Body Horror Week Prompts Are Live!

Welcome to Trigun Body Horror Week 2024!

We’ve set up a week of fantastic flavors of bodily horrors for you, and here is our official post sharing the prompts for you to cook with.

Body Horror Week is going to run from Feb 11th, 2024 until Feb 17th, 2024

For each set of prompts, we have an organ, two different songs, and a quote to inspire you into making the best horrors you’ve got.

The official hashtag for the week is #trigunbodyhorrorweek, and we’ll do our best to reblog your submissions the day of and whatever we may have missed during the week, we’ll reblog after. Feel free to tag us as well!

Where do your roots start

And where do your roots end?

Something about seeing only the worst of yourself in the mirror. Something violent and terrifying, but knowing you only grew that violence in response to violence against you. Knowing your power comes from a place of trauma, something you don’t remember but wish had never happened. But it did, and here you are. There’s something new in you that isn’t the you that you understand and you wish it wasn’t but it is. Violence begets violence and you are unable to control what grows from the seeds that were planted. So you have to live with it and try not to let that violence spread.

You’ve already failed once.

And you see it every time you look in the damn mirror.

Silence falling during a mission with Midvalley usually means one of two things - either Midvalley's dealt with the problem or someone's dealt with him. Sudden silence in an alleyway followed by a gunshot, in Nicholas's experience, typically means some combination of the two. Given Bluesummers sent them out to deal with some gang and their boss, Nicholas is certain it's some combination of the two, and he hates being right about it.

Trigun Body Horror Week- Eyes

Ahhh It's not midnight yet here so I'm technically not late!! I wanted to try this prompt challenge as I love Trigun and body horror. I ended up going with Tesla's eye- fairly straightforward in meaning but her discovery does act as a major catalyst for events in the story. Plus I remember reading some analysis (I don't remember by who sorry) that Knives' whirling knives in episode 3 mimicked an eye structure as a reference to Tesla.
