastern Woodlands native man, who is also queer. Thank you for sharing that with us and I cant wait to see what you do next.
